    Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea
    Jessica G.

TP Tea and its further expansion into Arcadia! Still on its soft opening, but has certainly been a hit delivering the crowd. Service was speedy despite their online pre-order wasn't open yet. Huge cup size and I did wish there's smaller option available. Another cozy minimalist spot to hang just added in the east. Nevertheless, their Tie Guan Yin's still my kyrptonite that kept drawing me back to it despite the desire to try something new LOL. So fragrant tea flavor with just right creaminess. Did have a sip on my husband's Taiwan Milk Tea and my mind hasn't changed especially for the tea flavor. Their QQ jelly was interesting tho coming in long shape and super chewy texture.

Tried TP Tea in Arcadia and we got the strawberry matcha and brown sugar boba. We ordered both half sweet, and honestly, it was perfect! The drinks were really good, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean and inviting. I think they just opened, but they're already off to a great start. I'll definitely be stopping by again whenever I'm in the Arcadia area!

Ordered the Tie Guan Yin (aka Iron Goddess) Milk Tea with Boba with no ice and 50% sweetness. I chose it because it is one of their recommended teas. Personally I didn't think the tea was very strong. In fact, it was not really giving Tie Guan Yin for me. It tasted like the milk masked the floral notes. I give it 4/5. The boba was not bad, though. It was slightly chewy and on the al dente side. If you like your boba with a bit more of a bite, then you might like it. Service was fantastic. I came on the second day of their soft opening and there was a line but it went quickly. The service representative was very knowledgeable and answered my questions regarding which drinks will not be full if I chose no ice. The milk teas will be filled if you get no ice, but some of the fruit teas if not all of them will have a gap if you get no ice. The interior has some seats available for you to enjoy indoor, but they are spaced very closely. I might come back and try a different drink next time.

    Lychee Fruit Tea no aloe.

I ordered the lychee Fruit tea with aloe, they ran out of aloe and offered lychee jelly (nothing too different than other shops). I also tried a milk tea with boba, the boba was flavorful and not too chewy (fresh!) but the tea wasn't strong, felt a little weak for me. Overall was not memorable drinks for me. Maybe their other drinks are great, will need to try again to make an assessment.

Been anticipating this spot for months, and the wait was well worth it! I came during their soft opening, and it was busy but well-staffed. Some items weren't available at the time which is understandable for a soft opening. No soft opening specials offered at this time. I ordered a Taiwan Classic Milk Tea 50% sugar with boba, QQ noodles, and grass jelly. My boyfriend ordered a TGY Family Milk Tea 50% with coffee jelly. Light ice for both. Textures and flavors were great, and portion size is good for the price. The drinks are a bit heavy for me (I need a break after a few sips), so I recommend ordering with less sugar or regular ice to balance it out. Parking is easy to find in the dedicated lot. Location is good, close to the 210 freeway and other businesses like Starbucks, ramen shop, etc. There is some seating, but it's more for a casual hangout and/or stop-and-go than a workspace. Friendly staff. I recommend this place and will be back to try out more drinks!

Checked out TP Tea in Arcadia during their soft opening! Overall, the team is running a remarkably smooth operation--the lines moved quickly, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. We ordered two drinks, and while one came out perfectly to order, the other had a quick mix-up (got the Tie Guan Yin milk tea instead of the plain Tie Guan Yin tea). Completely understandable for a soft opening, and honestly, the drink was still delicious! Drinks came out on time, and you can tell the staff is working hard. Really impressed with how well-organized they are right out of the gate. Looking forward to making this a regular spot!

Came during the first day of soft opening and tried the Jasmine Green Milk Tea and the Fantastic Fruit Tea. The Jasmine Green Milk Tea at 30% sweetness was my favorite--it was refreshing, creamy, and had a nice jasmine flavor without being overly floral. The sweetness level was perfect for me. Next time I'll definitely add boba! Although refreshing, I wasn't as big a fan of the Fantastic Fruit Tea. It ended up being a bit too sweet for me, though they had run out of the Sunshine Fruit Tea and substituted it with another option, so they may still be working out the recipe and sweetness may have been 100% instead of the requested 50%. But the staff member was very friendly :) Overall, I'm already a fan of TP Tea, so I'm excited to finally have a location in the SGV! I'll definitely be back to try more drinks. Parking was easy with plenty of free spaces in the lot. Even during the soft opening, there was a steady line, but the staff kept things moving efficiently.

Yum, we ordered the Tie Guan yin milk tea with tea jelly (50% sweet). It was the perfect sweetness and the tea tasted really nice and earthy. Service was quick and efficient. Inside is really nice and clean.

My favorite thing about TPTEA is their QQ noodles!! No other boba shop has it and I'm so glad they finally opened a location in the SGV area. Their tea is also very strong and fragrant.

I ordered Yuzu Emerald Fruit Tea with 30% sweetness, less ice. As always, I love how TP Tea control the quality of their drinks. It tastes the same every time!! I am hooked!!! ( OOPS, I drank half before I can write this review )

S tier bubble tea store for sure. Came during the soft opening and every drink was incredible. The portions are huge at 22 oz, and they have a wide variety of drinks. The interior is large, open and nicely decorated with some benches to lounge. Staff are all very friendly and professional. There take card only, no cash.

OMG YAY TP TEA IS OPEN! I've been keeping my eyes wide open every time I drive by, I'm so happy it's open! The space is very clean and nice. I got the tieguanyin milk tea 15% sweet (I love that they offer 15% sweet!) with pudding. It's a pretty creamy milk tea drink and was actually sweeter than I anticipated so I'm glad I didn't get above 15%. Tiffany had great customer service, as did all the other staff members. I cannot wait to try more and more drinks!!! Update: I tried the strawberry milk tea with boba, 0% sweet and it's sooo good! I love how their boba is quite small!!!

strawberry blended milk tea w pudding 0% sugar

So happy that my favorite Chinatown Vegas boba spot is finally in Arcadia! I've been a huge fan of TP Tea, so I was really happy to see one open closer to home! Unfortunately, today's drink came with a little extra that I definitely did NOT order. I was drinking my usual strawberry blended milk tea with pudding 0% sugar when I felt something weird in my mouth and had to spit it out. It turned out to be a bright blue, hard piece of plastic, almost like a stiff brush bristle or polypropylene/sack thread. Thankfully I noticed it before swallowing, but finding a hard piece of plastic in a drink is obviously pretty concerning. I had already left by the time I realized exactly what it was, so I wanted to flag it here in hopes that the team can look into their prep/cleaning equipment and make sure this doesn't happen again. Really unfortunate because I genuinely love TP Tea and was so excited to finally have a location in Arcadia. Hopefully this was just a one-off!

For a shop that charges premium prices for its drinks, I expected a much better customer experience. The barista's tone came across as dismissive and irritated, which made the interaction even more unpleasant. I still enjoy Chi Cha San Chen as a brand, but this visit was disappointing enough that I definitely won't be before returning to this location.

The quality of their teas are also regarded as high-quality as you can taste the genuine tea fragrances in the drink despite the added milk or toppings. They have unique tea flavors and toppings that differentiates them from so many other boba houses in the 626 area. 1. Pistachio Coconut Velvet (5/5) A summer/seasonal drink that is worth raving about. It's super refreshing from the coconut water, yet creamy and luxurious from the velvety pistachio cream. They are generous with the pistachio bits that they coat on top of the pistachio foam. I devoured this drink it less then 2 minutes and almost went back for a 2nd cup. 2. Tea-cube Special (5/5) This is a simple, yet, satisfying cup of traditional milk tea. It's made from a black tea base + milk + tea-cube topping. The tea-cube is made from fresh tea then made into a jelly cubes. Super creative, yet delicious. It pairs well with almost any milk tea based drinks. 3. Mango Pomelo Sago (4/5) If you like mangos and like fruity drinks, then this is a good choice. It comes with sago toppings, which pairs well with the drink. When it's fresh and icy, it's super refreshing. However, if you wait too long and it melts, the drink can get a bit too sweet. 4. Osmanthus Rice Milk Tea (4.5/5) This drink is a Jasmine tea base with osmanthus rice paste, milk and crystal boba. You certainly can taste the osmanthus flavor. My favorite thing to do is get it with their house-special tea-cubes. My go-to boba place whenever I am in the area.

The interior has a modern and classy feel. There's a tree with everyone's wishes and hopes. The store itself is super clean. The menu was extensive and had so many options. The ordering kiosk displayed all the choices aesthetically and had appropriate descriptions. I liked how you could choose what kind of tea you'd get for some drinks (jasmine or black tea!) The tea cube special sounded unique so I gave it a try. It had a strong tea taste. The tea cubes were squishy and had a firm jelly texture. This drink would definitely fall more towards the chocolatey side. I felt that it was still sweet at 25% sugar, but I'd still get it again! I haven't stopped thinking about the drink since I had it yesterday. Definitely will need to stop by again soon to fix my craving for it.

Unfortunate to say, that one of the baristas isn't. She has short hair, glasses, and tattoos. There are 3 instances with her specifically. Not that I want hate on anyone. Maybe they had a bad day, I get it., But her actions otherwise... First instance. Ordered strawberry latte with mochi. We asked to remove the topping. They did, but it messed up the drink itself. Asked to reblend it. I don't think she liked that. If the drink had mochi and there is a specific way to make the drink, she could've said it would just be less of the drink because there isn't mochi. Wouldn't been fine. Different day, ordered the same thing. She refused to not allow removal of the topping. I guess from what happened last time. She wouldn't budge on it. A different day. Ordered 4 of the bogo. Only 1 party in front of me that ordered. After I ordered, another party ordered after. The location isn't busy. Both got it before I did. The cashier asked if I was still waiting. I said yes and showered my receipt. The barista came out. Looked at the kiosk and did some tattoos and went to the back. Mentioned they are going to check and working on it. After giving my drinks, she said it was because they were brewing the tea. If it's a bogo, normally that tea should be ready since it was offered the whole week. I don't know. It seems a bit deliberate for those who ordered with adjustments. Considering they didn't even bother to mention they were brewing more tea knowing I was waiting. Technically the store would be saving money if we don't order with toppings so I'm not sure what the issue is with this person and tonight considering another review also mentioned a barista who laughed at them for ordering more in front of them. I come to a conclusion there may be something with this person. I understand bad days and hate to think otherwise.

The front of the store has cute seating, and there's also a smaller, almost private, area toward the back near the bathrooms with a little couch and board games, which gives the place even more personality. I'd say the back area with the small couch is more of a first-come, first-served spot. The couch could comfortably fit a group of 4-5 people you came with, or maybe just one couple. Otherwise, it might feel a little awkward sharing such a small space with people you don't know unless you're not socially awkward.
