Ordered Doordash and my order came very fast - 30 min or less! There is a deal of 30% off selected bowls so I got the Medium Berry Me Bowl and it was $14.38. Love that they have "Build Your Own Bowls" and it comes in 3 different sizes. However, I wish they offered unlimited toppings like how most acai bowl places do. They charge $0.99 each topping which is pretty pricey! The Berry Me Bowl was so beautifully stacked with plenty of strawberries, blackberries, goji berries, and blueberries on top, acai base in the center, and way too much granola! The fruits were very fresh and sweet and I enjoyed how much fruit was given! However, I wish there was more acai since I felt like there wasn't enough and there was too much granola. Was in the area for a workout class and wanted a much needed sweet treat and found this in downtown Monrovia. Found Acai Bar, service was run by one employee and quick. There's in and outdoor seating. I got the Build Your Own - Nature which was a 12 oz., wished they had Pitaya as a base but there's only 3 bases; Acai, Ube, Majik. You can choose all 3, I liked the Ube more like creamy than icey compared to the 2 other bases. Topping you can choose 4; again limited to choices but sometimes less is more. Overall, good spot if you're craving an Acai bowl, there's lots of things to do walk around in downtown and people watch while you eat. read more

This cute açaí shop is located in the very charming old town Monrovia on Myrtle street. We ordered the regular açaí topped with the usual blueberries, strawberries, bananas and granola. I also bought one of their Chubby cookies. I got the chocolate chip one. It is more like a blonde bar than a cookie. The texture is dense, dry and crunchy. The flavor was good though. The shop is super adorable and service was good. The seating inside can accommodate about 10 people. There is free street parking and parking lots nearby. I recently stumbled across this place, and we've now ordered from them nearly every weekend since lol. While they don't have as many topping choices as other acai places, the price vs. oz quantity of acai + toppings is on point. We each get the biggest size (12 or 14 oz, I forget) with 4 toppings, which is so big that it makes 2 huge bowls/each, so we have acai all weekend. Their menu has quite a lot of variety on it...lots of pre-defined bowl choices as well as some build-your-own style options. On our last visit we wanted to try something new so we got a couple of chia pudding bowls and YUM!!! Omg we loooooved their chia pudding! Very soft, squishy, and light with an extremely generous portion! And it comes with three toppings of your choice so my hubby got all different berries and I got strawberries, blueberries, and Nutella and it turned out to be an awesome combination! Their fruits are always fresh and excellent quality- when they have them. It took us a while to get our order put in bc they were out of a lot of the fruits we wanted - like mango and blackberries. However, this was towards the end of the evening so they have more choices if you go earlier in the day. Their prices are good for the area. PRO TIP: they even have a coupon in the Monrovia Quarterly magazine for a BOGO bowl if you subscribe to that publication (always lots of local deals -highly recommend!). And they still have a Yelp check in offer on a nature bowl that pops up but it says that it expired this past summer so I'm not sure if that's still going. Staff are always friendly. Solid place to grab an acai bowl! I've been here twice and really enjoyed my order both times (for me, texture of the acai is really important. I don't like it when it's too icy). My favorite acai spot and not just because it's so close to home. The acai itself has the best flavor not too sweet and tastes legit compared to other artificial tasting places. Topping selection is great I would recommend the chia seed pudding but not the mango because it's rarely actually ripe. Ive had the protein shake several times and love it, I order it with oat milk and whey protein. My huordered the coffee shake once and it was not good so would steer clear of that one. Employees are friendly and provide suggestions. It can get really busy on the weekends but you can order ahead online and pick up which I recommend for Sat/Sun mornings. The service was fine and the store is cute. We were able to sample the bases before ordering. We ordered an açaí base with cacao nibs, bee pollen, goji berries and mangos. And another one with the Nutella specialty. The reason for two star is that the taste was relatively average and most importantly the mangos tasted like they were frozen mangos and I don't know if they were old or what but I suspect they were bad somehow. They tasted off and not long after eating I got sharp stomach pain. I would avoid the fruits that might come frozen. Banana seems fine. read more

The pricing is decent, but would like to have more toppings for that price. Or if it could expand to other bases like pitaya, spirulina, etc. overall, it was fast to order and it's made to order.
