Heard good things about their drinks so finally tried it while I was in the area. I ordered through the Hungry Panda app since they had a coupon that made it cheaper or else it would be kind of pricey. I ordered the Cheesy Mango Smoothie with less sweet. They have a small storefront with only two or three tables so it's more of a grab and go boba store. The drink was ready in around 5 minutes and it was super easy to pick up. I really liked the drink. The blended mango smoothie tasted very fresh and not artificial. And the taste of mango and cheese foam goes so well together. My friends like this spot so I decided to try it out on a Sunday. There is plenty of parking underground. Ordering is easy on their kiosk and there is a screen that shows the status of your drink. 4.5 stars Personality-wise, I'm definitely team milk teas. HOWEVER, ICI has changed my mind for the better! On a Friday night, I was wandering around Alhambra craving something fresh and juicy. I thought about trying Auntea Jenny's fruit juices, but saw the long line and chose to go to ICI instead. These were the drinks I got: Muscat grape & Kale iced tea ($7.60): Delicious and tasted healthy. I could taste the grape and kale, but surprisingly, the tea was so light that I couldn't taste it. Additionally, I slept well, which makes me wonder if it was decaf? 4.5/5 stars Jumbo Fruit Tea ($9.99): this tea cup was gigantic and filled with fresh fruit and jelly. I got regular sugar and I thought it was good the next day after all the ice had melted. I ate the watermelon the night I got it b/c I was worried it would be too soggy the next day. Unfortunately, watermelon isn't in season yet, so it was like munching on cucumbers :(. Otherwise, the mango and jelly was great...the only other downside might be the passionfruit seeds. I'm not the biggest fan of crunchy drinks. I would still get this on a hot summer day. 4/5 stars Buying 2 drinks came with a reusable tote, which was very cute. The drinks were all really good and they seemed like they used real fruits. Felt the 牛油果冰沙 or Mango Avocado Smoothie was heavy on the cream though. Saw a lot of people ordered the 羽衣青提 or Kale & Muscat for $7.95. Would be curious to try that next time. The paintings and color pattern of the walls were something that I would have chosen in my imaginary cafe shop too. I tried the watermelon coconut milk and it was amazing! I've been a loyal regular customer of the ICI Cheesy Peach Smoothie drink，loved it so much. But my experience today was absolutely disgusting. When I was sipping and biting into what I thought was peach pulp, I felt a hard, crunchy texture that was clearly not fruit flesh. I spit it out right away and found a fly inside the drink. I felt nauseous and gagged immediately. This is a serious food safety and hygiene issue. I'm extremely disappointed. As a long-time fan, I used to trust this shop's hygiene standard a lot. Finding a fly in my drink is really off-putting. They allow for customization at the kiosk as well. because we ordered 3 drinks, they packed it into a cooler bag for us! the strawberry mochi drink was really good, it had that chewy mochi inside and I believe they used real strawberry because it did not have that artificial strawberry flavor, and it was not that sweet. the mango drink was also just as good. no mochi but the taste is what I would have expected it to be, The persimmon coconut drink was also not sweet as well and there were large persimmon chunks. Pretty good if you are looking for a persimmon forward drink! I would say that the drinks aren't really that cold when they came out so we actually put them in the fridge when we got home. I would say they are a little bit above lukewarm at best. These drinks are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the Quarter Pound Mango Fruit Tea ($7.50 - Regular Sweet - Less Ice). It's mango, jasmine green tea, milk, and tea jelly. It's enjoyable. The drink is clean, fresh, and good quality. I arrived at ICI Tea Drinks (San Gabriel) on Friday (around 11:46AM). Parking is convenient since there's a big underground parking lot. The sign states, "2 Hours Only." Staff interaction is minimal. Customers are encouraged to use the clean self-service kiosk. I disliked how I needed to insert my cell phone number to proceed; however, I appreciated how this kiosk printed paper receipts. Customers input their name, and a flat screen TV displays and announces when your drink is ready. My drink took 11 minutes and 44 seconds. That's slow. I appreciated the Quarter Pound Mango Fruit Tea ($7.50 - Regular Sweet - Less Ice). There's no "wow factor," but it's refreshing and thirst quenching. I enjoyed the gentle flavor of mango; I liked the fresh aftertaste of crisp tea; and I appreciated the clean mango bites & playful jellies. It's somewhat generic, but it's thoughtfully crafted with good quality ingredients. At the very minimum, it's pleasant. Regarding ambiance, ICI Tea Drinks (San Gabriel) has utility. There's five electrical outlets. There's customer internet with password; the information is displayed on a hanging plaque. It's also very clean with well-swept floors and shiny tables. However, ICI Tea Drinks (San Gabriel) is popular. It gets crowded in quick bursts. In one moment, it's cramped. Then, several minutes later, it becomes empty. There's four tables. In addition, there's no restroom; however, there's a hand sanitizer bottle for customers. It's well-ventilated, bordering on chilly. The music is also upbeat and soft. Overall, I had a good experience at ICI Tea Drinks (San Gabriel). Although this visit felt fairly unmemorable, there's an appreciation for its clean, fresh, & good quality ingredients. Delicious! I ordered the coco persimmon less sugar (recommended when I ordered on the kiosk) and the mango coco smoothie which was fantastic. Both were delicious and very refreshing. The recommendation for the persimmon drink was no sugar because it was plenty sweet from the fruit. I am typically so not a fruity drink type and generally prefer boba or milk tea (which they have too) but these real fruit flavors and fruit purées/fruit chunks were really yummy. I can't get over it. What a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this place. We came here after first going to Molly tea which of course is amazing but the drink offerings are very different. It was super chill and not too crowded but had customers the whole time we were there. Cute Christmas tree was decorated by the window and my daughter enjoyed admiring all the ornaments on it. Parking here can be tough because of a shared plaza with plentiful of popular shops, street parking is accessible and a underground parking lot as well, all free parking. Lot the variety of options here, it's pretty much endless. As stated, ICI Tea is majority fruit teas and my wife and I decided on two drinks. 1. Quarter Pound Mango ($7.50) Great drink option, if you like mango sago drinks, this is very similar, maybe even better. Mangoes were fresh and this drink is definitely a recommendation on my end. Super refreshing and just can't go wrong with the drink. 2. Cheesy Watermelon Smoothie ($7.60) Usually I don't put cheese atop of my drinks, but I wanted to try it to see how I would feel about it, this drinks is definitely a surprise to me. The drink itself is just a watermelon juice drink with cheese. Mixes pretty well with the watermelon, although you don't really taste the cheese mix until later (or swirl it a good amount.) I would recommend this drink if you're feeling creative, very delicious. Overall, a wonderful drinks shop, it's a nice change of pace from my usual milk tea based drinks and ICI Tea didn't disappoint at all. I finally tried ICI Tea, as part of my mission to visit all the Valley Blvd tea/boba spots. They're located inside a plaza with chicha and soon-to-open Macu tea. The interior and art are very cute. They have a kiosk where you can order and seating inside where you can wait. I got the persimmon orange tea and it was so delightful! They have real persimmon and orange pieces inside the drink and the orange was very sweet. I loved the flavor but the pieces of fruit were impossible to suck up the straw because they were so large. This place is so slept on!! I've tried their quarter pound mango drink, which has a LOAD of fresh mangos blended in there w/ jelly and its amazing. If you like mangoes or mango pomelo sago, pls try it you wont regret it. I get it less sweet and it's honestly perfect. Don't walk.. RUN! We were in a nearby area for dinner and all of the tea spots on our street looked subpar but saw that this was a mere 10 minutes away. We ordered the Mango Passionfruit Iced Tea and their Orange Mango Iced Tea. For both, we had opted out for less sweet and added tea jelly. That tea jelly was delicious! Both drinks had a very generous amount of cut up ripe mango which was extremely sweet. The orange one was the best out of the two but the passionfruit one was also spectacular. I've been to many boba tea spots and this place had the best tea base, HANDS DOWN. I don't say this often but this place is BOMBDOTCOM! Price is a little high especially with additional toppings but well worth every penny. Ordering is very easy and made at a kiosk on the left. Interior area is quite small but has several tables available. Parking is a bit small but there's additional parking in a lower level garage. Got their Jumbo Fruit Tea and Sumo Iced Tea. - Jumbo Fruit Tea: At 100% sweetness, it was good for me, but I think I could have scaled it down to 'less sweet' (they don't have percentages on sweetness adjustments) and still like it. This would be a great refreshing drink if you like fruit teas or if it's a hot day! Although, for $9-10, I can't see myself coming back often despite it being a good drink. There is a separate item here that looks identical to this drink called Signature Fruit Tea, which is $7-8 and without their automatic inclusion of house tea jelly. However, if you wanted to try their jelly, it's more worth to just get the Jumbo Fruit Tea where the inclusion is automatically included for a larger amount of tea versus adding it to the Signature Fruit Tea for about $2 extra that makes it into essentially the same price of the Jumbo Fruit Tea. - Sumo Iced Tea: At regular sweetness, it's more like juice with a hint of tea. If that's what you prefer, then it's perfect as is, but like the other drink, less sweetness might be a nicer balance if you're not a big sweet tooth. Very refreshing! The drinks taste incredible and they make them very fast. We've come here twice and enjoyed the drinks a lot both times. The music is also good. If you're going to get the Jasmine green tea it recommends getting it "less sweet" but it was a bit bitter so I'd recommend getting the regular sweetness on that drink. I stopped by iCI Tea since I was craving a cold drink. After heading inside, I ordered their kiosk and ordered a mango avocado smoothie (regular ice, regular sweetness with agar boba). The order only took a few minutes to be ready. The drink was good and refreshing. The slices of mango tasted very fresh and it paired well with the avocado. This store was pretty small on the inside and had a few seats available. For parking, there is a lot on the ground level, but it was full when I went at night.
