Went to this restaurant for a graduation party on a Sunday at 4pm. We had a reservation and they were able to accommodate our party of 10. I had the Fettuccine Con Julienne Di Manzo which was very good. The beef was tender and the pasta well cooked. For dessert I had the chocolate torte which was very rich. We had the fried mozzarella as a app. It was 2 pieces of mozzarella for around $10 which is a little pricey, but very good. Bread as an app was warm and served with butter. Our waiter was very nice, but a little pushy with drinks. For example when you asked for a refill he came back with your refill and an extra refill. Which some people may enjoy, but for me it was too many drinks and I ended up not touching one. He did this for multiple members of our party. Again he was very nice just a small critique. read more

We came here for dinner over Family Weekend. Glad we made reservations because it was packed within a half hour of our getting here. We were seated in the smaller, more intimate dining room. I would pick that area next time because the larger part seemed loud. They did have a piano player in the larger room, which was probably fun. Our server, Sheridan, was good and helped time our meal, which was nice. He also made good suggestions about the appetizers and seemed to know about the entrées. The bread came out warm, which I always appreciate! We enjoyed the fried mozzarella, burrata salad, and the Caesar salad. The chicken piccata was literally perfect. It was tender and with not a super heavy sauce. My husband had the veal saltimboca, which was tasty but a tad overdone, which I was surprised by. But still yummy. The other two people enjoyed the carbonara (also seemed somehow not overly creamy, which maybe some people won't like but looked good to me), and the pasta with spinach. We will probably be back at some point. Nice for a fancier meal. read more

We enjoy Alina's. It is our go to restaurant. We enjoy their seasonal menus and the cocktails are consistently good. Decor and ambiance are great. This is upscale (for the area) and yet very comfortable. Personally, I love sitting at the bar, but the tables are nice and there is a private party space downstairs. Service is always good and most of the servers have been there a long while. All that said, I wish there were some classics on the menu. Sometimes you just want a nicely done lasagna bolognese or spaghetti with garlic bread. read more

Absolutely incredible meal and phenomenal service!! Best in the Valley for Italian

Went here last Valentines, so wanted to it give it another try. Last year we noticed the lighting wasn't great, so dark that it was hard to see the menus. Luckily this year they seemed to spruce it up. We quickly were brought to our seats, unlike last year where we waited a .5hr+ for a 6:30 reservation. My fiancé ordered the lobster ravioli, I tried some as well and we both felt it to be delicious!! I ordered the 12oz sirloin, medium. The temp was good on it, but it still didn't give you that melt in your mouth feel. Still a tad tough. Flavor was good, a bit on the sweeter side. Wish it could've gotten a bit more seasoning to it. Mashed was standard, a bit dry but good. The veggies were a bit cold, could've gotten some more love/seasoning. Our waiter was fantastic, I am terrible when it comes to names but his service was memorable!! Very friendly and always had a smile on his face!! Price came out to be about $40 per meal, which I understand it was a holiday and rates have been going up so I'm not gonna knock on them too much for that. It was a pretty delightful experience again, would definitely check it out again!! read more

Perfectly prepared salmon delivered with exquisite service by Lindsey in a beautiful room complete with piano music.

A chance visit became a magical evening. We called at 4pm for a dinner reservation and the cheery answerer snagged us a bar seat (more on this later) at 6:45. Turns out this was co-owner Maritza. Also turns out it was her a chef and co-owner Martin's 20th wedding anniversary! Tip - While online reservations are possible, only calls for same day rezos after 3:30pm. So the "bar seats" are stools set at a high top table next to the bar. This gives you lots of room on the table and the bar. The stools are comfortable and swivel, allowing us a view into the kitchen (see pic) and to interact with the amazing bartender Nicole, as well as the two chefs. Covid protocols are strictly followed, with well spaced seating in the two dining areas and at the bar. We felt very comfortable inside on this chilly, rainy night. Not only did we get to watch kitchen prep and cooking all evening, but we got to appreciate how well organized they were despite being packed! The staff treated each other with care and we could tell this is a true team effort. We got to chat a bit with everyone, and had such a wonderful time...celebrating our next-day 37th anniversary! The menu is mouthwatering and different from the usual Italian fare. Wish we could taste our way through! The wine list is solid, both depth and price-wise. We started with the scallops Mare et Monti, in a bed a crispy wild mushrooms and a lightly spiced tangerine butter. Outstanding! My wife had the Chicken Piccata. No breading, tender, with just the right amount of flavorful sauce. Amazingly, she also consumed ALL of her least favorite veggie green beans! Best ever, she claimed! I went with the Alina's Linguine, with a bit of everything- chicken, shrimp, scallop, sausage in a flavorful creamy tomato & rosemary sauce with capers This was an evening we will not forget! On a snowy February evening we decided to go to Alianas. I had been a few times before many years ago, but not seeking a vegetarian meal. We had a nice table near an electric fireplace and our order promptly and pleasantly taken. For appetizer we split Schiacciat, the house salad, with also hot rolls and butter. Going all in, we split orders of palermitna and convict pasta. All exceeded expectations. The salad with light italian balsamic and the finely grated prmigiano a great opening to the outstanding smoked ckeese basil sauce on mushrooms and penne. So rich and decedent, we slowly had a bite at a time between sips of our drinks. The lighter sicillian soulfood with raisins, pignoli nuts, hot pepper flakes on angel hair provided a nice contrast that was subtler, yet delicious. Coffee and tea with tiramisu a perfect finish. I've been to two private parties held here. In both cases, staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. The food was excellent, the wine was great, the ambiance was elegant. All the guests had a great time. There is ample parking as well. I've eaten here when there were not private parties as well and experienced the same great service and food. Wow is all I can say about our experience at Alinas! Sitting in the piano room was great with the pianist playing songs. Our server was absolutely amazing...right on point with everything and his personality was unforgettable. So let's start with the scallop and mushroom appetizer it was splendid. Perfectly cooked scallops and mushrooms so tasty. I had Alina's linguine with nice sized shrimp, scallops, chicken, and thinly sliced sausage. What a flavorful dish all the ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked. The subtle taste of rosemary in the sauce just put it over the top. My wife's swordfish dish was equally amazing. We were pretty full at this point but when the food is this good you gotta get desert. Chocolate torte was decadent, crème brûlée out of this world. It was a beautiful evening- not too hot and beautiful out of the tent. There is a wonderful date night special $85 for a bottle of wine, shared appetizer, entree, salad and shared dessert. Called several times and it only went through to voicemail so I left a message_my parents arrived only 20 minutes after original Res and they refused to seat them, despite the fact my Mom is also using a walker as she is recovering from a stroke: They proceeded to seat multiple other parties despite the fact there were other tables available. This is terrible service that is frankly unacceptable, whether a special occasion or otherwise. First and last time even attempting to dine at Alina's - my parents ended up leaving and going to the Deerfield Inn where they had a lovely experience. read more

Sadly, had a poor experience at our favorite restaurant tonight. Our waitress rushed us through our dinner. She kept coming up to our table asking if we were ready to order and then said, "well the kitchen is going to kill me if I don't get it in." Keep in mind it was 6:30pm. We also asked for bread twice and did not get any. I then asked the main hostess and she brought out two rolls for four people :/ We love this restaurant but was a sad experience. read more
