This is a new asian bakery in the plaza with pho next door and haircut and water refill shops. Parking is terrible, ifkyk. They took over the donut shop, so inside still kinda look like it with the coffee machine and lotto. They have nice bread display though. The bread are yummy. If I'm nearby I'll definitely buy more. They have unique flavors like sticky rice bun (literally inside taste like the sticky rice chinese dessert, so far my favorite!) and I also got brown sugar boba bread. The lady is nice. KK is a cute bakery that's unfortunately pretty easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Items are self-serve, with the exception of a few refrigerated desserts and drinks, and you pay at the counter. There are a few stools inside, but otherwise no interior/exterior seating - it's more of a grab & go type establishment anyway. No restroom. Limited parking is available in the small shared lot, or you can try to find street parking (no issues with space in the morning). Mild noise level. They offer a good variety of both sweet and savory breads, cookies, and pastries, as well as meat buns, premade and custom cakes, and a few drinks. Everything I've tried so far has been flavorful, moist, and tasty. I will definitely be back to try the cake slices. Prices are fair. This is one of my favorite places, especially when I'm buying bulk amounts to feed friends. 10/10 recommend. read more

I saw this bakery on Too Good to Go and was excited to try out a new place. I am so glad I did! It's located in a small plaza with parking. Service was fast and it's a order and go type of place. I was given a variety of pastries to try and enjoyed how soft and tasty the pastries were! It's not overly sweet which is the way I like it. They also sell drinks and cakes. This is a new bakery located in a plaza in San Gabriel next to Pho Ga District. It is a family owned bakery that has fresh bread, homemade cookies and pastries. They make very beautiful cakes. I ordered a full sheet cake for my senior residents at work to celebrate their birthdays. Cake was decorated very pretty and cake was very delicious and fresh. Sponge cake was not overly sweet and it was perfect. The filling I opted for fresh fruit. I ordered for strawberry and owner added grapes. It was the first time trying it like that and it was different. I loved it! All the residents enjoyed the cake also and asked where i got it! EDIT: The owner reached out to me that they had forgotten to add the flavoring to my cake and offered to refund the extra charge for the flavoring. I appreciate the kindness and honesty! Pretty typical Asian bakery. I ordered a cake for my birthday and while the design wasn't perfect, it was still good. Not too sweet and suited for an Asian palette. I don't remember if the flavoring for the cake was extra or not, but I got jasmine tea flavor and I have to say that we did not taste any jasmine tea flavor at all in the cake so we were disappointed by that. read more

My boyfriend and I came here around 6:50ish it was so close to their closing time but they were welcoming and opened the door for us. We got a variety of breads and baked good and my boyfriend was excited with all the varieties they have. We got a discount for what we purchased and another 10% off for our next purchase! The cashier was nice and we didn't feel rushed as we were picking out our baked goods ! Brand new bakery in plaza on San Gabriel blvd. Family owned bakery that has authentic Chinese pastries, cake, bread, drinks and coffee. They even have unique options like tres leches and taro layered pudding. The honey toast is amazing fresh out of the oven with a crisp outer texture paired with a fluffy cloud like center. I saw so many people also coming to buy lotto tickets and coffees. They have a seated counter area that you can relax and enjoy your sweets. They remodeled the site so it's more modern and clean than when it was a donut shop. They are doing a soft opening now according to the owners who were super nice. read more
