I like that they layer in the granola on the bottom and the top, because it acts as an insulator that helps keep the bowl frozen longer! The fruit was ripe and sweet, the honey and agave drizzled on top of all types of coconut (raw, sweetened, toasted, shredded), and bee pollen. The service is polite, friendly, and efficient. The spot is small but looks modern and clean. Parking lot is a bit chaotic, but it's in a plaza so you can park on the other side that has lots of space and walk over!

Either way, if this is a repetitive thing, why not adjust daily inventory of bananas so you aren't running out most days with more than an hour until closing??? We were really sad about this and to think we had to write this, but seems like such an easily fixable problem that shouldn't be persisting. We actually love açaí joint so much that we really have to go out of our way to get here. For it to be a waste of time is really disappointing and if we have to assume the majority of the menu is not available, we will probably just skip going there from now on and that's sad.

When I arrived, there were only two staff members and both were busy preparing other orders, so I ended up waiting quite a while just to place my order. I tried ordering through the app instead, but it wasn't working, so eventually I asked a staff member to help me place the order. I then had some confusion when ordering my usual yogurt/fruit bowl. One of the staff members told me that they couldn't make it as a yogurt bowl without charging me the price of a regular bowl. I was confused because I've ordered the same type of bowl here multiple times before without being charged that way. The staff member initially gave me a hard time about it, although I do appreciate that they eventually apologized and checked with another staff member, who helped resolve the issue. The bowl itself was prepared fine, but unfortunately the overall quality of the fruit wasn't great this time. The fruit just didn't seem as fresh or as good-quality as it has been during my previous visits. I'm giving 2 stars because I've enjoyed this place before, but between the long wait, the initial customer service experience, and the quality of the ingredients this time, I left feeling pretty disappointed.
