I got peach guava and it was refreshing and light, not overly sweet like a lot of birthday cakes tend to be. I also loved the utensils that came with it and the whole unboxing experience. It felt like a lot of thought went into the packaging, not just the cake itself. Only issue is the price is kind of pricey, but it also makes sense given the quality. Not sure if its just me, but the sizing seemed like it could feed more than the selected count, especially if youre a small eater. We got the Berry Summer cake for 5-6 people for $138 and it was worth every bite. The cream is so light, the jam was delicious, and the cake was beautiful. Loved the forks, cake knife, and candles that came with the cake. Pickup was super convenient and flexible and ordering was easy (ordered 2 days prior). Highly recommend! There is a hot case which you can see what is being cooled down. The smell is always amazing. The bread loaves are great. The cakes are good, not overly sweet too. If you're lucky, they might have bags of cake scraps for sale. Try the egg tarts too, both versions are delicious, but the Macau is better. The people are always helpful and nice. Service is always good. Definitely come check it out.

The top is crispy while the rest of the bun is soft. Sesame bun was soft and filled with good amount of sesame inside. Egg tart was also good. Although the crust could be flakier, the egg custard part was very good. I haven't tried everything in the store but what I have tried recently, I liked it a lot. I will be back to try other items. (FYI - they are going to open a Goomo tea shop on the corner in the same space!) D'ange has so many fun flavors of buns. I really liked the taro with mochi one. The only thing about the buns is that the fillings tend to be only on one side of the bun, so there are been times as I'm biting into the bun, I'm not getting any filling until the last couple bites. They even sell cookies and all different flavors of toast that would make some yummy brick toast desserts! And if you need a whole cake, they have them in the case ready to go too! The buns I got were great, as were the Portuguese egg tarts. They even sold Chinese tamales at my last visit, so I picked one up too. I don't know many places that sell these, and I used to eat them all the time when my grandma made them years ago, but now that no one in my family knows how to make them, it's a special treat if I can find it. They have ones with meat (with or without peanuts), and some with just the mung bean. They must be really know for this because 2 other parties ahead of me were buying tons of the tamales!

TGTG is an app that allows businesses to sell their leftover or flawed goods for a discounted price in a bundle of their choice. So you don't know what you get, BUT it reduces food waste (#sustainability) while being easier on your wallet. You pay a price they name and they give you the value they listed. The owner (I presume) handed us a prepackaged brown bag the moment we got there. It wasn't busy at all so the whole transaction was under 5 minutes. It's a mom & pop Asian bakery that's spacious and warm. Our surprise bag contained 7 mini breads: black sesame mochi, red sesame mochi, taro bun with filling, hot dog cheese bread, buo luo bao, ham + cheese bun, and another bread I couldn't quite identify. This is $21 value for $6.99 is what we paid. After heating them up, they tasted almost like fresh so we can't complain. However, I would say these days $3 would get you bigger buns at other similar bakeries, but their fillings were very generous, so it's hard to say. Parking has spots designated to the bakery so look out for the signs.
