This is a newly opened coffee spot. They have a small parking lot in the back. There are a few tables inside the store, and it is good place to study or to work. Servers were friendly. I ordered Tokyo fog and ube matcha latte. Tokyo fog: it is a tea base drink with matcha foam on top. The Earl Grey tea flavor is strong with a slight hint taste of Matcha. It would be a great drink for the summer as it is very refreshing. Ube Matcha latte: it was made to perfection! It has strong taste of ube and Matcha however, neither one of them were overpowering each other. My favorite ube matcha latte spot used to be in Westminster, which is very far away from where I am. The location is right on the main road and has a parking lot in the back, on a Saturday morning the parking lot was packed. The shop itself has a few tables, some people were studying/working. We got 3 drinks: strawberry matcha, biscoff latte and brown sugar latte. As a non frequent coffee drinker the brown sugar latte was actually really good and the coffee was nice and smooth. The biscoff cream latte just tasted like a typical latte, nothing really biscoff about it except the crumbs on top. The strawberry matcha was not my favorite... It seems like it is inconsistent based off other yelp reviews and photos. The drink looked promising however once it was mixed it was very milky and had a sour (?) after taste to it. The matcha itself could not be tasted and we couldn't figure out what it was but there were white chunks at the bottom when mixing the drink. Not sure if the milk went bad or if it's meant to be like that but it was not from the strawberry. Ended up not being able to drink it. I'd recommend this spot to someone who enjoys coffee, however I'd pass on the matcha. read more

Getting Cream Top Latte from the coffee option, whose coffee was tad too milky for my liking but I loved the slightly salty cream top. Stopped by during their soft opening to check out this new coffee shop. As I was waiting in line (I got there at 11 AM so there were already other people who reviewed before me), I saw that they received a couple of negative reviews already :( The cafe itself is small, which isn't unusual for a lot of newer specialty coffee spots. My biggest issue, though, was the number of flies inside. It was hard not to notice, and it definitely took away from the experience. I ordered a hojicha latte and the Strawberry Kiss Cloud Matcha. The latte was solid. I appreciated that it leaned more toward a light-medium roast instead of the darker, more bitter profiles. It was smooth and easy to drink, according to my hubby, but he was hoping for a little bit more depth and complexity. The Strawberry Kiss Cloud Matcha was just okay. Visually, it's a beautiful drink, but it was much milkier than I expected, so the matcha flavor got lost behind the milk and strawberry in my opinion. Lately, my preference has been on a stronger, more earthy match, so this one didn't quite hit the mark for me. If you enjoy milky, sweeter matcha, you might like this more than I did. Since it was soft their opening, I'm giving them some grace. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowds, which is understandable, but I do hope they can get the fly situation under contro because that was the biggest downside of the visit. Overall, it was a decent first impression. I don't regret stopping by, as I love supporting small businesses, but I am not in rush to come back. Cozy and cute cafe in Arcadia! There is a lot in the back with free parking, I believe they share it with several other restaurants so it was pretty crowded. However, easy to park and a couple spots still open on a Friday at 4 PM. There is plentiful indoor seating in the cafe - tables to study at and a bench. They also have free wifi, perfect for studying. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha was high quality and the drink came out super fast. The strawberry milk they added at the bottom doesn't make the drink overly sweet. I found that it was actually a very well balanced matcha latte! One of my favorites I've had so far. Hair in multiple drinks! I ordered 6 drinks for the office. Strawberry double Matcha has a good strawberry taste but the matcha was weak and not flavorful ("not matcha taste") Tiramisu latte, biscoff latte, and vanilla latte all had good flavor but the coffee is not strong. The lattes leaned towards more creamy and milky. Consistency was good just not strong espresso. Overall the drinks were not bad but not great. Service was fast and the people were nice, made sure to get all our orders correct. The cafe has a lot of tables thats good for study but a little bit dirty. overall: decent place to study with good drinks but the consistency of the drinks varies. drinks: we got two Tokyo fogs. mine was really good and u could taste both the earl grey and matcha without one overpowering the other. but my friend's Tokyo fog wasn't as good. we both ordered the same exact drink around 30 minutes apart both at 75% sweet. I got 100% sweetness, but this isn't what you think. It was an earl grey tea base with a matcha cream top - overall, it was a good drinking experience because the creaminess was perfect with the refreshing, aromatic tea. Id say it tasted more like a 30-50% sweet drink. There is that astringent aftertaste but I liked it. I'd love to come back to a less busy day to try more drinks! I'm really impressed with my iced latte!!! It was actually very good!!!! For reference, I like medium to dark roasts, and this definitely fit that flavor profile. I like when my coffee tastes toasty, nutty, and roasty rather than fruity and berry-like. This is probably one of the best coffee shops in Arcadia (I've tried them all). My mom liked her biscoff cream latte, and I like that you can adjust the sweetness levels and ice levels too! We asked a customer who got an egg sando if they liked it, and they said the egg part was good but the bread was not fluffy, it was like the type of bread you find at the supermarket. My suggestion to Mizuri Coffee would be to get the bread from Kee Wah Bakery right across the street! Their bread is so fluffy and delicious! Next time would ask 1/4 sweet. Other than that it was delicious. The coffee was really good. Hojicha Iced Latte was delicious! Just needed some sort of cold foam and it would have been amazing! I'm back at it again and tried a new matcha spot. Today, I believe was their soft opening and drinks were 30% off. Place is small. We got here at about 10:50 am and there was already a line. We did not have to wait very long to order, but overall wait time between ordering and getting the drinks was 40 minutes. When we ordered, the cashier informed us that they were 20 orders behind, but it would be an approximate ten minute wait time to get our drinks. Okay, sounds good. We went to Aldi's down the street to pick up a couple of things, but came back and waited an actual additional 25 minutes. The line was out the door when we came back and it was very hot inside the cafe. They had two fans going on, but today was a hot day and that didn't help much. Parking was not difficult, 5/5. Ample parking in the back of the store and we didn't have to wait for parking. We ordered 4 drinks: a strawberry matcha, hojicha latte, double matcha, and upgraded the matcha latte to the premium ceremonial with oat milk. Oat milk was a 0.75 upcharge. I didn't like the 1.00 upcharge for a hand whisk or milk subs as other cafes in the area do not charge for milk subs and their drinks are all hand whisked, but it is what it is. Here's my honest review of the drinks we got: Strawberry Matcha: 3/5 - Very sweet and slightly artificial. I do like sweet drinks, but this one was too sweet for my taste. Hojicha Latte: 2.5/5 - It tasted just okay. The drink had the Hojicha flavor, but I got that burnt taste and it was off putting to me. Double Matcha: 3/5 - Also mid as well. I am not sure if I was supposed to stir it in so that it had more balance, but it mainly tasted of foam, a bit powdery, sweet, and very grassy. The drink overall was just okay. Matcha Latte: 2.5/5 - I upgraded this to the premium ceremonial with oat milk. While the color was there (for this level), there was more to be desired for a drink that cost $8.50 overall. For this drink, the balance was off. It tasted heavily of oat milk, very grassy, and also very sweet. If I revisit in the future, I'll definitely adjust the sweetness levels to my liking. we were excited about Japanese cafe and went visit their first day, honestly so much social media hype, but the experience was disappointing. the branding makes it look like an authentic japanese cafe but when I asked about it today, I was told its only inspired by Japan. To ,e, it felt like Japanese names and matcha were used more as branding than authenticity. the dessert looked like costco products and my friend still saw the box behind the counter, Japanese cakes? we were not sure about them.
