The shop inside is so beautifully curated you feel as if you're in a museum. If you've ever been to an Anthropologie store, it gives off similar vibes. They offer some local artist goods, a lot of it coming from women owned businesses. Many of these beautiful items come with a hefty price tag though. But its consistently troubling issue is the large amount of flour caked on and baked on the outside of the loaves. They use an extreme amount of flour on the raw dough as a release from their baking baskets, and after the bake they just leave it all stuck to the loaf. When I bring a loaf home I often spend a few minutes smacking it and scraping it over the sink where I dislodge so much raw flour from the outside of the bread. Sometimes there's a rind of undercooked flour cemented to the outside of the loaf. This is wildly unacceptable.

The café itself is a nostalgic throwback to the neighborhood coffee houses of the '90s, complete with wooden tables, local artwork, and burlap coffee sacks from around the world displayed like works of art. When I finished my first cup, I went back for a refill and decided to try the Rainbow Blend. That turned out to be the highlight of the visit. It was exceptionally smooth, full-bodied, and remarkably low in acidity, making it easy to savor every sip. I enjoyed it so much that I left with a bag to brew at home. If I could give ZERO stars I would because of the horrible attitude the clerk had. It was 2:30 am and I arrived in the East Hampton area 90 min early for a delivery apt at the USPS facility. Everything in the area was closed except 7-11 so I took my truck over to use the restroom and grab a coffee. Now this is a full service fuel/c-store location but when I walked in and asked where the restroom was the clerk, an older guy, snapped at me "we don't have one" I asked if he was serious and myself and another customer who walked in before me looked at each other and in unison said "are you kidding me?" the only place in town that's open and he denies a truck driver the use of his restroom, unbelievable.. I have to add it must be a 7-11 thing because a couple of nights later I stopped at the Haverhill, MA 7-11 around the same time and again was told they don't have a restroom. Damn shame they want your business but deny a truck driver the use of a restroom. I won't ever stop at a 7-11 again I'd actually drive 20 miles out of the way to go anywhere else because of these two experiences. Screw 7-11
