Even more, the boba is consistantly divine-- fresh, chewy, and sweet. Drinks come out quick even when it's busy. I'm always amazed how many drinks they can pump out quickly. The staff here are boba masters. Prices here are competitive/standard. Expect about $5/drink. They also have a stampcard program! Buy 8 and get 1 free. We frequent Hello Boba because it's nearby and good. Even if there's more unique places like half and half, 3 cats, and twinkle brown sugar. I prefer Hello Boba. They're just really good, consistant, and quick. Always hits the spot. Staff are generally friendly and greet you with a smile. There's this one swole asian dude who's that has a rbf. I don't think it's personal though, he's probably always sore from hitting the gym. I almost never get a smile from him-- it's just business. He shows his love in a through his consistant drinks. Which I can appreciate. I usually take my drinks to go. But there was one time me and my son hung out and played board games. They have a nice variety. But just like all other boba places, the games are usually really beat up from all the useage from previous customers. Very casual. The only downside is that this place is dangerous to my waistline. Overall good for everyone of all ages and different ethnic backgrounds. Special Shoutout to Tuan. When my wife or son wants boba, sometimes I forget what our go-to order is. Tuan knows our order. Their original mojito is good if you're looking for an alcohol free version with boba. Other than that, normal boba menu. Quick service from time you order till pick up. Placed order via DoorDash for pick up. Drink was ready when I arrived. The place was cute inside but didnt spend much time in there since I was picking up on my break. Ordered the Matcha Boba Milk with brown sugar boba and oatmilk. The matcha flavor was ok. It could have used more matcha because once I mixed it with the rest of the drink the flavor became more faint than what I would have liked. It was faint at this point. The boba was pleasant. It was soft and chewy and I enjoyed the brown sugar. The drink was still sweet even after requesting 50% sugar so I would adjust accordingly if you like less sweet. This is honestly my go to spot in El Monte when I am in the area! Their fruit drinks are so good and refreshing. Staff here is kind and make drinks pretty quickly. It's not a place to sit and hang but they do have a small area to sit as you wait for your drinks. We were on our way to dinner and was making a pitstop for boba, apparently we went to this south El Monte store instead of the one on Lower Azusa. Either way, still close to each other and most likely will be the same! We ordered a few drinks with the staff and looked around while we waited. Our drinks were ready super quick! I ordered a matcha boba milk tea, half sugar, no ice with boba. At first the color looked a bit off but if you mix it, it's green! I think they put brown sugar syrup on the container so it was just brown before you mix it. It was delicious! Unfortunately since it was night time and probably not busy because the plaza was a bit empty, the boba was mixed with chewy ones and hard ones. Still a great drink! Adding boba is free with any drink, a big plus as some other boba shops will charge you. Their teas always have a great, strong flavor. Their staff is always very nice and patient while you order! Was in the El Monte area and decided to try a new boba place. Founded Hello Boba and decided to give it a shot! Decided to try the Mango Green Tea with Boba 75% Sweetness. Interior decor looks great, they also sell some K-Pop stuff in the middle of the shop. Cashier was nice and vibing to Lil Wayne lol. Service was great and swift. Initially, first couple sips the tea tasted refreshing. After that, the mango syrup starts kicking in and eventually the drink tasted very sweet for me. Boba was decent as it was lacking the fresh honey flavor. I didn't even finished my drink because it was too sweet.
