This Heytea location is very small and located on the perimeter of Atlantic Times Square/across the street from Courtyard by Marriott. There is 1 self order kiosk on the left and just a counter for ordering/picking up drinks. No tables and it can get cramped and crowded when busy. I recommend ordering beforehand to pick up. I've tried their crisp grape boom and kale boost tea. I've never had a bad drink from them. I highly recommend their fruit drinks, it's super refreshing and they use real fruit.

Ordered the Cloud Coconut Blue which has a coconut milk base, blue spirulina, and cloud cream topping. It's a light and refreshing drink with creamy coconut milk that is pronounced and pleasant when mixed with the salty cream topping. Very simple shop with a digital kiosk to order or you can order from one of the major food apps. The service was really quick with the drink ready to go. There is free parking underneath the plaza and some limited free street parking. It's an addition to the neighboring milk tea scene.

The Monterey Park HeyTea is by far my favorite HeyTea in Southern California. Picking up your order is seamless. Performance is consistent. The workers are professional and efficient. I had an especially wonderful experience at this HeyTea today thanks to a worker named Yichun. Yichun was very helpful in helping me navigate the HeyTea app to use my Sparks to apply rewards to my order. She was so cheerful and happy to help. She also helped me get Sparks on my friends' orders as well (since they didn't want their points hehehe). There was no wait tonight, so we got our drinks immediately handed to us by Yichun as well. She also complimented my custom Doraemon sticker that I drew using the HeyTea app! The drinks, of course, are amazing. My personal favorite drink EVER is the Crisp Grape Boom, a delicious blend of jasmine green tea and grape juice that is miraculously only 120 calories! Every component in the drink is very well balanced. The slush is cold and refreshing without diluting the flavor. The sweetness of the grape juice complements the soft, floral jasmine tea in such an addicting way. And the pieces of grape at the bottom provide a satisfying "crisp" crunch! Recently, I've also really liked the King Jasmine Guava. The drink is incredibly fragrant. You get a punch the lime zest aroma simply by picking up the cup. You take a sip and are plunged into the sweet salted cheese cloud before breaking through to the wonderfully ripe guava drink, all the while being enveloped in their nine-scented King Jasmine Tea. Sweet, cheesy, ripe, complex, and fragrant. I almost feel bad drinking it because it feels like I'm cheating on the Crisp Grape Boom. And yes, it is that deep. And no, I am not exaggerating about anything. I love the Monterey Park HeyTea so much. Great vibes.

The drinks are still really good. They have new smaller cups... There was this one day where their internet was down so they couldn't take orders. So the lady in front told us to order on the app. Which we did.. so we walked to Daiso while we waited for about 10 minutes and when we went back she just told us that the internet was still down.. Which I was so confused about because she told us to order on the app but either way .. what did the internet have to do with making my drinks. But I just said okay. I would check in every 10-15 minutes and every time I walked up to the store she would hide her face with her hands. I was a bit annoyed because I had already paid for my drinks and I waited patiently for almost an hour, I'm not sure what the internet being down had anything to do with making my drinks. After an hour, I ended up just asking for a refund. Definitely expect a wait when you want to get a drink here but the quality is good. I think they have other locations, which I probably will try out to see if they have better service.

I loved Heytea when I had it in China, it was one of my favorite tea spots. I'm glad they brought it to the US, but to be honest it's not quite the same. It still helps cure the craving, but the tea flavor doesn't feel as strong as I remember. Best way to order is through the app if you want to avoid the long lines. Also note most drinks don't come with boba by default, so you'll have to add it as a topping. Some drinks I've liked so far are the Kale Boost tea, the Yingde milk tea with mochi, and the guava tea. Overall they're good, just not as memorable as the ones I had in China. It is on the pricier side, but I guess that's the cost if you want that Heytea fix.

TLDR: Some things you just can't have enough of. It's the best mango drink I've had in the US, and the brand is yet to let me down. Coconut Mango Boom: The main problem living on the West Coast is that the mangos are just bland. The occasional mango drink purchased in other locations just tastes like syrup. HeyTea is the first establishment that made the drink taste like the mangoes found in Southeast Asia. Do they use a specialized syrup? Maybe. Do I care? No. The mango taste is as good as it gets, and the coconut adds a layer to keep things dynamic. HeyTea also gives an option to add tea (surprise) into the drink. This tea adds another layer of fragrance and taste complexity, which I really enjoy. Service: It takes a while for them to finish the drink because of high foot traffic. Order via mobile. Ambiance: It's only a to-go spot. The place is big enough to order via kiosk, and the rest of the customers wait outside.

I've been to maybe a dozen Heytea locations. Their drinks are always outstanding and consistent. The stores smells wonderful and always clean. Their service is always exceptional and efficient. This location is no exception. My favorite drink is the Coconut Mango Boom and is at the top of my list for all time favorite bevs. I order on the app and can always expect how long to wait because it tells you your estimated wait time and how many drinks ahead. When I went to pick up my drink, their quality control is very apparent, with the friendly staff telling me to be sure to start drinking it within the first three minutes. Never an issue for me because I can't help but scarf down the entire drink immediately.

    Karen L.

Very solid tea. The kiosk makes it extra easy to order there, with the usual custom options like less sugar etc. I got a jasmine milk tea, which the jasmine really stood out to my surprise. My fiance liked his mango tea and it makes for a prettier option since the milk teas are more in a covered cup than a clear cup. They were very quick with the orders too, despite a lot of pick-ups for delivery. Maybe a 5 min wait on a Saturday. The shop isn't very big though with zero seating, so just grab and go as you are shopping or wandering the area. The tea is pretty good, so I can see myself back if I'm in the area!

At this point Heytea and long wait lines go together, so visit at your own discretion! They are extremely understaffed but I occasionally still return because I really enjoy their drinks. At least the neighborhood seems quiet and safe for people to wait around outside the store. This time I tried their new King Guava jasmine milk tea which was fragrant with flavors that were delicious and unique.

Love the drinks at Heytea, but this location in particular is too disorganized. The store is tiny and crowded. When there are BOGO offers, the line gets ridiculously long and it's hard to know when your order is ready because there are so many drinks that they are working on. The staff doesn't seem very friendly or helpful if you ask for the status of your order. I know there is a screen showing which order numbers are ready, but it's not completely accurate. I would recommend ordering through their mobile app if possible. A self-order kiosk is available inside, but I see most people order at the register instead. These are my top drinks: Triple Supreme Matcha Latte: high-quality matcha drink with a creamy foam top that adds a nice, silky finish to each sip. The matcha jelly and matcha mochi toppings create an enjoyable, chewy textural contrast to the drink. Mango Grapefruit Boom: a fruity drink that blends fresh mango and fresh grapefruit. The sweetness from the mango puree balances out the bitterness of the grapefruit pulp very well. I really like the texture of the sago in this drink. One of the good things about this location is that there is plenty of free parking in the underground structure, although street parking is limited.

This location at HeyTea is at the Atlantic Time Square in Alambra. You can see the crowd waiting outside driving down Atlantic. They have an app if you would like to preorder to save yourself the wait. Our group our 4 came here after lunch and there was a crazy line. We decided to order on the app. We thought we were smart to avoid the line, but apparently there was still 50+ drinks in front of us, and an ETA of 30 minutes. That is a crazy long amount of time to wait for tea. Anyways I had the Supreme Matcha Latte ($7.99) and after the long anticipation... I was a little underwhelmed about the results after waiting for so long. There are so many other places that have better matcha than the one I had. I know one of our friends said they didn't like their drink, but had like other drinks here in the past. Sounds like a hit or miss. I'm going to judge them based on my experience and I think it's pricey with a ridiculously long wait, and my drink was about average tasting. I know I have one of these HeyTeas closer to me in Irvine, but I really don't care to visit any of their locations.

Goated boba place. LOVE LOVE LOVE their Coconut Mango Boom!!! I've also gotten their Cloud Coconut Blue before too, and it's so refreshing. Honestly can't really go wrong with any drink here. I discovered that they have "taste enhancing straws" at this location. Depending on what drink you order, you'll have the option of getting this. It's literally 3 tiny straws stuck together, that mimics the sipping action instead of sucking? Apparently it does make the flavors stand out more! My friend and I were super confused when we saw it at first though LOL. This location is super tiny. There is always a long line here, but it goes by quickly! You can also order on the app, which apparently is a lot faster. It's a grab n go spot because there's literally no seating at all, but because it's in the Monterey plaza there's plenty of open hang out space.

Yes, they do. I paid with cash and it they did accept it as a payment option. They did give me quarters as my change instead of bills even though I noticed they did have one-dollar bills, but I just assumed it was because they may have more coins.

The tiramisu layer makes the drink very creamy and rich. It works perfectly with the roasted, nutty hojicha flavor. As for the uji matcha latte, it has a slightly sweet creaminess with just the right ratio of matcha and milk. A nice little perk is that they always have a BOGO free drink deal, which rotates every week. However, every BOGO drink I've tried is pretty basic and nothing special. The drink usually comes with boba as a topping. The boba here isn't the best though. From my experience, the boba tends to stick together and become chunky.

I was the only one there so took maybe only about 2 minutes to come out. Both the tea and the jelly had a very strong tea flavor, which is what I prefer, which is why I usually reduce the amount of sweetness in all my drinks. It's definitely different with the jelly instead of the boba I usually get, but it's a nice change. Contact was very minimal since you order at the kiosk first and the only human interaction is when they bring out your order to you.
