Neat restaurant has a full bar with multiple tvs, enjoyable ambiance. I like the open kitchen where you can see one can see the pizzas being made. Outdoor seating also where mill river can be viewed through the trees. For the pizza the toppings were delicious and with an extensive variety. Topping are only two dollar each on a 14 inch which is quite a bargain, as well as the price of the pizzas being fair with 14 inch pizzas being $16. iAnd overall it a solid pizza however parts of the dough being a bit undercooked and even borderline raw, it was also light on tomato sauce, which they did give me more of on the side. I can only give the pizza 3 stars. I blame the undercooked pizza to us ordering right before closing so I will have to come back to order again to see if thats a real issue. Either way consider asking for it well done, and definitely with extra sauce which it was completely lacking. Overall I would recommend it. read more

Food was great, wait staff was friendly and attentive. The only issue I had was, it took 15min. To get a drink in a less than crowded bar. Bartender was more interested in talking to a customer at the bar about the Bruins. If you're not in a hurry, it's a great place. read more

I've been a semi-regular customer for several years. This time will be my absolute last. I had a serious complaint about my order, called and asked to speak to the manager, was told they would call me back. They never called back. Now I notice they are looking for employees in almost every category. What used to be a great place to get food and drinks has gone so downhill it's disappointing. To not call a customer back is inexcusable. Due to the nature of my complaint I will never order food from this establishment again - it was that bad. read more

We've been here a couple times and it's a nice tavern. We only ordered pizzas both times. They were tasty and fresh. The pizza could be a bit more crisp, but we enjoyed them. The drinks are good and prices are fair. We will definitely be back. read more

It's a local spot for sure with the occasional F-bomb from the bar. Kids; cover your ears. No matter, vegetable pizza was absolutely delicious. Fresh veggies, tangy marinara, and superb crust; all of it expertly wood-fired. Service was prompt and courteous. As for the vibe, layout was a bit tight, much of the real estate given over to the bar. Mostly high tops with a couple of booths. Food was delicious - the risotto special was so good! It was a corn risotto with grilled chicken - the flavor was outstanding and the portion was huge! I have been here twice. Once to eat in and another time for takeout. We came on a weekend to eat, with no reservations. Business was already brisk. Were seated quickly and in a reasonable time served. The food was great. I had a seasonal special of Risotto and Squash. My partner had a pasta dish. They were delicious. Another time we ordered pizza. The order was made online and in a few minutes I received a call, informing me that the desert I ordered (Tiramisu) was out. Asking if I had any other requests. The lemon cake I chose was also especially nice. (Note: It was a Tuesday at about 6:45 I came to pick up the takeout order and I was surprised at how the place was already full of folks and lively with conversation, and people eating.) Something that I can't help noticing, both as an eat-in customer, and returning to pick up my pizza, is how intelligent and communicative the servers all seem to be. Another thing is the general good mood of people inside, and casually interacting with others coming and going from this establishment. I stopped by the Mill River Tavern in Hatfield for pizza takeout very recently. The place offers dine-in and takeout including a variety of traditional and specialty thin crust pizzas (NY style & Old World style) in 10" and 14" sizes, calzones, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. The bar offers several beers (on tap, bottles & cans), wine, and cocktails. The pizzas are baked on an open flame here. The place is very cozy with high top seating, table seating, and seating at the bar. I quickly looked at a menu when I got here and the server suggested the Smokin' Sausage Pizza, which I decided to order a 14" pie ($20). The pizza was hot, boxed and ready in about 15 minutes. While I was waiting, the server brought out some ice water to where I was sitting, which was appreciated since it was hot and humid outside. I enjoyed my pizza outside with my big fountain drink. The Smokin' Sausage pizza was loaded with several toppings including fresh basil, tomatoes, red onions, roasted red peppers, cream sauce, sliced Italian sausage, and mozzarella cheese on a thin chewy fire baked crust. This pizza was very tasty and after enjoying 3 slices, I was all set with 5 more slices left for the next day. read more

Our pizzas were not cooked enough, the cheese was cheep and it over powered the sauce and toppings. The table was not cleaned!! and food was delivered in a random order. We came here when they first opened, the care and attention that went into the food was cleaner and more on point than tonight. Now that it has become more popular, you can tell that the food is rushed and undercooked. I think this place has taking quite a beating. It's not evolving into as wonderful a restaurant as I had hoped, sadly. I do not want to come here again however if I end up here, I hope that it's better than the experience I had tonight. this place has very strong bones and I'm fearful that it's not heading in the right direction. that being said if you want good atmosphere and a good beer, please come here this place is worth your time and it's worth the experience. however if you're coming here with your family and you're looking for a good dining experience like we were. please go elsewhere. read more

We were so excited to try this place. New to us and we heard it was good. It was busy when we arrived and more people came in after us. Some had to wait for a table. It took too long for the server to come over to take our drink order but we chose to be patient. It took way too long to actually get our drinks (2) and discussed leaving but decided to be patient. Once we did get our drinks we had to wait even longer to order food. The server finally came over. We started ordring with our appetizer and she left and said "let me put that in". When we finally got our app we had no utensils or napkins so we had to go ask for them. We finished our app and still had not placed our food order. She finally came back to take our order but the food never came. She never came back to offer another drink. We were growing very impatient when we saw people that came in after us, finished, paid and leaving with their leftovers. We had to go ask where our food was. The server had to go to a downstairs kitchen to check. While waiting to find out the status another table that had arrived only 5-10 minutes prior, received their app. That is when we decided it was time to leave. The server came back to tell us one of our meals was ready but the other was not. Too late. We were done. We had been there over an hour. All tables I mentioned had the same server. She should have known who came in first. The bar was almost full when we arrived, more people arrived after us and was empty when we finally gave up. read more

We ordered take out. Food was not hot and fresh. Mozzarella sticks were congealed and under cooked. The accompanying marinara sauce was absolutely terrible. The Overwhelming amount of oregano made it inedible. The crispy chicken Caesar wraps, had soggy wilted lettuce, and the potato chips were soggy and soft as well. We ordered online-we arrived on time to pick up our order-(we are staying one minute away) my guess is they had the order ready we'll ahead of our scheduled pick-up time, which resulted in poor quality meal. read more
