I believe that this place had to open within the year. There's a lot of color and light in this place, which matched with the "aura" of the types of drinks that are offered at this place. My mom wanted to try the signature fruit tea, and I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was despite the 25% sugar. I am also intrigued by their other drink options, so I'd be open to come back again.
I didn't catch the name of the girl that helped us, but she was a whole vibe. She helped us pick our drinks and she did not miss. They were all absolutely delicious. She gets points for being a Mario Kart fan too I wish they could put some sort of inflatable boba character or something outside to attract more customers. But unfortunately, the powers that be (land lords) won't allow that. So it stays our little hidden diamond in the rough right next to what used to be TGI Fridays. But now that we know it's here, we will definitely be back.
Gotcha tea is a cute small cafe, I wanted to go for the matcha. They were a little busy, it can get crowded quick, but they didn't take too long to get our drinks out. We got to coco matcha and the biscoff matcha. Both were really good imo. But the coco matcha was a little misleading my bf thought it was matcha with chocolate but it was matcha with coconut water. Other than that, I liked both drinks, my bf didn't like the coconut water matcha, but to each their own. Oh they also use a good matcha, I'm a little picky so that says a lot lol.

I ordered the drink with 75% sweetness and 50% ice. The drink was perfect and very refreshing. There is plenty space inside with tables and outlets if you're looking for a pot to plug in your laptop. The wifi speed was solid, and didn't feel slow when I was working. The prices here are reasonable and the drink I ordered was great. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

This store is located in a large plaza with plenty of shared parking space. However, it was pretty busy around 4 pm on the weekends. It was a bit warmer the day I visited, so I got a strawberry fruit tea with boba (medium size). It tasted okay and was refreshing. The medium size was smaller than I imagined and would probably have gotten the large size. Overall, this looked like a good spot to catch up with friends and even do some work.

I got a bamboo charcoal milk tea with boba! I've also gotten the slush before and the slush definitely tastes better than the milk tea for some reason Not really a fan of their boba, it was kind of like mini boba except it wasn't. Their service is fine, no complaints there! They have a self ordering kiosk if they get busy. The whole place just look really nice and aesthetic. They have a really cute wall and it is a nice place to get some work done!
The service was great here and the cashier was so friendly and helpful. However, boba too soft and tea flavor too bitter, which was disappointing.
Gotcha Cutest soft pink decor with the most adorb stuffies in the claw machine as you walk up to order. You can either order at the counter or on the machine. All drinks are non dairy except for the Thai drink, or so I was told. I got the AMT (almond milk tea)- 15% sweet with the the pudding and the grass jelly that was made so silky soft. The AMT had the right amount everything- not too creamy but the almond profile was very balanced. I'd get this drink again. This is a great spot to hang out with friends and family or to study. There's about seven groups of tables that can be connected or separated depending on group size. Gotcha is not on Target side or by where all the food is at. Wrap around the other end of the plaza along the freeway and you'll see it between TGIF and Petsmart. read more
I was in the plaza for other errands and wanted to try this boba place. This store is a bit hidden at the very end but they offer a wide assortment of classic drinks and yogurt drinks. I have been wanting to get a yogurt drink for a while so I decided to go with the Purple Rice Yogurt drink here. They have a kiosk for self ordering which is convenient. I ordered the drink 25% sugar to keep the yogurt not filled with sugar. And I chose to upgrade to large. They also some claw machines in the corner and a good amount of tables to sit and chat with friends or do some work. It was pretty quiet when I came since it was in the evening on a weekday. There was only one girl working on the drinks so it took around 10 minutes for my drink to be ready- wasn't too bad. The drink is nicely blended with yogurt and purple rice. Since I did 25% sugar it was a good tart yogurt flavor with not overwhelming sugar. They also blended it well so that it was a thicker texture instead of watery like another place I tried. My only complaint was that there wasn't that much purple rice, but it could be because they blended it more with the yogurt? But overall I enjoyed the drink and I think this is worth for the cup size and price; not many places sell for this price. I recommend their yogurt drink and their other drinks look good too. They look like an authentic boba place with prices that are a bit cheaper than other places. read more
Came here on a rainy day to get some drinks and kill some time. Loved knowing they are locally sourcing their ingredients (especially growing their own teas). They have quite a few tables, and some claw machines. It got a little too warm while we were there, but it was better than being wet and cold. Really cute location with cute decor and even claw machines. Staff was friendly and answered any questions I had. I got the Cookie butter latte and it was really good, the matcha flavor is strong but not overpowering, i do think it needed a bit more of cookie butter flavoring as it seemed to only have the crumbl as flavor but still very good. read more

There are plenty of free parking outside since it's in a plaza. You can order at a kiosk and we got out drinks pretty quickly. The interior is spacious, but there are not many seatings. The drinks were decent. My favorite is the bamboo milk. read more

Cute boba place with several gotcha machines in store which keeps you entertained while you wait for your drink. The boba itself is fairly decent, though make sure you order the large size as the regular size is pretty small. Tea flavor is strong and milk tea is well balanced. read more
I ordered the sakura yogurt and it was soo good! The Sakura yogurt has both lychee and watermelon and you can definitely taste both. It was super refreshing and I highly recommend this drink. I added boba to mine and their boba is perfectly al dente, chewy and bouncy. They have free wifi and a restroom in the back for customers. Plenty of seating as well. They are located inside Rosemead Place so parking is not an issue. Service is friendly, informative and quick! read more

Back then, I was always wondering why didn't a boba shop open up in the Rosemead Plaza. I was glad that a store did! I've always come at random times and would always see a few people in there until I realized how crowded it was when there were Kpop Cupsleeve events. (Events that are usually dedicated to K-POP singer or group for their birthdays, concerts in town, etc.) Drinks My personal favorites are Mom's Favorite and Paris 1883. I haven't tried the fruit drinks here but they are my friends' go-to. Despite have huge crowd, the quality and consistent stays the same! They have a wide range of drinks and toppings as well. I hope to come back again soon and try more of their drinks. Service The sweetest workers there! I'm not sure if they are high school or college; but I often run into these girls who are helpful and welcoming. I have asked before if dogs were allowed (since I take my fur baby to PetSmart next door) and the cashier told me yes. I have major anxiety sometimes and even call to make sure I can come in with my dog (some businesses I've been told mixed things, so that's why I check often). The workers there love to say hi to my fur baby. Ambiance It's a cute little boba shop. Average sitting space for boba shop in the area. Not too loud and I often see people on their laptops there. It's a great place and convenient to grab some boba after a meal or shopping at the Rosemead Plaza. Do keep in mind that cupsleeve events completely alter this experience. The organizations that host these events help keep the flow going very well to ensure that casual patrons are able to order on their own instead of standing in the wrong line. I would recommend checking these events out since there are a handful of small business sharing their love of these events and passion with us! Hidden at the edge of the plaza, this boba place can be very easy to miss. It is right next door to TGIF Fridays. There is plenty of parking. Inside is pretty spacious with seating and even claw machines. You can order on the kiosk or with an employee at the counter. We got the matcha milk tea ($4.75) and jasmine milk tea ($4.25) at half sugar and less ice. We upgraded to large for $0.50. Prices were reasonable and honestly cheaper than a lot of the other places. Both drinks were the perfect balance of creamy with the tea. Service was fast. Definitely will be back when I'm in the area. Give them a shot! read more

I love this boba spot you can really taste the difference in the tea that they use compared to other locations. My pet peeve is when the black tea is not a stand out flavor, but here it is. The color and taste is consistently rich and flavorful. I like how cute it is decorated and the little animations on the cup. I came here on a Sunday afternoon to pick up some drinks for my sister and I. I ordered the strawberry milk slush and the jasmine green milk tea with cheese foam. The jasmine green milk tea was pretty good. The tea was pretty fresh and it wasn't super sweet, which I prefer. I also got cheese foam as a topping, which added a bit of saltiness to the taste. Overall, pretty good. My sister got the strawberry milk slush. She liked it! The strawberry flavor was strong and it wasn't too icy. This place only sell drinks, no food which I was a bit bummed about. The shop itself is really spacious and cute. Lots of tables for dining in. There's a big parking lot right outside the store, since it's located in a plaza. There's also a few claw machines inside, which is cute addition to the store's aesthetic! read more

I came on a Wednesday night and there were only a few people inside enjoying their drinks. I went with the milk tea with grass jelly (25% sweetness) and I honestly was not disappointed. Especially given that it was $5... most boba places charge up to $8 now. For the price, the quality was great! One of my friends ordered a brown sugar milk tea (50% sweetness) & I really liked it! While shopping in the plaza, I realized that this boba place had SUPER HIGH ratings and saw some customers peruse around the other shops and in the lot with cups from this establishment, so I knew, as a boba enjoyer, that I had to try. Especially after seeing that they farm their own tea and apparently is one of AUSTRALIA's (??) best boba places? Definitely not a chain you see here as often. There's plenty of seating inside and lots of cute photo opportunities and décor. The baristas also have fun decorating and drawing fan art too, I can tell lol. We got the: 1) Bamboo Charcoal Milk Tea: -Got this drink with no sugar added and the milk "sweetened" it up enough where it was still possible to taste the steeped tea. -Slightly more roasted/toasted (?) taste to it, but it's really subtle and I'm not sure if that's from the charcoal or just from the tea itself. 2) Paris 1883: -This comes in large size only. -It's a milk tea with caramel, egg pudding, grass jelly, boba, and crushed Oreo crumbles. -I have NO idea what happened in 1883 in Paris but this drink slaps if you're looking for a more dessert oriented sweet treat than a drink drink if that makes any sense. However, I adjusted the sweetness for the drink and this balanced out really well with the sweetness of all the toppings included. -Not bad and I can see why this is a popular drink on their menu. Will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area and crossing my fingers that this franchise expands and opens more locations in the US! read more
This place looked a lot bigger compared to what I saw from the outside! Super spacious inside and seems like a good place for a study date with a friend or two. We came in on Monday around 4/5 pm which was surprisingly not too crowded with ppl. The service was good and the drinks were made promptly. We got the brown sugar milk tea boba and the strawberry milk tea boba. At first the brown sugar milk tea seemed a little strong and butter but once the sugar started diluting a little more, I came to really enjoy the drink! The boba was soft and had good chewy consistency. The strawberry milk tea hit me surprisingly because it was pretty sweet at first, but once the ice started to mesh in with the drink a little better, it tasted great. I don't know how they brew their tea though because it was pretty strong. I recommend not drinking this past 5 pm because my partner and I were awake until 4 am!! Lol. Signs of getting older and more sensitive to caffeine I suppose?! But overall, would come back! read more
