A great boba shop even after all these years. Their drinks are consistent and the quality has been there. My favorites are the rose GT, guava GT, and the GT with the hokkaido cream top. Top it off with their mango star jellies and you won't be disappointed! I recommend 30/50% sweetness.

    Wintermelon Green Tea with Boba

Nest Tea has been one of my favorite bubble tea spots for years, and it's truly one of Arcadia's hidden gems. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the wonderfully fragrant aroma of freshly brewed tea. The shop features a clean, minimalist interior with a handful of tables, making it a great place to study, get some work done, or simply relax with a drink. What keeps me coming back, though, is the consistently friendly service and the outstanding quality of the drinks. **Wintermelon Green Tea with Boba: 5/5** This was an exceptionally well-balanced drink that showcased the best of both flavors. The wintermelon contributed a subtle smoky, caramelized sweetness with delicate sweet gourd notes, while the green tea balanced it beautifully with a floral, earthy finish that kept the drink light and refreshing. Soft and pleasantly chewy, the boba provided the perfect textural contrast to the fragrant tea. I also really appreciated how accommodating the staff was. They happily customized my drink by blending green tea with the wintermelon and even had me sample it beforehand to make sure the flavor was exactly what I was looking for. That level of care and commitment to quality is something you don't see everywhere. After countless visits over the years, Nest Tea continues to be one of the best boba shops in the area. From its thoughtfully crafted drinks to its attentive service, every visit has been consistently enjoyable. It's the kind of neighborhood tea shop that keeps you coming back, one perfectly brewed cup at a time.

This is such a cute, quiet cafe; literally a hole in the wall type of place. I originally went here to use my SGV passport and my drink was so delish that I decided to get a mango slush. (It's currently super hot now so the slush was verrrrrrry refreshing) if you enjoy quiet, simple cafes this is the place for you! It's great if you really need a quiet place to study or need to get work done. It's a little hidden in a small plaza but there's lots of parking in the back if you can't find any in the front!

A taste of Hawaii! We visited Nest to get a stamp on my daughter's Boba passport. I got the guava green tea, can I tell you AMAZING! Great refresher on a hot day, just enough sweetness and the flavor was superb. Boba drink was on point with sweetness and the Boba was fresh. Pleasant and kind service. Definitely will return!

Tried this for the first time and I can't say I will be coming back. The oolong milk tea was mostly underwhelming and lacked the aromatic flavor I wanted. Also, the pudding was terrible and tastes cheap, the kind you make with a powder. The other tea was Hokkaido with grass jelly which was also underwhelming. The jelly didn't taste like grass jelly and texture wise not as silky as it usually is.

Stopped by to grab a drink after eating at Ho Kee Cafe next door. Not really a spot I'd hang out or chill at since the interior isn't that appealing, but the drinks themselves were solid. We got a smoothie with mango jelly and a milk tea with jelly -- both were tasty and refreshing. The portions are generous, served in pretty large cups, though they'll run you about $7.50 each. Overall, not bad!

Free parking on lot. Good place to study or hang out. Music isn't too loud. They have 8 tables and outlets between the tables. The honey lemon tea was alright. Used to be better. The matcha slush barely had any matcha, it was mostly milk and sugar. The mango black tea could've been better. The drink quality has gone down. Come to hang out or study, not for the drinks.

This was a pretty chill spot and a service was quick! Free parking. There were tables and chairs for people to sit down and perhaps work on something. (May need to wipe tables before using.) I do think the drinks are quite sweet. At 50%, it felt like something between 100% to 75%. So it should be safe to ask for even lesser sugar if you prefer your drinks not too sweet.

Tucked away in the corner of the plaza, it's easy to miss. There is free parking and not hard to get a spot. Inside, it is pretty quiet with plenty of tables and seating to sit and work from. Decor is nice and trendy. I got the green milk tea, one of their top 10 drinks. I asked for half sugar and half ice but it still was too sweet for me. It tasted pretty creamy and had a hint of tea taste.

Quick drink for the road and was pleased with my honey oolong milk tea (75% sweet ofc)! Very quiet spot for students to study or chit chat. Also.. I have a boba shop hypothesis. 9 times out of 10.. the best drinks come from the most unenthused and half hearted bobaristas who look like they have other places to be.

    Xaree R.

Boba was great, service was fast, ambiance is very fast The boba pearls its self are probably the best I have every had! We got the 2 Hokkaido coffees and they were amazing. We got a green milk tea, rose milk tea, and ice cream milk tea. Rose was my top favorite the the The bathroom is incredibly unpleasant, it feels like it has not been cleaned since the place opened, even finding a video on how to properly clean a commercial bathroom would be great

    Yes

    Can they cater?

    Yes

Is this related to the new San Gabriel location?

    Yes :)

How is this business handling the re-opening?What safety measures are they taking? Are they offering dine-in?

No dine in yet . Still mask require for customers

Do they no longer have almond milk tea? :(

    Yes :(

Looking to be more waste conscious. Do they fill in drinks if you byoc (bring your own cup), offer discounts, or any of those sorts of incentives?

    Unfortunately no

So they have plentiful outlets to charge up? Also if there a lot of ppl is the WiFi like a dinosaur

unlike other tea places, their wifi has never failed me lol

Do they use real milk for their milk teas? Also do they allow a no sugar option?

    Yes

Can I bring my own cup?

    No. No one does

How good (how fast) is the WiFi? I need a decent connection speed to study on my laptop. Please give me good feedback. Thanks!

Pretty damn good that I've never had to leave due to WiFi issues. There's also 2 routers I think?

You guys have great teas. Are you considering giving customers a discount for refills, i.e. $1? I would definitely come by more if you are.

You definitely can taste the rich tea fragrance notes in each of their drinks. So far, I've tried their One Tea Signature blend milk tea and their Orchis oolong tea with coconut cloud. I also especially love their popping barley topping. It's a unique spin to the traditional boba. It's refreshing a fun to eat. We also got their walnut custard cake, which was a nice treat. They are slightly crispy on the outside, yet pleasantly moist on the inside. The custard inside added just the right about of sweetness. To finish each mini cake off, each contain bits of actual walnuts on the inside, which really made this dessert well worth it. The only reason I am knocking off a star is because of their staff. They were not very friendly or communicative. The majority of the time, they really tried to avoid making eye contact with the customers. This makes the experience feel awkward and unwelcoming.

For a shop that charges premium prices for its drinks, I expected a much better customer experience. The barista's tone came across as dismissive and irritated, which made the interaction even more unpleasant. I still enjoy Chi Cha San Chen as a brand, but this visit was disappointing enough that I definitely won't be before returning to this location.
