Tbh I normally enjoy Nest Tea House but today was not it. I typically order passionfruit mango green tea with aloe at 50% sugar (I always forget I should do 25% instead cause it's still so sweet). Tried this for the first time and I can't say I will be coming back. The oolong milk tea was mostly underwhelming and lacked the aromatic flavor I wanted. Also, the pudding was terrible and tastes cheap, the kind you make with a powder. The other tea was Hokkaido with grass jelly which was also underwhelming. one of my favorite and top boba shops of all time and especially in 626! Some of my favorite go-to drinks are the earl grey milk tea, honey green milk tea and hokkaido coffee!! My sister loves the black sugar milk tea and hokkaido milk tea. They have a strong tea flavor that's balanced out really well with whatever milk and sweetener that they use. The drinks are on the sweeter side so my go to is 75% sweet. During and after the pandemic, they closed all the indoor seating but recently came back and all the indoor seats are finally open again! It's one of the places that are opened later until 10:30pm. I've done a lot of studying here in the past and tables still can be taken a lot of times. It was my such a calming atmosphere inside and extremely clean and the look was fresh and pretty. The service was friendly with a smile and the woman at the cashier was also the barista. I had to comment how fast she was to make my fresh Thai tea because I had barely sat down and she had it ready. This was even after having three people ahead of me. She made all of drinks quickly and was sure to speak to each of us individually. It looked like a great place to come back and study or even do some work. I also like getting the sea salt green tea or the guava green tea. Occasionally I get the rose green milk tea which is also amazing. I like black tea a lot, but Nest Tea's drinks tend to be pretty caffeinated which is why I stick to the green tea. I would say the service is tolerable, nothing special, but they always make my drinks exactly as expected, which is most important to me.
