I've been craving a good açaí bowl and I'm glad we found this spot! There was only one lady working, but she was doing an amazing job keeping up with orders. You can tell she was taking her time to perfect these bowls. Thankfully, we beat the Saturday rush, so we didn't have to wait long. We ordered the Nutella Berry Toast, and it was so good--loaded with fresh fruit, crunchy granola, coconut, and just the right amount of Nutella. It was refreshing, and filling! There's in and outdoor seating. I got the Build Your Own - Nature which was a 12 oz., wished they had Pitaya as a base but there's only 3 bases; Acai, Ube, Majik. You can choose all 3, I liked the Ube more like creamy than icey compared to the 2 other bases. Topping you can choose 4; again limited to choices but sometimes less is more. I recently stumbled across this place, and we've now ordered from them nearly every weekend since lol. While they don't have as many topping choices as other acai places, the price vs. oz quantity of acai + toppings is on point. We each get the biggest size (12 or 14 oz, I forget) with 4 toppings, which is so big that it makes 2 huge bowls/each, so we have acai all weekend. We split the toppings into 2 servings at home, add more toppings we have on hand, and can make 4 enormous bowls for $28 to last the whole weekend, which is on point! read more

This is an absolute Monrovia classic. We get the classic açaí bowls every Sunday for dinner. We always stick to the classic Nutella fella. The outdoor seating is nice especially as it is in downtown Monrovia. The service is usually speedy but often there is only one worker and they can get very rushed. Still one of our fave fruit-bowl spots in the SGV! Lots of options, fruit is always fresh, staff are friendly, great location, and their açaí base has a lovely flavor - it's not too sweet and always tastes freshly made. Their menu has quite a lot of variety on it...lots of pre-defined bowl choices as well as some build-your-own style options. On our last visit we wanted to try something new so we got a couple of chia pudding bowls and YUM!!! Omg we loooooved their chia pudding! Very soft, squishy, and light with an extremely generous portion! And it comes with three toppings of your choice so my hubby got all different berries and I got strawberries, blueberries, and Nutella and it turned out to be an awesome combination! Their fruits are always fresh and excellent quality- when they have them. It took us a while to get our order put in bc they were out of a lot of the fruits we wanted - like mango and blackberries. However, this was towards the end of the evening so they have more choices if you go earlier in the day. Their prices are good for the area. PRO TIP: they even have a coupon in the Monrovia Quarterly magazine for a BOGO bowl if you subscribe to that publication (always lots of local deals -highly recommend!). And they still have a Yelp check in offer on a nature bowl that pops up but it says that it expired this past summer so I'm not sure if that's still going. Staff are always friendly. Since my last review, they've added another larger table inside so there's a little more inside seating. Solid place to grab an acai bowl! I've been here twice and really enjoyed my order both times (for me, texture of the acai is really important. I don't like it when it's too icy). You could order one of their signature bowls or you could build your own bowl which comes with 4 toppings of your choice. My favorite acai spot and not just because it's so close to home. The acai itself has the best flavor not too sweet and tastes legit compared to other artificial tasting places. Topping selection is great I would recommend the chia seed pudding but not the mango because it's rarely actually ripe. Ive had the protein shake several times and love it, I order it with oat milk and whey protein. My huordered the coffee shake once and it was not good so would steer clear of that one. Employees are friendly and provide suggestions. It can get really busy on the weekends but you can order ahead online and pick up which I recommend for Sat/Sun mornings.
