Recently tried 3cat and I've been obsessed ever since. My go-to is the matcha mochi but I've also tried mango mochi and cheese berry. Highly recommend the cheese berry, definitely not something you can get at any regular boba spot. Love 3cat, they never disappoint!
Drinks 10/10 Drinks are fantastic and unique. Have been coming here to pick up drinks for my family for over a year now and their drink are consistently delicious and sweetness can be adjusted. My family especially loves the -Avomangp -Matcha Mochi -Mango Mochi -Jasmine Matcha The mochi is layered throughout the drink and breaks up the sweetness. It's also softer and less dense than boba so you don't have to chew as much. Service 6/10 There can be a bit of a wait, but the staff and system are organized and efficient. During a rush hour (like evening after dinner), except the wait to be 20-45 minutes depending on what you order and how busy it is. Ambiance 7/10 It's clean with a bit of a cat themed aesthetic. There is a parking lot located behind the business. If there isn't room to sit at the tables, there's usually room at the long bench.
The avocado mango sweet dew is delicious! Got it 50% sweet and it tasted perfect! You can order online and pick up at store. Parking is tough and there's street parking available as well
I ordered avocado mango smoothie and my friend got the mochi mango drink. Both were so good. The best part was that we didn't have to wait this time every time I come by there's usually a long line so we were really lucky. Our drinks came out pretty quickly, and they definitely lived up to the hype fresh refreshing, and perfect for a hot day. Parking isn't the easiest but it's manageable if you're a little patient.
BOGO Sunlit Mango Glow 4/30 and 5/1 Super fresh mango and very flavorful smoothie. Couldn't taste much of the passion fruit though. I got it with less sugar and the sweetness level was fine. VERY long wait time even though it was already 7:30pm! Waited 17 min (felt much longer). Entered from the back parking lot which was very small and also full. Luckily, I found street parking right next to the parking lot. It wasn't very apparent where the back entrance is. I just went through an open door where the inside walls look pale yellow/beige. Glad it was the right entrance. I ordered through the kiosk which didn't have a line, but there were many people waiting for their orders inside. Lots of bench seating space for waiting. $9.24 for BOGO is still kind of pricey. I can't imagine paying that just for one drink without the deal. It was pretty good and perfect for mango-lovers but not sure I would get it again, especially at regular price.
This is one of my favorite boba tea spots for sure. I've visited many times with my husband and we've only had positive experiences. The consistency of this store is impressive. We usually order through Snackpass to avoid long wait times. There are many good drinks here, but the ones I would recommend most are Mochi Matcha, Avomango Sweet Dew, and Jade Matcha. I find that the drinks are creative and well-balanced with enjoyable textures. I really like the selection of toppings as well. My favorite topping is probably the barley popping boba. Although this location specifically is kind of small, it can still be a good spot to hang out for small groups. It does get pretty crowded inside on weekends and weeknights, so I tend to pick up and go instead. A free parking lot is behind the store.
Dragon Well Milk Tea My first time trying it! less sugar, no ice, and Straus organic milk. First sip was honestly quite good. It had this strong toasted soybean, which was quite interesting! But once I gave it a stir, it totally changed. All the sugar must have been sitting at the bottom because it suddenly became way too sweet for me, even though I ordered "less sugar." Next time I'd go down to 25% sugar.

I already love the texture of barley in the drinks but their milk tea is also my favorite. I m so happy to see quite often now a day that these new boba shop use this type of tea leaf for their milk teas. This is no doubt one of my favorites boba shops.
Out of all the 3CATEA spots, this is one of my favorites. What used to be Bambu is now 3CATEA. This shop has moderate size compared to the others with plenty of seating inside. The decorations inside are very cute and nice vibes overall. Plus points for self ordering kiosks to avoid long wait times as this shop gets busy very often. Ordering online via Snackpass is highly recommended as well. Parking can be found in the rear lot, street parking, and curbside parking is available as well. I love this spot specifically, very quick with orders, friendly staff, and drinks are pretty great here. I have plenty of go to drinks here but the stand out is definitely the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea. It's super refreshing, and a drink that I always prefer whenever I can't decide on other choices. This spot is very cute overall, very modern and easy to order. Perfect grab and go type boba shop, no complaints overall and one of my top spots around SGV.
Parking lot available in the back. This place seems to get pretty busy! Had to wait about 10-15 mins for my drink. Got the biscotti milk tea which was a bit on a sweeter side but I had no problem with it. It was refreshing and milky! I definitely would want to try their other popular drinks again
I love the Jade matcha drink so much! It's the perfect combination of flora and matcha! The regular sweetness is just right. I like their skinny straws because it really helps bring out the aromatic flavors. Super convient ordering via the two kiosks provided.

I was really excited about this place because it was one of the popular boba places in SGV. My experience overall was alright, I think I need to try a different drink because the one I got, which was the mango mochi, didn't really give me a great impression. There was too much going on for me in the drink where I wasn't sure what to really enjoy. The drink itself was pretty thick, creamy and sweet where it felt like a chunky smoothie--which wasn't what I was going for at the time. That's on me lol The service there was okay, we ordered from the self-serving machine so not much interaction. Drinks were made in a timely matter. It was a cute spot to hang with friends or partners, can get a little loud and parking is a little difficult. I really like their cat decor haha I would like to give this place another chance since I only had one drink, but we shall see.

10/10 -- This Place Does NOT Miss! There is something about this place and the way their workers run things because we've been here a handful of times... and WHY is it that their drinks are on point EVERY. SINGLE. TIME?! I don't know if they're just extremely well-trained or what, but I'm telling you... consistency is REAL here! Hubby's usual favorite is the Rice Frost, but we overheard they were running a sweet little BOGO deal that ended today, so of course we had to investigate. Frosty Mango Sticky Rice -- $7.90 for 2 with BOGO | 10/10 This drink was TO. DIE. FOR. I am such a mango girly, and if you combine mango + sticky rice, you already have my attention. But putting it into a drink?! GAME OVER. It was creamy, sweet, refreshing, and packed with that mango sticky rice flavor. Honestly, this drink was literally a meal in a cup! And the fact that we got TWO drinks for $7.90 with the BOGO deal?! AIN'T NO WAY. What a steal! We did have a little plot twist, though. The other drink featured in the BOGO, the Silky Green Pro, had unfortunately run out by the time we arrived, so this was the only option left. Honestly? I wasn't even mad because this mango drink completely stole the show! We arrived around 1:15 PM and didn't get our drinks until around 2:05 PM. There were A LOT of people ordering, and they were absolutely cranking out drinks the entire time. I can totally understand why they eventually closed off online orders because they were BUSY busy! By the time you're reading this, the BOGO deal has probably been over for five hours anyway... so if you missed it, I'm sorry for rubbing it in. The kiosk ordering system was quick and easy, and everything is pretty much grab-and-go once your drink is ready. Despite the wait today, I have to give them major kudos because every single time we've come here, the drinks have been consistently GOOD. That kind of consistency deserves recognition! . Ambiance is like any other drink spot, a bit small inside if you ask me. Definitely coming back, and yes... I'm already thinking about that mango sticky rice drink again. I can't believe it's taken me this long to come here, but I finally tried the mango mochi drink, and it is incredible! The mango adds a nice freshness and tartness to the drink. I did adjust the sweetness, and I do think by adjusting the sweetness, I got less mango puree, so I actually recommend not doing that. The mochi pieces are so chewy and add such a fun texture to the drink, and it really makes it more like a dessert. The remaining milk shake after the mango and mochi pieces are gone, is still really good, but there were a little bit of ice chunks at the end. The cafe has a really cute minimal cat café theme. You can order drinks online and it will be ready by the time you go and pick it up. There's also a parking lot and service is nice too. read more
3 Catea is another one of my goto places. I usually go there for their Mango Dew tea served cold. It comes with chunks of Mango along with a foam cream topping with your choice of boba or something mixed into it. I usually get less to max out on the drink, as ice takes up too much volume. Lol. And I also less sugar. But of course it's up to you on how you like your drinks prepared. Yes, regular sugar and regular ice is good. I'm just trying to cut down on my sugar intake. Other drinks I've tried was their Mango Mochi, which is also one of my picks, Barley tea hot which is a bit bland and not something I would order again, the Silky Grape drink which is a bit overrated imo, and I probably won't order that again. They use to have a Pear Tea with boba served cold awhile back. But I it got discontinued and I'm not sure why. That imo was a good drink. Maybe because I like eating pears. Lol. 3Catea is good place to go. They have a good size items selection in their menu. You get to order with their kiosk which is simple. Most orders takes around twenty to make after your order. It really depends on how busy they get. I'm happy to say that this is one of my favorite places to go for my mango boba fix. read more
I came here and ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Latte on the kiosk. The service was extremely fast, and I got my drink within minutes. There is seating to sit and wait for the order. The latte was very good. They do have a parking lot in the back of the store, but I prefer to park on the street by the houses past the construction. ORDER mochi mango (5/5) this is my current fixation!! soooo addicting. it's not overly sweet and so refreshing. i love the mochi and the mango tastes fresh. the only issue was a piece of hair in my drink... but they had a $1.99 drink deal that day so maybe they were rushing out orders and weren't careful. luckily, i noticed right away and got my drink remade. they didn't apologize or anything, just simply remade the drink. SERVICE always super busy, but the drinks come out fast. you can order online on snackpass. AMBIANCE the parking for this location is a small, so i prefer to park on the street. fairly spacious store. read more

Went on a Tuesday evening with two friends. It wasn't super packed, but there was a steady flow of customers for a weekday. AMBIANCE The shop is spacious with cute, modern decor--gold accents, globe lights, and little cat decorations throughout. Their togo bags are ADORABLE and super good quality! There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to meet friends or work earlier in the day. The variety of table sizes also makes it easy for both small and larger groups. DRINKS Mochi Barley Burst: The tea flavor was strong and delicious. The "mochi" component is more of a thick paste than chewy balls, so each sip is either tea or mochi--not both. Not bad, just different! The barley bursts aren't the usual popping boba--they're chewy barley pieces, which I actually really enjoyed. Mochi Mango: Extremely creamy and caffeine-free--perfect for a late-night milky drink but personally I wish there was more mango. Mango Sweet Dew: My personal favorite between the two mango drinks. It's like a lighter, more refreshing mango smoothie with a mild tea flavor--less rich, more balanced. Rice Frost: Loved this one! It's sweet, unique, and reminded me of Vietnamese fermented rice desserts from childhood. The barley boba paired perfectly with it. Definitely on the sweeter side, but I'd highly recommend trying it. What We Ordered: -Mochi Mango $6.75 We were waiting in line for a BBQ place nearby and had some time to spare. We decided to check out 3Catea to see how it compared to the Arcadia location. We've been to the Arcadia location before and really enjoyed our drinks. This time, we knew what we wanted, so we ordered at the kiosk and picked up our drink when our number was called. The Mochi Mango was just as good as we remembered. While this location has some seating, it's more of a pick-up spot. We do prefer the Arcadia location, especially the outdoor seating, making it a fun spot to sip our tea and people watch. We would definitely come back here when we're in the mood for another Mochi Mango. read more

Went to 3Catea in San Gabriel which is located on Valley Blvd. There is parking in the back of the store which I found. This place is quite busy, and they have plenty of orders coming in. I ordered through their kiosk, which is set up there, with less ice and less sugar for my matcha mochi drink. My friends got different drinks, but I really liked my matcha mochi drink. The mochi is nice and chewy, and it blends really well with the matcha. We sat down on the tables and chairs that are inside and it was pretty comfy to just hang out here for a bit and catch up. read more
The first time I came here, I was whatever about it. Then my sis introduced me to the mochi mango drink and this place easily became one of my favorite places. I also tried their earl grey drink (seasonal) and it was pretty good! All the tea taste is there and not an overwhelming amount of milk. Each drink is about $6.75? The cafe itself is super cute and the to go bags they give are quality bags! Parking lot is located in the back and the cafe is in the corner. Order ahead of time on fantuan for delivery or pick up - there are some good deals on that app. Highly recommend this place! read more
Mochi Mango was a good with bits and bits of mochi at the bottom. Mango was not sweet. Drink was creamy and delicious. This drink reminded me of mango dessert. It was more like a dessert for me than a drink. Loved it! Service was fast and easy to order by self using touchscreen or with a staff. Cute sitting area that looked like a hang out spot with friends. Good drinks with a nice hang out spot. Will come back to try other drinks in near future. read more
Haven't been to 3cat in so long, and love that I can order online so my drink is ready by the time I've arrived. My go to drink is the avomango sweet dew, which has fresh avocado, coconut milk, agar boba, pomelo and mango bites. I'm actually not a fan of the agar boba so I usually request for them to skip it. Drink is pretty sweet so definitely order with less sugar. It's a really refreshing and filling drink that I always order when I'm in the mood for a smoothie like drink. read more

I recommend the mochi mango. It has a sticky and chewy texture but is also super tasty and sweet. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and the wait was over 40min. There is a good amount of seating primarily for people to wait for their drinks. There's also parking in the back. Overall, drink is good but the wait can be super long. read more

It has been a year since i came you for the first time. I did not have a great first experience because the wait for a drink was almost an hour. I decided to pop by and order drinks for my family since we were eating lunch nearby. Around 12:30 on a Sunday. I ordered on their website so it was ready by the time I got there. If to order 3 or more drinks they give you a reusable insulated bag to keep the drinks cold. This time I ordered Jasmine milk tea with agar boba. 25% sweetness was perfect! read more

Great tasting drink and very cozy atmosphere with a lot of cat decorations. Order from the kiosk and receive your order in 4-7 minutes, depends on how busy they are. There were 7-8 workers manning the station and I saw a lot of mobile order popping in. The drink was tasty and very refreshing, it wasn't overly sweet. Parking in this area is very annoying because there is a limited amount in the plaza and on the street. I had to park like 3 blocks away in a residential area. read more

I tried 3Catea for the first time on Sun, Feb 9th, and it was delicious! I haven't visited the store, so this review will primarily focus on the drink! We got the Mochi Mango for $6.75 (price as of Feb 2025). Smoothie, Milk, Fresh Mango, Handmade Rice Mochi, Whipping Cream, Wafer Crunch The drink can be considered a dessert. It was creamy and milky, with mango, and definitely leaned on the sweet side despite getting it less sweet. I enjoyed the pieces of mochi, which had an interesting chewy texture that was a little different from other types of mochi. I didn't mix my drink too well enough, so all the mochi sat on the bottom of the drink. One thing that I would add is that they didn't scoop that much mango into my drink, so it just tasted more milky than mango-flavored.
