    Matcha Banana photo on app

Great service and atmosphere, but drink photos are deceiving. We ordered the Matcha Banana and it didn't look the photos on their app. It also didn't taste all that great. A bit artificial. The other drink we tried was the Authentic Milk Tea but it didn't taste like Milk Tea. We got our drinks with less ice and drinks were not filled to the top. The drinks still had quite a lot of ice. Parking lot is small as well. The interior looks bright and welcoming, but I probably wouldn't come back. I didn't see anything that stood out from my regular coffee and tea places.

This place is both convenient and delicious and has so much to offer! I only got myself to give it a try this week and find myself planning what I'll get next time I'm in. First of all, I'm so happy they're open EARLY. like actually early, before people go to work, when we need coffee! Everything is incredibly clean inside from seating to drink preparation area and the restroom! Plenty of seating and cute for photo aesthetics. Service is quick and kind with the option to kiosk or app/online order. They have a great welcome offer for the app & it works quickly. Matcha is yum! They have a wide variety of flavored options (I tried Strawberry and Corn both 7.5/10) and their Phin coffee is great too (I find it a normal amount of strong as a Vjet but beware haha it can be strong!)

4 stars This place has rebranded since my last review and I feel like I have to come here more often! The interior is nicel. I don't see a food menu anymore, but a lot of beverage options. The employee helping me was nice. I ordered the Ube Cream Coffee ($6.50). I thought it was tasty and strong. Definitely bonus points for allowing sugar adjustments. At 70% sugar, I thought the beverage was perfectly sweet for me. On a Tuesday morning, there's plenty of seating. Interior is modern and clean. I wouldn't call it cozy, but it has its own vibe. Will definitely be back!

Loved the Pandan matcha, so I had to go back to try another flavor. Which I did, and the Corn matcha was just as delicious. I had to reduce the sugar, but it was still delicious. It's such a cute and cozy cafe with a handful of seating plus a patio. The staff is very friendly. There's plenty of parking in the lot

My friend and I came here to get some matcha drinks. The interior decor is very nice. It was busy when I went in, but there was still seating available. We ordered the Matcha Oat Latte and Matcha Einspanner. Still very good at 30% sweetness.

Came back to try more drinks. First, download their app. Ordering was so simple and I didn't have to wait for my drinks this time. Just picked up and go....AND free Vietnamese coffee upon download. And that is one tasty drink. I also ordered a panda matcha and loved the flavor.

One of new go-tos for coffee and matcha in the 626! I was recommended this cafe by a friend and it did not disappoint. They're located in a small plaza with very minimal parking spots if it gets busy. Walking in, your eyes go towards their TV that displays their menu. They offer a wide variety of drinks such as matchas, coffees, and fruity drinks if you don't want caffeine. If you're having a difficult time choosing what drink you want, you can ask the person taking your order for recommendations. I couldn't get his name but he was so helpful when one of my friends didn't want a caffeinated drink and had his recommendations for a fruity drink. I got to try 5 different drinks and wow they were all so delicious! This place is definitely a popular spot to get some work done since they have many tables and chairs for you to work at while you enjoy your drink. Even if you don't want to study or do work, it's still a spot to catch up with friends! Drinks: Iced Matcha Latte (7.5/10): This was the drink that I got! They use 'ceremonial uji matcha' as their base. I really loved how concentrated the matcha flavor is but I was looking for some sweetness. I definitely will try the matcha einspanner next time since other people have said that this is the sweeter option between the matchas. Coco Matcha Cloud: I'm not a big fan of coconut water but I did a sip of this drink! Aesthetic wise, this one was really nice to look at since they use a pink coconut water as the base then add a matcha cold foam on top with a little flower. I like how refreshing everything tasted when combined! Mango Bilini: This drink will absolutely HIT when summer comes around the corner. One of us in the group doesn't like caffeine so this drink was recommended to him! This drink is everything you're looking for when you're craving something cold and has mangos. You can choose between Oolong tea or Jasmine tea as the base and he got jasmine tea! I will say that this drink is definitely on the sweeter side. Rising Phoenix: This drink is a floral tasting milk tea. I believe that this is an oolong based milk tea! I love floral milk teas so this one is definitely a get again if I ever decide on getting a milk tea from here!

Stopped by after lunch for coffee. Charming little roastery. My son immediately pointed out the teddy bear baristas and asked to take a picture with them. The service was super friendly. The menu has a ton of really good coffee and non-coffee options. I got the Brown Einspanner and the strawberry cloud tea slush for my kiddo. Both drinks were delicious. Will definitely be stopping by frequently to explore more of the menu. I stick to coffee only, but I might even try their fruit slushes or refreshers next time!

Yummy Taiyaki and sweet Matcha Einspanner! Went to Blets around 9AM in the morning. Quick and easy to get out of the parking lot. Plenty of parking lot space. I ordered 3 taiyaki flavors (ube, custard and nutella) and the nice sauce that came with it is a must dip! The Matcha einspanner is on the sweeter side so if you don't want it so sweet, it would be safer to request to dial it down. The cafe space is pretty nice, have some aesthetic sit down and chat and some tables that's good for groups of 1-2 to work on their laptop. The staff are friendly and polite through the entire process. Restroom? Yes; didn't use it though. Parking? Yes; plenty in the morning.

I took the kids to B'lets Roastery this morning at around 11:30 a.m. while they were getting haircuts nearby. The kids were thrilled to see two enormous bear dolls, and the location looked good for pictures. I got the Matcha Lava Cream, which is Unique Crafted with ceremonial Uji Matcha and a hint of Jasmine and Boba, Egg Coffee, which comes with Bold Coffee with condensed milk, egg cream, and finally Cookie & Cream. To receive the FREE Viet "Phin" coffee, be sure to download the B'lets Roastery app. It's a good spot for tea, coffee, and bubble teas.

Drove past on the way home, decided to pop in to try it! Got a regular matcha oat latte, no sweetness adjustments! im usually not a fan of oat milk in my lattes but this matcha was so rich and deep in color!! better than most places in the 626 for matcha. the young woman at the cashier was really nice and pleasant. they had alot of tables and chairs. saw some people just gossiping catchin up and some studying! nice hang out spot with good matcha! :)

Ube Cream Coffee ($6.50) - Close Up - "IT'S SUPERB!!"
    Ian A.

I had a magical experience at B'Lets Roastery (South El Monte). I ordered the Ube Cream Coffee ($6.50). It's Vietnamese Coffee with Ube Cream. I felt literal tears fall from my eyes as I sipped one of the best coffees I've had in a long time. I found a cup of happiness. I arrived at B'Lets Roastery (South El Monte) on Monday (around 11:53AM). Parking is simple because the lot is wide. However, the nearby parking spots say, "30 Minute Customer Parking Only." Staff (receipt says Ngoc) is extremely friendly, smiley, and welcoming. Ngoc communicated cheerfully and brightly despite the limited English. Ngoc used pre-scripted phrases, but Ngoc maintained her calm and confidence. Ngoc worked very hard. My drink took three minutes and 58 seconds. Good time. As mentioned, I absolutely adored the Ube Cream Coffee ($6.50). It's masterfully balances utility and flavor. This coffee woke me up, but it also made all my stress fade away. I felt my shoulder slump downward in happiness. This coffee is not bitter nor too sweet. Rather, the flavor of fresh ube and coffee blossomed brightly. This drink is fresh and light, and I'd argue that it's a slightly better version of the Da Vien Coffee. B'Lets Roastery (South El Monte) whisked me away on a magical coffee adventure. Regarding ambiance, B'Lets Roastery (South El Monte) has a very charming and adorable interior!! The decor is sleek and modern. There's two giant teddy bear baristas! And the furniture looks well-maintained and attractive! If I were to nitpick, the location feels a little stuffy/humid, but the air carries the scent of lavender and freshly brewed coffee. B'Lets Roastery (South El Monte) also has utility. There's customer internet with password; details are taped on the counter's glass. There's also three electrical outlets. I appreciate how they used an orange extension cable to help customers. There's also a gender neutral restroom for customers. The interior also has 11 shiny small tables, and the outside shades patio has a couple more spots for seating. The music also made me laugh as it played slow romantic songs. Overall, B'Lets Roastery (South El Monte) offered an exemplary experience. My huge, dumb smile didn't vanish even as I drove away. I am so happy!! If you love coffee, I excitedly recommend! 5 out of 5! "GO! GO!! GO!!!"

I'm addicted. I have been here 2 or more times a week since I've discovered. All of the drinks are so good and don't get me started on any of the Phin drinks cuz omg those are GOLD. I've tried all of their fruit teas and all I can say is go get them all, one each day of the week even. They really have so many options and right off the freeway so why not, stop in - grab a drink on the way to work or home from work or whenever. Just like me. Im not really a fan of the tayakis but that's because I like to have different flavors and here you get a 3 pack of all the same. They were good but just not my fav because I want to have different flavors.

The biggest surprise was the Kimchi Croissant, which has honestly become my favorite pastry in the SGV. The croissant was flaky and buttery, with bacon, a soft jammy egg yolk, and just enough kimchi to add a little spice and acidity without overpowering everything else. It's a combination I wasn't sure would work, but it really does. I also had one of their signature cream puffs, and it's easy to see why they're known for them. They offer some interesting flavors like Biscoff Crunch, Taro Salted Egg Yolk, and black sesame hojicha which are a nice change from the usual vanilla and chocolate options. For drinks, I tried the Pistachio Cloud Top Matcha and the Black Sesame Cloud Top. Both were well balanced and not overly sweet. The pistachio matcha was my favorite of the two. The staff were friendly and patient, even though there was a steady flow of customers and plenty of people taking their time deciding what to order. One thing to keep in mind is that they do sell out of popular items fairly early, so if you have something specific in mind, it's worth going earlier in the day. Overall, Browned is a solid bakery with creative pastries, good drinks, and friendly service. It's easy to see why it's become such a popular spot in San Gabriel.

I bought almost everything in the store to try, and honestly, the one item I would absolutely go back for without hesitation is the kimchi croissant. It was unique, flavorful, and easily the standout item. The rest was okay. The lattes were also very small for the price of $7+. Overall, I think the place has potential, especially with items like the kimchi croissant, but they need to improve the parking flow, signage once the construction is complete.

I ordered a cortado, and it was an excellent example of a well-executed milk drink. The texture was silky with a rich, velvety body that stayed consistent throughout the cup. The milk was steamed very well, producing smooth, glossy microfoam that complemented the espresso without masking its character. If I had one technical observation, the microfoam was just a touch thicker than what you'd typically expect in a competition-style cortado, but it never crossed into being foamy. It was still a very enjoyable thickness that gave the drink a satisfying mouthfeel while maintaining great integration with the espresso. The temperature was spot on and made the drink enjoyable from the first sip. Visually, the cortado was just as impressive. The latte art was clean and centered, the surface had a beautiful sheen, and the milk texture was free of distracting bubbles or excessive foam. The body also held together nicely throughout the drink instead of separating early, which is always something I pay attention to. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the café itself is spacious with a clean, comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy your coffee. Between the quality of the cortado, the attention to detail, and the hospitality, Yihui Coffee is absolutely a place I'll be returning to whenever I'm back in the area.
