Tried this for the first time and I can't say I will be coming back. The oolong milk tea was mostly underwhelming and lacked the aromatic flavor I wanted. My sister loves the black sugar milk tea and hokkaido milk tea. They have a strong tea flavor that's balanced out really well with whatever milk and sweetener that they use. The drinks are on the sweeter side so my go to is 75% sweet. During and after the pandemic, they closed all the indoor seating but recently came back and all the indoor seats are finally open again! It's one of the places that are opened later until 10:30pm. I've done a lot of studying here in the past and tables still can be taken a lot of times. I stumbled upon this place after having Korean bbq near by then craving some thai tea. I searched Thai tea in yelp and came across this place. It was my such a calming atmosphere inside and extremely clean and the look was fresh and pretty. The service was friendly with a smile and the woman at the cashier was also the barista. I had to comment how fast she was to make my fresh Thai tea because I had barely sat down and she had it ready. This was even after having three people ahead of me. She made all of drinks quickly and was sure to speak to each of us individually. It looked like a great place to come back and study or even do some work. As we drove eastbound on Las Tunas the other day, remembering our experience with this "interesting" escrow company at the front of the small shopping center, I noticed Nest hidden in the back... made it as far as Bradford before I blipped a fitch and went back in for a drink. No wax sealer here; Nest seems to cater to a slightly more sophisticated connoisseur of milk teas and bubble teas who fancy a regular snap-on plastic lid. Creature of habit that I am, I ordered up a boba nai cha, and they looked at me like I was made of cheese. Every now and again, I meet someone who refuses to believe I know a little Mandarin. Or maybe my accent stinks. Either way, I went with a Hokkaido milk tea... which traditionally mixes several dark teas with that caramel-ey, brown sugary sweetness of fresh milk. Usually, I don't care for something that sweet, but it was excellent. Generous scoop of boba, too. Is it me, or is this place a little less expensive than other tea joints in the area? $6 for a drink two stop lights down the street, vs. $3.50 here? No brainer. Updating my previous 5 star review. The tea is still fresh and delicious, but I'm dropping to 3 stars because they got rid of their stamp cards. I come often enough that getting a free tea every other month or so was a big perk and kept me coming back. No reward program/incentive at all will definitely lower them on my list of go-tos. I ordered the rose green tea and it's probably the strongest green tea flavor I've tasted in a tea shop-- which I personally prefer. I only wish they had a lower baseline of sweetness level.
