Spoleto has a huuuge outdoor patio that is perfect for summer nights. Most of the patio is covered, so even if it rains like it did for us, we could still sit outside. They even have these really cool fire pit tables! There were a few different veggie options to choose from ranging from pizza to salad to pasta. I loooved the arancini! Whenever I see these on a menu, I order them because they're so good! These ones were stuffed with cheese in the middle. Yum! They had a fun list of mocktails for a very reasonable price. I had the mango spritz which was super yummy! For my main course, I had the eggplant rollatini. It was okay! I love eggplant, but I felt like there was no flavor in the dish, just sauce and cheese. I think it would be pretty easy to spruce it up a bit! Definitely come check out their patio before it gets too cold!

We sat outside at the high top tables. I had a glass of Pinot Noir with the pre fixed menu: $31 for garlic bread, a healthy entree of cheese ravioli and dessert. Below

Very hospitable staff. I give it up the to head chef for bringing out a nice bottle of wine since we're celebrating and for personally greeting us. The lighting inside made it a great spot for dating. The drinks were very good! I did expect the food to be better though. The stuffed shells were not what I expected as it was just some pasta with meat mixed in the dish.

So we went to Spoletos Restaurant. What a perfect night to sit outside. The food was good. But the service was horrible. Our main dish never came. The manager overcharged us on 2 items and said service was poor because he never knows how many diners are going to show up. Hmmmmm. I had a bad experience about 4 yrs ago as well. Guess we are sticking with Joes.

I really love Spoleto's. Easy, tasty, solid seating options, great drink choices. I've had dinner and drinks on multiple occasions sitting down and then ordered food for pick up on other occasions. Great choices every time. Lots and lots of great food and dessert options, and when the weather is warm, their outdoor seating is perfect. When it's cold, sit on their new deck that has the heated lamps. Delightful year round. Highly recommend their garlic bread. It slams. And their spaghetti with ricotta is bomb. Pizza is also good.

The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of an architecturally pleasing brick building, with the interior ambiance (decor & lighting) fitting of the food style, setting a comforting mood along with the classic 50's/60's Italian American music. All around the food was both tasteful and comforting, similar to what I remember my Nonni would make. From the Calamari Friitti (appetizer) served with both a marinara and vodka sauce, the Meatballs (appetizer) of a classic beef and pork blend, to the Chicken Francaise (dinner), everything combined for a delicious meal. Mulino's is a great estaurant to visit with your spouse or friends for a nice 'family' dinner without being overly fancy/stuffy. One minor critique as I pretend to be a legitimate food reviewer, add a slight touch more butter to the Chicken Francaise sauce. My son and I collectively rated Mulino's: 4.25/5.

While our table was being set up outside, we enjoyed a drink at the bar--the 15-minute wait was absolutely worth it. The outdoor setting was beautiful, with greenery creating a relaxed summer vibe and live music playing under a small tent, adding to the atmosphere. Our server was equally delightful--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Now, the food: outstanding. We started with the beets and peas salad, which was bursting with flavor--our plates were practically licked clean. The house arugula salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly balanced with a light, lemony vinaigrette. For mains, we shared the roasted half chicken and the bucatini. Both were phenomenal. I rarely order chicken at restaurants since it often feels too plain, but this one was perfection--crispy skin, juicy meat, and seasoning that carried through every bite. The bucatini, made with homemade pasta and loaded with crispy pancetta, was absolutely irresistible. We couldn't resist finishing with the "Little Mason Jar" dessert, which was indulgent and delicious. Everything--from the service to the food to the ambiance--was exceptional. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the area

Their Mussels Fra-Diavlo were fresh tender and juicy, sauteed in garlic olive oil, with crushed red peppers and rich Pomodoro sauce. We loved their brightly-flavored chicken piccata, pan-sautéed in light fresh-tasting olive oil, with white-wine lemon-butter sauce, tasty little capers, and melt-in-your-mouth artichoke hearts. The atmosphere was lively, the decor was on the heavier darker side, which I actually prefer. Things went downhill from there though. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come by the table, and another 15 to get our menus and finally place an order. It seemed as though there were several staff on the floor, but only one was actually waiting on tables. Our server started out seemingly a bit perturbed with us, but they eased up as the evening progressed. I had a decent glass of red, and we also ardered some non-alcoholic beverages which were festive looking and tasted nice. We ordered the foccaccia appetizer. It came out just shy of burned. It was dry, bland and flat tasting, but heavily salted. I had high hopes for the the Spezzatino di Manzo, a beef stew. It may have been rich in taste at some point, but all I got from it was salt. The beef was edible but not as tender as it should have been, and what few vegetables and potatoes survived were mush or nearly pulverized. There were also quite a bit of chewy gristle. The Roasted Mushroom Risotto was unexpectedly watery and flavorless, almost soupy. The Alla Vodka Fettuccini was cooked properly, and wasn't bad, but was tomato heavy for an alla vodka. The chicken in this dish however was overcooked and dry. For dessert, we got the lemon sorbet which was perfectly fine, but it's really hard to mess up sorbet. I don't know how this place has as many stars as it does. Our experience was an expensive disappointment.
