Chipotle Chicken Panini

Great spot for coffee. Service was great as well. The only issue was with the food. Not sure if they were running low or what but for $18 i expect a sandwich to come with a healthy amount of substance but instead i got a mouthful of bread and a couple stray pieces of chicken.

Food: 4/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Quick coffee stop after lunch. Parking was easy. I was there Friday around 2pm. There were few tables occupied and plenty of seating available. I like that they have back yard seating. It has very good potential for decoration. Now it's was just a bench table and couple of round tables. I ordered my go to, Cortado and my friend ordered matcha latte. Nowadays I have thing to sit down and have my coffee with proper cup, not paper cups. Paper cup is ok for to go. My cortado was ok and my friend's latte was also ok. Place is pretty mellow and good for meetings or to get some work done in peace.

The cashier was super friendly and provided great customer service. I was in town and searched for substitutions for Goldstein's that closed down last year. This was one of the suggestions. I ordered a plain bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese ($4.50), then realized they had viet coffee, which is my fav, so I ordered a regular sized one ($7). The bagel was soft and fresh, but a little on the drier side, and the cream cheese comes on the side which is nice to be able to put the amount I wanted myself. The viet coffee came in a 16 oz cup and was pretty much filled to the brim with ice, so there's very little coffee for the $7 price tag (I don't mind the price, just wished their was more drink instead of mostly ice). The flavor is really good at least. Overall this is a cute small business to support. Will def come back to try other items in the future.

This coffee shop is in a busy quite area in Arcadia with a small town charm. The service is pretty quick. The shop is not huge but they have at least 6-7 tables that I recall. Parking was easy to find on this Saturday. They have lots of drinks and baked goodies. I loved the Vietnamese ice coffee here. This is a locally owned coffee shop that has been here for years in downtown Arcadia. The inside is homey and unpretentious. Their coffee is really good. I have had their iced lattes, chaggachino, and today iced Vietnamese coffee. They make their Vietnamese coffee fresh on the spot, it's not pre-made. They also serve pastries made by Homeboy industries. I got a cranberry scone today and it was delicious. There is an outdoor patio in addition to inside seating. My only complaint is service could be better. I have been here 3x and the barista has never ever been friendly or smiley!

Can't explain it but this shop felt so welcoming and warm. I was greeted with a pleasant hello and I ordered a cold brew and carrot cake. Just the ambiance would make me come back but the cold brew was great and the carrot cake was so moist and fresh! I asked the lady and she had said they had been there for 24 years. Congrats!

$6.50 for a pumpkin spice latte was posted on their menu board, yet I was charged $6.75?

I was in the area to check out a fitness studio and Hyper Coffee was down the street. Figured this is perfect for a quick lunch. Plus their coffee/latte + food menu looked pretty promising. Small shop but there are a few indoor and outdoor seating. And there's a nice patio area in the back. Ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte w/almond milk plus an avocado toast. So I see it cost $6.50 for a pumpkin spice latte on their menu board, but yet I was charged $6.75? I know it's only a 25 cent difference, yes, it may not be much. But it's the principal and this looks like unethical behavior for running their business like this. Also, an additional $1.25 because I wanted almond milk?!? Talk about price gouging at its finest. Most coffee shops don't even charge that much for milk alternatives! Ridiculous. The avocado toast was the most basic thing I've ever seen when it comes to how avocado toasts are made. Just avocado sliced on top, some scrambled eggs and a few whole tomatoes. (See photo attached). Another disappointing item. It cost $10 for this...should've been like $6 instead. Definitely felt ripped off.

Came here a couple months ago. The chaga match was good with a unique flavor from the mushroom, but it's too sweet without any adjustments. They could adjust it, but they said it would affect the flavor a bit. I also tried the croissant breakfast sandwich with eggs and cheese. That was really good and the portion is bigger than I thought. The inside is not very big, but there are at least 4-5 tables available if I remember correctly. They also have an outside area to sit behind the cafe with umbrella coverage. The staff is super nice and the place felt clean. Good place to chat with friends.

I had ordered the chaggacino so the oatmilk and a shot of espresso. The entire experience was pretty straightforward. Just ordered my drink, received it and very minimal interaction. My drink was made well. Parking is curbside.

I visited on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. I really like the cozy atmosphere here--it's a nice spot for studying or hanging out with friends. There are multiple outlets and free Wi-Fi. Also seating indoor and outdoor. The service was friendly, and they offer a variety of delicious breakfast sandwiches and lunch options. I tried their Nuttin Honey iced coffee and the Lox bagel. The coffee was pretty good, however I thought the bagel was a little salty for my liking. I'll definitely be coming back!

The food was fresh, delicious and very fresh. The vinaigrette was light and didn't feel overpowering. The service courteous and prompt. Very professional. A warm ambiance and they even have an outdoor patio. I highly recommend you come support our local, privately owned small business.

I am not usually the biggest fan of bbq(a lot of bbq sauces aren't it for me)... but I LOVE Jake's, the secret is in the sauce!! It's sweet and tangy in the perfect way and ends up with a smoky flavor from when they cook it as well. I looooove the huge beef ribs here, and the chicken is pretty good too. I've also tried the baby back ribs, which my family loves but I'm more of a beef kinda gal. Haven't tried much else on the menu because I just love the beef ribs so much tbh. The fries and salad are good, some other sides kinda feel like an afterthought, but the sides aren't the highlight here. I like the "roadside" nostalgic vibe inside, and the staff are nice. Some of the staff have been there for a long time and know a lot of the customers. Overall, this is my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood, and when Monrovia comes up in conversation, I always mention Jake's :)

The waiter but out meal our BBQ combo meal to our table it looks scrumptious good. I cut a piece of the bbq chicken it was juicy, and tender and getting that smoke flavor in the chicken. And a bite of the Tri Tip it was tender and cover bbq sauce it good but it little bit too much of the bbq sauce but I enjoy it. The bbq pork ribs were very meaty they so good then bbq beef ribs they were meaty too with good flavor. Very fancy way of eating churros! The server Yasmine was super nice, she gave us some samples of the shrimp cocktail sauce to make sure it's not too spicy for me. And also some samples of their non alcoholic drinks because I was worried it would be too sweet. And she made a great suggestion which was the Jamaica drink! I've worked in brunch restaurants for years, so I genuinely appreciate the concept--but the service I experienced today just wasn't it. We came in during the lunch-to-dinner transition and waited about 15 minutes to be seated, which wasn't a big deal. The issue started with our server, Maria. From the beginning, she seemed impatient. When I ordered my drink and then turned to my friend to ask what he wanted, she looked like she was about to walk away, which rushed him into ordering before he was ready. Our drinks came out quickly, but she never brought the water I asked for. I didn't realize until after she walked away again when we had asked for another minute to look at the menu. When she came back to take our order, the same thing happened. I ordered, then my friend started to--but I paused to ask him if he wanted to split an appetizer. While he was answering me, Maria again seemed like she was ready to walk away, as if we weren't moving fast enough. I asked for water a second time. The restaurant wasn't busy--no one on the patio and maybe four tables inside--so it felt unnecessary to be rushed like that. Also, as someone with experience in the industry, it would've been nice if she had asked whether we wanted the appetizer to come out with the entrée. Serving food at completely different times for two people at the same table isn't great service. My friend got his food first, and my burger came about five minutes later. Still no water--so I asked the expo, and Maria finally brought it, but with noticeable attitude. ( My friend had made a comment to me "did you sleep with her boyfriend or something?") Based off of how noticable her attitude was towards me. A few minutes into eating, I realized my fries weren't the Parmesan fries I ordered--just plain fries. Not a huge deal, but I had been looking forward to them, so I asked to have it fixed. When I told the expo, she grabbed my plate and rolled her eyes as she walked away. By that point, it was around 4pm, and I had already been feeling sick all morning with stomach pain. I just wanted to enjoy a good meal and spend time with a friend, but after dealing with repeated attitude and poor service, I was ready to go home. Honestly, after 20 years in food service, this isn't the kind of experience I would ever want associated with a place I worked at. If you don't want to work there DONT! Plenty of other people in the city of Azusa they could hire.
