A late evening stop for yummy coconut refreshing drink. Originally tried this at a yelp event and really liked it, so was glad to see it's in my nearby neighborhood. It was easy to order on the self ordering kiosk. There are plenty of choices and low sugar options and there's staff standing by in case you need help. The drinks came out fairly quick. There's a fun vibe with cute coconut characters, tropical setting cartoon art on the walls and fun music playing in the background.

The location is in the front part of the plaza. It took me and my friends a bit to find it. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and the sign in the front wasnt lit. They have 2 self kiosks to place your orders on. The music that they played was hard. We felt like we were in a rave with the younger generations, lol. They had a couple of 4 seating table tops inside and the drinks were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and we were definitely feeling the raving scene, lol. I had a great time with my friends and we had enough places for our party to sit, so that's a plus! Great place for large groups. Im rating this a 3 because I had an allergic reaction to one of their drinks. I made sure I didnt get anything I was allergic to, but Idk what happened, maybe cross contamination? I didnt call to notify because they were already closed and I havent called. If I do return, it wont be for a drink. Update: someone reached out to me after reading my review and is investigating the incident. So im going to change my review to 4.

Coconut Shake and Coconut Water with Sugarcane & Coconut Meat - so delicious
    Christy C.

They're open daily 12-8pm Ordered Doordash because they are having a promotion - 25% off (up to $8) - add $12 to apply! My order came pretty fast - under 30 min! Menu has a good variety of coconut drinks, as well as tasty snacks! Pricing is reasonable and most drinks are $6-7+. The Premium Coconut Shake ($6.50) and it was very delicious! It's made with coconut water and lots of yummy coconut! Loved that it was not too sweet and it was so creamy! I was surprised it came with so much coconut! Definitely really enjoyed this drink! The Coconut Water with Sugarcane & Coconut Meat ($7.50) was amazing! It was so refreshing and not too sweet even without ice and sugar adjustments! It came with lots of coconut and the coconut was very soft, fresh, and tasty! Definitely recommend!

Qing Bu Liang with Coconut Water (Craft-Your-Own Coconut Dessert)

Coconut & Co never misses. I usually order the purple rice dessert because it's warm and perfectly creamy and just the right level of sweetness--not overpowering at all, like a cozy blanket in desert form. Today I decided to switch it up and tried the Qing Bu Liang with coconut water, and wow... so refreshing, flavorful, and wonderfully coconuty. It's the kind of dessert that feels light yet satisfying. On top of that, the staff has been consistently personable and kind every single visit, which makes the experience even better. This is one of those spots you keep coming back to and happily recommend to others.

There's a very popular coconut shake chain in Singapore that this shake comes decently close to. Not too sweet, slushy texture, and gula Melaka together make a great sweet treat. The Kaya toast was nice and crispy and had great authentic flavor. The chiffon cake was light, fluffy and fragrant. The store was empty when I visited so I hope more people will come try.

    Signature Premium Coconut with boba

WELCOME TO ALHAMBRA, Coconut & Co.!!! I am beyond excited for this move and honestly so happy to see them in their new location. Their premium coconut shake truly deserves its name because it is absolutely delicious and one of those drinks you keep thinking about long after you finish it. This place is seriously such a gem, the kind of spot you almost want to gatekeep, but it is just too good not to share. What makes it even better is the warmth behind it all. The owner is so kind, charming, humble, and genuinely easy to talk to, and every interaction we have had here has been just as lovely. We first met them at a couple Lunar New Year festivals in the San Gabriel Valley, so it feels extra exciting to now celebrate their new storefront in Alhambra. The premium coconut shake is my personal favorite, but there are so many other delicious options too, like the mango coconut, strawberry coconut, and the coconut shake with boba. Everything feels refreshing, flavorful, and made with care. So yes, I am officially obsessed and very, very happy they are here. Enjoy!

Super nice staff and family owned shop. Coconut dessert shop with all things coconut flavored. Store with cute coconut designs. Unfortunately the drinks were underwhelming but the desserts were good. I got the coconut sugarcane drink which was refreshing and had a concentrated sugarcane flavor. The coconut avocado shake was very bland and icy. Little to no coconut or avocado flavor mostly just milk and ice flavor. Subtle avocado flavor but think they use powdered instead of actual avocado since there was no green color in the drink. The Kaya pandan toast was average. Just toast with Kaya pandan and a slab of butter. The coconut pudding had good texture and coconut flavors. Staff let us sample the purple sticky rice and it was my favorite there. Plenty of parking in this plaza and this place has seatings inside. Looks like they're expanding their menu to have baos but got plenty of other desserts shops to try before coming back here.

I ordered the Avocado Coconut Shake with Coconut Sugar (Large - $6.95) with Young Coconut Meat (additional 75 cents). As I sipped, I found myself shaking in excitement. "It's delicious!" I'd scream. This smoothie-like beverage is refreshing, unique, and flavorful. The flavor of fresh, tender avocado is very apparent. The coconut came silky, satisfying, and thirst quenching. And its coconut sugar brought a memorable jolt of sweetness. However, if you're sensitive to sugar be wary. That sugar is strong; I left with an unexpected surge of jittery energy. Regardless, I experienced unadulterated joy at Coconut & Co (San Gabriel). I arrived at Coconut & Co (San Gabriel) on Thursday (around 1:10PM). Parking is very simple and convenient since this plaza had an underground parking structure. I quickly found parking. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I was greeted with a bright smile. And I genuinely appreciated how staff took initiative to offer help on answering any questions and offering recommendations. This location has two self-service kiosks. Ordering was easy. I selected my beverage and options; I inserted my name; and I inputted my cell phone number. As mentioned, I ordered the Avocado Coconut Shake with Coconut Sugar (Large - $6.95) with Young Coconut Meat (additional 75 cents). The drink was finished in five minutes and four seconds. As mentioned prior, I happily enjoyed my beverage. The flavors felt distinct; its ingredients all tasted fresh; and the composition felt well-balanced. The drink did not taste frugal nor cheap; rather, the drink felt generous in portion-size and flavor. This drink was prepared thoughtfully and carefully. Delicious! Concerning ambiance, Coconut & Co (San Gabriel) is well-maintained, very clean, and well-ventilated. The cartoon coconut artwork is adorable and vibrant. The floors and tables are shiny and spotless. And I enjoyed the chill ventilation as I sipped my cold, smooth beverage. The music is also very calm and soothing. Coconut & Co (San Gabriel) is also surprisingly spacious. Its outside plaza looked dim and dingy; however, Coconut & Co (San Gabriel) felt chirpy and comfy. I felt very welcomed. Overall, I found joy at Coconut & Co (San Gabriel). This location is absurdly delicious. If you love coconuts, this is a must-try. I enthusiastically recommend. 4.9 out of 5

I ordered an Ube coconut shake, and it was just freezing (freaking) delicious! I would definitely recommend this to other people and for them to give it a try. Of course, there are lots of other options, but that drink just caught my attention. It was also a hot day, so why not. The service was quick, fast and deficient. They made it with love. The ambiance here was quiet when I came in and it was well lit and very clean. Would definitely recommend this place and for YOU! to give it a try!

Cute interior! On a hot day, these chairs should have been packed with customers!

9/03/2025: Our first visit to this cute little shop at the recommendation of a Vietnamese server from a favorite restaurant in SFV. She's in the area weekly and shared that this is a regular stop! Let me start with a HUGE shoutout to Thelly (pronounced Telly) who is a ray of sunshine, has so much energy and goes above and beyond to be helpful and engaging with a first timer! If she's not already a Manager, she should be. The shop is so cute.. the AC works well and it was immaculate! Even the bathrooms were clean.. always a huge plus. Thelly started by offering us samples of their all natural, unsweetened coconut juice. Delicious! We were surprised by the flavor and natural sweetness. She walked us through the various menu options and then shared a sample of the natural coconut sugar they use to sweeten the drinks. Shut the front door, this stuff is delicious, and I'd use it as a syrup on pancakes, crepes or waffles instead of maple if I had it! She is so proud of everything they offer, I asked her if she was the owner and she giggled as she said she only works there. What a gem! I decided my first foray would be an Avocado Coconut Shake with Coconut Sugar, add Young Coconut Meat. That was a Thelly tip, and I'm glad I listened to her! The drink is cold and refreshing, and didn't have an overpowering avocado flavor. She says they use real ingredients and not the powders some places use for drinks. I loved it! It's not overly sweet (American husband would have preferred more sweet, I'll remember that next time) and we both loved that silky smooth coconut meat. So tender! We will definitely be back to explore other items on the menu. I wish we didn't live SO far away or we would be visiting Thelly more often! Locals, don't sleep on this little gem. Come in and prepare to be amazed!

Regular size with half a cup of ice (some melted already).
    Jennifer N.

The drinks were just okay, nothing that made me think wow I need to come back. I love coconut water + sugarcane drinks. Their version had more sugarcane juice than coconut and I prefer the opposite. The coconut meat was an additional $0.75. It was nice that it was chopped. However, the drink with the coconut meat was $7 for a regular size and about half my cup was ice. The large coconut shake was better value, but again, just an okay drink. The interior was clean (and empty) and chill. It was nice that the music wasn't super loud so we were able to have conversations without feeling like we had to speak extra loud. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone wanted to go I wouldn't mind.

Cute little coconut beverage/snack shop that offers all ways possible to enjoy a coconut drink or snack. They have a couple of savory food items as well. I tried the coconut shake and it was good. Flavor on point and blended well. They have searing inside and staff were friendly.

I visited Coconut & Co close to they opened for the day on a random Monday afternoon. They share a plaza with a lot of other stores and a few restaurants. The parking lot extends very far back and there's additional parking underground, so I was able to find parking easily. I went in and there were no guests inside but it seemed like the staff were already preparing orders. I ordered on a kiosk which was very easy and waited around 10 minutes for my entire order. They have a lot of bar seats along the wall for you to sit at while you wait or tables inside for you to eat at. The beef rendang gua baos were very good. They had a good amount of soft meat and tasted great with the accompanying spicy sauce. It was my first time trying kaya toast and I was surprised at how simple it was. There isn't a lot of spread but it has the right amount of sweetness to balance the butter. It was small but a good snack. I preferred the pandan kaya toast over the classic toast. I also tried the mango coconut milk with agar boba. It was one of the new menu items and it was okay. It could have been creamier. The coconut milk seemed very diluted and the mango portion tasted a bit unripe. I like traditional mango sago and I think the texture of agar boba in this drink clashed with the sago and wasn't enjoyable due to how watery the drink was. Overall, the food wasn't bad and my drink was refreshing enough on a hot day. If I were to go back, I'd definitely skip the mango agar drink and try their other beverages as they sounded enticing.

Since it was busy and we knew it would take a while so we browsed the other retail businesses nearby. I noticed how considerate the staff was, as she waited for us to come back to dispense our soft serve ice cream, so it doesn't get soggy. It was much appreciated. I also notice that they premade some taiyaki shells for the soft serve ahead of time to cool so it doesn't melt the ice cream, but it lacks the warmness of a fresh taiyaki that the regular taiyakis have. I'm glad we got both to experience the best of both worlds. I can definitely see us coming back when we're in the area since we enjoyed the treats and the service is so considerate. Excited to try the new flavors they have in the future.

Dinner isn't officially over until we grab ice cream here. It just hits every single time. I'll admit something though -- I am extremely loyal when it comes to flavors. Once I like something, I stick to it forever. But lately I've been trying to step outside my comfort zone a little. One of my long-time favorites here is the Milk & Cereal flavor. It's simple but so good. Recently though, they introduced a Biscoff/ Cookie Butter flavor, and wow... that one is absolutely to die for. Last night they also had a Lunar New Year cookie flavor, which was surprisingly delicious, and then I saw Dubai Chocolate on the menu. Now I'm usually not a chocolate person, but if you put the word Dubai in front of it... suddenly I'm interested. Hubby and I always share, so we ordered two scoops: Cookie Butter and Dubai Chocolate for about $7.50 plus tax. * Cookie Butter - 9/10 * Dubai Chocolate - 7.5/10 (it kind of reminded me of a mint chocolate chip texture... just without the mint) * Added Captain Crunch cereal on top and wah-laaa* The shop itself is nice and cozy. There are a few tables inside and a couple outside -- probably around four total -- and the space feels welcoming and relaxed. Service is always friendly and efficient. Even when there are 8-10 people in line, don't worry -- the line moves fast and you're usually in and out pretty quickly. If you're finishing dinner in Alhambra and craving something sweet, this spot always delivers. Happy eats!
