Since I'm not from this area, I found Queen's Donuts from too good to go and it was super easy process. The map took me through another way so I cut through a gas station and parked on the street but the donut shop has its own lot. The owner was lovely and picking up the donuts was super quick and easy. Everyone loved the morning pick me up donuts on a Monday morning. All the donuts were gone by the end of the day. They are really good and plenty to choose from. You can park on the street or in the lot. There are a couple tables inside to sit. Ordered a dozen through the 2GTG app and received a nice variety of donuts. The store is your typical small business owned shop, and parking lot can be a bit tight. I'm not from the area and needed to have something done to my car that would take about an hour in an adjacent business. I figured I'd grab a donut while I wait. I was greeted with very friendly people, Cinnamon roll was great but I did get a fresh squeezed juice and it was to die for! Juices are made to order and there are plenty to choose from. Came in before 9am to pickup a tgtg order. I purchased these donuts for the office. Everyone mentioned how very hard and dry (stale) they were. I was actually quite embarrassed to have brought them in for everyone to eat. The interior of the donut shop was clean but I will not be returning. I absolutely love the couple that works here. At least I think they're a couple. She greets me every time I come whether it's been a week two weeks or a month she always remembers me. They're so nice and friendly they make me laugh. I will say they get very busy during the 7 AM hour. Not surprised at all because their food is very delicious huge size for the price. my favorite is the sausage croissant. My kids always get smoothies and donuts from here. They're always stacked with donuts too, they have so many food options and drink options this place is great. They have a small parking lot but they're the only ones open in the morning anyways. Good donuts! Good ole neighborhood donut joint, nothing fancy but I think that supporting local family owned business is important. Nice owners. Busy in the mornings. They try hard to cater to everyone's need. I like that the interior is well lit and clean. I usually get a dozen here and the lady always gives me an extra one if there's room. The sisters that work here can be really rude and unprofessional depending on the time of day. I have been a long time customer (over 10 years) until I began to realize the negative attitude and poor customer service. It is a shame because the husband that works and makes the donuts here is a hardworking and overall nice man. I'm not always in El Monte but when I am I stop at Queen's donuts for a treat. The staff is always friendly and the donuts are always fresh. What else do you really want from a local donut shop? But If donuts are not your thing they have other great things to offer like a lunch special with a fresh made sandwich, chips, and a drink for around 5 bucks. Racist owner they treated my bio racial daughter bad she walked in without a mask. The man there stated you need a mask and handed her one she said thank you. She was in her roller skates as she just got them for Christmas so we thought hey why not go get some doughnuts while you try out your new skates. Btw the man said to her nice skates and smiled while being in the store he didn't ask her to leave because of it! Not even a minute or a few seconds later his wife or lady coworker came out and stated you cant skate in here get out as my daughter walked out she starts yelling at the man in her language and then tells my daughter wait you need to pay for the mask my daughter said ohh okay sorry he handed it to me and never told me I needed to pay for it she said no pay .50 cents now or get out and no skates here take them out now before she kicked her out she made sure she paid for the mask and didn't allow her to buy a doughnut. I was outside on the phone unfortunately it was an important call I feel horrible about it cuz had I been there she would of never experienced this ! Back to the story so my kiddo waited for me to end the call then told me this story. I then went and confronted her and recorded the whole conversation this owner was indeed racist she went back and fourth with me and then stated your kind ? My kind? She said your kind tags on my walls and their always in skates your boy cant come here I told her my child is not a boy she's a girl and she's only 10 she will not come and tag your store( I am a Hispanic mother and my daughter is half black half Hispanic )that is extremely rude to assume let alone for you to say and stereotyping her is not correct. If I could give this place more stars, I would! I work at a local high school and often stop in to get donuts for my students. The owner and her daughter are always there smiling and helpful. They will take my phone call a day before and have my order ready before I get there in the morning! The donuts are also the best around. They are not greasy and not overly sweet. They offer a wide variety and the cinammon rolls are amazing! The owner always throws in a few extra donuts and something special for me when I order a few dozen. The store also has other items - like a small discount store. They also have a tv. It seems that I am always there and the regulars are coming in for their coffee and ham/cheese croissant. Popular item, but I have not tried it. Please go support this local, family owned donut shop. It is well worth the trip. read more

This is my go to spot for donuts and a breakfast sandwich. I always get the #25 which is a croissant with sausage, bacon, cheese and egg and it is AWESOMENESS!!! The other things I usually get are there cake donuts I usually get the chocolate donut with peanuts and the crumb donut those 2 are also AWESOMENESS!! I am amazed. They have THE BEST croissants. The croissants are HUGE. Each one is essentially a meal. And really really cheap. This donut shop is my FAV. specially cuz its down the street. They bake everything fresh! I know because I'm pregnant and I get cravings at 4 am . as I was saying I stopped by one early morning at 4 am and the chocolate donuts had just came out, BOOOOOMB!!
