Staff is extremely rude, asked for change and crumbled it infront of me and threw it while ucrsing at me.

Store has been open for 40 years , It is good place to play lotus and get some donuts and drink a cup of coffee.

Most people don't come here for the donuts. I grew up in a city nearby and was always in this part of the hood with friends from El Monte, so this place has been around and known of for years. Yes it's a donut shop but this place is known for its lottery. They sell tons of winning tickets, from scratchers to lotto tickets. Walking into this place it is full of winning tickets all over the walls (They display them). Winnings range anywhere from one dollar to thousand of dollars. I don't know what it is about this location but it's a lucky lucky place to buy, yet I have not won big I am always happy to try. This donut shop it located in a extremely big and busy plaza in El Monte. Yes there is tons of parking spots but because this plaza has a Northgate Market and lots of small shops around the parking is always a mad house, beware and drive with caution because people drive on the opposite lanes and they could care less FYi, Donuts are alright LoL I'll still buy one ;) Good Luck! read more

This place is more well known for lottery tickets (specifically scratchers) rather than donuts, haha. This store is filled with winning scratchers taped on their donut displays. There is a humongous selection of scratcher tickets behind the counter and also a machine near the back that sells them as well. Back to reviewing the donuts themselves. I enjoy grabbing donuts here if I have groceries to buy at Northgate, which is located in the same plaza. I wouldn't go out of my way for the donuts, as there are so many donut shops near my area already, but these donuts are good. The donuts here do not have that flavor of old oil like many other shops have. The cashiers are very friendly and always wish me luck when I buy lotto as well! read more

Late night donut cravings get fulfilled here! I like how there is a place near me where I can get donuts around the clock. Great for night owls and those coming home late. I went here around midnight and the donuts were freshly made. I got the glazed and they are fluffy. read more

0 stars super rude service I went in wanting to buy scratchers and was very rushed by the man whom works there yelling at me how many tickets I wanted when I was still looking to see which one I wanted. When I stated which one I wanted he yelled over and over "HOW MANY" "HOW MANY!" He threw my scratchers on the counter and demanded his money. Never going back here horrible service. what the heckkk.. I bought a ham and cheese croissant on tuesday. I ate half of it and realized it was a plain croissant. sad day They charged me for ham and cheese though. I paid $2.30 for a plain croissant. rip off! Anyways, mistakes happen. When I'm in El Monte this is my go to spot for some lottery tickets. I haven't won yet but the service here is friendly and quick. I walk in, buy my tickets and walk out in less then a few minutes. One day I may try some donuts but lottery tickets are my go to here. read more

What can I say? Their donuts are delicious, and the ham and cheese croissant is as amazing as can be. The first time I had the ham & cheese, I literally let out a small moan. Nice melted cheese with a bountiful serving of ham + a flaky croissant -- impossible to resist. As a customer who frequents this place rather often, I understand that they do get really busy. However, I feel that a little wait is entirely worth it! The donuts that they have on hand are really as good as you get, if not better. I would rather come here than go to Krispy Kreme. And the cherry on top is that they are open 24/7! If you ever have monstrous cravings at night for donuts, I totally recommend this place! Even if it's in the day time, I would still highly recommend this place! P.S GET THE HAM & CHEESE CROISSANT. You will not regret this, I promise you. the people attending are rude. When it comes to buying something in my experience I was rushed, and they didn't let me pick my own things. I also had a budget I clearly stated for scratchers and the lady chose a ticket for me without my consent and added more money to what I had to pay. Also I had won a ticket in a scratcher and she refused to give me the tickets worth and made me get a ticket that she in fact also got without my consent for me. This place is caught up in selling lotto tickets, scratchers and has loiterers. I grew up around the area, and I grew up coming here all the time. As ghetto as this place is, this is still the number one place I come for strictly donuts. Fresh, quality DONUTS.. I'm a donut fanatic, and this is still my go to place because of consistency. As sketchy as this place is, they have great donuts and are open 24/7! Just a regular no frills donut shop. Decent donut selection at random times throughout the night, but don't expect it to be fully stocked with every donut like most donut shops at 6am. My go to donuts are maple bars and they usually have them. You'll see a lot of random people hanging out/wandering around but so far they haven't been a problem. I think they all just need to get their lotto scratcher fix. Service is pretty friendly most of the time. Donuts are consistently good. Every time I decide to go somewhere else to try, I regret not coming here instead. read more

What?! I have to disagree with the reviews below. Normally, I come here sunday mornings and I get my dozen donuts. They have the $6.99 dozen donut option which includes those small cake donuts AND they have the 7.59$ dozen donut option which include virtually most of their donuts except like those huge donuts/crossiants. The $7.59 option is not on their menu but since most people prefer the big donuts, they have this option instead. My usual dozen ($7.59 option) -Glazed donuts -Chocolate covered donuts (custard filled) -CHOCOLATE TWISTS!!! -Glazed twists -Chocolate covered/Glazed donuts -Crumb and/or Coconut glazed donuts When you first walk into this small Cambodian mom and dad donut shop, you see the huge wall dedicated to lottery tickets. I think they sell the lottery tickets more than the donuts(?). Majority of their regulars are the older crowd. The workers here are generally nice and chill. came here because i love donuts. i'm always down to try new places. i came here pretty late afternoon and they were still well stocked. i also came here because i heard they had scratchers and a lot of them. although i lost my scratcher i don't regret coming here. the guy who served me was really nice upon greeting me. i witnessed something i haven't seen in a long time and that's respect for the man who's running the business. i love ma and pop shops. ill be returning next time. read more

I LOVE THESE DONUTS!!!! They're so good and tasty. I always drop by before work to pick up a box for my co-workers and the price is so good. The donut holes are especially good and the lady behind the counter is so sweet. I always get some coffee there also and the server on sunday, JULIE, is amazing and SO NICE. I would give this mom and pop shop a 3.5 if i possibly could. The ham and cheese croissant is pretty good when it's toasted. When I have a strong craving for donuts, I normally stick with the classics: glazed donuts, chocolate or maple bars, glazed donut holes, and chocolate glazed sprinkled cake donuts. They make all their donuts daily and repeatedly throughout the day when necessary. Whenever I bring my daughter with me, she always got the $2 worth of donut holes. Oh btw, they're pretty addicting. The atmosphere has the old feel to it. On one of the walls is decked out in scratchers (old and recent) that have won +$100. It just shows that this place has been here for a while which shows some character. Most of the regulars order the same thing: coffee, donut, and scratcher(s). The owners and workers are nice. They have been in business for such a long time, so they must be doing something right with how they run their shop. Some of the workers are more patient than others but generally, they are all nice. On sunday mornings, there is this lady who greets everyone who enters through the door. She tries to learn everyone's name for future greetings. She's quite friendly and very efficient when she works. Overall, this is my "go-to" donut shop whenever I'm in the area. read more
