After hearing many great things about Molly Tea, finally got a chance to try it this store. This location has no parking, so we parked in the adjacent street. This location had both indoor and outdoor sitting area. Inside of the store was very nice with minimalistic design. We used one of the two kiosk to order two drinks. Prices were similar to other boba places. While I was waiting, saw plenty of people walk into the store. Seemed very popular among locals. Despite being little busy, we got our drinks within 5 minutes. I had the mango jasmine smoothie that came with coconut milk, pomelo sago and white boba. All of the ingredients worked so well. It was perfection!!!! I think I finished the whole drink within few minutes.
I have heard so many of my friends talk about how this is their favorite boba spot, so of course I had to try it out. I ordered the Peach Oolong Milk Tea ($6.59) with Brown Sugar Boba ($0.99). When I went only a little bit past noon on a Saturday, there were only maybe 2 groups ahead of me, so I came at the perfect time. It took less than 5 minutes for my drink to be out. They do have the option to order online though so if you want to beat the long wait during peak hours you can also order online and then arrive when it gets closer to your order being ready. The tea was good, but I definitely wouldn't wait 45 minutes for it. I'm also surprised that they don't have milk alternates as options, so that really limits the choices that I have. I'm not sure if I'm just not seeing it on the menu, but there's no option to change the type of milk on the order screen. I only got the milk tea this time because I wasn't doing anything afterwards so I could take the risk with the lactose, but for most other times, I would end up skipping. It's definitely pricey for what it is as well and with the lack of milk alternates I won't be coming by often. The tea was good, but it didn't blow my mind.
Visited Molly Tea for the first time last night and I'm sad to say I was a bit let down. Due to all the hype, I was expecting to be blown away by their drinks. Tea quality was very fresh and I could tell that they used good ingredients. They recommend 75% sweet and this was right on the cusp of not too sweet and not sweet enough. While I wasn't disappointed by this, I also wasn't amazed. The drink was balanced but did not have a strong jasmine flavor that I was expecting. Boba was also an ok texture but leaned more on the soft side. Ordering was made easy using their iPad systems and it was organized well. Sorted by drink style, it was simple enough and prompted you through each modification for ice level, sugar amount, and add on's. Leave your name at the end and opt in for texts to receive updates on your order. I appreciated that they have the option to select nuts or not at the pick up counter and confirmed with guests if it was ok to add the pecans. This added a nice hint of nuttiness and texture to the otherwise 'simple drink'. Plenty of seating to sit around and have an after meal sweet treat. Not sure if I would find myself making a trip out of it to come get a drink here but it was definitely worth the try.
Jack amazing pace and such friendly and positive vibes idk if he's a manager but he's amazing and deserves a raise! Great service and system. I went in so baffled at how packed it was and left. Whined to my mom and she said "well if you wanna try it it's fine I'm not in a rush LOL" so I went back in ordered and I thought it would take forever but it came out around 5-8 mins?! The TV showing in progress and ready def boosted my morale! Lmao And Jack being so friendly def made my first visit memorable. Got the Apple Milk Tea and Gardenia Milk Tea both were delish and I would get it again. Anyone who wants creamy and fruity the Apple one is great! I know that Hey Tea is their highest competitor. That being said I would def come back to Molly because they showcase teas from all the different regions of China. Yunan, Fujian, Siuchan, Fenghuang, etc. I think it was so smart and cool of them to include the regions for all their drinks!!! Plus you get a great tea fragrance and the fruit flavors I'm glad they kept the flower and pink branding as a big F You to LV. Remember kids it's the Tang Flower first, not the LV flower. Idfc if LV patented first LOL
Always a wait here but they move pretty quickly. My friends love the snowy jasmine but it kinda just tastes like milk to me. I tried the Jasmine Apple milk tea and it wasn't bad but not my favorite, probably wouldn't get again. If you like fruity and floral milk teas, definitely try it. It's on the refreshing side and creamy. Small parking lot, but there's street parking in the neighborhood
06/06/26 Saturday Stopped by in the evening and it was quite busy, but no line to order. We ordered, via the Kiosk, a hot Osmanthus Milk Tea. It came out promptly. We selected all the recommended selections. The interior of the store is very modern and spacious with ceiling the floor windows and tall ceiling. There's outdoor seating as well. Milk tea was good but osmanthus could've been a little stronger. I've been wanting to come and see what the hype is about.
I have tried the Molly Tea in Arcadia. My experience there was wonderful. Thought I give this Molly Tea in San Gabriel a try. First time here of course. Outside has limited patio seating with a cute Molly cup statue. Please note parking is very limited at the front of the shop. There are some parking behind the building, but it looks like it's where the employees park because none of the cars were coming out while I was here. Anyway, there is street parking if you're lucky to find some... do read the signages. Now to the interior... WOW, it's quite spacious, bright, and clean! Love the simple and beautiful decor. Lots of inside seating along the windows and walls. Only one all gender restroom for customer use only. Lots of friendly staff behind the counter making drinks and passing them out. Two self-order kiosks available for use. I don't think they take orders at the counter though. Easy to manuever through the kiosk screens. Quite a unique selection of drinks. Prices are decent. Got 4 drinks total and they came out timely. Thought I try something different from last time. I took the recommended 70% sweetness on a couple drinks ... it wasn't a great idea unfortunately because there was no sweetness whatsoever. I'm going to stick with 100% sweetness at least for the 1st time trying a new drink and adjust there after. Just a tip. 1. Premium Jasmine Tea - Hands down amazing jasmine flavor! But due to the 70% sweetness, it was slightly bitter in taste. Need some sugar next time. 2. Snowy Jasmine - Didn't get the jasmine flavor like I did with the Premium Jasmine Tea. Not really sure how I feel about this drink. It was just meh. Just no flavor at all IMHO. 3. Jasmine Mango Smoothie - Now this was the BEST drink out of the 4! Mango in the house. Didn't get too much of the jasmine flavor and that was fine with me. Highly recommend this one and would get it again for sure. 4. Tongmu Lapsang Bubble Tea - My Mom enjoyed this drink. She said tea flavor was good and the boba was soft and chewy. It's a thumbs up in her book! I wanted to try their Pistachio White Champaca Coconut, but they ran out. I guess I'll have to come here early to snatch one of their popular drinks. See you next time Molly!
I was looking for a boba shop with wifi where I could get some work done and my partner found this spot. We arrived around 1:30 on a Saturday. The parking lot was awful. It probably had 3 normal spots, a handicap spot, and two small spots. We did notice there was a bigger parking lot in the back for customer parking, but that probably had another 5-10 spots if you count the spots against the wall. When we entered, I saw there were two kiosks to order. While scanning the place, I also saw there was one open table (they probably had a total of 10), so I jumped on that since I was there to get some work done. My partner ordered me a Premium Jasmine Milk Tea with boba, and he got a mango smoothie. There is a sign above the employee's heads that show the status of each order and I saw that ours was a 4 minute wait. I really like that it showed the wait time, and quite frankly, it was accurate too! When the drinks came, they were good. My milk tea had a strong jasmine flavor (which I like and find impressive when you can taste that in a milk tea), and the boba was sweet and soft. Absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of the drinks, or the service here. My biggest gripe with the establishment was it was so hot in the business. I was sweating from just sitting there filling out paperwork. I also tried to connect to wifi and whenever I selected the Guest Wifi it wouldn't connect. My partner ended up using his hot spot. Because I was looking for a place to get work done, this place simply did not do it for me. This seemed to be more of a hangout and chill with friends type of spot. If I wanted to just grab and go, then maybe I'd come back. However, since this is located in the heart of SGV and there are so many other boba places just as good with better parking, I don't think I'll be back to this location.

Boba is nice and chewy. Packaging is feels high quality and plenty of seating. It's bright inside and also has outdoor seating
Sorry, a friend suggested this place so I deviated from my usual boba shops (Wushiland, Guiji, Half & Half) and I don't get the hype. The wait was long, the drink was meh. Nice decor. The screens with your number was giving me DMV vibes. Won't be back.
The snowy jasmine has been on my list forever. It's all over social media and I've been so excited to try it. Everything is via kiosk so very little interaction. There's plenty of tables inside--not ideal to study, more to catch up and hangout. The drink itself was so disappointing. It truly tasted like iced milk with extra whipped cream on top. I was hoping for a more tea taste but it was way too much milk/cream. Will give it a second shot and try their tea without the cream/milk and will update the review.
Came in for a drink with my daughter. They only got drink here. For me it was an ok drink it was all that great boba didnt taste fresh at all. I had the jasmine tea with boba. My daughter drink was ok as well she had the matcha drink. Service wasn't greeted, you just have to order on kiosk and they get ready. The got a screen on the wall when your number is ready. Ambience has a sitting area and a small table which looks kinda cute.
Loved my first visit here! The iced tea was delicious and clearly high quality, plus the cute complimentary magnet made my day since I love magnets! Parking was a challenge so I parked in the neighborhood. Service was great and they close late which is a major plus!

Drinks r delicious but the ac clearly qas not working and it was very uncomfortable trying to enjoy the drink there in 90+ degree weather. The space inside was so spacious and pretty it would have been nice to enjoy my sips here. Service was fast though. read more
We've heard great stuff about this place and noticed the hype. The hype is well justified. I love floral and fragrant milk tea. This is by far the best I've had. I would take a drive back here just to order the white champaca again. It's just so different compared to other floral and tea forward milk teas. This one has a very fragrant aftertaste that isn't over sweet or too floral. It's just very hard to describe how good this actually is. It's definitely worth the drive and an absolute must try. It absolutely lives up to its hype. The only con is that we don't have one near us, but that could also be a pro because I'm sure I'd be buying here all the time. read more
Why does it look like they're not so busy and when you go inside it is so busy!? You order at the kiosk. They have tables inside and a patio. I got the matcha white champaca salted cheese with sago. The matcha was good and I love the salted cheese topping. I wasn't too much of a fan on the sago. It's different from what I am used to. The Jasmine milk tea which I liked a lot!! It would be even better if there was some sort of salted foam with it. read more

Parking: Limited street parking + parking lot available Ambience: Good amount of space inside with plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors, but always packed, busy, and a bit chaotic Service: Efficient, professional! Taste: Tried the pistachio white champaca coconut, which was delicious and paired nicely with the nuttiness of the pistachios atop. Overall, would recommend if you're willing to wait for a long time / order online ahead of time. read more

Arcadia location is FAR better. My first visit to Molly Tea was the SG location. Submitted my online order at 10:30am with a scheduled pick-up time for 3:15pm. I arrived on-time, anticipating that my drink order would be ready. It was not fulfilled until 1.5 HOURS LATER at 4:45pm. Wasted my time and ruined my plans for that evening. Their drinks are overhyped and not worth the wait. There are MANY better tea spots around the area. read more

Kiosk or cashier ordering * FREE parking: Yes, only 4 car spots right in front (teeny lot), or open street parking on the sides * FYI: A bit chaotic on arrival - there seemed to be no distinct lines upon entering to place order and no large back-wall menu easily discernible while waiting. But basically: 1 line for kiosk ordering, 1 line for cashier ordering. Pickup area shares same long cashier counter and again, bit chaotic... they didn't call out order names either so you had to ask. Loud ambience with music. Visit was on late afternoon, weekend. Molly Tea is the best here. Strong sweet floral flavor from their jasmine milk tea with 30% sweetness. Even at 30% sweet it is still sweet from the floral flavor their drinks are known for having. Kind and efficient staff and they always seem very busy. read more
I thought this was an elegant and fun looking tea spot. The drinks here were delicious as well. I only want to hear a couple months ago, but it looks like the place is permanently closed. :( They might have other locations in the general area. The way to order here was primarily from a kiosk with people helping you out if needed. I came by to grab a drink before meeting some friends for dinner. I ordered a Matcha white champaca salted cheese. The only thing I really knew about this drink was the Matcha part lol. But it looked and sounded amazing so I went with it. It was really good! Interesting flavors for sure. I really enjoyed the drink that I got here. If this place is truly closed it's really sad. Hopefully I could go to another location soon. read more
The hype is no joke. We waited a while for our drinks but well worth it. The best jasmine tea I've ever tried omg. So strong, prominent, smooth, and flavorful. Not overwhelmingly sweet and just perfect. Would highly rec and come back. Prepare to wait in a long line tho lol read more

Between the Arcadia one and this one, the interior of this one is a lot bigger and more spacious. The menus appear to be the same and the drinks taste just as good. Compared to the Arcadia one, it's just as fragrant and delicious. The inside of this one is a bjt better for actually staying at inside the tea shop as there are seats and there are outlets if you want to use a laptop. There is also outdoor seating if you like that. My go to is always the Jasmine Milk Tea with Oat Milk and the consistency is there. Good and delicious as always. Pricing is similar to the Arcadia one but this one doesn't charge sales tax for whatever reason so it's slightly cheaper because of that. The only reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars is because it takes forever to get a drink. Sometimes it's even taken me an hour before I got a drink. Parking for this one is horrendous. There's maybe like 6 parking spots out front if you don't count the handicap spots and it's a really tight parking lot. Your best bet is to park on the street and just walk in. read more
Second time here and Molly seems to be the shop that's consistently busy. They do have a great jasmine milk tea and I tried their jasmine apple milk tea, and it tasted like a mix of jasmine tea and apple juice. Their packaging is so cute which is a big component to their popularity. I do wish they had a better pickup system for people ordering in. Like at least call out the numbers? People are just hovering and asking if their order is ready and guesstimating when they can pick up their drinks. They do send a text when the order is ready, but it's not accurate. It's a solid spot for some quality teas and I like how they have parking available in the front, back, and side streets. read more

I love Molly tea the jasmine milk tea is my favorite from here. It's so fragrant and floral but still very light. The ambience is always really busy at this location, but I love how elegant it is designed and I especially love that they're open until 11 PM such a cool vibe to come catch up with friends over some very high-quality drinks. read more
I got the Double Hazelnut Choco Lava. I thought it was alright. I didn't taste much of the hazelnut and it was more chocolate forward. My wife got the Matcha Jasmine Salted Cheese and the jasmine tea was very floral and I thought it tasted much better. They have a pretty big indoor and outdoor space with lots of places to sit. read more
My sis loves Molly Tea, so she decided to order it after lunch (Sat, 08/08 at approx 2pm). Because of parking issue (no space), my mom ended up going to pickup the drinks, which were already made and packaged inside a bag. We took the drinks out and placed it in our cupholders (inside the car as my sis was driving). Shortly after, I started noticing that my dress was getting wet and so was my mom, turns out my boba's lid was not fully closed and the drink inside was spilling/leaking..... read more

There are very limited parking spots in their lot but there's plenty of street parking nearby which I recommend. Ordering is at the kiosks to the left when you enter and is very quick and easy. You're assigned a number when done and all that's left to do is wait. There are screens that show which orders are being prepared in the queue and which ones are ready. We went on a weekend and there is not much standing room when it gets busy. Most of the tables tend to be taken by people studying (?!) at the shop even though it was crazy packed and very loud/bustling. It's probably a lot more peaceful during the weekend. The drinks were on the expensive side - ~$8 for a regular size which to me was tiny. They seal your drink like most places but also place a multi use cap on the top so a boba straw can be used or you can sip from the cap. Pretty neat! The branding is a Sakura pink and reminiscent of LV's logo. If you order 3+ drinks you get an insulated bag. There's also some merch available for sale too. Overall I liked Molly Tea and would come again if I was in town, but wouldn't go out of my way due to the price point and value. read more

Lines are not too bad in the evenings. You're able to park in the small lot, but street parking is easier. The building is nice and AC'ed but more for a social space than studying. There's a courtyard for outdoor sitting as well. The snowy jasmine is the keystone of the menu for a reason - sweet and fragrant without being overpowering. read more
Luckily, it wasn't busy, but there were a lot Numbers being prepared, I asked the staff about the wait time in case it was long; surprisingly, she said it was less than 10 minutes. Ordered at the kiosk, ordered the premium Jasmine milk tea with oat milk, and 70% sweetness came out quickly. The milk tea was fragrant and delicious. read more

The parking lot is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend using any of the apps to order ahead. I promise it makes the whole experience much smoother. My go-to is the Jasmine Milk Tea with matcha foam. It is a combo I keep coming back to. The Jasmine Milk Tea on its own is also solid if you want something simpler. If you're in the mood for something fruitier, the Oolong Peach is a decent option, though it's not quite as memorable as the jasmine drinks. Overall, a solid tea shop if you're into aromatic, floral teas over traditional boba. The decor is super cute with the pink cups and merch. read more

I'm all about that tea esp jasmine tea (in case you didn't know mo li is jasmine in chinese, hence the name). Chinese tea brands are known to focus on tea quality so that got me excited to try this! The parking lot is a bit small and cramped, I wish they can expand for more parking because the place itself is pretty spacious and aesthetic. And not to mention smells like jasmine tea!!! We got premium jasmine tea and premium jasmine. Orders came fast and both drinks were delicious, floral and refreshing but the standout was the premium jasmine tea. The matcha was good too but the jasmine and matcha were muted. I'd definitely come back and maybe try other drinks that had more jasmine in them! read more

There was not an open access WiFi network to join. They did have private WiFi, but there aren't any instructions posted anywhere (nor did I ask), so it's unclear if that's only meant for them rather than customers.
