I've walked past Brava in the past, but after seeing good reviews on Yelp decided to give them a try and boy was I pleased. Servers are personal and friendly, no pressure and helpful. The food is tapas style with just the right amount of choices. The Swiss chard was prepared perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. The meat balls were better than grandmas and the wine pairing suggested by our server was perfect. By the way, one of the most extensive wine and beer list anywhere. I look forward to dining here again. When the weather is nice, definitely sit outside. read more

We walked On a busy Saturday without a reservation,we got a table for two indoors luckily! Great service including the hostess and the server! Arugula salad was very good - apricots and cheese were a great addition, there was a little too much sherry vinaigrette. Boom boom shrimp had a nice subtle kick and crispy! Tomato and basil soup was warm and tasty, paired well with side of bread. Wings come 8 in an order and the habanero delivered on the spice! Beautiful ambiance indoors with mood lighting. My parents love this place, which is why we checked it out for a Friday night dinner in the off-season. I'm not sure if it was an off night, but unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite and I'm not sure I would go back. There are definitely a lot of pros, it was easy to make a reservation, we were promptly seated at a clean and quiet table once we arrived, and the service was overall pretty timely. However, the food and drink left a little bit to be desired. As vegetarians, split a pizza (the olives and mozzarella one) and the kale salad. The salad was fine, but the carrot and tomato was pretty sparse, and the kale felt like nothing had been done to it, like it hadn't been massaged or seasoned or anything so it had a very raw flavor. The pizza was super salty and felt very onenote. It felt like the sauce was a little bit salty, and then the olives, garlic, and oregano were just all very savory. At the end of the night we split a bread pudding for the table, which also wasn't my favorite - the bread was really hard and just hadn't been soaked enough in whatever the flavoring was to mask it. We sat at the bar after a day of exploring to grab a few appetizers and a pizza. The bartenders were so friendly with suggestions of food options and wines. The mint sauce served with the lamb chops was outstanding. I could have eaten 3 more lamb chops. The mussels were on specials and very flavorful, garlicky and the broth was drinkable. Whitney at the door is a grump. No smile or welcome when he opened the door at 5pm, just a snarky, rude bitter man. Wine list is nice as were the lamb chops, meatballs and pizza....but the boom boom shrimp (with tail on) were dry and not enjoyable. We were looking for a place to grab dinner before a Tanglewood show (Jon Batiste, that's a whole NOTHER review) and every place that took reservations was booked or opened too late for our comfort. Brava doesn't take reservations but we arrived 10 minutes before they opened at 5p on a summer Friday night, expecting a line but only 2 folks ahead of us. They opened promptly at 5p and we had our choice of seats so selected a lovely window table for 2 where we could people-watch. The service was top-notch and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. We started with an orange sauvignon blanc (refreshing!) and a 3-cheese platter with brie, manchego and blue cheese accompanied with baguette slices, apricots gherkin pickles, peppers and a yummy jam. The fare is small plates good for sharing. We shared a delicious pizza with caramelized onions, mushrooms and other goodies. A so-so experience here the other night. We arrived around 7:30 and were seated immediately. Our server got us drinks quickly and took our order, too. All fine. When we got our food, however, we were let down a bit. The patatas bravas (potatoes) were rather gummy, the flatbread pizza was surprisingly doughy, shilito peppers bland. Best of our orders was the tasty salmon, which was about entree size, not tapas. Go figure. One big objection: the interior dining is quite noisy; wish we had been seated on the covered patio. read more

I stopped into Brava at about 10pm on a Thursday night and was pleasantly surprised when they told me their kitchen was still open. In fact, I believe it stays open til midnight! I took a seat at the bar and was immediately greeted with a smile and a glass of ice water. I ordered one of their delicious handmade pizzas and a porter beer. The combo was perfect! The meatball pizza had just the right amount of pesto drizzled on top and was just what the doc ordered. Brava is one of my favorite spots for pizza in Lenox. During my first visit, they were really accommodating to our large party and we had nice outdoor patio seating. They are also open really late which is super convenient. They have great pizza - my favorite being the basil pesto. Bruschetta was a bit weird, having a tomato jam instead of actual tomato. It was alright but I would have preferred it with just regular tomato. I ended up going back a few times for their pizza. The interior was also really nice but sometimes the pizza took a while. read more

Very rarely do you find a place which gets close to 5-stars with as many reviews ... now I see why. The food here is excellent and the beer and wine list is very creatively sourced. Another cool thing is that they are open on Monday, which many restaurants in the Berkshires are not. And they are open late ... until 10 or 10:30 p.m.! We had their pizza and it was everything others say it was. Our favourite was the one with Fontina, Prosciutto and Arugula. It was unique and very fresh testing. No tomato sauce on this one ... but we also had a plain cheese and tomato sauce and it was very good as well. Some of the beers they had on draft are hard to find, even in cans! Their wine selection was good ... and we are fussy wine drinkers. The atmosphere is great ... it feels upscale and cozy without seeming pretentious. The music and vibe are perfect and there was enough space between tables and bar seats where we felt comfortable. The prices are what you'd expect from one of the Berkshires' wealthiest towns. You pay around $20 for a pizza, depending on toppings. There is only one size pizza and it easily would feel 2 people, unless you were really hungry. I'd say it is around medium sized. The staff toggles between friendly and a bit prickly. Even the prickly ones are helpful, however. You can tell a lot of locals go here, as well as tourists. On a Monday night, it seemed like more locals and there was a good vibe and buzz without it being too empty and creepy or too crowded and loud. We will certainly come back here when staying in the area! The food is excellent and the vibe is awesome ... clean, uncluttered and warm. The only thing that would have been better is if they had their gas fireplace on. We can verify that this place earns its 4.75 stars. We give it 5! read more

Brava was great. I'll prob come back every time I'm in the berkshires even though there's countless other restaurants, Brave is that good. The staff was kind and super attentive. Our waiter pretty much followed us to our table when we were sat to give us water and let us know he'll be back in a few min to take our orders or answer any questions. I told him I wanted a lighter beer and he brought back a great pale ale from Maine beer company called Peeper. We got the bread and sea salt butter. The crust of the bread was very crispy and the inside super soft, it was delicious. The pizza was excellent with not too much pesto but enough to flavor it. My girlfriend got the gambas al ajillo, which she loved. Overall great food and great experience. Can't wait to come back! read more

AMAZING! I love a tapas restaurant, try a bunch to share is wonderful, and good wine helps! Don't call me crazy but GET THE SWISS CHARD! The boom boom shrimp was so good! The sauce on the patatas bravas is good but spicy beware. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! The special pizza had pork, onions, pineapple I forget the cheese but this is also a MUST, I know pineapple on pizza is a NO NO but this was AMAZING! The food was outstanding. We enjoyed every dish (there was also a pizza and some bread and butter that I forgot to photograph). The shrimp and the bruschetta were so good and the pizza crust was so nice. The service however was spotty. We had some great servers, but one was very busy with everyone else in the room and seemingly didn't notice us sitting there waiting to order for quite some time until we had to ask him if he was our server. I think this a cute spot. The food is pretty good and the service is better. I've been here twice now so I think I'm getting a pretty good grasp on the restaurant. There's a rotating selection of beers on tap and unfortunately last time nothing struck our fancy. This is essentially a tapas restaurant with pizzas. The calamari was very good, very fresh. We liked the boom boom shrimp. The prosciutto arugula pizza is good a lot of arugula. The caramelized onion and bacon pizza has too much bacon and the crust was too thin. Can't say enough good things about this spot. This restaurant is located in the cutest town - Lenox, MA, where we were visiting for leisure. We stumbled upon Brava because we saw that they were dog friendly on the patio. The staff were so sweet and kind to our dog Winnie. We all had a delicious meal (the pesto on their pizza was unreal), and they have a large assortment of beers on tap. The ambiance is definitely casual and family friendly. Brava was a little slice of heaven. I went there on the strength of Yelp reviews and my fellow Yelpers didn't disappoint. My wife and I shared several tapas and they were all delicious. We had the meatballs (don't waste the yummy pasta sauce - scoop it up!), boom boom shrimp (even better than the meatballs), and the lamb chop. I'm not a big lamb fan but this was exquisite - by far the best I have ever had! The fries were well seasoned and good too. We topped it off with peach bread pudding. It wasn't a big serving, but every tender morsel was savored and simply delicious. If you find yourself in Lenox, you owe it to yourself to stop here. Came here on a weekend night for a libation after an amazing day at Canyon Ranch. The place was pleasantly full considering the late hour. Several people at the bar. A few tables were taken. The place is small but had a great cozy atmosphere. The lighting was low and flattering. Music perfect volume; conversation was easily heard as well as the music. Service was attentive and not intrusive. My vodka dirty martini was perfect. The wine and beer selection is impressive. Brava had a hard time handling the pre concert demand. First off one of our cocktails was prepared wrong and the manager had an attitude for fixing it. Brava uses food runners. The result was one person in our party got their food and was almost finished eating before the waiter even noticed no one else at our table had gotten our food.
