I had to stretch my mouth wide to just bite. YUM!! (IMPORTANT!!! The added Card Fee is $1! Bring Cash to avoid extra charge.) I arrived at The Good Donut (El Monte) on Tuesday (around 6:03AM). Parking is easy. There's a medium size lot. Staff is very honest & very friendly. Staff happily welcomed me and wished me farewell. Staff easily uses words like "-my friend" and Staff makes polite talk seamlessly. Staff works hard. On ambiance, the location is comfortable. There's several tables, and there's a TV. However, this location is mostly an order-and-leave spot. There were many customers that rush in, order, and leave. It's a very popular donut shop in the community! The location is also well-ventilated and clean. Overall, The Good Donut (El Monte) is a WONDERFUL donut shop. There's integrity and hard work in those tasty goods. I happily recommend. 4.9 out of 5

I order an apple fritter doughnut, ham, egg, and cheese, croissant, and an iced coffee. The apple fritter doughnut is very crispy, which I like that a lot. It was not overly sweet, and I can still taste a little bit of apple flavor. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was bomb! The croissant was very fluffy and fresh. The sandwich itself is perfect on a Sunday morning when you do not want to make breakfast. The iced coffee was not too strong. It will be perfect if it is little stronger. There is a small parking lot available for parking. Street parking is also available. Price is reasonable. The owner of the shop is very friendly and intensive. The store is very clean. I'll come back for sure.

Cozy and friendly neighborhood spot with fresh donuts and amazing breakfast sandwiches…read more We got a dozen donuts and donut cream puffs which were all delicious, but the stand out was the croissant sandwich with ham egg and cheese. Get it with avocado and pickled jalapeños (not spicy) - so good! Easily my favorite breakfast sandwich! Wish I lived in CA so I could go more often!

Early Morning Donut Run... With One Very Dramatic Muffin…read more Decided to stop by this donut shop early in the morning to grab a few treats for hubby and me. There were a handful of parking spots available around 7 AM, so parking was easy, and the shop itself was very clean, bright, and welcoming. There were actually quite a few customers inside already, which is always a good sign! Since it had been forever since I last bought donuts, I ended up picking up a little variety: a cream cheese croissant, cheese muffin, blueberry muffin, and some donut holes. Now... let's talk about the muffin. First of all, it was HUGE and costed $3.50, hoping it was worth the price. But the moment I picked it up... the top literally fell completely off and beheaded itself! I just stood there looking at it like, "Well... that escalated quickly." Unfortunately, the muffin itself was the biggest disappointment. I'd honestly give it about 2/5 stars. It was very dry, and despite it being a cheese muffin, I couldn't really taste any cheese at all. It just wasn't worth the money for me. The donut holes (I think around $2.50 for about half a bag) were decent, but I've definitely had softer and fluffier ones elsewhere. They satisfied the sweet tooth, but they weren't particularly memorable. On the bright side, service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, the line moved quickly, and I was in and out within minutes. Overall, I'm glad I stopped by and gave this place a try since it was nearby. I probably wouldn't come back specifically for the muffins, but I'd be willing to give some of their breakfast sandwiches or other menu items a shot next time. Happy eats!

(Important: There's a $3 Purchase Minimum if paying via Card.) I arrived at Rose Donuts (Temple City) on Wednesday (around 7AM). Parking is tight. The lot is fairly small and busy. Staff even explained that their old card fee sticker was outdated and no longer in effect. The ambiance is comfortable. This location is clean and had decent ventilation. There's also several clean tables to sit. They also sell Lotto. I felt welcomed in this business. Overall, Rose Donuts (Temple City) is a good experience. The donuts are fine; staff is diligent; and the spot is respectable. 4.7 out of 5

Donuts, drinks, sandwiches were great. Cronuts not so much.. I've been really craving a cronut lately, many donut shops don't make them anymore. And saw that they still make them and only have a limited amount before they sell out everyday. It would be best to call to see if they have any left before making you way there if that is what you're looking for specifically, which I was. The recent photos of their cronuts looked so good from other people and sadly that wasn't what I got when I stopped by on a Friday morning around 9am. They have a list of filling you can choose from. I chose Custard, wasn't too sweet and just as expected. Cronut itself was almost like a sliced white bread texture- not much layers like a croissant, not really flaky or buttery.. Glaze on the outside was very very sweet and too thick it created a crust.

A humble, unassuming, little donut shop run by the sweetest people…read more We've come here fairly often for the massive hot breakfast sandwiches that come with a free coffee. (Great prices compared to Starbucks down the street btw). There's a lot of options and I've enjoyed everything I've had here so far. The coffee can be caffeinated or decaf. The creamers are stored to the side with ice packs. There are other drinks in a fridge and snack options to the side of the register. The blueberry donut is really good. I've also enjoyed their custard filled donut which was full of custard. If you order a ham and cheese croissant, they cut it in half and heat it up for you, which is a nice service. The cheese inside is really good. The interior is pretty small, but there's some seats if you want to sit down and have your breakfast. We always get ours to go. On our most recent visit they were having a fundraiser for their friend that perished in the Monterey Park shooting. So glad to have this staple in the neighborhood and to have a small business to support! Highly recommended little breakfast spot :)
