Moo Moo Mia in downtown Monrovia really has the BEST Oreo and Cream ice cream around town. It is SO good I can literally eat this for lunch every day if I don't gain weight from it. The ice cream shoppe is cute and the menu items are of average price. A single scoop is about $6 and they offer ice cream flights if you want to try out different flavors. Service wise-I think it varies. It was my third time there a few days ago and I think at my first visit there, the girl who helped me was very sweet but at my last visit, service was just so-so. Overall, Moo Moo Mia a great place for dessert.

Got the opportunity to try this place out because my mom was craving ice cream after her Mother's Day dinner The staff was sooo sweet and patient with us since it was our first time there, and they let us sample flavors before choosing. We ended up getting the flight for $15 and it was totally worth it! My favorite was the coffee chip, and my mom loved the strawberry and chocolate one. Everything was super creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Such a cute little spot & definitely coming back

One of my favorite ice cream shops! They're open daily - Mon-Thurs - 12pm-10pm - Fri & Sat - 11am-11pm - Sun - 11am-10pm Parking was easy since there was a nearby free parking structure and also street parking! Inside was quite small but there were a couple tables and chairs Service was friendly and they offered free samples! Pricing was reasonable. - Single Scoop - $5.50 - Kids Scoop - $4.25 - Double Scoop - $7 - Triple Scoop - $8.50 There were milkshakes, floats, and sundaes ($8+), as well as pints (1 pint - $11.50, 2 pint - $23, and 3 pint - $34.50) Bowls & cones were only $1.25 and toppings were $0.75! There were also other yummy baked goods, like cookies and brownies! Got the Double ($7) and I chose the Ferrero Rocher & Double Coffee Chip. The Ferrero Rocher was so creamy and delicious! It had bits of hazelnut and chocolate chips inside. It wasn't too sweet and it definitely resembled the candy very well so this was 10/10! The Double Coffee Chip was good! It had bits of chocolate chip and it wasn't too sweet. It tasted like it was made from actual coffee beans and didn't taste artificial. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely return and recommend!

Yum! First time visiting, their homemade ice cream was fantastic! The shop was spacious & clean with indoor & outdoor seating. Their ice cream is made with real fruit and you can instantly taste it. The staff was so patient & generous in letting me sample several flavors. I love how they label gluten free, vegan, dairy free so you feel safe choosing your flavor. Their mystery sorbet this week was grapefruit, it was delicious. I ended up choosing their flavor of the month: tiramisu & strawberry koldskal (buttermilk). My friend chose strawberry sorbet & Dutch chocolate. I'm so glad I found this place, we will definitely return to try more flavors. There's a free parking lot & street parking on Lime Ave next to the library & a few spots in front of the store.

Moo Moo Mia in downtown Monrovia is seriously a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The food was the real highlight though every dish we tried was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and clearly made with care. You can tell they really put thought into their menu. What stood out just as much was the service. The staff were polite, courteous, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. They made sure we had everything we needed and added to the overall great experience. If you're in the Monrovia area and looking for something delicious with great vibes and friendly service, Moo Moo Mia is definitely worth a visit. I'll for sure be coming back to try more!

This 2 stars is for the service on Monday. ( same date I write this review) I love Moo Moo Mia, this is my favorite spot for ice cream. I've been their customer since last year and no other place can replace it until today. This employee I'm not sure if she's the new one or she's been here for awhile but I havent met her before. Her face looks annoyed when helping us out with samples, we wanted to tip but she doesn't look welcoming us at all. Then I asked for a spoon, and ask her if she's happy today. Completely ignored me. If the owner see this, please train your employee. Don't let this beautiful place go down because of the service

Great staff, service, and ambiance. I enjoyed the abundance of seating on a busy Saturday evening. The ice cream itself was delicious and super friendly staff that gives recommendations and samples.

It might be one of my new favorite spots for dessert! The workers are so nice and friendly. Parking is available on the street or in lots around the corner. I tried out their February flavors: chocolate covered strawberries and thin mint cookies. They were so kind to let me have 2 flavors for a single scoop ($5.50) or half & half flavors.

There's public parking or street parking to get here. There's some outdoor chairs or indoor table seating. There's a decent selection of flavors plus the monthly rotation of flavors. The staff are nice and helpful. You can get ice cream real quick. You can even buy it by the pint and some store merch. The noise level is decent amd it's usually clean inside. I got the Thin mints girl scout cookies flavor. It's basically what it advertised. The sweetness level is just right here. I've had a few of the other flavors before and none have disappointed.

I enjoyed the ambiance of this shop. There were plenty of table inside to sit and enjoy your dessert. There were also some chairs outside the shop. I love the choices of ice cream There were. You can get shakes made too. The workers were really nice and fast. Samples were served with a small metal spoon and there was a container that held all the used spoons on top so it doesnt get thrown away. I will be back!

Amazing ice cream shop to check out in Old Town Monrovia - super cute road with many restaurants, bars, dessert, movie theater and so much more. I've gone to Moo Moo Mia 3x now and it never disappoints. They're constantly creating tasty and fun flavors each month. My favorite: - ferrero rocher - limited edition January 2026: straw covered chocolate - almond chip crossiant

Still my go-to ice cream spot in Old Town Monrovia. They have so many unique and fun flavors, and they're really generous with samples. It's been a while since I've been here, but I had a free scoop on my rewards, so I tried the Charmed flavor this time, basically Lucky Charms in ice cream. Delicious!

I ordered the Trio Taster ($7.50). That's one full scoop and two half scoops in one cup. I selected Pumpkin Spice & Stracciatella, Lina's Dubai Chocolate, and Sweet Taro. Each bite felt heavenly. Moo Moo Mia (Monrovia) is one of the best. The hype is real!! I arrived at Moo Moo Mia (Monrovia) on Saturday (around 7:05PM). Street parking was full this weekend. Fortunately, Old Town Monrovia's public parking lot is nearby. It's a brief three minute walk. Staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and diligent. Staff happily offered samples, and staff eagerly answered all questions. Fortunately, I arrived with no line, so service was immediate. I ordered the Trio Taster ($7.50). It's a lot of ice cream! And its flavor & texture was spectacular. The Lina's Dubai Chocolate was very creamy, silky with crackly flakes that pop with pistachio flavor. Its chocolate tasted very rich. Next, the Pumpkin Spice & Stracciatella felt delicate yet flavorful. Its pumpkin spices danced brazenly. Lastly, the Sweet Taro felt very memorable and fresh. Its loving taro flavor wrapped me in a caring, tender embrace. The ice cream tasted very fresh and creamy. I felt happy. Regarding ambiance, Moo Moo Mia (Monrovia) felt comfortable. Its interior had a light warmth. There's also clean floors and tables. The location had one customer restroom and three available electrical outlets. I appreciated how its decor's colors felt bright and cheerful. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Moo Moo Mia (Monrovia). One Yelp friend had described this location as one of the best ice cream joints in the San Gabriel Valley. To my utter delight, I'm inclined to agree. 5 out of 5. Go!!

This restaurant is located in a small plaza but parking is plenty and the wait is not long for a Saturday afternoon. There is a boba place inside but the drinks doesn't look that great so we didn't order any. The staffs are very nice and the setup inside is pretty unique. We didn't get to sit inside one of the Hexagon pods or the lantern cage table but its ok. The ramen is actually pretty good. The broth has a deep flavor to it and the ramen itself is not bad. It is not spectacular but I would say slightly above average. We ordered Combo B so it came with a lot of extra stuff. The ramen though cannot be exchanged so I got the Sapporo Miso Ramen while my wife got the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen. We also ordered the Yakitori Platter. While the Ramen are decent, the other dishes are subpar. I am 99% sure the Yakitori was pre-made and just reheated. It has no char flavor at all. I believe some off site kitchen prepped the food and the restaurant just reheated the food. That was the most disappointing part of the meal. The cost of the Yakitori was equivalent to actual Yakitori places so I expected decent quality Yakitori. I think the popcorn chicken is the same. It has no crunch to it at all and it is barely warm. The two desserts are decent. Those can be prepare ahead and won't affect the flavor since they are served chilled. After the meal, one of the bowls actually won a free drink so we'll claim it when we return next time. Overall the meal was decent. I just won't order the appetizers next time. Normally I would just give a 3 star since the Yakitori was a bust but the staffs are very nice so I kept it at 4 stars. The place is also very clean too so I would like to repeat to try other dishes.

Kyuramen x TBaar brings together a Japanese-inspired ramen restaurant and bubble tea café under one…read moreroof, offering a menu that extends well beyond ramen. We walked into a space that stands out for its modern interior, featuring private wooden booth seating that creates a cozy, semi-private dining experience, the kind of setup that makes the meal feel more intimate than a typical ramen shop. The atmosphere feels contemporary and social, with a clean, thoughtfully designed layout that works well for both casual dinners and group outings, and the attached TBaar makes it easy to finish the meal with a specialty tea or dessert without leaving the restaurant. While ramen is the restaurant's signature, many of the menu's standout dishes are actually found elsewhere. The omurice is one of the most popular items, served with a fluffy egg and rich demi-glace or curry sauce that makes it one of the restaurant's signature comfort dishes, and the presentation, with the egg split open at the table, adds a theatrical element to the meal. Other highlights include yakitori, bao buns, katsu, takoyaki, and appetizers that give the menu plenty of variety. The ramen itself is solid, with options ranging from traditional tonkotsu to the Yin Yang Ramen that lets you sample both spicy and non-spicy broths in one bowl, though the quality of the ramen can feel less memorable than some of the restaurant's other specialties, the broth lacking the depth and complexity that defines a dedicated ramen shop. The attached TBaar also adds another layer to the experience with milk teas, fruit teas, and desserts that pair well with the meal. Matcha tiramisu, Japanese cherry blossom jelly, and other sweets help round out the menu, making it easy to stay for dessert instead of stopping somewhere else afterward, and the drinks are well prepared, with the tea flavors coming through clearly without being overly sweet. The restaurant's design is one of its biggest strengths. The wooden booths provide a semi-private dining experience, and the overall space feels clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, creating an environment that encourages lingering over a meal rather than rushing through it. Service is generally friendly and welcoming, though it can slow down during busier periods as the restaurant fills up, with the team handling the steady flow but sometimes taking longer to check in when the dining room is at capacity. The overall experience remains positive, and the pace of the meal stays comfortable even when the service stretches. Kyuramen x TBaar offers more than just ramen. The inviting atmosphere, diverse menu, and combination of savory dishes, drinks, and desserts make it a well-rounded dining destination. While the ramen may not be the strongest reason to visit compared to some dedicated ramen shops, the omurice, appetizers, desserts, and unique dining experience make it a place worth trying, especially if you are looking for variety rather than focusing on a single dish. The balance of creativity, comfort, and a polished setting makes it a versatile option for a meal that feels more like an experience than a quick stop.

While we tried each flavor, she described each of its components in great detail - something I truly appreciated!! Everything was delicious but I personally ended up getting the Mango Sago and Vietnamese Coffee (probably would not mix the two next time lol but delicious individually). The mango sago tasted like fresh mangoes and reminded me of a rich high quality mango sorbet. SO. Good. The perfect summer treat! Vietnamese coffee tasted exactly like how the drink would taste, which I was honestly surprised about since coffee ice creams are flavored a bit sweeter than the actual drink. It was perfect for me but may not be everyone's cup of tea because it does have bitterness :) The ambiance in there is amazing - details in every cranny and nook of the space. It's retro and very chill / relaxing! There are a very limited amount of tables but I did see stacks of plastic stools for people to sit on outside. Also there's a coin machine where you can purchase lactaid. A small gesture keeping the community in mind haha.

Softer than boba, soft like jello, yet has that chewy, gooey texture. Not my favorite texture, but glad I tried it. I just saw that they had black sesame flavor too, but I was in such a rush, I must have missed it on the menu. Comes with a little bottle of brown sugar syrup, which is rich in brown sugar flavor and quite sweet too. When poured over the warabimochi, it does only taste like the brown sugar syrup. I would recommend that you eat the warabimochi with ice cream. I didn't order any at the store, but ate the ice cream I had at home. Choice of ice cream was Straus Family Creamery's Vanilla Bean. It didn't overpower the warabimochi flavors of the matcha or kinako, it simply added more creaminess and additional texture to the dessert. Also, you can get a firmer texture when you put the warabimochi in the fridge overnight, which I thought was much better and enjoyable to eat. HOJICHA CLOUD Very good hojicha flavor. But mostly it is cream. Hence, the name Cloud. I got it 100% sweetness and I asked for warabimochi pieces added to the drink. They give you a boba straw to drink. Warabimochi was very soft, light chewiness, cut into smaller pieces. The drink was very slightly on the sweeter side, but it's that or 50% sweetness level. There was a lot of ice in it, which means there's less hojicha drink too. Got it in medium size. Small size and medium size cost difference is 0.75 cents. Best to get a medium size. There's also a large size, which is much bigger in comparison to the medium. STRAWBERRY MATCHA CLOUD This had a good matcha and strawberry flavor all around. They also added warabimochi in this drink too. The matcha is a cream top and the rest is strawberries with milk. It tasted good and not overly sweet. This was 100% sweetness. Personally wished there wasn't any warabimochi in it, but it automatically comes with the drink. Did not realize there would be any in it too until after I ordered it. I would reorder the drinks. Maybe order one without warabimochi though. I would try their other drink offerings too. I haven't tried their black sesame warabimochi, so might return to try that one. CUSTOMER SERVICE Good, friendly customer service. Only two people working. Warabimochi came out first, then the drinks. Everything came out in order and quickly. LOCATION Located at Santa Anita Mall. First floor. At the food court. Across from Zumiez and Shoe Palace, Daniel's, Game Stop. Just follow the Food Court sign and you'll find it quicker. It is a stand alone store right in the center of the food court.

I needed a bday cake and decided to order the strawberry shortcake, because it looked so pretty. The cake was a hit with the family. The frosting was super light, the filling is one layer of custard and the other of light whipped cream and berries. The sponge is moist, the cake is not sweet, but decadent in its creamy texture. The inside of the store is aesthetically appealing, traditional glass cases showcase the pan. I'm so glad to have a nearby bakery and cake shop!

Cafe De Olla Bakery is conveniently located next to Club Pilates, my workout spot. While I am very…read morehappy about this (I love Cafe de Olla in Monrovia), getting coffee and a pastry post-workout might very well become my routine if I don't exercise enough self-control! Like some of the reviews already mentioned, this location is more of a "grab and go" type of place. They have a solid selection of cakes, pastries, and drinks. If you are looking for their full breakfast menu, the Monrovia location down the street is where you would want to go! When I visited, they were celebrating their 1-year anniversary with an outside table of samplers. They had a balloon arch outside to signal to the community that they are celebrating something special as well. The lady out front shared with me what they had to offer, and she also mentioned that they do catering! I like my coffee strong but also on the sweet side. When I asked for the stronger option, I was recommended to get the cappucino rather than the latte and they can make the caffeine a little bit more concentrated without sacrificing the flavor. The cookies were a little dry for my taste but maybe it was because the samplers were sitting outside for a little too long. I would go back just to try the breakfast sandwich, but the experience of grabbing food was pretty fast and the food was flavorful enough! Excited to have a closer Cafe de Olla to me and wishing them so much success!
