My wife and I decided to have breakfast here this morning. She said she had been plenty of times and had really enjoyed herself, so I thought let's give it a shot. Pleasantly surprised to see a Monte Cristo on the menu. I ordered it with crispy scallop potatoes. The meats were stacked high. The croissant dipped in French toast batter was delicious. I also ordered a vanilla mocha coffee. That too was delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience with great service. If the opportunity arises, I would visit again. Thanks to all the staff.
This is a small place, very close to the center of downtown Monrovia. It has a parking lot parking, as well as, street parking. We went on a weekday for a birthday get together. We were a small group. You might have to call ahead if you needed more than six people to sit at one time. There's a nice variety of food options on a very small menu. The food was perfectly prepared and came out quickly! We had no complaints, and everything was yummy! I definitely come here again!
I was recommended this spot by some friends. I came by after a hike in sierra madre. There is a lot next to the cafe & street parking as well. There is indoor & outdoor seating which is nice. There are breakfast& lunch options. SCALLOPED POTATOES! I was astonished to see them on the menu as a brekky side & of course I ordered them with eggs & chorizo. The plate was a 8/10. Hot vanilla latte was a 10/10 , nice & foamy. Restrooms were clean. Staff were friendly & open to questions. Overall , a nice spot to catch up with friends or family. Also, it's by downtown Monrovia so you can take a stroll after your lunch.
This was a cute little spot in downtown Monrovia. The café had a cozy atmosphere and there were quite a few people inside, which is always a good sign. Parking was easy since there were a good amount of spots right outside. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. I ordered a chai tea latte and a turkey avocado sandwich on a croissant with fries. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful, and the croissant was soft and buttery. My chai latte was really good too. Overall, I really liked this spot. It felt like a relaxed place to grab a good sandwich and drink. I would definitely come back.
Been coming here for years & love that it's always been the same! Service is always great, super friendly staff every time. Our favorites are the huevos rancheros w/chorizo & the Monte cristo! You can never go wrong with those options, both are delicious! Not pictured is the guava and watermelon mimosas we got as well. They have a variety of different flavored mimosas! They have both inside & outside seating areas. A big plus is they are dog friendly! The one thing I will say is I wish they had music playing or something outside, that would make it even better.
Had a great experience at Peach Café in Monrovia! The atmosphere was really nice, and eating outside was especially enjoyable with the beautiful weather. The outdoor seating made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable and added to the overall charm of the café. The food was yummy, delicious, and very fresh. The omelet was fluffy and perfectly cooked, filled with fresh ingredients that made it really flavorful and satisfying. The tuna sandwich was excellent, light, fresh, and well-seasoned, served on great bread that complemented the tuna nicely. The salad was crisp and refreshing with fresh greens and a well-balanced dressing that tied everything together. Overall, it was a great spot to enjoy a relaxing meal with quality food and a pleasant atmosphere. I'd definitely come back again and highly recommend it if you're in the area!
Been coming here for a few times and the food doesn't disappoint. If you want a tasty casual brunch spot, this is the place. Coming in around the afternoon, we were able to get a table. We had a friendly waitress that was on point with our bottomless mimosas that she quickly refilled our drinks. I had the build your own eggs/omelette combo where you can choose your side and bread. I opted for the mushroom, spinach and Swiss cheese with a side of Breakfast Potatoes. Yummy omelette that is nicely fluffed but nothing too special. Good portion of spinach and mushrooms and the breakfast potatoes are nice and crispy. The sourdough bread I choose is good and not stale. 8/10 My bf got the House Chorizo and Eggs Combo. The chorizo with the pepper jack cheese is really good with his choice of tortilla bread. The scallloped potato (choice of breakfast side ) isn't crispy so it was a bit of a depressing. Altogether, it's not too bad of a breakfast dish. 7/10 Do come a little early on a weekend for brunch as it can be hard to get a seat. There's nearby parking so it's not that hard to find parking.
Peach Cafe is still going strong as one of our go-to brunch spots in Old Town! I love their lattes and most breakfast items - I've also tried several of their salads since my last review and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. Their salads are chopped nicely with great flavors and perfect amounts of dressing already mixed in - they come with a choice of bread and I always love to get their cornbread. On my last visit I sampled some of the hubby's chicken pesto salad - very skeptically bc I have never been a fan of pesto - but it was fantastic and is what I'll be ordering next time we stop by! I also tried their Peach Omelet with ham, peppers, and so much pepper jack cheese to produce a fantastic melty cheese pull - it was delicious! As my side I did try and give their scalloped potatoes another try and my verdict on those is still the same unfortunately - they have a nice texture but are so bland that I had to add a bunch of salt and pepper so I likely won't get these again until it's been long enough for the amnesia to set in and I think of giving them yet another chance lol. They still offer their popular mimosa flights with lots of unique flavors like guava and mango. But their coffee is some of my fave in the area - all of their lattes have been great and I especially love their con panna! Vibes are cozy. Staff are always lovely and so warm and welcoming. Prices are decent for the area and portions are generous. Lines get long on the weekends and it's usually pretty busy even on weekdays so plan ahead.

The restaurant itself isn't super large, but there is both outside and inside seating- which makes a perfect opportunity for enjoying the sunshine during a nice breakfast/brunch. Arriving around 9:15am on a holiday, we waited approximately 10-15 minutes for a table of three (after originally being told 30 minutes- always under promise and over deliver- so nice win!). I did enjoy the options on their coffee menu- specifically the red eye with the mixed coffee and espresso made the perfect balance of caffeine. The menu itself isn't anything too spectacular - in fact I wish there were a couple of more "specialty" options that were unique or offered a spin on classic breakfast options. The food was great, especially the seasoned potatoes- but I did feel like overall it was missing an extra pizazz. I'd definitely visit again- but would love to see a twist in the menu to compete on the brunch roster.
People come here early and they're serious about being here first. Food is flavorful and creative. They know what they're doing in terms of running a great restaurant. Service is attentive and kind. Decor is cozy and seating seems a bit intimate. I've left my umbrella behind and they were kind enough to hold onto it till I was able to get it. Thanks to Jennifer and her staff!

Parking can be found along Colorado Blvd. or in nearby public parking lots. Ambiance/Decor: Chill vibes with modern furnishingss Service: Service has been consistent. Staffers that I've encountered were attentive, friendly, and engaging. Food Of Choice: I usually get either the huevos rancheros or chillaquiles. Quite delicious and quite delightful to eat. Ask for some salsa and/or some tabasco sauce to level up your eating experience. Peach For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back to get my chilaquiles/huevos rancheros fix.
I'm not too familiar with this area, but I wouldn't hesitate coming back here to The Peach Cafe. The staff is very friendly! The setting is very peaceful. There was a crowd on the day we went but it wasn't too crowded to where it interfered with our conversation. Annie D was courteous, friendly and prompt with our order and our drinks. And the food, Grilled Chicken Club, was tasty. The onion rings were very tasty, not bland like a lot of restaurants. This is definitely a place I look forward to coming back to.
A solid place to get food in Old Town Monrovia. I got the Life Rice, which was a bit bland but improved with the salsa they gave on the side. No wait on a Friday at 1:30 pm. Service was amazing and they gave us some free Halloween candy! Free parking in the adjacent lots and all around the side streets, some with 3 hr vs 8 hr time limits.

I went to enjoy a Sunday Brunch and was not disappointed. I had the Brisket Melt with fruit and unlimited mimosas. We met the manager Morgan who was happy to meet, greet, and ensure customer satisfaction. A must to check out in the beautiful city of Monrovia. read more

We stopped by The Peach Cafe in Old Town Monrovia for Saturday brunch with a group of five, and it hit every mark. Even though the place was buzzing with energy and clearly a local favorite, the team handled the weekend crowd seamlessly. The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and fast, making the entire experience feel smooth from start to finish. Since there were five of us, we ordered a variety of dishes to share family-style, which turned out to be the best decision. The absolute star of the table was the pancakes--they are truly outstanding! They nailed both the texture and the flavor: golden on the outside, insanely fluffy on the inside, and rich without feeling overly heavy. The waffles were equally delicious, holding a fantastic crisp on the edges while remaining light in the center. To top it all off, the drink selection was top-tier. Whether you get their specialty coffees or refreshing iced beverages, or even hot tea. Every drink was crafted with care and tasted wonderful alongside the sweet and savory brunch items. It's rare to find a busy weekend brunch spot where both the food and the service shine this brightly. We will definitely be back! read more
Bottomless mimosa: This is dangerous but so worth if really want to feel a little tipsy in the morning. They are generous with their alcohol to juice ratio. Don't underestimate the size of the cup because it does hit you after 2 cups. I would say it was worth to get brunch here because of this option. Farm Fresh scramble: It's a small size dish topped with fresh avocado. Basically a omelet with mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. Comes with a side, so we chose waffle. Great balancing meal if you want something on the lighter end. Monte Cristo: This was a big dish was huge or the other dish was small and it comes with a side. We ordered a side of crispy scalloped potatoes, soft and gooey. I would recommend ordering the potato scallops to try something new. Ham, Swiss and egg was warm. The sandwich was cut into two halves so really shareable plate. read more

Food was fresh hot and amazing. We had a breakfast sandwich with ham and bacon that was outstanding! The scalloped hash browns were so delicious! The service was on point and the whole establishment was so welcoming! Our server was very attentive and a true professional. Plenty of seating in side and out which we liked and you four legged fur babies are welcome which we liked even though we don't have one. We can't wait to go back! Don't forget to try their amazing coffee drinks, we had a blended mocha and caramel latte that were amazing! Great Job Peach Cafe! You are a top notch establishment! read more
Peach is my favorite spot in Monrovia. Though their Breakfast is what they are known for... however, my go to is the PC Burger. Hands down best burger in town. Their Bacon is also delicious and worth a shot out. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Vibe is modern cafe. This is the brunch spot you didn't know you needed. From Espresso to mimosas, they got you covered. Make sure to stop in if you're in the area. read more

Best corned beef hash I've had in a long time. It was seasoned well and portioned just right. The eggs were cooked perfectly & the sourdough was a heart slice. Everything was delicious & comforting as if it was made at home. Especially the hot chocolate which is my favorite. I can't wait to stop by again. The wait time is long because the place is small but is well worth it. Parking is easy so chilling in the car while you wait isn't a major deal. read more

Went up to try the Corned Beef Hash & eggs, and I was not disappointed! . Three eggs cooked to perfection along with REAL, yes REAL corned beef and mixed with potatoes! And, Choose the special Corn Bread - homemade! So delicious! I even added a Latte, served quickly, served hot and tasty! And, My server Rhonda was great, both days! Yeah, It was so good I returned with a friend the very next day to have the Belgian waffles & coffee! Yes, another winner breakfast for lunch! This is truly a special cafe for breakfast & lunch; great Ambiance too! Lucky Monrovia! Gets pretty busy so go early! read more

Seems like a very popular breakfast place. We arrived around 9:30 AM and waited about 20 minutes for a party of 3. Parking was easy to find. I encourage you to show up early to minimize your wait time. We ordered the following items: Red-eye coffee 10/10, the Americano 9/10, and bottomless mimosas. The Huevos Rancheros 7/10, chorizo with scrambled eggs, fruit & cornbread 7/10, and the egg omelet 8/10. Overall, the food was okay--definitely needs some more flavor. I did, however, love the red-eye coffee. I had two cups! The bottomless mimosas kept coming. Our waitress was Katrina--she was lovely and attentive. read more
My friends and I came here for a brunch and expected to have a great time, but we all didn't have the most pleasant experience here. We first put out name and waited about 15-20 minutes. We then were seated and our server Dana was not very happy and pleasant sadly. We just sat down and were rushed twice to order. We asked for more time and she walked away sadly in a very rude manner. I was very disappointed along with my friends because she wasn't happy serving us at all. We each got our food and food wise is pretty okay. I think the burrito though lacks flavor, nothing very special in it to make me want to eat it again. When it was time to get the bill she didn't even place the bill nicely, she threw it along with my credit card. Sadly won't be returning here, I definitely am surprised with how many people come here when their service is not good. read more

Had an amazing experience at The Peach Cafe! The food was absolutely delicious and everything came out fresh and flavorful. Typically I like to try many places to eat but I keep returning to Peach Cafe. The service has always been good. The staff are friendly. It's a great place for small groups or in pairs. The noise level is always mild so you can actually have a conversation. There's indoor and outdoor seating (which allows dogs!). The food has been mostly delicious! Only rarely has a dish been okay, but those were the weekend specials that rotate weekly. I figured those were experimental dishes and I was feeling adventurous. But the main menu dishes are solid. I ordered the Nuts and Bolts this time. For a second I thought it would be too much food but I ended up finishing it all. The sourdough bread was the right level of crunchiness and no overly harden crust. The bacon isn't overly salty. I don't know what they do with their eggs here but I had Sunnyside up eggs elsewhere recently and it wasn't as good as Peach Cafe. Overall Peach Cafe is great. Definitely recommend! read more

The staff were really friendly and food came out decently quick. I got the quesadilla to share with my daughter; first couple bites were really good but it got overwhelming. The chorizo + eggs were kind of dry, but the side chocolate chip pancakes were really good. The brisket sandwich was also really good. Overall, food was okay, not bad.. read more

Came during lunch hour and the food was great. However, the service was less than adequate. First, the server came to our table and asked, "are you ready to eat?" No drink order, appetizer, etc. Second, near the end of dining, he asked if we needed anything else. We said, no. So no more follow up, no anything before you get the bill? Suddenly, another server, just drops the check and walks away. I called her back to order a drink. Be advised, this is primarily, a breakfast place, so I guess that they wanted to high tail it out of there. read more

Not sure why I don't come here more often! I've been to Peach cafe once a long time ago but always remembered it was good. The first time I came here i tried the breakfast burrito and it was good. This time around I ordered the huevos rancheros and it pleasantly surprised me. The portion was pretty big and satisfying. I don't get this dish often to know how it compares to others but the tostada was crunchy still and the beans were cooked well and they put a generous amount of avocado for topping. I asked for over easy eggs. We also ordered the monte cristo sandwich which had a croissant bread with some powdered sugar on top + jam on the side. The jam oddly goes well with the sandwich but I think the powder sugar was a bit overkill. I do like the sweet and savory combo. It also came with scalloped potatoes which were delicious. We tried the french toast and it was great. Syrup is on the side. I did wish they gave more strawberries. I did like how you have the option to get the full or half serving. The wait was about 30 minutes so we walked around the block but after we came back I heard other customer wait times were 2 hours. It's a small cafe so it can be a bit slower. The server was nice but didn't really fill our waters. Not a super big issue for me but I can tell they want you in and out if they're busy. Overall, the food was good so I'd still recommend trying it if you're local. Their daily specials sounded good so I hope i can try something new next time! read more
Pics of food looked amazing so decided to try this spot on my Friday bike to lunch rides. Let me tell you the flavor is just as amazing as the pics. Since I ordered for pick up I can't speak for the service other than to say that from what I witnessed, the crew moves with a sense of urgency and constantly checks on their customers. Ambiance seems chill. The times we've tried to stop for breakfast has been busy but now that I've sampled the food I can see why. The packaging is the usual packaging but since I'm on a motorcycle asked a favor of having them wrap my food in foil. They complied which shows they care about customer satisfaction. Even while I waited I had others check on me to ensure I was being attended. If you haven't tried ye, you oughta. That said, when cafe de olla is overcrowded come here instead. OR skip the line and make this your first stop! Just saying. read more

Im a monrovia native who lives out of state, visiting a w old friend. They greeted us when we werent ready to order and then never checked on us for TWO HOURS. Then kicked us out for not ordering food due to a "wait time" as if we werent waiting for our sever for two hours. We were in no hurry but as a customer i shouldn't have to wave you down. This was my favorite spot to visit while visiting my home town and now I will never return and will tell everyone of this terribleservice. Do better dannah. read more

Do they have harsh brown?
Would this be a nice place for a group of elderly women ages 60-80?
A ladies brunch!! I think so! The place is small inside so I would maybe call ahead to make sure they have the table for your party.
Would you have space to accommodate a party of 15? (Not asking for a reservation, just if there's space)

What are the vegan options?
The got vegan options like their waffles. However it's very limited.
Is the line long during week days?
Depending on the time in the morning, we've experienced a hour long wait. However, you can go through Yelp and make a reservation. For the record, their sour dough bread is amazing!
What time is breakfast served until? Or is it served all day?
I believe they have an all day breakfast menu!
Do they still have bottomless mimosas?
You know, I wanted to order this but it was not on their set menu :( ask the waiter when you go next time....maybe he/she will put a special order for you

They do not take reservations. I just called and was told that it is first come first serve

Not with the COVID going on. But they have outdoor tables set up!

They are open for takeout. They always closed at 2 pm and I think it's the same now.
Why is the bottomless mimosas not listed on the menu or website? What time does it start? Is there a time limit? Any flavors of juices beside orange?
The adult beverages are on the website under the lunch menu. They serve bottomless mimosas everyday until they close up at 3 pm...no time limit. You can do a tasting flight for an additional cost and pick four different flavors. I prefer the peach…
Does peach take reservations?
You can call ahead an be put on their wait list, but it's not really a reservation since they mix you in once you arrive. It's still better than coming in cold.
How much are bottomless mimosas?
$13 (glasses are small so hopefully you get a server that's on it when it comes to refills)
