I love Paris Baguette's pastries so I was quite surprised when I saw they had a salad in their menu line up. It was PACKED to the brim, filled with tomatoes, grilled chicken, cucumbers, croutons, & the Boursin garlic cheese. The base was a spring mix and occasional lettuce pieces with a side of balsamic like vinaigrette. To my surprise it was extremely refreshing & delicious. My top pastries are all of their croissant-like pastries, especially the Pastry Frank (filled with a savory sausage inside) and Mini Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissant (filled with a smooth and tangy lemon cream and fresh strawberries that add a tartness). Both of these have flaky, buttery exterior shells that are wonderful to bite into. For cakes, I love the strawberry soft cream cake. This cake is simple, light, and not too sweet. The thin layers of vanilla, soft cream, and strawberries blend excellently together. I appreciate that they provide free candles with whole cakes. I love Paris Baguette and since this is the closest Paris Baguette to me, I've checked out this spot plenty of times. Of all times, I've never really had any complaints about it except that sometimes when you visit in the afternoon, the selection of pastries are limited, which is of course normal as they come out fresh in the morning. I love going to Paris baguette. This was my first time at this location. It's a pretty big location with lots of seating and they have an entryway to the cute shop next door. I arrived at 2pm and they had low bread inventory but I got enough pastries. I also ordered the iced cookie butter macchiato and it was delicious. It's nice to see Paris Baguette so close to home. We ate here regularly when we lived in China. We came to the plaza for lunch and my wife wanted to treat our son to something sweet. As usual with a kid, they can go a bit overboard with the sweets. We brought home a lot of pastries, but we didn't eat them because my mother-in-law said they were "太甜了". If I am on my cheat day, PB is my got to place. It was my first time on this location and it was impressive. It's located next to a luxury apartment bldg. Indoor seats were comfortable and its atmosphere was relaxing. I ordered a Cold Brew, Strawberry croissant, Coffee Cronut and Croissant Donut. All items were great in taste and texture. I had a sugar high after eating those pastries haha! Anyways, staff (Isabela) was nice and professional and prices were reasonable and match the quality. I bought a fruit tart, and whoever packed it used a box that was ridiculously small. By the time I got home and opened it, the tart was completely destroyed, smashed into the sides of the box, and looked more like garbage than a dessert. I honestly couldn't believe this was handed to a paying customer. It feels like nobody bothered to check whether the tart even fit before closing the box. Basic common sense should tell you that a delicate fruit tart needs proper packaging. I love how this place is connected to the kpop store next door, the seating area is spacious and I saw some people just chilling with their laptop and books. The variety of pastries is still plenty although it's almost 7pm. I was hoping to find some plain rolls for my son but they ran out. I got the pistachio croissant and the exterior cream is delicious. There is a cream filling inside that's a bit too sweet and I prefer if it were emplaced lower on the croissant towards the bare end. Did they even use real pumpkin? And lastly, the behavior of the young people who work there is sushi. They only seems to want to help the chinese customers. Both time I went they went over me and the other non Asians who came in like we didnt exist. Rather awkward to stop someone when they'd do that.
