    Mocha Mexicano
    Flor M.

Love me some Tierra Mia! I've been supporting this business from when they first started this company. I officially switched completely from Starbucks years ago after they kept messing up my order. Sadly, the past couple of times I've either been given the wrong order only to find out that it's wrong once I'm home. Or it's significantly watered down that's it's trash. If you charge over $6 for a coffee then I do expect consistency every time especially because my order is a mocha Mexicano with no changes or additions. At this point, I'm better off making the coffee at home. Please do better.

I love this place and I'm not usually one to go for frapps. It's my go to and I rather have this than BuckStar when I can !! Now if we can only get a location in Fresno Ca I would love it even more.

Tierra Mia Coffee never disappoints. We went through the drive-thru at this location, and even though it was busy, the service was warm, patient, and surprisingly fast. Everything came out looking picture-perfect -- and tasted even better. We ordered a strawberry matcha latte and a horchata frappé. The strawberry matcha was smooth and refreshing, with the strawberry adding just enough sweetness without drowning out the matcha. The horchata frappé was incredible -- creamy, cinnamon-y, and way better than anything similar from the big chains. We also tried the tres leches muffin, and it honestly stole the show. It was moist, rich, and you could actually taste the condensed milk in every bite -- which was the best part. It felt like a real tres leches dessert, not just a muffin with icing on top. Prices feel fair for the quality, the flavors are unique, and you can tell they care about what they make. Between the great drinks, the amazing bakery items, and the convenience of the drive-thru, this spot is an easy favorite. Highly recommend -- and definitely coming back.

Not the best but not the worse coffee I've had! It's good if you're craving a speciality drink/non typical flavors that you won't find at Starbucks. I've been here a couple times and got the mint mocha mexicana today which was kind of mid, 3/5 - the texture was a bit weird and drink was thinner than I would want. However, the last time I got the horchata latte and that's a 5/5! By far my fav drink there, I've been hesitant to try anything else since the regular mexicana and mint one weren't good today. Overall, a decent spot to grab coffee if you're in the area. They have a drive through which can get real busy at times. The baristas are friendly and average and it's a lowkey chill spot. They also have indoor seating but the place is pretty small. Limited parking is avail as well.

Horchata Latte was so delicious and creamy - 9/10

Very tiny drive thru coffee shop located in the corner of a super busy street! There is also the option to order inside. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating Went there at 7:30am today (Tuesday) and there were surprisingly only a few cars! I was expecting service to be super slow (judging from other people's reviews) but surprisingly I only waited 10 minutes at most in line. Service was very friendly and fast! Parking can be difficult since there aren't that many spaces and the parking lot is quite small and cramped. Pricing was very reasonable ($5-6+/drink). There was a good variety of lattes, frappes, matcha, and lemonade drinks. Very good selection of muffins and croissants ($3.50 each) The Iced Horchata Latte ($5.50) was so creamy and tasted just right since I requested half sweet! The coffee didn't taste too overpowering and it wasn't too sweet. It tasted super delicious! This was 9/10 (docked 1 pt because I requested less ice but was given lots of ice!) The Horchata muffin ($3.50) was amazing! It was so soft and buttery! It literally melted in my mouth with every bite. It wasn't too sweet and it was definitely one of the best muffins I've ever had! This was 10/10! Would definitely recommend and return!

They're open late for a coffee shop and they make many types of drinks and lattes. I was pretty satisfied with my Mexican latte- it had a abuelita coco with some spices. Wish they had soy milk it would've been better and creamier. I also like that you could adjust the sweetness levels. The cashier and barista was also very helpful in explaining the drinks. It took about 5-10 minutes for both drinks,

I come here frequently and rarely have issues but this most recent time my drink was disappointing. Half of my drink was foam. Tasted like left over powder. I love tierra mia I have never had this happen to me but I can't tolerate paying $7 for pretty much just foam and Ice.

The only thing I would note is that the lychee flavor is not really there - I'd consider this a regular espresso tonic instead of a lychee-forward one. This didn't really bother me though, because I downed the whole drink My husband got the hojicha latte, which was smooth with a nice roasted flavor that didn't get lost under the milk. I also appreciated that they asked whether he wanted sugar at all rather than assuming a default sweetness level. It was actually his first time having a hojicha latte unsweetened, and he really enjoyed it. The space itself is pretty bare-bones, so I wouldn't necessarily come here for the super aesthetic cafe experience. But it's comfortable and functional - there's a row of bench seating with tables and chairs opposite it. The seats are actually padded, which makes it a nice spot to sit for a chat, or to get some work done. Street parking was plentiful when we went, and I believe there's also a small attached lot. There was also a baker set up on-site when we stopped by. They were selling things like salt bread and sandwiches, so of course we grabbed something to support them. I thought that was such a cute touch and would love to see more local cafes doing little collaborations like this.

The cloudy was a very interesting combination of pear and date, I believe, with overtones of coffee and undertones of tangy/sour-ness from the date. It was really... interesting, and not something I've seen elsewhere. Would recommend trying it, if you like chasing signatures and getting a variety of tastes, but it wasn't for me. On the other hand, we liked their jasmine latte a lot. Not only did it have that jasmine tea flavor, it was also a great latte in itself which we thoroughly enjoyed.

I was debating between that and the Mexican sidecar but the barista kindly informed me that the latter was on the sweeter side, so she preferred the Spanish since it was less sweet. It's very cool that they roast their beans in-house, and although I'm no coffee connoisseur, I thought the quality of the espresso was great. The only thing is that all the syrup sat at the bottom, so be sure to mix it in well. There's no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating on the turf to sit and relax.

Right next door, find Uncle Fung Coffee Stall, his daughter's tribute to her Indonesian roots. Here, relax in the retro-modern space and enjoy coffee and tea with an Indonesian flair. The vibe feels timeless. The paint-speckled brick walls and polished tiled floors starkly contrast the heirloom porcelain and framed Indonesian memorabilia. Small square tables and metal chairs are crammed into the narrow space. Close to opening, seats are plentiful, and serene pop blends with the espresso machine; later in the morning, the air is filled with chatter, and the queue stretches to the door. Of the drinks, our go-to has been The Putu, a pandan-forward latte that isn't too sweet. But don't sleep on the Indonesian pastries. I particularly enjoyed the Dadar Gulung, a vibrant green pandan crepe filled with sweet coconut. The scarlet, tortoise-shaped Angku Kueh is stuffed with an addictive mung bean filling. The Talan Ubi sweet potato-and-coconut treats tasted like fall. The Kueh Lupis, a sticky rice triangle with a side of palm sugar syrup, sports a spot-on Q texture, but is one-dimensional in flavor. Service is friendly and efficient. Pastries cost about ~$3-5, while specialty beverages run in the $7-8 range. The location is stellar (just steps away from the Alhambra Farmers Market), and the coffeehouse fare is uniquely crave-worthy.
