Stopped by for some lottery tickets, and saw some cookies on display, I got a peanut butter and a oatmeal raisin, I thought they where fresh and soft, when I touched the paper sleep to see how soft the cookie crumbled, when I told the lady to exchange for something else she said I already bit the cookie so no exchange. They have pretty good donuts! Really liked their custard filled and donut holes with custard fillings. Staff were friendly and donuts were fresh and soft! Took two stars away because my second time here where I got the lemon filled donut but there was only 2 drops of lemon filling in it. I am not even joking. Maybe that day the person who filled the donut had a bad day simply piped too little filling into it. Hope it isn't usually like this, will try another time and update the review if things changed. Updated 11/30/23 again as I visited the third time, tried their lemon donut again...their lemon filled was still unfilled... very little lemon filling (see picture). Very disappointing. Updated 12/3: Yay! Thank you Andy for checking my reviews and reaching out to us! The lemon filled donut machine is fixed now!!! Went in today and got their lemon filled again! They have some small tables inside in case you want to sit down and enjoy their coffee and donut. The donuts are good and fresh, they have the standard variety like chocolate and sprinkles. As the day goes on, it gets less and less. They also have lotto tickets and scratchers if that's what you're into. They have tables inside where you can sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee and donut or if you feel lucky, you can buy a lottery ticket/scratcher. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There is usually two people that manage the store. All of their prices have tax included which is perfect. They do accept credit card/debit card and they also have an ATM machine inside. It's well kept and clean inside. Parking isn't difficult as there is a huge parking lot and it doesn't get full often. read more

Right when my friend and I walked in they seemed annoyed we were there... They had a very small selection of donuts. I saw a sign for thriftys ice cream so I ordered a scoop of mint chip which was almost 2 dollars. They gave me the scoop in a tiny water cup. And the ice cream was gritty like they sprinkled sugar or something in it making it a sandy texture. read more

Whenever I'm in the area, I have to stop by this mom and pop donut shop. It's nothing fancy, but their donuts are super cheap, and they don't cheat you off of your icing. I've been to places that hardly put any icing on the donuts so they end up tasting like bread. If I wanted bread, I would've gone to a panaderia. Anyways, the owners are really nice, so, A+ on customer service. Maple donut is always my favorite choice here and I like to pair it with their chocolate milk that they sell (yuuuum). The location is nice. It's a small place located in the same plaza as el pollo loco, o'reily, and point Dume (a good Chinese food place by the way). The place is a little small though so it can get crowded pretty quick. It gets a little busy in the mornings because everyone wants a quick donut to snack on before they head off to work. Plus, their donuts are fresh so who wouldn't want one? As for parking, I've never had a problem since it's a spacious plaza. Definitely come check this place out! Very few times in life do you truly get to witness an act of kindness, let alone one that is so so unselfish it moves you to tears. Today as I was getting my daily (Thai tea fix) a young lady crossed me (walking). She was lugging on her back a large duffle bag, which probably weighted more than she did. As I looked down to her feet, she had on fussy slippers and both were missing the rubber sole. Furthermore, as she turned around-- I noticed she was at least 9 months pregnant ! My heart broke as she sat on the floor trying to catch her breath. As I sat in my car I wondered, if she had ate, if she was thirsty and wondered if I could buy her something to eat. Just then, one of the owners of the donut shop hands her a donut. She turned around and reached in her bag to hand him a dollar (in change) which he did not take. He instead reached into his own pocket and starts handing her at least $30 dollars (in $5). He barely said a word to her, just pointed at her belly. Each bill he handed to her moved me to tears; as I could not believe someone would be so kind. May God, always bless this family business and may our Lord continue to have people like him....which live by example. May God give this family 100 times more as they truly deserve it!! Best donuts! I compare all the donuts i taste to Christys...these donuts always taste fresh and last a couple days....most donuts taste old after a day, not Christys. The customer service is great too. They are always soo nice. And they take credit card, which is nice since we dont always carry cash. The only thing i would like to change os the hours lol wish they were open later... ut they're closed by 9pm..love it and highly reccomend! read more

This shop has the worst customer service. I asked for milk for the coffee that I had just bought and they quickly said no. If I had to pay extra for the milk I would but the didn't give me that option. On my way out I saw a roach on. Came here on a Saturday morning and got a coffee, donut holes and a ham, cheese and egg croissant. The breakfast croissant tasted pretty good - buttery and soft. The older lady behind the counter had warmed it up for me so the cheese was gooey and tasty. Why the 2 stars? The coffee was horrible, bitter, sour and watered down. The donut holes were okay but a little on the hard side. The cashier a younger lady behind the counter frowned the whole time I was there, ignored my request for napkins and just made the whole experience a bit negative. Recently tried the boba milk tea and the boba isn't as soft as it used to be, just the right firmness.

This is Christy's Donuts, but I came in for a sandwich. "Sandwich" accompanies, albeit in smaller text after the "Donuts" on the building... The large "Italian Sandwich", or the approx 8incher, split in two, goes for $5.75, including taxes (I love places that do this). This is also available in croissant version, but those buttery things tend to have a hard time holding the meat together. Italian? I thought there was capicola, but further examination smelled and seperatly tasted as the warm pastrami meat, also available on its own. Stacked underneath that was ham and turkey... [smiling], not exactly Italiano... but it was good, thinly sliced lean peppery pastrami, juicy, clearly not from the deli cuts package ham and turkey. 'Everything' puts tomato, lettuce, red onions, and dill chips together with mayo - and I mean together. I think it was actually a sandwich style slaw in there. First time I'd seen it done like that, and have to say for what ever reason they do, do it like that, its nicely done. Sandwich is average tasting though, I didn't say bad, but for me, not spectacular either. Price is right, but come up with a custom name for your "Italian." read more
