I normally go for more traditional, simple tea shops and this is probably the opposite of that. Everything has many ingredients. I decided to try the fruit melody instead of the other ones and it was fantastic. While the drink is about $10, it's the size of two normal drinks. It's a bucket - it literally has a handle which is hysterical. The fruit was very fresh and I watched the workers put extra work to making it delicious. It's in the details. I watched them muddle the lime, stir it all together, and wipe off the bucket to ensure it was not wet or sticky for the customer. I got the yuca grand slam and it a one of a kind drink! Not too sweet. The yuca gave a nice texture along with the boba. I got the taro jasmine milk tea and my brother got the peach milk tea and both drinks had real fruit inside! The bobarista was also very communicative about what substitutions we could have in the drink (I opted for jasmine milk tea instead of normal milk tea and it was delicious)! Although the dining area was closed, we were still super excited about the decorations hanging around the store, it was very cute. Customer service was horrible, from the moment we walked in until we left no one acknowledged our existence in the store. Upon entering, there was no one in line to order and all of the staff left us standing there waiting. We should have took it as a sign to just leave. But instead we saw a screen to place your own order , so we did just that and sat down to wait for our order. An older couple walks in and the staff ( young girl with bleach blond hair w/ dark roots) starts talking / helping them right away in their language . She was talking to them for a while ( probably 7-10 mins passed) . The place was pretty empty and our order was taking longer than anticipated. After the staff is done talking to this older she starts making an order, we think oh great this must be ours since we were next customers waiting, big fat nope !!! After finishing making the order she hands their drink to them! My fiancé walks up to mention we having been waiting for ours a while , The whole time this rude staff was ignoring us and talking to the couple that came in after us our drinks have been sitting on the counter only when we asked us when she handed our drinks to us. Never again with this place. I won't even get into reviewing the drinks we got , not worth it for the bad customer experience. Never in my life have I had this horrible of an experience. This place is officially my favorite drink shop I. Rosemead! I happened to stop by this place when I visited my mechanic last summer. Since then every time I have to go out there, I stop by. What got me hooked is their peach season. It uses fresh white peach it reminds me of Japan. I sadly realized it is only served around summer time and discontinued around fall. I believe they also serve kyoho grape flavors during summer. My next favorite is their popular mango sago drink. This flavor is cool because they have your snack combo where you can buy fries with that particular drink. I think you can pair it with 4 of their popular drink and mango sago is one of them. I feel like they do their fresh fruits right! Persimmons come during winter. It's super cool they rotate in season but also sad when that time of year is gone. Lucky Fruitea is in the Popeye strip mall. Parking was a bit of a challenge but not impossible when I went on a Sunday afternoon. Ordering is done from the kiosk and I got the Mashed Taro Milk Tea with Jasmine Milk, less sugar and my friend ordered the Pistachio Strawberry Milk Tea. I also ordered the Mango Sago Pomelo to go. All 3 drinks were delicious! The drinks were big-each cost $7.50. The mango drink was super bright and refreshing. The taro was a bit heavier, milkier and creamier but yummy just the same-I loved all the different textures and the bobas were soft.
