I used the Klatch Coffee website to place an order online the day before for a 6:45 AM pickup. I got 24 cinnamon twists @ $3.50 each. Yes, do the math LOL. For special instructions, I asked for each of them to be bagged in a pastry bag and then all of them to be boxed. I was over one hour late due to traffic unfortunately. I made sure I called to let them know that I was still on my way to pick up my order. I did already paid for it LOL. Upon entry, I was greeted right away. Ambiance was bright and welcoming. I walked up to the counter and gave the lady my name and she said my order has been ready. I know LOL. Each were double bagged entirely from front to back which I wasn't expecting. There were 2 big brown bags each with 12 cinnamon twists. I didn't eat a cinnamon twist until later in the day. When I did eat it, I was slightly disappointed... it was kind of soft. Don't get me wrong, it was still tasty. But I was expecting it to be flaky and crispy like all the previous times. I think they bagged them when they were not thoroughly cooled down... hence, still baking in the bags LOL. They needed to settle. Lesson learned. No more requesting them to be pre-bagged. This is a decent little coffee spot over in the 626 area. I came here to get a pick-me-up after a long morning/afternoon of walking around the Santa Anita mall. I came in with high expectations from doing light research on the internet. I walked in and was greeted wonderfully by the staff, and ordered quickly. The service and ambiance were good and all, but the coffee wasn't my favorite. I thought it was alright, but not the best I've had, and, according to reviews, could be better. It did the job, but again, I would have loved something more curated and carefully prepared/roasted/extracted. Hello, I'm a repeat customer and I absolutely love your Whipped Pumpkin Iced Coffee it's delicious when made correctly! However, my drink has been very inconsistent lately. This morning, once again, it was made without the Hollander pumpkin sauce. When I asked the barista about it, she told me the drink doesn't include pumpkin sauce and that the pumpkin flavor comes only from the whipped espresso. I could tell by looking and tasting that it wasn't made properly. This has happened multiple times, but I keep coming back because I really enjoy the drink when it's made right. Unfortunately, the experience has also been disappointing even when I order through the mobile app and wait by the pickup area, no one acknowledges me. A simple "good morning" or "I'll be right with you" would make a big difference, but instead, I'm often left standing there while staff wipe down counters and ignore customers. I saw on Yelp that they have Turkish coffee, but I was told that it was actually not available as it is a seasonal item. I've never had Turkish coffee before and was so curious about how it taste. The cashier said it'll be available in about a month. I settled for a hot vanilla bean latte. It was very creamy and good, but the espresso didn't taste that strong. Whenever I'm at Trader Joe's and need a quick treat or coffee fix, I like to come to Klatch. I've been to this location a couple of times and each time I was not disappointed by the quality and flavor of the beverages I've ordered. This time, my husband and I ordered an Iced Creme Brulee Latte and Blended Chippuccino. The Creme Brulee Latte was very sweet and creamy, perfect for my taste buds. The star of the day though was the Chippuccino. First time ordering a blended drink from Klatch and it was so good that I kept trying to sneak sips while my husband looked the other way. Service is friendly at this location and drinks are made efficiently. They also have coffee beans and pastries that you can purchase. There's a good amount of seating in this cafe which makes it good for enjoying a drink with a friend or even getting in some work for the day. I like that this shop has a large, shared parking lot with the other few businesses. I've never had to circle around and wait for parking. Only thing to improve on is probably store cleanliness. The store itself is clean but the table we sat at while waiting for our order was a little dirty probably from whoever sat there before us in the day. read more

I've been meaning to update this review for a long, long time, but I'm just not that active on Yelp so I apologize! Shortly after I posted my initial review things changed and now my fiancé and I get klatch probably 3-5 times a week via pickup through the app. We LOVE the coffee here. It is so much better than the other chains out there. Always tastes fresh, is never over-brewed. If they are out of something (like oat milk, etc) they always let us know quickly and give us options. I highly recommend the Cap on Tap, it's slightly sweet but not overwhelming. The vanilla latte is also delicious if you want something a bit sweeter (it's probably my favorite "treat" coffee) but it still isn't overwhelmingly sweet and you can taste the actual vanilla beans and not a cheap syrup. I haven't tried a lot of the food, but what I have is good. The muffins are great- I just wish they still sold bagels!! :( But all that aside I highly recommend Klatch. The parking can be tricky because of the Trader Joe's but it's not the worst. And the inside is very cute and open with a few spots to hang out or do work. read more

I love Klatch! I'd been getting their beans for a while before I visited, and found out they had a location in Pasadena. Btw their beans are more on the light to medium side, and I love them for their anaerobics and geishas. The first thing I got here was one of their geisha pourovers, which imo they're decently priced for a geisha ($12) and their other pourovers are around $5. They do pourovers really well here! They have a poursteady and dial in the beans perfectly. The notes they provide for each bean are pretty accurate too. The pastries and food are good too, I've tried the pistachio muffin, various danishes, and chocolate chip cookie and they were all delicious. The panini I ordered was really good too (note: I think their kitchen closes sooner than the rest of the shop). Milk coffee drinks here haven't impressed me though, they're fine but lacking in the flavor department. I might just not be a fan of the espressos they use for their milk drinks though. The milk texture and latte art is always good though! One great thing is how friendly the baristas are. I feel like a lot of them will make the effort to remember me and say hi, even when it's been a long time since I visited, which is really nice! Makes it feel like I have a small community here. I wish I could remember all their names but I do remember Alejandro who is a great barista! Ambiance is fine, it's usually playing pop music in the background and it's not too loud in the shop. Near sunset, the sun can start bearing down on you if you're sitting closer to the window. There are some outlets here if you're looking to study or work. Overall I love this Klatch. Great study spot with EXCELLENT service. Kudos to the staff! I'm still trying to find my go-to drink. I've tried the Mexican mocha and the chippuchino, but I don't think they're my thing. All of my friends have really really enjoyed the matcha latte, and that's probably going to be my favorite as well. Only complaint is the height of the chairs at the large table -- some are taller, some are shorter, they're all kind of at an awkward height to work on your laptop.
