I ordered jasmine milk tea and I've nothing to complain about. The service is very friendly, she even brought the drink over to me. The sweetness level was perfect. I would definitely come back to try their other teas as well as their food as they have many food options. The restaurant is located in a large plaza so parking wasn't too hard. Drinks were ready when we got there but the lady behind the counter decided to serve people who came after us even though we walked in first. The drinks are decent here. I got the jasmine milk tea and a mango slushie. The jasmine milk tea had a good amount of milk, but the tea flavor got lost and could be more pronounced. The mango slushie was disappointing, the diced mango that was topped on the drink was brown and definitely not fresh. When he first walk in there is a giant kiosk where you can place your orders there. They also have a couple of food delivery service. Looks like a lot of people were using Postmates or fantuan. I had placed my order online and it did in fact take a while. I ordered a lot of food items and it seemed like they were extremely busy. So it took about 30 minutes for it to get ready however that is what the estimated time was on the app. All the drinks are good and the food is solid. We came here for dessert and popcorn chicken after eating a nice large dinner in this mall at the Meno Jiao Club restaurant, which is across the mall by the Daiso Store. We bought a basque cheesecake and any flavor milk tea combo for $10.99 total ($9.99 plus $1 for the milk tea). The cheesecake with a berry flavored topping, was quite delicious, and the white peach milk tea paired well with it. We sat in the booth chairs near the front of the store and we enjoyed chatting away without needing to rush out. The lady behind the counter brought our drinks and food to us, she was very nice. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & HORRIBLE BOBA. I tried this place for the first time and will not be coming back here. I ordered at the cashier because someone was using the kiosk. I got a passion fruit green tea with boba. After I paid for it, I saw on the receipt that I was charged a "credit card fee". I did not see a sign nor did the cashier tell me. I went to the kiosk and ordered the same thing and it didn't charge me a credit card fee at all (it only accepts credit cards). When I informed the lady, she didn't understand what I was talking about and I had to explain it to her 3 times and walked her to the kiosk to show her. She said she voided it in the system and told me to repurchase it from the kiosk. She said I'll get my refund in 3 days. It's been 1.5 weeks and i did not get a refund. So I basically paid for 1 boba double the price. When I called them, they told me to come in and try to explain it. I'm not coming in. I disputed it with my bank. Now the boba. The boba itself took up 60% of my cup and it was rock hard. The tea wasn't good at all. My husband saw I barely drank it and tasted it himself and gave a look of disapproval. In need of a cool down on a hot afternoon and there was Meet Tea to the rescue. Located in a very busy plaza on Rosemead and Las Tunas, parking can be hard to find in the large lot. We planned to stop into several shops in the plaza, so we parked at one location and walked to Meet Tea. Walked into the brightly lit space and was greeted right away. The space was much larger than I had expected. A couple cozy booths to the left of the register and a multitude of tables to the right. This place clearly gets packed at some point with this much seating. This was our first time so we had to take a couple minutes to review the menu. We weren't really in the mood for milk tea so we landed on a Honeydew Smoothie. We were offered a cute tote bag for free and sat at one of the booths to wait. Within minutes our Honeydew Smoothie was on the counter. The first sip was heavenly. Surely hit the spot. The sweet, creamy melon flavor reminded me of the Melon pops. Loved it! I am confused why this place has such high stars. Went during dinner and it was empty, with two workers. It seemed they did not know English as were concerned there was service fee for using their electronic order machine in the front. We asked if we could just order from them directly without a convenience fee, and English seemed to be an issue here, and said the service fee is same. When we got the drinks, the agar boba was good. The drinks were overall watered down. My drink had pomelo, but it wasn't cut up in way where I can drink it with my straw. I had to manually smash it with my straw. Meet Tea is one of the newer businesses in the busy Temple City plaza, serving up their fine teas and snacks. They have so many options on their menu, it was hard to choose. I tried their Signature Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (large) and Hong Kong Milk Tea (small). The milk teas were severely watered down and I could hardly taste the tea. However, the boba was nice and chewy. They also had an XL buckets which looked fun. The store has lots of spacious seating and charging ports for people looking to cowork or study. To start off, this is the first place my coworkers and I have ordered from through Uber Eats that SCOLDED ME for picking up my ALREADY PAID order late. Even so, when I got there, the front desk person didn't even have everything bagged yet (everything was just sitting there on the counter). He was bagging my food and drinks while scolding me that I was late to pick up my ALREADY PAID order saying that it took up alot of space on the counter. From what I saw, there wasn't just my order there. There were other people orders too that weren't pick up yet. Customer service, horrible, especially the person himself didn't even bagged everything up yet, and still SCOLD A PAYING CUSTOMER for a late pickup. I had to stand there and waited for him to finish bagging my stuff before I could leave. If I didn't pay for it yet then it made sense for me being late becuase they might think that I might not show up to pay. BUT I PAID FOR IT ALREADY! Now, moving on to the drinks and food. I got 5 drinks. They made 2 of them wrong. One of the lychee yakult, according to my coworker who wanted that drink, didnt even recognized the drink. It wasn't the white milky color like the picture. The taste, he said it has no yakult and just weak lychee flavored drink (they somewhat got the lychee right atleast). My second coworker also got the lychee. For some reason, the cheese foam curdled and got lumpy (same as the first, no yakult, weak lychee water, so it shouldn't have strong enough acid to curdle the milk in the cheese foam). The other coworker ordered a drink with cheese foam. There was no cheese foam. My drink had the clear jelly and the normal boba. The normal boba was hard and the clear one smells like pastic when it came throught the straw. The chicken and the squid, $12.99 per order. Each came in a small boxes that were half full. Only 1 drink was good and that coworker was nice about it. Overall review, my workers and I spent about $60 for food and drinks from them. They all agreed to never go back there again. One even mentioned that Bon Appetea Cafe has their munchies combo for only about $11 and is bigger than Meet Tea's popcorn chicken and squid combined. First time in this boba place. Drinks were made just right. I got the Chrysanthemum Honey Tea 75% sweet and it was just perfect. Fast service and a cute shop to be at. TLDR: 1. Staff unfamiliar with menu 2. Negligent 3. For some reason continues to forget the boba 4. Gave the wrong drink but won't do anything about the mistake 5. 40 minutes for 3 drinks Walked in to order an oolong milk tea, first off the guy at the register needed us to point at what we wanted on the menu. BUT there was a tub of boba sitting right there! He then filled the top of our drinks with boba, the excess boba didn't allow the caps to close causing major spillage. I tried my drink - oolong milk tea - and it definitely tastes like Jasmine green tea. I had my group try it and they all agreed it tasted nothing like Oolong. I went up and asked the server if there was any chance they mixed up my drink because I ordered oolong but got jasmine, he responded with "sorry no boba." What????? I stated again that I ordered Oolong milk tea but I was given Jasmine milk tea. He said "no it's oolong milk tea" as he laughed and shrugged - his coworker standing behind him just LAUGHING. We did not receive it otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. The server then puts his hands on his head saying "oooohh no" we're assuming he mixed up the orders. We wait another 5 minutes and we get the drink, again with no boba when it was ordered. - they also forgot to put boba on the previous order before ours as the customers came back to ask for the boba they ordered.
