Love coming here to eat with coworkers. They have the best friendly service and great tasting food. I often come here to grab a quick bite to eat before heading back into the office. The owner Genie is nice and always comes by and greet us regulars. I like how this place has good American breakfast and lunch foods as well as some fusion Korean foods. Mu all time favorite is their lox scramble with a side of banana nut muffin and their Turkey avocado croissant sandwhich. Everything is made fresh here and you don't have to wait long to enjoy your food. Cozy indoor ambiance as well with back open area dining.

After a 4-mile hike with my Fit Body friends, one of them suggested we stop by Nano Café for breakfast and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. They even brought us a warm cinnamon roll to share at the table, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. For my meal, I ordered the poached salmon eggs Benedict with hash browns, and it was outstanding. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the salmon was fresh and flavorful, and the hollandaise sauce tied everything together beautifully. The hash browns were golden and crispy, just the way I like them. To top it off, I had a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice that was refreshing and tasted like it came straight from the orchard. The service was excellent friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. The ambiance is cozy and laid-back, with charming decorations that make it a comfortable spot to relax after a hike or just to enjoy a weekend breakfast. Even the bathroom was spotless, which I always appreciate when dining out. Overall, Nano Café is the perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. Between the warm hospitality, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere, it's definitely a place I'd recommend and plan to return to. Plus, it's an ideal stop after a workout or hike with friends great food, great vibe, and the perfect way to refuel together.

Great delicious homestyle food in a warm atmosphere. Nothing fancy, just comfortable. Menu has a wide variety of offerings. Portions are generous and the service is beyond compare. The workers are so nice and take the best care of you. The only warning I would give is don't sit on the patio if you are sensitive to sound because there is quite a bit of street noise there. Inside you don't hear the noise. We definitely look forward to returning here for many meals.

This is a cozy place that's great for a chill get together with friends and family. There's a small lot for parking but also street parking possible. The service is fairly quick and staff are nice. I got the pancake combo with bacon. It was pretty good! Your standard breakfast. The pancakes aren't too overly filling. The bacon was crunchy and savory enough. Definitely worth a visit.

Great staff of servers! Bravo on customer service, very prompt, welcoming and genuinely friendly. We sat in the patio area, it's covered and cozy. Ordered the waffle combo and freshest combo, you really get what you pay for, nice proportions and food came out fairly fast. No line or wait time at about 9:45am. This is a nice spot for a casual breakfast which is served all day. Really hope to be back soon. Nano cafe you stole my heart

We were staying at a hotel in the Monrovia/Pasadena area and asked the staff where we could a good breakfast (we missed the hotel breakfast by a few minutes). Nano Cafe was recommended above all the other local diners. The restaurant is small but has a comfortable, cute, screened patio with a lovely mural, and the April weather was perfect, so we sat outside. Walking through, we could see that the place was packed with a diverse crowd. The menu is extensive, and they have specials. I started with Korean iced coffee. My sis ordered the crepes with Nutella, banana, strawberries and cream, and I ordered the eggs Benedict, and we split both dishes. The Bennies were good, but the crepes were outstanding! They were dense, with just the right amount and combo of toppings. Sis (who is a chef) said "this is the perfect crepe." She said the thickness was perfect. Surprisingly, the crepes seemed substantial enough to get us through an afternoon of activity. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures once the food was here. Our server was friendly and helpful. She kept our drinks refilled and asked us how we liked the food. We really liked Nano Cafe and will be sure to thank the local who referred us.

Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and can honestly say the staff is some of the nicest that I have ever encountered but they forgot our order for a table of two after we placed it so after waiting 50 minutes, our breakfast finally came out. Inside is quite small, but they do have indoor seating as well as covered outdoor seating which is where we sat. There is another location up in Sierra Madre this location being the second. There is a small free parking lot attached so we were able to find a parking spot right out front. Otherwise, it will be free street neighborhood parking. As mentioned, the staff was extremely polite and very apologetic once they realized they forgot our order, and they even comped our drinks, which I think really made up for it. We weren't in a time rush, but otherwise waiting for 50 minutes for a couple of breakfast orders was a bit extreme. We ordered an omelette which was very large and tasty and a Bacon Benedict, which I really enjoyed. The eggs were done perfectly and it had some great flavors. We also tried a Cinnamon Roll and it was honestly great. The only issue that we had was the very long wait time for food. Otherwise it was a very nice experience. I would give this place another try in the future and would suggest if you are in the Monrovia or Sierra Madre area.

Extensive menu with loyal community customer base. Great service and comfort food with a K-town flair. Love the cute outside patio, went when it was raining and it was a great atmosphere with heaters, fully built wood ceiling, screened is windows for fresh air and great mural. Highly recommend if you are in the area and want a classic breakfast or dish with K flavor.

A great spot to check out for brunch! The staff were so kind, the food was so good, and the whole cafe scene felt like we were at home. The staff really made the experience, they were so sweet and helpful. We'll be coming back

This is the cutest little quaint restaurant/diner in Monrovia. We come here often just because the food is delicious, the service is AMAZING! Ask for Barbara or Anneli! Best service by these two fabulous women. Great place for breakfast and the amazing sandwiches they offer for lunch are always delicious. Give it a try if you're in the area and looking for something amazing.

Great service and friendly staff. Food was delicious and plated quite eye appealing. Good size portions. Great place for a relaxing meal and comfort food.

I always order the off the menu item: Seared salmon with glass noodles. This dish is very delicious and will give you a good food coma afterwards. The staff service is excellent and knows my order without having to ask for it.

We got Dr. Peppers and ordered the BLT and beef melt sandwiches with French fries. When things are done in a simple manner, there leaves room for critique, but it was so well done. My beef melt was simple and tasty, and the bread was perfectly crispy on the edges. It was the right amount of texture and meat without leaving you overstuffed. My mom enjoyed her BLT and mentioned that the bacon was cooked perfectly. We definitely want to come back for the simple comfort food that is here. Our waitress was super friendly and let us know what the specials were for the day as well as gave us time and checked in on us. I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the mood for a no fuss, simplistic dining experience.

My wife, mother-in-law, and I went to Moffett's for the "Family Meal" deal; we sat down, I quickly ordered a coke, and we place our order for the "Family Meal" deal. I was then told by our waitress that the "family meal" is for take-out orders only and not for indoor dining... Not good - the sign does not mention anything about take-out only, or take-out period, just "Family Meal." So, seriously disappointed, I paid for my coke, $6.57... yes, $6.57 for a single Coke and that was it... we proceeded to leave, but not until I mentioned the inconvenience the sign caused for a lack of clear and or detailed (explicit) information. BTW - the same sign that is posted inside is the same as posted outside on the window -- both do not indicate that the "Family Meal" is for take-out only. After pointing out the inconvenience to the supervisor about our travelling to Moffett's for the "Family Meal" and not being able to dine in, he called the owner. Apparently, the owner said we could eat-in, but we'd have to eat out of takeout boxes... not happy with that either and not happy for the lack of real courtesy and understanding, we decided simply to leave and go eat somewhere else. Unfortunately for Moffett's, that turned out to be a lost sale for their business and a loss of a tip to the waitress. OK, I used to like Moffett's a lot, going back some 20 years; however, over the last few years, since Covid, I've only been back just a few times. I think with pricings, Moffett's best days are now part of the past., as with many once great places in the SGV that are now long gone. Lack of customers and high prices, not a good sign and hard to recover from... it's not going to help bring in customers. I honestly like Moffett's and would hope they find a way to make it; make it more affordable, including offering dine-in 'Family Meal' deals, and do a better job at offering genuine hospitality and being thankful when customers arrive; being more accommodating, considerate, grateful, and excited to have diners who want to dine in... it is not too late change the policy. And BTW -- $6.57 for a small Coke at Moffett's is outrageous - the same Coke we ended up getting later were $3.50 each... however, I paid the $6.57 for the Coke, and at the very least, that was all Moffett's got from this disappointed customer... also, it is prices like this that are driving customers away. Anyway, I truly wanted to enjoy my time with my family at Moffett's but because of a missed opportunity to enjoy a family meal together at Moffett's, it didn't happen. Maybe I'll be back again some other day; hopefully then the experience will be far better... let's hope so.

This last visit was frustrating enough that we won't be rushing back. We came in just before 6:00 PM with a babysitter and a limited window. The restaurant wasn't busy, maybe five tables, but service was completely off. Our entrée took about 45 minutes. It was comped, but no one acknowledged the delay. No apology, no explanation, nothing. We also got the wrong side (fries instead of onion rings), and while it was corrected quickly, it added to the overall feeling that no one was really paying attention. The bigger issue was how absent the service felt. Our server never came back for a second round of drinks, and I had to go to the bar myself. When I mentioned it, the response was basically that the server was busy with another table, which felt dismissive given how long we had already been waiting. No one was busy. By the time food arrived, it was around 6:45 PM. The problem wasn't just the wait, it was the lack of communication or basic hospitality the entire time. I actually emailed the restaurant directly after our visit and never heard back, which is disappointing and honestly says a lot. At this point, it's hard not to feel like they just don't really care about the customer experience or about keeping people coming back. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but right now it doesn't feel like it's being taken seriously.

We were not a fan of the bell pepper that was on the skewer that bled into the shrimp itself. The flavor was a bit intrusive considering shrimp already has a light flavor. Finally the scallops were a pass. Just grilled, nothing amazing. 7/10 overall Shrimp Scampi Linguine - Not sure what the hype was about, but this was the most forgetful dish I had here. The linguini was a bit soft/overcooked, the fettuccini sauce was thick and not too cheesy, but more creamy, if that makes sense, and the shrimp was just shrimp (possibly the grilled shrimp) and was just drowned in the fettuccini sauce and lost any natural flavors it would've had. 3/10 Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream: Out of the disappointing Shrimp Scampi Linguini, the Lava cake made up for it. We do not usually get dessert, but we were sure glad we got this. Similar to the pazooki from BJ's, but a hot choco cake instead. I can do without the whipped cream though, since I don't like it too much. 8/10 Overall, this place is a small, quaint place for seafood. The appeal is the hometown feel, friendly service, all while providing good, affordable seafood.

That explanation didn't make sense and honestly made me feel unwelcomed as a paying customer. I was really looking forward to my meal, and the interaction completely killed the vibe. If you plan on eating here, I would recommend ordering in person to avoid any confusion. I'd also suggest the café clarify this policy, because the inconsistency took away from what would have otherwise been a great experience.
