Not so often that you'll find a cafe like this open for early mornings. On top of that, they have a drive through! A very convenient, quick, and high quality cafe. Similar to their quality menu, which include boba, milk teas, coffees, etc, you'll find every type of customer here, whether it's a quick grab and go, or people hangout to people working, it's just a spectacular spot for any type of occasion. (Free Wifi) I've tried almost every drink here and my top drinks is the Jasmine Milk Tea, Oolong Milk Tea, and the Summer Mint. Both are super refreshing regardless of weather or occasion. I finally tried 7 leaves cafe and it did not disappoint. I ordered the house coffee with extra sweetener after seeing on TikTok that it was strong, and it was honestly really good. It tasted like the perfect balance of bold and sweet without being overwhelming. My fiancé got a Thai tea, and it was definitely on the sweeter side, but still tasty if you love sweet drinks. This place is convenient, fast, and easy. I enjoy ordering through the mobile app so that my drink is ready for me by the time I head on over. It can get a bit busy in the drive through at times, but that's a good sign isn't it? This 7leaves sit at the corner of a Food4Less Plaza so there's always going to be parking if you wanted to park and study/sit inside. The service has always been very sweet and friendly here. The only con or warning I would give is just be careful of your side view mirrors! This location has a drive through and a dine-in, but the dine-in area looks small. We didn't want to park so we ordered through the drive through. We got the Mungbean Milk Tea, Sea Salt Jasmine Tea, and the House Coffee. The drinks didn't take long to be ready and the entire drive through process went smoothly. The employees were also friendly and provided good service. The mung bean milk tea was a bit too sweet for my taste even though I already asked for easy sweet. It still tasted sweet after the ice melted. I don't think I like this drink much anymore. For the sea salt jasmine tea, that was good since the sea salt foam goes well with the tea. The house coffee was just okay since my sister who ordered it isn't a super big fan of coffee. I think this is a decent drink spot but their menu is a bit limited with not many options. I had to charge my brother's electric car at the EVgo station in the same plaza, and it was getting warm, so I had to get a drink. There was a Starbucks across the street, but I didn't want to cross the street and keep it low-key, and then I found 7 Leaves! To be honest, I haven't been to one in ages. Though there is one in Alhambra, I have so many options that I tend to forget. I got myself a Mung Bean Milk Tea (what they are known for) and Assam milk tea on my second visit. They were both pretty decent and refreshing. It was great enough to keep me cool while I had to wait for the car to charge. It is very spacious inside with lots of tables, and it was empty; perhaps it was too early (before 11 AM). But the drive-thru was popping! So I have to call the store and hopefully they will follow up on my issue and get my refund. This is not the first time an uber driver took my order. I had a birthday reward to claim and I opted to order a drink on the app for pick up; the drink was meant for the next day since I was driving by after work and I wanted the black and tan (coffee and tea with milk) so I ordered no ice but with two toppings. When I showed up, the person behind the counter greeted me and asked what they could get for me. I told them I had a mobile order and gave them my name. They came back maybe 3-5 mins later and told me because I had two toppings and no ice, they were worried that it might not taste as good. I told them that it's ok, and I appreciate them giving me a heads up because most people wouldn't even give it a second thought about a customers experience after the transaction. I really didn't mind that I basically was messing up my own drink hahaha and I told them that I didn't want them to waste another cup or more stuff. To my surprise, they insisted on remaking the drink for me and I was really impressed by their customer service. The remake was DELICIOUS and was perfectly balanced despite me asking for no ice. HUGE KUDOS TO CARLOS! Employees and customer service like his is what make customers return and I'll definitely be back more often! Anyway, this location has a drive thru and shares a lot with a handful of businesses. Normally I do not upsize any drink, but I figured for the cost, it would be worth it since I was sharing the drink. I have not been to a 7 Leaves Cafe in years, and have only tried it once prior. Though, I do not recall the Mung Bean Milk Tea being this "watered" down and barely any Mung Bean in the drink. It felt like a pre-diabetic drink with all the sugar and water. Yes, I am a coffee over milk tea drinker especially with the cost between the two. The customer service is great. I was greeted immediately once I drove up to the intercom. The worker was efficient and answered any questions I had. They are very efficient here, even with 2 cars ahead of me, I was able to get my drink quickly and was soon on my way. I am used to the plastic sealed lid, but it was very thoughtful for another plastic lid to be included on top of the plastic sealed lid, so it would not "tear" through with the straw, especially I was driving. The flavors were good, but again, I felt that the drink was way watered down and mostly full of sugar. For an almost $7 drink, I would rather order coffee and only plan on ordering once in a blue moon. Service was great and I have no qualms with customer service here, which was a pleasant experience since customer service is lacking in a lot of areas these days. read more

So whenever I'm in California, I make a stop at 7Leaves because it is one of the only boba shops I've been to where they have mung bean tea. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. It is one of the most popular item on the menu so there are plenty of others that agree with me. The mung bean tea feels very refreshing and cooling. There's a term in Cantonese called "Yeeet-hay" meaning there's an imbalance in your body (usually when you eat too much fried food or you eat out a lot). Well the mung bean drink is great to reverse the heat. Not sure about other locations but this one does serve half gallon size containers. For our group, many of us wanted the mung bean option so it was the cheaper route to order. However, when we were here, they ran out. We lived around El Monte and wanted to try the drinks here. We opted for drive thru in the morning and it wasn't very crowded. The menu looks very good and I wanted to try their house coffee. I was so happy looking at the cream on the top. That's my kind of coffee. It's a Vietnamese coffee but a little different. It tasted absolutely fantastic, coffee was strong and the sweetness perfect. I was so tempted to try everything off their menu. We went with a macron too and it was decent nothing extraordinary. so i guess we get punished for being a loyal customer huh? I acquired enough points to get a free drink and i ordered another one for my fiancee. The free drink comes in a small "upsize" cup now? since when? Everytime i've ordered a free drink in the past, the "upsize" was always the larger cup. As you can see on the sticker, they both say "up", which means upsize. therefore the cup size should be the same on both drinks but the one that i claimed for free with the points was the oolong milk tea and it came in a small cup.
