Just passing through this town and wanted a croissant. Good variety of donuts. I had a bite of a chocolate bar and it was deliciously fresh. We had ham and cheese croissants warmed up to go I didn't care for the ham flavor but the croissant was perfect and a good size. I'm picky when it comes to processed lunch meat.... It's one of those local gems because it is a hole in the wall. Don't expect fancy donuts with fancy seating (lol) but it is my favorite local donut shop. If you're looking for donuts, there are plenty of shops around but here you find more than that. (As the other reviews mention what you can find, I won't be repetitive) What I recommend is the Fresh veggie and fruit drinks! They make them right in front of you and they cost less than half of what Jamba Juice and other places charge! Only $3.75! My other favorite is their Tuna sandwich on wheat croissant bread... I was last in line and I was patient. Person in front of me orders a couple of bagels and the other client had gotten water. I assumed when the employee told to me one moment he would be right back. Wrong... He made all their food and juices than finally attended me once I saw I was getting frustrated. Once he asked what I told him what I wanted I stated I justed wanted a glazed doughnut. I've lived less than 5minutes away for 10 years and to my surprise this donut gem has alot to offer. I bought the most soft and crunchy crumb donut, HOW THEY SHOULD BE. I also had the croissant ham and turkey sandwich combo with a side of chips and a Coke. Great big meal for under $6. Will make you full half way through. read more

This place is too good to be true. It's 24-hours so I can come here for breakfast, lunch, dinner, after-drinking late-night snack and anything in between. I love their croissant sandwiches, especially the jalepeno, egg, sausage, and cheese one. The croissant itself is flaky, buttery, and really light...add in the egg, etc. and it's one mouthwatering meal! The donuts are always fresh - I've never had one that tastes like it's just been sitting there. Omg! I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet! I've known about this place for years and recently I've been coming over to the donut shop with my girlfriend. I remember growing up they had 3 donuts for $1 for the longest time. Times have changed but its still like 3 donuts for $1.25 or $1.50. Still a great deal! Also, I go here in the morning w/ my girlfriend before she has to head off for work. We usually split the ham and cheese croissant (omg /drool). They warm up croissant and its so buttery and yummy! Next, we usually get this other item they have on special. Its 2 of them for I believe $0.80-$1. I've never seen anything like it, so I don't know its name and this is the only place that I know where to get them! Basically, its soft bread that has a cinnamon coating with like sticky brown sugar on the bottom. Its kind of hard to describe but omg its great! Also, we love the place because it has martinelli's apple juice! We call it peace juice, because it tastes so damn good that it just takes you mind off anything else that may be troubling you. Seriously how do they do it lol. Side note: the parking lot is kind of tight. If it gets full then it can be a little stressful reversing out of your slot if you get shaky in small places ! Well first of all this place is open 24/7 and you wouldn't even think how fresh the donuts are it's amazing. The fact that it's super close to my house and always convenient for a quick visit. The lady that's mostly there is cool she takes care of you right away and doesn't really stress the water. I also fill my five gallon water bottles here and she once let me slide on some change which never happens to me. Five stars for you DONUT KING . I've only been here a couple of times here and every time I love what I get to eat. My dad always comes for the capirotada which is yummy. I myself usually get a capirotada but the donuts here are good as well. They sell jugo de vampiro which is a fruit and vegetable drink and its good and very affordable.
