    Viet Vietnamese Iced Coffee
    Amber M.

The cashier was super friendly and provided great customer service. I was in town and searched for substitutions for Goldstein's that closed down last year. This was one of the suggestions. I ordered a plain bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese ($4.50), then realized they had viet coffee, which is my fav, so I ordered a regular sized one ($7). The bagel was soft and fresh, but a little on the drier side, and the cream cheese comes on the side which is nice to be able to put the amount I wanted myself. The viet coffee came in a 16 oz cup and was pretty much filled to the brim with ice, so there's very little coffee for the $7 price tag (I don't mind the price, just wished their was more drink instead of mostly ice). The flavor is really good at least. Overall this is a cute small business to support. Will def come back to try other items in the future.

This coffee shop is in a busy quite area in Arcadia with a small town charm. The service is pretty quick. The shop is not huge but they have at least 6-7 tables that I recall. Parking was easy to find on this Saturday. They have lots of drinks and baked goodies. I loved the Vietnamese ice coffee here. This is a locally owned coffee shop that has been here for years in downtown Arcadia. The inside is homey and unpretentious. Their coffee is really good. I have had their iced lattes, chaggachino, and today iced Vietnamese coffee. They make their Vietnamese coffee fresh on the spot, it's not pre-made. They also serve pastries made by Homeboy industries. I got a cranberry scone today and it was delicious. There is an outdoor patio in addition to inside seating. My only complaint is service could be better. I have been here 3x and the barista has never ever been friendly or smiley!

$6.50 for a pumpkin spice latte was posted on their menu board, yet I was charged $6.75?

I was in the area to check out a fitness studio and Hyper Coffee was down the street. Figured this is perfect for a quick lunch. Plus their coffee/latte + food menu looked pretty promising. Small shop but there are a few indoor and outdoor seating. And there's a nice patio area in the back. Ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte w/almond milk plus an avocado toast. So I see it cost $6.50 for a pumpkin spice latte on their menu board, but yet I was charged $6.75? I know it's only a 25 cent difference, yes, it may not be much. But it's the principal and this looks like unethical behavior for running their business like this. Also, an additional $1.25 because I wanted almond milk?!? Talk about price gouging at its finest. Most coffee shops don't even charge that much for milk alternatives! Ridiculous. The avocado toast was the most basic thing I've ever seen when it comes to how avocado toasts are made. Just avocado sliced on top, some scrambled eggs and a few whole tomatoes. (See photo attached). Another disappointing item. It cost $10 for this...should've been like $6 instead. Definitely felt ripped off.

Can't explain it but this shop felt so welcoming and warm. I was greeted with a pleasant hello and I ordered a cold brew and carrot cake. Just the ambiance would make me come back but the cold brew was great and the carrot cake was so moist and fresh! I asked the lady and she had said they had been there for 24 years. Congrats!

Came here a couple months ago. The chaga match was good with a unique flavor from the mushroom, but it's too sweet without any adjustments. They could adjust it, but they said it would affect the flavor a bit. I also tried the croissant breakfast sandwich with eggs and cheese. That was really good and the portion is bigger than I thought. The inside is not very big, but there are at least 4-5 tables available if I remember correctly. They also have an outside area to sit behind the cafe with umbrella coverage. The staff is super nice and the place felt clean. Good place to chat with friends.

I had ordered the chaggacino so the oatmilk and a shot of espresso. The entire experience was pretty straightforward. Just ordered my drink, received it and very minimal interaction. My drink was made well. Parking is curbside.

    Chipotle Chicken Panini

Great spot for coffee. Service was great as well. The only issue was with the food. Not sure if they were running low or what but for $18 i expect a sandwich to come with a healthy amount of substance but instead i got a mouthful of bread and a couple stray pieces of chicken.

I visited on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. I really like the cozy atmosphere here--it's a nice spot for studying or hanging out with friends. There are multiple outlets and free Wi-Fi. Also seating indoor and outdoor. The service was friendly, and they offer a variety of delicious breakfast sandwiches and lunch options. I tried their Nuttin Honey iced coffee and the Lox bagel. The coffee was pretty good, however I thought the bagel was a little salty for my liking. I'll definitely be coming back!

The food was fresh, delicious and very fresh. The vinaigrette was light and didn't feel overpowering. The service courteous and prompt. Very professional. A warm ambiance and they even have an outdoor patio. I highly recommend you come support our local, privately owned small business.

Really nice place to hang overall. We see people with laptop inside, maybe studying. We chose to sit in the back patio with our dog. Very cozy with the greenery. They have dog bowl for water. You will probably have to ask, some staff don't know they have it. Quiet neighborhood. Maybe a little too quiet to chit chat loudly and comfortably. We found ourselves almost whispering at times! but most people have their earbuds anyway. Got iced americano and vietnamese coffee. Americano is solid. If you want vietnamese coffee, maybe get something else. Pastries are pretty good too. They can heat up for you. Located walking distance to the park. You can grab a coffee and walk over there.

Huge shoutout to awesome YES rockstar @JohnT for the tasty coffee!! A much needed pick me up and was great to see you!!

I've gotten at least a dozen sandwiches (and likely more) from Ike's over the years, and it was always my favorite local sandwich shop after they finally opened a location in the northeast side of LA. But I must say, as of late, their quality is really not the same as the past. I recently ordered a sandwich that came with mushrooms and it was barely cooked and mostly raw. Having raw mushrooms in a sandwich is really not it, and considering each sandwich here is about $16+ post tax and tip (yes I did tip), I think we can expect a little better quality, or at the very least, not having basically raw mushrooms in a sandwich. While they do have many sandwiches to choose from on such a vast menu, and everything is customizable (just with additional charges), it does feel like they'd do better if they nail down some of the details like making sure their cooked ingredients are actually cooked. All that said, the store is kept clean, there's some dine in tables as well as outdoor seating. The music indoors is kept loud, and the decor is very colorful and bold. Service feels like what you'd expect from employing recent high school or college students at their first jobs, but it's always been polite. Pictured: one of the many sandwiches I've consumed over the years from Ike's. This one attached happened to be from 2023.

Sheeeeeeeeeiiit. True story- All throughout my time at San Pedro High, my best friend Mick and I usta demolish their Combo Burger Platter (burger/fries AND onion rings, side salad and drink) for only $3.65. 40yr flashback over, your favorite Yelp correspondent went for Fantastic's pastrami sandwich combo. And while it doesn't come with a quintet of items guaranteed to fillya up- I can vouch that the pastrami is legit!!! Well seasoned, peppered, served steaming hot aboard a French roll gently slicked with mustard. I've had my share of fabulous pastrami in my time- Katz Deli in NY, Brent's Deli in Northridge and more locally and if you're in a severe 'strami fix...then Togo's #9 will do ya, too. This doesn't compete at those lofty levels, but for its price I'll order this eight days a week over the razor-thin pastrami dispensed by the overrated The Hat chain of pastrami-phixated locales! While this was a takeout order, I can attest that all of my.prior dealings w/ the Eat Fantastic staff has been just fine. Courteous and swift service.

Burger ($12.24). If the ingredients were fresher, it would have been a much better experience. Still, there's an appreciated juicy, meat flavor since it's cooked well. Unfortunately, it's also a very messy burger that's drenched in its own grease. I had that annoying oily aftertaste desperately clinging onto me after this meal. I felt the urge to shower after eating. On ambiance, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) is lovely. Although it's odd how no music played, I appreciated the big flat screen television displaying the baseball game. The location is also kid friendly since I counted a few high chairs for kids. Also, it's well-shaded, airy, and clean. I appreciate the hard effort towards making this dining area spotless and comfortable. In addition, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) has about 10 tables and one long table. Also, there's a nearby gender neutral restroom for customers. Overall, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) has potential. Although the meat tastes cheap, it's prepared at an exemplary level. Maybe I'll return in the future, but as of now, it's just an adequate option for customers that like affordable but very greasy food. 3.9 out of 5
