To order: Can order online, in store with the cashier or there are two kiosks available. Service has always been fine. Never an issue. SIGNATURE DRINKS: Original Thai Tea 4.5/5 70% sweet is sweet enough. 30% for less sweet. Thai Green Milk Tea 4.25/5 Not bad. Thai Red Plum 4.25/5 Kinda like it even though it's acquired taste. Definitely not the kind of drink I would have everyday, but good to have once in a long while. Thai Lemon Tea 2.5-3/5 Trying really hard to like it, but it's very so-so for me. Not my cup of tea. The Butterfly Collection: Honey Lemon Butterly Tea w/ Basil Seed 4.25/5 30% sugar. Like that it's slightly tart. Flavor/taste is good. Butterfly Pea Milk Tea w/ Basil Seed 4.25/5 30% sugar. Tastes sweeter than 30% sugar. Could taste the condensed milk. OTHER DRINKS: Yuzu Rose Tea 4.5/5 Bf likes this drink. I have couple sips and thought it was good (would order again). Thai Green Tea Latte 4.25/5 Their Thai Green Tea is pretty good. Probably won't be getting the latte version in the future cuz it comes with Pandan Boba and I'm kinda alright/so-so with it. Lychee Green Tea 4/5 Not bad. Decent.

The coconut ice cream milk tea is a unique and delicious drink. Another standout drink is the matcha frostie with creme brulee. I have never had a bad drink from this place. The menu here is very huge, maybe even too huge. There are so many drinks you could possibly order, ranging from milk teas to fruit teas to slushies to coffees and a lot more. I think it would be better if they focused on a smaller menu with some really good specialty drinks. Nevertheless, I will miss this boba shop.

Unfortunately, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted funky. Some pearls had the flavor of soap. "Gross!!" I arrived at YOTEA (Rosemead) on Monday (around 12:16PM). Parking is simple if familiar with the area. There's a rear parking garage for customers. Staff is unmemorable and awkward. When I mentioned they mixed old and new menus together which displayed incorrect prices, Staff seemed amused and let them stay mixed. Staff avoided customer interaction whenever possible. The drink took two minutes and 10 seconds. Quick time. The Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 80 cents) tasted artificial. It had a strong "candy milk taste," and it glowed a neon green when stirred. The first sip was pleasant, but as I continued to drink, the taste became more off-putting. Next, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted inconsistent. Some tasted perfectly fine, but others had the flavor of dishwater and gloop. I was tempted to throw it into the garbage can. Concerning ambiance, YOTEA (Rosemead) has potential. Ignoring the cobweb underneath one table & the somewhat old furniture, there's utility. This location has about 10 electrical outlets. Wow! There's also customer internet with password; the internet information is taped onto the black register. There's also a customer gender neutral restroom. YOTEA (Rosemead) is also very spacious. The ceiling is very tall, and there's many spots to sit. There's about 16 tables!! If desperate for a study/work spot, this is a decent choice. There's also upbeat, smooth music. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at YOTEA (Rosemead). There's utility and potential, but this business feels old and unmaintained. Rather than clean, Staff just chattered amongst themselves. Any passion that rang within these walls dissipated a long time ago. Currently, YOTEA (Rosemead) is simply mediocre. 2.9 out of 5

Parking is easy since it's located in a plaza, but the area can get busy on weekends. We ordered the honey osmanthus oolong tea and milk tea with boba. Both had strong tea flavors, and the boba was super soft and chewy. The honey osmanthus oolong was light and refreshing. I also noticed they only offer one standard size and don't allow additional toppings for the boba milk tea, even for an extra charge. Service was fast and efficient, and thankfully, there wasn't much of a wait when we visited.

If there's no wait, this is probably my favorite choice in the area because I really enjoy their tea! This visit, I ordered: - Bubble Milk Tea - High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Lemon What I like most about Chicha is that the tea flavor actually stands out. Their drinks taste more tea-forward and not too milky compared with many other boba shops. The High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Lemon was especially refreshing and fragrant, while the Bubble Milk Tea was a nice classic choice. With so many tea shops competing for attention along Valley Blvd, Chicha San Chen remains one of my favorites. Service is easy, you can order online or in store. Simple and clean inside. There is parking lot in the plaza.

I usually ask for less ice and 0% percent sugar since it's already sweetened with honey. The oolong is fragrant, smooth and tastes high quality, making every sip a treat. This drink instantly brightens my day. The staff are friendly and ordering from the self-service kiosk makes it quick and easy. It's definitely a grab and go spot. The only downside is that the shop is tucked toward the back of the plaza, somewhat hidden and parking can be difficult during busy times. I usually have better luck finding street parking. With so many tea shops popping up, Chun Yang continues to be one of my tried and true favorites- a perfect fusion of traditional and modern.

There was a steady stream of people coming and leaving at all times. We ordered from the self serve kiosk. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks when there were only 3 people ahead of us. The drinks were watered down in comparison to other places despite being less ice for two drinks. The hojicha latte with brown sugar pearls is only available on weekends. The tea taste and milk didn't mesh together well. Oolong tea with pudding also tasted more like water than tea. The pudding was overwhelming. It is similar (if not the same) as ones you get from japanese convenience stores. For the price point, I would have expected berger taste and quality. The wait wasn't worth it for what was being served. I don't think I'd come back to this location but might give it another try elsewhere.

The employee noticed and helped us expand the table to two times the normal table. I got the Midnight Jasmine Milk Tea and the employee mentioned the difference between the Midnight Jasmine Milk Tea and Jasmine Green Milk Tea is that they use a more bubble gummy sweetener. The employee recommended 70% sweet since it tends to be on the sweeter side. I have to agree that the drink has a floral flavor with a bubble gum aftertaste which makes the drink unique. It is a solid drink but not something I prefer as I like something on the milkier or fruiter side.

The location has limited parking, but we were lucky to snag a spot. We came late on a Saturday and it was almost full. Many people were there studying. The location has many tables for seating and wifi is free. The staff working was knowledgeable of their menu and gave us recommendations during our redemptions from the passport. We also ordered some food items to pair with all the drinks. The drinks came out periodically as it was very packed inside. We enjoyed the assam milk tea and they allowed us to sub oat milk. For the seasonal drinks we got the Lavender & Sakura Milk Teas. The drinks were made well and had the right sweetness we requested. The food items were fine. I'd recommend the popcorn chicken if you're a fan. The fries were ok. Overall, I'd recommend coming by as the drink pricing appears affordable and the staff were very helpful. Thanks, Moncha Cafe! The Hojicha Pudding in the Iron Buddha Oolong Milk Tea is a solid standard. But the Ube Taro Mochi Green Milk Tea?! HELLOOOO. Hella yum! I got both at 30% sweet and 50% ice, and I'm so glad I did because it balanced the pudding and that rich ube taro mochi paste perfectly. I fear full sweetness might be a little much, but I'm an old Asian who believes desserts should be "not too sweet." Unfortunate to say, that one of the baristas isn't. She has short hair, glasses, and tattoos. There are 3 instances with her specifically. Not that I want hate on anyone. Maybe they had a bad day, I get it., But her actions otherwise... First instance. Ordered strawberry latte with mochi. We asked to remove the topping. They did, but it messed up the drink itself. Asked to reblend it. I don't think she liked that. If the drink had mochi and there is a specific way to make the drink, she could've said it would just be less of the drink because there isn't mochi. Wouldn't been fine. Different day, ordered the same thing. She refused to not allow removal of the topping. I guess from what happened last time. She wouldn't budge on it. A different day. Ordered 4 of the bogo. Only 1 party in front of me that ordered. After I ordered, another party ordered after. The location isn't busy. Both got it before I did. The cashier asked if I was still waiting. I said yes and showered my receipt. The barista came out. Looked at the kiosk and did some tattoos and went to the back. Mentioned they are going to check and working on it. After giving my drinks, she said it was because they were brewing the tea. If it's a bogo, normally that tea should be ready since it was offered the whole week. I don't know. It seems a bit deliberate for those who ordered with adjustments. Considering they didn't even bother to mention they were brewing more tea knowing I was waiting. Technically the store would be saving money if we don't order with toppings so I'm not sure what the issue is with this person and tonight considering another review also mentioned a barista who laughed at them for ordering more in front of them. I come to a conclusion there may be something with this person. I understand bad days and hate to think otherwise.
