Moo Moo Mia in downtown Monrovia really has the BEST Oreo and Cream ice cream around town. It is SO good I can literally eat this for lunch every day if I don't gain weight from it. The ice cream shoppe is cute and the menu items are of average price. A single scoop is about $6 and they offer ice cream flights if you want to try out different flavors. Service wise-I think it varies. It was my third time there a few days ago and I think at my first visit there, the girl who helped me was very sweet but at my last visit, service was just so-so. They're open daily - Mon-Thurs - 12pm-10pm - Fri & Sat - 11am-11pm - Sun - 11am-10pm Parking was easy since there was a nearby free parking structure and also street parking! Pricing was reasonable. - Single Scoop - $5.50 - Kids Scoop - $4.25 - Double Scoop - $7 - Triple Scoop - $8.50 There were milkshakes, floats, and sundaes ($8+), as well as pints (1 pint - $11.50, 2 pint - $23, and 3 pint - $34.50) Bowls & cones were only $1.25 and toppings were $0.75! There were also other yummy baked goods, like cookies and brownies! Got the Double ($7) and I chose the Ferrero Rocher & Double Coffee Chip. The Ferrero Rocher was so creamy and delicious! It had bits of hazelnut and chocolate chips inside. It wasn't too sweet and it definitely resembled the candy very well so this was 10/10! The Double Coffee Chip was good! This 2 stars is for the service on Monday. ( same date I write this review) I love Moo Moo Mia, this is my favorite spot for ice cream. I've been their customer since last year and no other place can replace it until today. This employee I'm not sure if she's the new one or she's been here for awhile but I havent met her before. Her face looks annoyed when helping us out with samples, we wanted to tip but she doesn't look welcoming us at all. Then I asked for a spoon, and ask her if she's happy today. Completely ignored me. Yummy ice cream! I really enjoyed Moo Moo Mia. I visited in August 2025 and tried their Cookie Butter and Banana Chocolate Cajeta flavors. They allow you to order a split scoop and enjoy two different flavors despite ordering a single scoop, which I greatly appreciated as someone trying this shop for the first time and wanting to try multiple flavors. They have ample seating and friendly staff who are happy to provide samples of different flavors as you figure out what you would like to order. AHHH the December holiday flavors here are to die for!! Highly recommend the banana bramble and peppermint mocha before the month ends. The cashiers were so patient and let us try so many samples even though the line was long. We got one strawberry sorbet, banana berry bramble, toasted almond cherry, Oreo and cream, dark chocolate, and vanilla bean. Each or sweet and delicious, we would've given it a 4.5. Only because one of it was just way too sweet. But overall, we were really happy. We'll try to visit the location so we can give better rating on the service staff and the general ambience of the location. It was so soft and melted by the time I got to our home, so we were not able to see how dense it was, so we just gave the best review that we could. Staff happily offered samples, and staff eagerly answered all questions. Fortunately, I arrived with no line, so service was immediate. I ordered the Trio Taster ($7.50). It's a lot of ice cream! And its flavor & texture was spectacular. The Lina's Dubai Chocolate was very creamy, silky with crackly flakes that pop with pistachio flavor. Its chocolate tasted very rich. Next, the Pumpkin Spice & Stracciatella felt delicate yet flavorful. Its pumpkin spices danced brazenly. Lastly, the Sweet Taro felt very memorable and fresh. Its loving taro flavor wrapped me in a caring, tender embrace. The ice cream tasted very fresh and creamy. I felt happy. Regarding ambiance, Moo Moo Mia (Monrovia) felt comfortable. Its interior had a light warmth. There's also clean floors and tables. The location had one customer restroom and three available electrical outlets. I appreciated how its decor's colors felt bright and cheerful. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Moo Moo Mia (Monrovia). Still going strong as our fave ice cream spot! We've been regulars here for years - Moo Moo Mia really shines with the way they prioritize natural ingredients (often sourced from local farmers markets - especially in their rotating sorbet flavors) and lack of all that artificial stuff that's so ubiquitous nowadays. I can really tell the difference anytime we try to get ice cream anywhere else - so I guess Moo Moo Mia has ruined me for all the other ice creams haha! I love that they have new seasonal flavors each month. Sept 2025 was one for the books - they introduced their take on the Dubai chocolate and it was magnificent. And they had a new sorbet flavor - fresh blueberry and it was absolutely divine. I did a split scoop half and half with each of those and it was my fave thing I've tried here so far! Staff are always super friendly and welcoming- offering any samples we wish. Prices are a tad higher than other places but the quality is definitely there. I've been chasing the pure sweet cream flavor of the seasonal Honey Lavender awhile now, but they don't seem to use that base often. The employees are also very nice. SEASONAL FLAVORS - Honey Lavender Cream. This flavor was DIVINE!!! The lavender flavor was present and not overwhelming. Honey added a touch of sweetness and enhanced the fragrance of the lavender. And both the honey and lavender enhanced the dairy flavor of the sweet cream base. - Lemon Cookies & Cream. The lemon flavor was nostalgic, similar to lemon Oreos (think vanilla and artificial lemon extract). I enjoyed creamy and milky base. The cookies were not "crisp" as advertised, but a firm cakelike texture. - Banana Pumpkin Bread. I was pleasantly surprised by the bread permeating the ice cream! It achieved a balance between both flavors of pumpkin and banana bread. - Rosewater Pistachio Swirl. I enjoyed the rosewater part, but not the aftertaste of the pistachio. - Christmas Cookies & Cream. Whole milk ice cream swirled with Christmas cookies. The concept was festive and fun, but the dairy flavor of the base wasn't as good as the Honey Lavender or Lemon Cookies & Cream. The holiday cookie texture varied between good chewy pieces and small hard crumbs. - Banana Bramble Berry Pie. The banana ice cream and bramble berry jam were balanced, but I couldn't help thinking that I would have preferred these flavors separately so they could shine on their own. - Eggnog(?). This was one of the December mystery flavors. I snuck a bite out of my bf's cup. I was again pleasantly surprised because I don't like drinking eggnog, but the ice cream tasted pretty good. It was like a spiced rum frozen custard. YEAR ROUND FLAVORS - Sea Salt Caramel. It was good, but I think there could have been more emphasis on the caramel flavor. read more
