Paris Baguette is one of my favorite bakeries of all time. The bakery chain offers a great mix of pastries, cakes, sandwiches, breads, packaged treats, and beverages. This particular location though, could use some work with consistency. The selection and quality of pastries and drinks seem to vary throughout my many visits. My top pastries are all of their croissant-like pastries, especially the Pastry Frank (filled with a savory sausage inside) and Mini Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissant (filled with a smooth and tangy lemon cream and fresh strawberries that add a tartness). Both of these have flaky, buttery exterior shells that are wonderful to bite into. For cakes, I love the strawberry soft cream cake. This cake is simple, light, and not too sweet. The thin layers of vanilla, soft cream, and strawberries blend excellently together. I appreciate that they provide free candles with whole cakes. An underrated cake is the green tea roll cake, which is delicious, but not ideal for celebrations. read more

Stopped in for a little weekend sweet treat and I'm so glad I did. The space is gorgeous. It's light, airy, and smells amazing the second you walk in. It just feels fresh and inviting in a way that makes you want to stay and enjoy it for a bit. The desserts are almost too pretty to pick from. Everything looks so good and a little indulgent. I tried to pace myself but still ended up with a twisted cinnamon donut, a slice of tiramisu cake, and a few extra treats to go. No regrets at all. Service was quick and everything came out exactly right, which made the whole visit feel easy and relaxed. I left very happy and already thinking about what I'm trying next time. I love Paris Baguette and since this is the closest Paris Baguette to me, I've checked out this spot plenty of times. Of all times, I've never really had any complaints about it except that sometimes when you visit in the afternoon, the selection of pastries are limited, which is of course normal as they come out fresh in the morning. Could be timing but other spots I've been to are a bit different than this one. Of all the breads I've tried, the smoked hot dog is my favorite and this spot provides the exact same taste as all the other PB cafes I've been to. High quality is what Paris Baguette is known for and this spot is no different. This spot is a bit bigger than the usual PB cafes and you'll often find people chilling around or doing work. Vibe here is pretty nice for those vibes as the lighting is not too bright. I've ordered a cake through the mobile app and picked it up here for a special occasion for my partner but unfortunately, they spelled her name wrong, which is why I'm docking a star. Otherwise, Paris Baguette has never disappointed me as their pastries, drinks, cakes, and just snacks in general are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend downloading their mobile app to get points as you purchase. They give free cake slice on your birthday which is a very nice gesture. My wife and I came in to redeem the offer from the SGV passport. It was for a 1 pastry and 1 drink of any size. :) Paris Baguette is located near Nem by Summer Rolls and Old Ferry Donuts. The parking lot is can be challenge due to limited spaces. The location itself is big. They have plenty of patio seating outside and a decent amount of seating inside. The location wasn't too crowded during our visit and fairly clean. The selections of cakes and pastries were plentiful. We ordered the Cinnamon Sugar Churro Latte & a Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate and grabbed a Chocolate Chip Strawberry Pastry. Also, milk alternatives are available such as oat and almond. The staff helping us was really nice and very hardworking! He even offered the hot cocoa on the house. So we gave a nice tip. As for the drinks and pastry, they were awesome. You can't go wrong with a Ghirardelli drink & and Churro latte had a great balance of sweetness. The pastry was flaky and crispy. I loved the pair of chocolate chip croissant with strawberries. I came in for some sweet fruit tarts for my dad and brother, and let me just say - they disappeared faster than my motivation on a Monday morning. I used to come here years ago to study, and the staff was so nice they handed me the WiFi password before I even asked. It was giving "We believe in your academic success, queen" energy. It's nice to see Paris Baguette so close to home. We ate here regularly when we lived in China. We came to the plaza for lunch and my wife wanted to treat our son to something sweet. As usual with a kid, they can go a bit overboard with the sweets. We brought home a lot of pastries, but we didn't eat them because my mother-in-law said they were "太甜了". Funny facts, it's a South Korean owned multinational chain established in 1986. I love Paris Bagutte! Always with delicious pastry and really good iced coffee. If I am on my cheat day, PB is my got to place. It was my first time on this location and it was impressive. It's located next to a luxury apartment bldg. Indoor seats were comfortable and its atmosphere was relaxing. I ordered a Cold Brew, Strawberry croissant, Coffee Cronut and Croissant Donut. All items were great in taste and texture. Redeemed our free drink and pastry option: We came on rainy Saturday afternoon before heading to the movies and thought why not grab a quick treat before our drive to Glendale! But this just tasted like basic coffee I can literally get anywhere else. Normal Korean Iced Milk Coffee is like a sweet milky taste. It just tasted like iced coffee with milk - that's it, not even sweet. The variety of pastries is still plenty although it's almost 7pm. I was hoping to find some plain rolls for my son but they ran out. Some of the labels aren hidden so I had to pull it up to see the price and decide if it's worth getting. I got ham and cheese, chocolate cream, and curry bread. The total price was around $12. I got a bag instead of a box, each bread was in its own bag. They also have an app for rewards! I've gotten a few cake pick-ups before and they have all been great. My family enjoys them. The cake is light and just the right amount of sweetness. I got the pistachio croissant and the exterior cream is delicious. There is a cream filling inside that's a bit too sweet and I prefer if it were emplaced lower on the croissant towards the bare end. I got pistachio latte and I didn't get any pistachio flavor at all. The latte was okay. Overall, it's a decent place. I still will go to try more pastries and other drinks. read more

I don't get the appeal of this place. Ive gone twice and regretted it more with each time. The buns are too dry with almost no filling, the prices are too high, the cakes are flavorless. Like literally zero flavor even with caramel and blueberry. How do you even do that?! And $6 for a tiny slice of flavorless cake is an insult. Even the pumpkin tart had no flavor! Did they even use real pumpkin? And lastly, the behavior of the young people who work there is sushi. They only seems to want to help the chinese customers. Both time I went they went over me and the other non Asians who came in like we didnt exist. Rather awkward to stop someone when they'd do that. (-): -There was someone who was looking for a cake recommendation and they didn't have the cake the person initially wanted. I could tell the employee was getting frustrated because of the language barrier. In a diverse area like LA and one where the customers are predominantly Chinese, I would expect more grace from the employee since the customer wasn't giving much attitude and was more soft spoken about her requests. -We left just before 4pm on a Saturday and they were already consolidating their sweets so the selection doesn't seem to be much. I've never heard of Paris Baguette until I saw it on Yelp. Apparently, this is a chain patisserie and there are several locations in LA & OC. I went to the San Gabriel location yesterday and today (I'm so hooked and sprung). This location was packed both days. Good luck finding parking bc the lot is very small. What I really like about the pastries here is that they're not super sweet (just right) and everything is fresh. There was one in particular that I really like, it had strawberries and cream inside a croissant. The cream was perfectly delightful and strawberries were really fresh. I used to go to 85 Degrees and Porto's for pastries like this (but have grown out of those places). Paris Baguette is definitely the new hype for me!! Love this bakery. Came in for Mother's Day and it was pretty empty. They had a full bakery and even cake slices were available. The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations. The location was clean the only issue I had is it's in a very busy shopping center where there is a lot of restaurants. The parking lot was full and had to park across the street.
