I had a good experience at Rose Donuts (Temple City). I ordered the Chocolate Donut with Sprinkles ($2). It's clean, fluffy, and sugary. (Important: There's a $3 Purchase Minimum if paying via Card.) I arrived at Rose Donuts (Temple City) on Wednesday (around 7AM). Parking is tight. The lot is fairly small and busy. Staff speaks Spanish and English. Staff is attentive. Surprisingly, this is a very popular location. It's filled with customers speaking Espanol. Staff is polite and respectful. Staff even explained that their old card fee sticker was outdated and no longer in effect. The ambiance is comfortable. This location is clean and had decent ventilation. There's also several clean tables to sit. They also sell Lotto. I felt welcomed in this business. Overall, Rose Donuts (Temple City) is a good experience. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Many come here for their morning coffee/breakfast. Everything seems like a typical local Asian owned donut shop, no complaints. Donuts, drinks, sandwiches were great. Cronuts not so much.. I've been really craving a cronut lately, many donut shops don't make them anymore. And saw that they still make them and only have a limited amount before they sell out everyday. It would be best to call to see if they have any left before making you way there if that is what you're looking for specifically, which I was. The recent photos of their cronuts looked so good from other people and sadly that wasn't what I got when I stopped by on a Friday morning around 9am. They have a list of filling you can choose from. Local donut shop with the most friendly service. They have a variety of donuts, snacks, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and juice. I have always passed by but never made my way inside. They have a good selection of different types of donuts and drinks. We specifically got the breakfast croissants with bacon egg and cheese. It was made pretty quickly and super crispy. It was good but needed a little more seasoning. We also ordered their juices, the carrot and orange was really refreshing as well as their green juices. They juice it fresh behind the counter. I tried this place because of a work meeting. This place was close by and convenient. I was very disappointed They charged $22 for a box mix of donuts but they mix it for you and dont let you pick the donuts. Plus theres an extra charge for using a debit card. There is also another charge for napkins. I paid almost $50 for two boxes of donuts . I thought okay maybe they will be super good. Then when trying the donuts they were like whatever. There was nothing special about them, no wow, no deliciousness. Little Cesars pizza is right in the same parking lot and for two boxes of pizza is $20. Sometimes you want to try new things and support mom and pop shops but the majority of the time it isn't worth it. This is my opinion and everyone has different tastes but I will not be buying donuts from here ever again. read more

I am new to frequent the 626 area and will FOREVER go to Rose Donut & Sandwiches. The owners are the friendliest folks and really make my visit above and beyond! Not only do they have a large variety of yummy donuts, they also have an extensive menu for breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I first came here in March 2024 and just recently came back again this week for work. The line was long, but moved quickly. No matter how busy it was, they took the time to conversate and wish me well. It was an amazing start to my morning. They have some seating indoors. Paring is plenty as it's in a private lot, easily accessible from Rosemead Blvd and Longden Ave. They accept cards as well, I'm not sure if there's a $ minimum, though. Was excited to try this place based off of reviews. When I got there mid morning, the selection was quite sparse. Service was about the same as any other donut place I would say... no complaints also nothing too noteable. And they just seem like any other mom and pop donut shop. They do charge an extra 4% for credit card purchases. I tried the plain cronut and it was nice and crispy but way too sweet to me. I couldn't finish even half of it. My kids had plain chocolate glazed donuts and even they said the donuts were way too sweet (and they never seem to complain about that). Don't think it is worth a second visit. read more

After trying a bunch, I landed on the cream cheese and strawberry filled bread or danish. Its strawberry jam with cream cheese and you can ask to get it toasted which puts it over the top. Secondly, the tuna sandwich. The tuna sandwich from here is the best I've ever tried. Im a big fan of tuna sandwich and heard this place makes one of the best. Hidden gem, one of my new favorites. Some of the best sandwiches around! The bread is really good - I like the Ultimate Club and the Fat Boy Sub but all of them are delicious because of the bread. In addition the breakfast croissant with bacon and egg is delish and one of my new faves in the morning. I have come back several times and the owners are always very friendly and seem to know many of the customers as regulars. It taste very similar to MCD sausage mc muffin but image the buttery croissant with it instead. Maple bacon cronut- definitely good for people looking for something sweet. This is my first cronut and i was not disappointed ! It reminded me of a bacon maple bar with the exception of the traditional donut. Their donut is so soft and airy. Love it! They don't have that much selection, at least from my recent visit on a weekday after lunch. But they do have the basics. Price is ok. 2 glazed + 1 small coffee came down to $4.50. The (assumed) husband and wife team served us quick and smoothly with very few interaction. They do have like 2 tables inside if you want to sit down but rarely anybody does. They do take card but under $12 has 75 cent fee. The only downside is they close at 3pm everyday, so early.
