Years later and this is still the only cake that my parents will finish a slice of lol. Whenever a new person sees the cake they are also surprised saying they'd never seen a cake like this before. I hope they continue this seasonal item for summers to come. $50 for an 8 inch, can probably feed 8-10 people. The tiramisu and Black Forest slices were also delicious and light. The cream puffs were also awesome.

They make their cakes fresh and I love that you can sometimes make last-minute orders. I was trying to find a birthday cake for my friend and remembered that they sell really delicious sponge cakes here. I put in an order at 4:30 and it was ready by 5:40 with the icing on it. Best of all, the cake was so delicious (**not too sweet**) with fresh fruits. I love how crunchy the bottom of the sponge cake breading is, to contrast with the softness of the cake

The cakes are always so fluffy and moist here! I have ordered from here many times and the cakes never disappoint - small mom & pop shop - takes custom cake designs - prefers cash payments **picture: I ordered a white cake with fresh strawberries. Asked for a plain gradient light peach to white textured line design. I placed the roses, candles, and birthday sign myself!

Always have gotten our cakes at TC bakery. This time for my parent's anniversary we got a white vanilla pound cake which my mom loves with mango and strawberry. I send them the exact picture of how we wanted the cake to look like and they indeed recreated that cake. My mom loved it so much. Our guest were all amazed on how beautiful it was and wanted to know where we purchased it. I highly recommend getting your cakes at TC bakery. One thing yesterday was a rainy day and they went out of their way, to not get the cake wet brought it all the way outside for u. Thank you from our family.

So cute and delicious. Best sponge cakes in town.

Best sponge cakes in the area. Owner is so easy to work with. He's polite and understands what you're looking for.

Chocolate banana cars themed cake

AMAZING I placed the order for my sons 2nd birthday and we absolutely loved it! I will definitely be ordering from here for every occasion!! I unfortunately forgot to take a picture so it's just a zoom in on a family photo but it was chocolate banana cake and it was decorated Cars themed. Thank you for helping us make our sons day more special!

Same day cake made! Life savers! Cakes are very fluffy and light! Whipped topping is also very good ( note it is sweet). Came here to get a bday cake for my godson. Very pretty (I added Bluey toys). Definitely get a fruit inside.

Delicious light fluffy sponge cake and excellent service! Found this place on yelp last minute. My friend's hubby didn't know where to get wife's bday cake for 80s themed party the next day. Morning of the party, I found this amazing mom and pop bakery that will take orders same day with at least 2-3 hours notice. It's located in a plaza with the Northgate Market so free parking. Small front area, very little on display but it was 5pm when I was there. They had a steady stream of people picking up. When I called to order, they worked with me on customizing cake and fillings. The young girl in front, probably the daughter, also let me text her ideas and inscription. They accept credit cards! no deposit over the phone was needed. Pick up did take about 15 min because they didn't do the inscription before I got there- probably in case I didn't come. And the fruit tarts are preorder only and they assembled them when I got there. Everyone loved it all! The fruit tarts were sweet- but not overly! The cakes were great if you don't like too sweet. And these were the lightest Chinese sponge cakes I've ever had... and we have them all the time! They even make a strawberry tres leches that I want to try next time!! Oh and they had the honey butterflies that I haven't had since I was a kid- sorry no picture because I ate it in the car!

Vanilla cake with crispy center

The cakes here are soooo good... especially the one with the crispy center... it's not too sweet and the cake is so spongy ... I just ordered one recently and my friends are requesting me to order more for upcoming birthdays...

We just cut the cake and looked what my 6 yr old found in her cake!!! I'm reporting this!!! Plastic and metal inside the cake!

Hi By chance would you be able to do a two tier geode cake with a marble inside?

Hi, by geode, do you mean like the rocks? It would be difficult for us to make it via fondant. If you have any designs you’re interested in, you can come visit our store so we can check it out and see if can make it.

What's the smallest size of the mil hojas cake I can order? The one I usually order is way too big for my event. Thank you.

Hi, our smallest size is the 1/4 sheet. This one feeds 15-20 people! Hope this helps!

Can we come to shop to see what cakes are offered?

Yes! We do walk-ins, but prefer orders via the phone. Feel free to come in and order too!

Hi, how much is for a 6inch mango cake with the crispy flakes inside?

Hi, we actually don’t add crispy flakes inside a mango cake!

Can you make a Mickey Mouse chocolate cake?

Yes we can. Please dm our inbox for more details. Thank you!

Hi yes I would go in person but at the moment I'm quarantined. Would it be able to make a cake in the shape of a specific dragon?

Hello! Yes, we do custom cake orders. If you want one, you can call us. However, it’s better if you come in person.

Second Visit & Still Such a Fun Dessert Spot!…read more This was our second visit here, and once again the service and ambience were very welcoming. It's a smaller dessert spot with about 3-4 tables available, but it gives off a cozy and chill vibe that we really enjoyed. This time we got the half-and-half milk and ube ice cream with taiyakis filled with: * taro * red bean * custard * cheesecake * nutella And honestly... I was really surprised that the cheesecake filling was actually delicious! Creamy, smooth, and definitely something I'd order again. The taiyaki itself was warm with that nice slight crisp on the outside, and paired perfectly with the ice cream. Overall, such a fun spot for dessert and definitely a must-try if you're craving taiyakis and ice cream. Happy eats!

I ordered the pineapple Dole whip and it was SO GOOD. The baked fish was filled with custard and enjoyable too. There are a few a few tables and chairs inside, but be ready to eat your treat outside. I am looking forward to returning and try other flavors.

The location itself is super small and at times cramped depending on how crowded the events were. I did enjoy the tofu pudding here, but I do admit that their drinks could have been better. Did I ever go out of my way to get the drinks here? No. But did I come out here because they helped and played such a vital role in building a community? Hell yes. Thank you so much for the memories

I was hoping to have my own AE86 built and ready when I finally stopped by, but maybe for the new location. As an honest critique of the actual storefront, the appearance and decor is very charming. In a very bright, Japanese themed cafe kind of way. But because this is an Initial D themed drink and snack spot, I can see this being a place where mostly guys use this place as a meet-up hub. Especially for a small car meet. Very niche right? Especially for the dying breed of 1980's 1990's - 2000's JDM cars. That said, how many guys in the city could you actually get to come here regularly for soy and soy-based accessories, drinks, and snacks? The dessert was okay, and I wasn't in love with the drinks. Light, tofu refreshing, but not captivating. Personally, the menu doesn't appeal to me, since I try to avoid soy since it tends to be a pro-estrogen consumable. I don't think they had to box themselves in into being a purely tofu-only cafe. They could sell tofu products, and also have something simple but repeatedly addictive; like In-n-Out, Wurstkuche, Howling Ray's, Tea Master Matcha Cafe, Savoy, Langer's, etc. The closest idea I can think of that would be forced into tofu would be like really excellent, authentic mabo tofu, agedashi tofu, or like a karaage or Tokyo fried chicken style fried chicken with a mabo tofu dipping sauce, heavy on the ma-la flavors. Hell, I might even stop by more if they imported more car parts, from like Impulse, TRD, or Apex'i. But the way the AE86 market is, it makes more sense to sell online to the global niche. Wonderful atmosphere and mood for the Initial D/MF Ghost/Subaru to Subaru fandom. It was fun just to follow on instagram and catch a glimpse of all the influencer personalities in the car community stopping by. I'll look forward to what their next Project T(ofu) looks like. See you next time, Space (cow) boy. Oh-oh-oh. I need you babe.

I've also tried the mango coconut shake and that threw me off at first bc it only tasted like a mango shake bc that was concentrated all the way at the bottom. I didn't taste the coconut until later and then it got good. I've also tried their kaya toast with butter and that's pretty tasty as well. I got my mom the coconut calamansi and she loved it. It's usually pretty quiet and empty when I come during the day but on a Friday night, I did see more people hanging out there. I do love that there is seating for people to hang out. Staff are pretty quiet and keep to themselves as they have two digital order stations. So if you have questions, you have to kind of call them to the front and ask. There was a time when my ex was considering opening a Thai restaurant, and we'd go to LAX-C outside of downtown LA to make sure we could get Cha TraMue tea leaves in bulk. I actually like their rose drinks quite a bit too. And their choice of plastic cups are at least more structurally hardy - unlike places like 85'C that have cheaped out into using the softer, malleable plastic cups that have a higher tendency to leach microplastics under heat. I will say, I wouldn't deviate from the sweetness level for Thai tea too much. This location is a bit inconsistent so it'll taste off if you try to go to 70% or 50%. I usually avoid boba, but I make it an exception to get their pandan boba. Although again... sometimes their at this location is inconsistent, and it'll be missing that pleasant, aromatic pandan essence. Plus the they've also been too chicken shit to call out my name. You know, you enter your name: "Fat Boy." But when my order was ready, they'd only say "Boy!" Now I don't feel so guilty tipping only 15% instead of 20%.
