I stopped by One Tea and decided to try the strawberry matcha. It was really good! The strawberry and matcha flavors went really well together, and it was refreshing without being too sweet. It was a nicet regular matcha drink. One thing I really liked was the shop itself. The atmosphere was cute, and I especially loved the moon decoration in the back. It gave the place a cozy vibe and made it a fun spot to enjoy my drink. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back to try more of their drinks. One Tea is a great tea spot in Temple City. Shout out to Hannah S. because I bookmarked One Tea when I first read her review. Highly recommended for those who appreciate high quality loose leaf teas. They have street parking in front of the store or a public parking lot behind the store. They have 2 entrances. The front is where you order your drinks and the back has a lot of seating and I even notice how the seats along the wall has many outlets for those who need to study or work here with their laptops. I enjoy it so much I have already been here multiple times. Both times I was helped by Xiya, who was super sweet and helpful. Per her recommendation I ordered their One Tea Signature Blend Milk Tea ($5.95) with less ice, 70% sweetness and the crème brulee foam. I also got their Custard Walnut Cakes ($5.99). The drinks are prepared quite quickly, and the walnut cakes take a little longer cause they are made to order. I can taste the quality of the tea in my drink and that crème brulee topping is true luxury in a cup. The custard walnut cakes were savory with the walnut and lightly sweet with the custard. This is such a great tea snack, or I can see them going well with coffee. Yum!! I highly recommend this to all the tea lovers out there. Social media kept on spamming me with their account and telling me there's BOGO. Guess it knew I can't pass up a good BOGO, haha. Showed up after lunch on a Friday afternoon. There was just one other customer ahead of us. We placed the BOGO order, which was Pink Guava Lychee and Crystal Passionfruit. We were able to mix and match and adjust our ice and sweetness. Both drinks were really refreshing - you can taste the fruit and the tea. The Lychee Jelly's sweetness that came with the Pink Guava drink paired well. The Crystal Passionfruit came with Agar Boba. The passionfruit had real passionfruit in it. It was just the right amount of tartness. There was only a small table in the front so this is definitely not one of those you come in here with your friends and sit around and chat type of places. Staff was SUPER FRIENDLY! Finally got to try out One Tea after seeing my friends go to their many weekly BOGO Free drinks. We were in the area for dinner and happened to be in walking distance, so we decided to grab some drinks afterwards. It looks like a small cafe from the front, but it's a very "long" location, so walk past the cashier and restroom after you get your drinks (they do have a number system too if you're in the other room) but there's a good amount of seating and some space and modern themed photo ops. It is a bit warm and stuffy back there, but no biggie. Our drinks came out pretty quickly and we also got an order of their custard walnut cakes. I've had these Korean walnut cakes before but never with custard inside. Nice and moist and not dry at all like the ones that I've had in the past. Real walnut pieces in it too. Very shareable and not too sweet either. Good stuff! I got their BOGO for the week which was the Jade matcha cloud and their jade matcha milk tea. I got less ice for both of them and only around a quarter sweetness. Nice matcha taste and had a good balance of sweetness of tea flavor. Strong jasmine tea taste for the jade matcha cloud (tasted great the next day too and without the matcha oxidation flavor either). Good stuff. Service was efficient, welcoming, and friendly. I had one sip of Fruity A-F And I gave them 5 stars. Because I'm thirsty! New store has a very Space Odyssey Vibe. Floor was done really well, like an epoxied piece of art, with a lacquered coating. Rice paper wall reminds me of Grand Seiko's watch packaging, a nod to artisanal, simplicity, and elegance. Lighting struck a well balance off every surface with dim warm white lights. My husband and I decided to check out this tea house this past Sunday afternoon, around 4:15 pm. We entered from the back since we parked in the back lot. When you enter from the back, you see this almost space age type of themed seating area. The lights and detail is pretty cool actually. But anyways, once in the front (be sure to watch your step because there are 2 steps from the seating area to the main entrance and you might trip) we were greeted by an employee behind the register. We decided to try the buy one get one free tea drink special. Based on One Tea's instagram account, it seems that they offer weekly buy one get one free tea drinks. We ordered: The Fortunella, $6.05 prior to tax- This is a kumquat fruit tea. My husband and I ended up ordering both of these drinks to be made with no ice and 30% sweetener. I am actually not a big fan of kumquat and always thought they were on the sour side (that was how they were growing in my backyard when I was a kid). But this kumquat fruit tea was really good and I really liked the sweetness level for it as well. The tea drink was very refreshing and would love to have another one. But I believe this tea drink was also a limited drink because of the Lunar New Year. --------------------------------------- (Total= $6.65 after tax + buy one get one free drink special) Wait time was not too long. The employee who took care of our transaction was friendly. Checked out One Tea today in Temple City to try their matcha drinks. They have a mix of milk tea, tea, smoothies, coffee and matcha on their menu. I decided to try their matcha madness smoothie today as I wanted to see if it is comparable to my favorite Omomo matcha. The matcha madness was a matcha smoothie whereas Omomo has more of the brûlée inside. Overall I liked my drink as it had a strong matcha flavor. If you are looking for a caffeine boost you should go with this drink. I am pretty wired now which is good because other places that serve matcha doesn't really give me this feeling. I ordered my drink 50% sweet and the sugar was pretty minimal as I was able to taste the bitterness from the matcha. If you want something sweeter I think full sugar would be okay. My friend ordered the double matcha with 100% sugar and it was still pretty light in sweetness. The cashier told us that the matcha they use in store is ceremonial matcha compared to other places that use lower grade matcha. They have a Chinese New Year deal right now on their fortunella tea which is a kumquat fruit tea for bogo which will end on 3/1. Also if you buy 2 drinks you will get a red envelope with a prize inside. I got $1 off on my next visit. As you walk into the store you will see the menu and counter. You can order and walk to the back of the store which has a couple tables. There are a couple of photo ops in the back with a mirror and an asteroid. They are quite popular amongst the locals, young and old. I was somewhat adventures on this Lunar New Year night, and tried their Mango Pomelo tea (30% sweetness). And it was sublime! Loved my first experience at One Tea - Every sip of my tea was delicious, the staff were phenomenal, and I adore their space-themed decor! I stopped by on my way to my fave nail salon across the street and definitely intend to make this my pre-pedicure drink stop from now on. They have quite a large menu with various teas, milk teas, coffees, matcha concoctions and other non-caffeine options. I was struggling a bit to choose but the lovely staff came to my rescue. He helped me select a tea base for my milk tea that would compliment the popping barley I was wanting and his recommendations were spot on!  I ended up going with the One Tea Signature Blend as a milk tea per his recommendation - it's a combo of black tea, barley and cassia and had a lovely roasty flavor that perfectly complimented the popping barley. I also opted for a creme brulee top since I was in the mood for a sweet treat and it hit the spot! Their popping barley is spectacular - it's got pieces of soft, tasty roasted barley inside tiny pearls of sweet liquid. It's a great chewy treat and pairs well with any of the more roasty type teas. I also opted for 50% sweetness and it was perfect. I love that they let you adjust the sugar and ice levels.  I had fun looking around their spacey shop while they made my tea! They have a galaxy paint job on the floors with starry lights in the ceilings and a really cool moon seat in the back that's perfect for the Gram lol. Really fun decor and a great vibe - very conducive to hanging out and enjoying their delightful drinks. Prices are on par for the area. Parking is free street parking and ample in the surrounding area but there's also a free (albeit time-limited) lot across the street behind the businesses.  One Tea is an excellent addition to the milk tea scene here and I'm looking forward to enjoying the popping barley again with my next pedicure! read more

Great new spot for strong brewed tea and specialty drinks! They have a wide selection on their menu with brewed teas, fruit teas, matcha, and coffees. I tried their one tea signature blend with jasmine tea jelly and it was delicious! The tea is a blend of black tea, barley, and cassia and has a roasted flavor that tastes kind of like popcorn. My friend tried their mango pomelo and that was also really good and came with tea jelly that went well with the icy mango blend. The interior at the storefront is really nice with a large backdrop and is even more spacious in the back of the shop with tables and seating with a super cool space theme! Osmanthus Oolong milk tea with house milk, less sugar and less ice is perfect. My score is 5.0 Osmanthus Oolong tea is 4.0, for some reason it's just not flavorful. It tastes good, but not special. I started coming here after seeing their weekly BOGO specials which are usually pretty unique and fruity, exactly what I like! Their menu goes beyond boba, with matcha, lattes, AND coffee options. I appreciate this since boba drinks can be too sweet sometimes and I may want a coffee-based drink to switch it up! They have nice seating area in the back of the shop with a space/moon theme, and small little tables for people to work on. So far I've tried their winter melon jade jasmine tea, rose peach tea, grapefruit oolong tea, guava tea, fortunella, and jade lychee tea. Super fun drinks every time, but I do feel that their tea is not as strong or fragrant. Maybe the coffee or matcha drinks would be stronger, since they have an espresso machine to make those drinks whereas the tea looks to be pre-batched and coming from a tap. So happy that One Tea is close to me since it's becoming one of my go-to tea spots! I usually prefer fruit teas over milk teas and One Tea's fruit tea selection is great. I've tried several already and my top 3 favorites so far are the jade lychee, peachy rose, and the pink guava jasmine. I like my tea to be not that sweet and I've been ordering all of them at 0% sugar and less ice. The tea is still slightly sweet (probably from the syrup or flavoring) but it's just the perfect amount. I like that you can also taste the tea flavor and it's not watered down. Ambiance is great and the space them is nice. I love the "stars" on the ceiling. There's plenty of tables in the back if you want to hang out or study. Service is also quick and friendly. Went here for their grand opening 12/13/25 and wow my wife and I are mega impressed with the special event. We were one of the first 50 in line which rewarded us with their exclusive tote bag, tumbler, reusable straw, MBTI pin, and a free matcha drink (which was SUPER DELICIOUS AND REFRESHING.) Parking here is a bit congested, they share a lot with other businesses but street parking would suffice. Watch out for the street signs but other than that, it's free. Interior is pretty standard in the front, with a open cafe style kitchen where you can see the staff working on the drinks. Menu is clear and plentiful on the TV. I think a improvement they can add is a self ordering kiosk when the shop gets busy. After ordering, you can make your way to the back of the shop where all the seating is. Met with a starry/night/space animated roof, sleek seating and tables, very much a space theme. With the lighting, it presents a very chill and modern vibe. There's also a space for a nice photo as well. Great ambiance overall and is night and day between the front and the rear of the shop. I had a chance to try the Matcha Biscoff and my wife ordered the Camellia Royale Tea and they were both amazing. The biscoff mixed well with the matcha to create that sweet crunchy feeling. Super refreshing overall and definitely a big fan of their matcha. Looking forward to try their different matcha drinks especially the matcha madness next time. As for the Camellia Royale Tea, the feeling is very floral. Love the refreshing taste and the fragrance feeling. Not very overpowering thus it was wonderful to sip. Wait times took about 10-15 minutes for our order which is understandable due to the state of the grand opening, expect it to be similar when its busy and faster when it's more chill. SO GOOD! I'm a bit sad I only recently discovered One Tea. I've been here about 2-3 times and def plan to be back more often! They have a good variety of drinks so there's something for everyone. The first time I ordered the Matcha Biscoff and it became my favorite drink. The matcha was pretty strong and smooth, not bitter or grassy. It had the perfect amount of cream and biscoff. It had bits and a whole biscoff in the drink. I always get atleast 75% less sugar so it's not too sweet and it's perfect. I also had the Coconut Matcha Cloud which was also strong in matcha taste, creamy, and refreshing. The service is friendly and the drinks come out pretty fast. Never a long wait when i'm here. After hearing about another new boba shop in the SGV, I did not come here with high expectations. However, I ended up being super impressed with this store. I visited with my husband during the grand opening, so it was quite busy that day. To my surprise, the employees were very well trained, quick, and organized. The wait times were very typical of other boba shops. As for the beverages, there are plenty of options on the menu. I had a cup of Camellia Royale Milk Tea with golden boba. It was creamy and delicious. The boba was sweet and cooked to the perfect texture, neither too hard nor too soft. I also tried the Matcha Biscoff latte, which was very good. I was surprised that there was an entire biscoff cookie on top of the drink, as opposed to just biscoff pieces - very generous. I can tell that they use fresh, high quality matcha. In addition, the ambiance of this place is awesome. From the front of the store, it looks like a tiny shop, but there is a large area in the back with extra seating. Definitely an upgrade from the previous store at this location, Tapioca Express. That place was so rundown it will not be missed. Happy to see a refreshing appeal and presentation for a tea house. Staff was very friendly when guiding me toward the type of drink I wanted. They also suggested 50% sugar and less ice, which I thought was actually helpful. I got the dragon fruit lemonade tea. It was pretty good. It had some fruit pulps at the bottom, which gave it texture. The color of the drink is pretty. With tax, it's about $8, so I don't know if that's just how bubble tea goes these days, even without add-on chewy stuff. they definitely spent time on the interior. And since I can see the effort, I'm going to give some critique (with love). The inside and the back have more seating. They look uncomfortable, which I don't mind because aesthetic is clearly what they're going for. But the arrangement is kind of awkward. You have a dead space in the middle, with a lot of metal chairs going against the wall. There's a sculptural moon installation, which I assume is where influencers are supposed to take photos. But because of the material, it's already starting to look worn and chipped. I see the space-age, maybe retro-futuristic theme they're going for. I don't know how that relates to tea, but they're committing to it, so I can appreciate the creativity. That said, the painted wall color which is the cream white or eggshell white. it looks like a mistake in a space-age themed environment. It should either be a dark charcoal gray, a pristine true white, or even a bold contrast color--maybe some kind of pink or green. Right now it just doesn't feel intentional. I do notice the details, like all the metallic furniture and the little LED shooting star display on the ceiling. Now, when you have a store where you want to elevate the experience, every detail counts. Those laser-printer printouts double-stick-taped to the wall really have to go. Put something nice there. Frame it. Do some proper photography, maybe some quotes--Put it in a metallic frame. Or use cut-out letters glued directly onto the wall to add visual interest. The material that looks like faux stone lining the wall from the front to the back is also already starting to look worn. This store probably just opened a month or two ago, which tells you that white or delicate materials in high-traffic areas might not be the best choice. read more

What's there not to love about One Tea?! Friendly service, ample parking and seatings in the back, beautifully presented drinks. Really fair prices for the quality of drinks provided. I can't believe how fragrant and just perfect both drinks I ordered tasted. The cloud coconut black tea milk was refreshing and had a wonderful black tea aroma. It wasn't too sweet although I would get it in 75% sugar levels. Same with the biscoff matcha. Beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Loved the bright matcha flavor. What a treat!!
