Quick service and great tea quality. It is a small location but located across from the back of Gabrielino High School. I enjoy ordering online and picking up and they are done really quick surprisingly. Quick where my tea quality is still up to par and not ruined. Their jasmine tea and tie guanyin oolong milk tea is not bad and has tea flavor even though it is regular sweet. I will come back to this location for sure.
I've been coming to Sunright Tea Studio since their soft opening, and it's been amazing watching them grow while keeping their quality consistent. Out of all the drinks on the menu, my go-to will always be their fruit teas. You can truly never go wrong with them. They're refreshing, perfectly balanced, and never overly sweet... just clean, bright flavors that hit every time. What keeps me coming back (besides the nostalgia of being there from the beginning) is the consistency. Whether it's busy or slow, the drinks always taste the way they should. If you're unsure what to order, you really can't miss with any of their fruit teas. Still one of my top spots when I'm craving something refreshing. As you can see, I bring extras for later.
A review that is long overdue, one of the many Sunright spots I've been to, this one is definitely the smallest one of all. Parking here is pretty compact, small lot at the back but most times I've visited, I always parked on the street, since it's close by. This time around, my partner and I visited for check out a HI3 collaboration. Sunright does collaborations pretty often in a years frame, and each collab always comes with some freebies, usually coasters and/or stickers, etc. We purchased two drinks which comes with stickers, coasters, and a polaroid of one of the characters but unfortunately, they were all out of the polaroid. Regardless, a great collaboration with a popular game, coasters are better quality than the more generic plastic/paper ones from before so that's a plus. We ordered the Strawberry Honey Boba Milk Tea & Lemon Yakult w/ Jasmine Tea Jelly. Both drinks took a bit to come out which is understandable due to a new drink to make. Cups are always a standout point with Sunright and this collaboration didn't disappoint. Very cute design and very sturdy. As for the drink itself, pretty decent, strawberry honey drink is sweet despite sugar adjustment, although very refreshing. The Lemon Yakult is good but nothing over the top, tasted like a Yakult (obviously) with a hint of lemon. Perfect adjustment of 50% sugar. You can always count on Sunright for decent quality boba, and this spot is no different. If you have the choice, definitely check this spot out, can't go wrong with Sunright.

Amazing drinks. I'm a fatass and tried like 6 in one sitting, and the best is the mango frostie. However, the blue heaven frostie and matcha frostie were good too. (I like frostie ) anyway, a little pricey, but a place I will go back to frequently. Easy 5 star if I wasn't broke and can't afford this every day.
Pricey but the norm. My go to is the taro frostie whenever I want something milky. I usually get the grapefruit tea for something refreshing. The online ordering through the Local by Toast app makes ordering and picking up super convenient. The place is a small little shop that can get crowded during busy hours. The location is convenient to go in and pick up. Service is always quick and the staff is always kind. I was hesitant to try my sisters white peach oolong but was pleasantly surprised by the taste. The white peach was not overpowering and the drink itself was not too sweet with 100% sweetness. Highly recommend trying this place since they offer a variety of items from Oreo frosties to fruit teas. Parking in the front can be a hassle but I would suggest the side street on Wells. For two drinks + tip our total came out to $13.80
The drinks are always consistent in flavor, but sometimes when i order blended drinks they aren't properly blended so I do get chunks of ice here and there. My current favorite is the matcha frostie, it comes with a generous amount of brûlée. Paired with Oreo bits makes it an amazing drink/dessert! This location is relatively small so if you order at the store and there's lots of ppl it gets pretty tight. I recommend ordering online if you can.
This review is long overdue! I really like Sunright Tea because it's super convenient to order through their website--whenever I'm craving boba, I can get it pretty quickly. Plus, they're popping up everywhere now, so it's nice knowing I can find a solid drink almost anywhere. I really enjoy the brew of their tea. One of my go-to drinks is the Fruit Tea (no added sugar, less ice, no fruit slices, with jasmine jelly). I also love their mochi topping paired with oolong tea. I've had a good share of their drinks, and honestly, I haven't had a bad one yet. I guess you could say, with Sunright, they always hit the tea-spot!
This place is so small in the corner, and its in San Gabriel . They only makes drink and they don't even take cash here at this place. and service is ok no complaint. Ambience is very small place, they have a kiosk you can order and pay by credit card only at this locations. No table or chairs at all. This has inconvenient parking lot as well.
On 2/23/25 @ 12pm I wanted to purchase a bulk order of a few half gallons online, but on the website it stated it wasn't available. I wasn't sure if there was a problem with the website on my end, so to be sure, I called Sunright for assistance. A young gentlemen picked up the phone and I asked why the bulk orders aren't available online and if there was something wrong with the website. He rudely told me he's receiving orders on his end just fine and the problem was on my end. I responded to his comment by saying I've tried a few times, even waiting a few minutes after the store has opened, to make sure the website was fully up and running. He then rudely said, "well it's not available!" and immediately hung up the phone. I called back asking why he hung up on me and that I wasn't finished speaking to him. He said he already told me the half gallons aren't available and had nothing else to say. Since I did not get a clear answer or an explanation why it wasn't available, I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager, which then he replied with, "You're speaking to him." I proceeded to ask for his name, but he stayed silent. I kept repeating hello, hello a couple times but there was no answer and then he hung up on me again. I went back to the website and I was finally able to place the bulk order for pick up even after he said it was unavailable. I went to pick up the order and spoke to another employee, who was there working with him, and explained to her the situation (I did not ask for her name). While talking to her, I noticed he did not acknowledge me or speak up on his rude behaviors. I've been to this location multiple times ordering 3-4 drinks at a time and even ordered bulk for an event of 100+ guests this past November. Since I had a wonderful experience in the past, I've raved about their services to my family, friends, and coworkers and encourage them to order here for special events/parties. Because of the awful experience, I will no longer be recommending this place, encourage people to pick a different place (there's plenty of boba shops in the SGV area) and will be taking my business elsewhere.
This Sunright location is probably the smallest one compared to others that I visited. There is a small parking lot in the back, but I decided to park on the street since it looked pretty tight. I visited around 8 PM on a weekday. There is a single kiosk available right when you walk through the door. After ordering, I waited outside. When ready, they announced the order on the speaker, which you could hear outside. It was ready in about 5 minutes. I ordered the Oreo Brulee Boba Milk tea with 25% sugar and less ice. It tasted great, but I'll probably get it a bit sweeter and with more ice next time. It seems their way of making it less sweet is by adding less Oreo. As a result, it does taste a bit different than the other locations.
A small shop on the corner of the street, my friends and I come to this Sunright as a default option for boba. Same as the franchises other drinks, this location also serves good boba and milk tea. The matcha oolong I had a good creaminess and wasn't too sweet, and I didn't have to wait very long for my drink. It does get busy at times, but the line never gets too long so come here if you want convenient and good boba.

Been a year since my last update and happy to say that I'm still very pleased with their drinks! They're open daily 12-9pm and it's fairly small so it's an "order & go" place, not a study or hang out spot. Parking can be difficult since their parking lot is small but there is nearby street parking. Love that they have online ordering, as well as kiosks inside to order, which makes it very easy and convenient. Got the Fruit Tea with less ice and 25% sugar. Loved how it wasn't too sweet and tasted so refreshing. Really enjoyed the freshly brewed tea and orange juice, as well as the passion fruit, lemon and orange slices. The Sunright Boba Milk Tea with less ice and 25% sugar was great. The tea was very fragrant and not too overpowering. Really enjoyed how it wasn't too milky or sweet. The boba was very soft, fresh, and chewy. Overall, I was very pleased with my drinks and would definitely recommend and return. read more

There's no denying that boba flows through my veins and a place like Sunright only adds to the obsession. This location is tiny - very little parking is available on the streets and this being situated next to a high school means they get BUSY after school gets out. You have enough space to order either at the counter or on the kiosk, with the latter being preferred. On my recent visit, they ran out of boba on a Friday afternoon and I was gutted. I still went with another topping with my Oolong Milk Tea with Soy Milk, which was a solid substitute but not quite the same without my black pearls. Tea quality was fantastic and I enjoyed my drink. However, my friend ordered their Grapefruit Tea with Boba and omg... one of the best fruit teas that I've ever had from a boba shop. I immediately regretted relying on my milk tea to quench my thirst and should have gone the fruity route. I'm taking note for the next time I am in the area. read more

This is the second sunright that I've been to. Parking is available right next to the storefront. When you first walk in, you'll smell and feel the muggyness inside. They need some type of air or ventilation. There's no indoor seating available and didn't seem like there's outdoor seating either. It's a very small space inside and prob can fit like 5 people without getting claustrophobic. You order from the kiosk that is right by the front door. The drink tastes exactly the same as the other Sunright in Monterey park but I like cleanliness of MP location better. read more

Small boba place street corner. Surprisingly so many take out order. I walked in to get my Boba taro frostie drink still waited for 19 mins. That's ok because I know people love and like this place No food just drinks. Taro slush is my favorite. I can take the taro itself. Ambiance is dainty. Very tiny place no way to seat . Out of all the Sunright locations I've personally been to, this one definitely has to be the smallest one. There's like 4-5 parking spots next to the store but if you're not comfortable driving/parking in small spaces I would definitely recommend NOT parking there. There's street parking, but depending on the time of day, you might have to walk a long way to the store. I had to walk a bit since there were a lot of cars parked on the streets that day. Inside: Actually so small, might fit like max 5 people. It was FILLED when I opened the door. Drinks: My go-to drink is Mango Frostie. Idk if a previous customer had one of their chocolate drinks and the blender was used and the worker didn't get a chance to rinse the blender properly and then blended my drink. But my drink tasted like chocolate(?). I'm not sure if it was bc I came on a busy day but my drink was overall a bit of a disappointment, it tasted chalky and like chocolate. I've gotten this drink over 20 times so I know what my drink should taste like. Maybe I came on the wrong day. read more
This location is always quick and delicious. I'll usually order online but they have convenient contactless order terminals. Note that the interior space is very limited and does not have any seating. Ideal for picking up drinks for Togo. Also this location states it does not have coffee items available. Parking could be an issue depending on how busy they are. read more
Located across the street from Gabrielino High School this is a pretty solid tea place. It's small and you have to order through the kiosk. I got the chocolate Oreo creme brûlée with 0% sugar and less ice and it was perfect. We got agar boba as well for free as I guess it was included. Prices are a tad high but the drink was good. I assume it could be crowded when the school gets out. read more

Came on a weekday to take advantage of a collab event. This location is very small and felt very stuffy. Parking in the back was limited as well. Definitely feels like a to-go boba place. Place wasn't busy so I didnt have to wait long for my drink. The Lemon Yakult drink wasnt too sour which is good, and I felt the crystal boba complimented the drink quite well. Lastly, I was able to get my collab cup holder so I left satisfied. read more

:: Drinks :: I really like how Sunright makes their Oolong Milk Teas, just the right amount of creaminess. Then my coworker introduced me to their Brulee Oat Lattes! So good, I appreciate when a drink's default milk option is oat! Their Matcha Oolong Milk Tea is great as well. Any fruit tea lovers will enjoy the Sunright Fruit Tea, which they are popular for. Sad to see they no longer have the Coffee Milk Tea on the menu. :: Service :: Every staff I've encountered has been pretty nice. Service is also pretty quick if there's no line. :: Parking :: I recommend street parking in front of the shop or around the corner. Their lot is pretty small. :: Overall :: Great spot that gets the drink right most of the time. Too bad there's no outdoor seating for the people who want to enjoy their drink right then and there. :: Tip :: Order on their online website for a faster in-store pickup process! I ordered their classic Sunright Boba Milk Tea. The service is really quick, we only waited a couple minutes before our drinks came out. There's a constant flow of people stopping by. This location is really small, it probably only fits 10 people inside. It's definitely a takeout spot only. The boba was pretty good, but a little overly chewy for me. Nothing against the workers, all of them are super sweet and helpful. My issue is that the owners decided to hotbox their them and make it almost impossible to work in there. Knowing how popular the place is and how the summer is coming up, you would think that there would be better conditions in such a cramped space. I come here often, at least twice a week because of my workplace and the drinks are always made properly. I order either the Matcha Frostie w/ Honey Boba, the Oreo Brûlée Milk Tea w/ Brown Sugar Boba, or just a regular Milk Tea w/ Honey Boba. Service, convenience, and quality are always great! I'm just disappointed that their workers have to go through that. read more

It was okay but kinda disappointing. My jasmine oat milk tea was slightly bitter and just didn't taste that great. My husband wasn't the biggest fan of his tea either. read more
I have a yummy order for you to try if you happen to be lactose intolerant like me! I don't always order milk alternatives because to me, the drink IS worth the stomach-ache sometimes, but this order that I share here is delicious! Sunright Boba Milk Tea 100% Regular Ice NO Brown sugar boba (included) Honey Boba Californiafarms Oat Milk I didn't feel like having brown sugar boba in my drink, but normally it is great! This is an order recommendation if you are craving honey + BMT and you're lactose intolerant. Just -1 star because I am a boba snob and I just prefer the quality of BMT from boba guys or Bopomofo Cafe more. I feel this comes down to the quality of the tea, but Sunright is always deliciously consistent across all locations and hits the spot. Will be back again!! read more

It was my first time at Sunright and I am so glad I came! This location is a bit odd. It's a super small spot that probably only has room for 1-2 people inside. The parking lot is really inconvenient so I would suggest parking on the street. There's a self-ordering kiosk that isn't kind to tall people. I can see this place getting crowded during peak hours and people having to wait a while since there's only one kiosk able to take orders. But logistics aside, the boba here is terrific. I got the brown sugar boba milk with 50% sweetness and it was delicious. Even with 50% sugar, it was still very sweet so I question their recommendation of 100% sweetness. It seems like all drinks come with boba so you don't have to tack that on as an extra. The boba itself was chewy and had great consistency throughout. All in all, this is a great unassuming spot to grab boba. I'll definitely check out their other locations. read more

Place is superrr small, feels squished even when there's only 5 people inside. Service was fast. Kiosk kinda sucks, glitches a lot. Would recommend mobile ordering if you don't like waiting in line in small places. read more

This specific sunright is located next to Gabrielino highschool and is to-go only. It has a tiny back parking lot and can be difficult to park in during their prime hours. I would recommend finding street parking if that's the case. I ordered the strawberry green tea with 75% sweetness and oolong matcha milk tea at 100% sweetness. The strawberry green tea was perfect. However, I noticed that they forgot to add syrup/sugar in my sister's oolong matcha milk tea, when I asked if they could remake it, the barista told me that he couldn't since we drank it already. He then offered to give me the syrup in a separate cup so that we could add it in ourselves??? I was baffled because how would we do that (the lid is sealed on with plastic lol we would literally have to unseal it and have an big open top..) After exchanging some concerning eye contact with my sister and awkward silence with the barista...he finally agreed to remake us a new drink. Definitely not super happy with the service, but the new drink tasted fine. read more
