Longitude 118 (inside Le Méridien, Arcadia) is a great lounge-style bar that pairs perfectly with Mélange--same space, but with more of a relaxed vibe and handheld, bar-friendly options. The ambiance is beautiful and modern, making it a great spot for drinks, light bites, or a casual date night that still feels a little elevated. They offer a full bar with a solid drink selection, and the overall service was friendly and welcoming. Food leans more toward handhelds like burgers and sandwiches, which makes it easy to just hang out and snack while you drink. The charcuterie board was so good and was honestly one of the best parts of the experience--great variety of cheeses, nuts, olives, bread, and that fig jam was amazing. Definitely a must-order if you're there. Overall: A stylish, comfortable bar with good food options and great drinks. Whether you're pairing it with Mélange or just stopping in for a drink and a bite, it's a solid spot to unwind.

Wanted brunch and this place came up on Yelp. Didn't know it was basically a bar in a local hotel with an attached restaurant. A little pricier than what you can get at a nearby lunch spot but not by too much. Free valet for three hours with validation! Recommend avocado toast and Japanese breakfast as they have yummy salmon which is a healthy protein that would keep you full.

Longitude 118 is a lovely and modern American for all-day dining at Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia. I came here just for a reg coffee and butter croissant. Both were good. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Female staff is cute, amiable and professional. Prices were economically high. Service was on point. Overall, I had a good order experience. I recommend it.

I'll start by saying that I do frequent this bar. They recently updated the menu and tonight I tried the lamb chops, mashed potatoes, and the salmon crispy rice - all of which was amazinggg!! The lamb chops were tender and flavorful as well as the crispy rice! The wonderful bartender Scheye'anne (hope I spelled that right ) made me a delicious cocktail as well! Def recommend trying it out if you're thinking about it!

Second time coming for Easter, first was before their name change. This restaurant is located inside the Meridian hotel by their full bar. A contemporary hotel with chic decor and decent food selections. Their menu has a lot of Asian influenced items, with flavors and ingredients familiar to the Japanese and Chinese cuisine. From the Easter pre fixe menu, we started off with a delicious and light lobster broth. For the appetizer, the yellow tail carpaccio had an appetizing yuzu base sauce. Yellowtail was fresh. I chose lamb chops for main entree and it did not disappoint. Lamb chops were EXECELLENT and cooked perfectly crispy and tender. It was my favorite item on the list. Lastly, everyone's desserts were combined into a dessert dish. The presentation was beautiful but tbh I was quite disappointed with the taste and variety. Does not live up to the price tag and hotel location. I expected the desserts to be more unique and "high end" considering this is a hotel. Aside from the macarons which were decent, everything else was mediocre. Everything else was ultra sweet and low cost/effort. The mini cupcakes were laughable, looked and tasted like market bought. The custard in the fruit tart was very bland, almost no flavor with a hint of sweetness, unlike the common fruit tart custard (like Porto's). The fudge bars were topped with a caramel and was excruciatingly sweet altogether, we only took a bite. I really looked forward to the desert and expected a lot more. It definitely fell short of my expectations. Vegas buffet dessert is better than this. Overall, food was decent but decor and environment is the money. I otherwise enjoyed my dining experience and would come back again for as the menu updates. Please do more pre fixe menus for holiday events! Looking forward to Mother's Day menu.

The decor was stunning! I grew up in Arcadia and my parents still live there so this was an unexpected and beautiful restaurant in my hometown. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing. The service was unbelievably slow, like we had bottomless mimosas and were there for 2 hours but only got refilled once, and we had to ask several times for it. Our waiter took 20min before coming by and taking our order and only after we waved someone down 3x. Apps took another 30min to come out. The avocado toast was so underwhelming - it was straight up on sliced bread you can buy at the market and the avocado on top seemed like it came from a package as well. Our entrees all arrived at the same time except for 2 of the 13 people in our party, and they waited nearly 10min after we received ours to get theirs. The main entree (Japanese bento breakfast) was good, but portions were tiny for a $68pp set menu. They have a ways to go on training staff for prompt service and the kitchen for timeliness and food quality. Plating was beautiful though.

Good food & drinks, friendly staff, nice ambiance, family friendly & cool AC. We live locally & decided to check it out. Unfortunately happy hour is only Mon-Thurs 4-7p, it's no longer available on Fri. They have free 3hr valet parking with validation. If you check-in on Yelp, you get 10% off your order. We enjoyed everything we ordered: popcorn shrimp tempura, chicken karaage, beef yakisoba, waygu burger & Asian chicken salad. My least favorite was the salad, it had a little mustard flavor in it & I'm not a fan of mustard but my husband loved it. You can sit at the bar, there's tables & chairs, as well as couches, and they have TVs playing sports games. I highly recommend checking this place out, especially during happy hour.

Longitude 118 is the bar in the lobby of the Le Meridien hotel. MayLene D. and I had reservations for Melange but service was so slow and negligent for a long time after we seated that we escaped to the bar nearby to quench our thirst. Rick was the bartender and he was extremely accommodating to our demands. For the first round of drinks MayLene D. wanted something pretty and fruity with grey goose. I asked for something pretty in a shade of pink or purple, no alcohol preference. Rick definitely got creative and delivered what we wanted. He even double checked to make sure I was okay with Gin since there's an Empress Gin that has a pretty purple shade. Both drinks were tasty. For the second round we came back a little after and just wanted some more pretty drinks. Rick took a bit longer the second time around and despite the fact that I gave him my credit card for those drinks to close out, he tried to add it to our restaurant tab. I went back and I was very clear I wanted to close out on this separate tab. Either way I would be paying for it but it's the allocation of tip I care about. I wasn't getting sufficient help from the Melange staff, they didn't help me at all, I don't care to add to their tip any more than I need to. Rick was the one actually giving us some service. Second drinks weren't as tasty or pretty, but sufficient. I probably won't come back to Longitude 118 since I'll avoid Le Meridien all together, but Rick was the sliver of decent service that saved an otherwise failing adventure.

Idk how can you guys all give this place 5 stars, y'all either got paid, or are damn bots... Let's start with good: the server was nice and apologetic, he was a bartender too. The hotel is cute and looks super new. THE FOOD WAS AWFUL THO... Roasted chicken - The chicken looked good, but it was on the smaller side. First half was pretty juicy, but undercooked. Hope I won't get food poisoning, second half was absolutely dry. How do u make chicken both over cooked and undercooked?!?! LOL the best part was corn and fries even though soggy. My friend liked the wagyu burger - BUT IT LOOKS WORSE THAN A DENNYS FOR SO MUCH DAMN MONEY. No. The kale pasta - SALTYYY!!! We tried to return it, n server offered a new bowl of pasta with no salt but that never came out. Overall drinks were ok. This priced at what it was priced which was $150 plus drinks was atrocious. I'm not coming back. Reviewers are delusional istg.

What a beautiful and contemporary restaurant. The restaurant is inside the Le Meredian hotel. The only option you have is to valet, which is $27. Manager-Will and Server-Eric were beyond amazing and made you feel so welcome. Eric was ever attentive to our experience. He was friendly and provided the most exceptional dining experience. Food came quickly and my steak was cook to perfection. The restaurant did provide validation. This place made us feel special. I would definitely dine here again. Thank you Will and Eric for an amazing dining experience . Also, check in with yelp to get 10% off your total bill. come check this place. You won't disappoint. This place is definitely Yelp worthy

Longitude 118 is a bar/lounge with a lovely ambiance inside the sleek new Le Méridien Arcadia, right by the Mélange restaurant. The bar and lounge space is quite gorgeous with the indoor part of the lounge flowing seamlessly outside patio seating. Interior decor is mid-century modern with some industrialist art pieces. Sat down for a couple cocktails - I had a decent Sazerac and my friend Steven had the Sour at the Derby (Jim Beam, Drambuie, syrup, bitters) which tasted rather watery, unfortunately. Service was also a bit slow, but they've only been open a short while and seems like they're still working out some kinks, so I'd expect it to get better. Overall it's a beautiful spot, a venue with a level of class that didn't previously exist in Arcadia. I can definitely see this place becoming a mainstay for a nice night out without having to drive to Pasadena or farther west.

This spot opened about a year ago, and has a cool speakeasy style entrance at the Highland Park Bowl bowling alley. It is a small space, and I would highly recommend making a reservation on Resy. You have 90 minutes to drink and dine. I parked behind the bowling alley where there is a medium sized pay parking lot. Park in a space, remember your space number painted on the ground, and go to the pay station at the end of the lot. I found the parking machine to be extremely finicky as did other people. After ten minutes of failure, I ended up moving my car to another space, and then it worked. This has nothing to do with the Lucky Tiki, but FYI if you park there. We walked around to the front of the bowling alley, and checked in. Seating options include at the bar, tiki hut booths, and high top tables. The décor inside is a tiki lovers paradise. The room has a high ceiling with many tiki lamps, floats, puffer fish, tiki huts, thatch, ropes, barrels, netting, carvings, a hanging canoe, and a large tiki right in the middle of the space. In addition to the great décor, when you order certain drinks, special effects are triggered. There was also great tiki music playing all evening. We sat at the bar since we always enjoy talking to the bartenders. We actually ran into Skipper Christian in the parking lot on the way in, and he ended up being our main bartender, with Nick and Jo also working behind the bar. We put in a food order right away. The chicken potstickers ($12) came with five tasty bites, and the garlic teriyaki dipping sauce was good. We also had the giant pretzel ($16) which comes with mustard, beer cheese, and ranch sauces. This was excellent, and the perfect filling snack before a bunch of drinks. My first drink was the Siren's Song (Flor de Cana Eco rum, lemon juice, cassis, Oloroso sherry, apricot foam topper, $19). This drink is served in a great mermaid with skull mug and triggers special sound effects and bubbles fill the air. Those bubbles on top of the drink had a great light citrusy apricot flavor, probably the best flavored bubbles I've ever had. The drink itself was very good and balanced with some complexity. She wasn't sure what to order at first, and Christian asked her what flavors she liked. He ended up making a spin on a Tradewinds with some mango and pineapple to go along with the apricot and coconut. It was nicely balanced and not too sweet, even with all that fruit in there. My second drink was the Sun of Suns (Tierra de Acre mezcal, coconut cream, Giffard mango liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice, $17). This was coconut and pineapple forward with some good smokiness in the background. Her second drink was the Whatever Floats Your Boat (Ford's gin, lemon juice, velvet falernum, orgeat, passion fruit syrup, guava soda, topped with hazelnut passion fruit foam, $19). It is served in a cool boat mug, and triggers thunder sound effects and lighted mechanical Polynesian tiki characters paddling a canoe over the bar. This was another good balanced drink. It was a little gin forward and the passion fruit popped out, maybe from being both in the drink and the foam top. That creamy hazelnut passion fruit form on top is delicious. I'd happily have a glass of that on its own. We were still a little hungry so we ordered the Hawaiian pizza (marinara, diced pepperoni, red onion, pineapple chunks, hot capicola ham, $16). It was another good tasting, perfectly sized snack, and the crust was light and airy. We were already fifteen minutes over our time limit, but we got the green light to stay longer to order a third drink to share. We ordered the Tiki Diablo (Flor de Cana Eco rum, Worthy Park 109 rum, Alma Tepecha chile liqueur, orange juice, lime juice, mango syrup, guava soda, $24). This drink serves two people, is served in a cool volcano bowl with glowing red lava around it, and comes with a fire show. Unfortunately, right after it was served, the host came over and said we were over our time and had to leave shortly. Christian made up for it by giving us two tall pours to go enjoy in the bowling alley bar area which was fine. We were happy we got some extra time inside. The drink was also very good, balanced with a little complexity. We had a great time. There is so much great décor to look at. The drinks and food were very good, and some of the the drink presentations and special effects were the icing on the cake. All of the bartenders were very friendly and a lot of fun. We purchased up a few zombie glasses to take home as a souvenir. I'd definitely recommend visiting the Lucky Tiki in Highland Park!

We only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The hostess and servers were attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. I really loved the vibe. There's a full bar with high-top tables, regular tables, and booths, plus TVs showing sports games. The Dodgers were playing, so that was definitely a plus. We decided to order appetizers and share a few items. First, we had the K-Town Wings. The Korean sticky wings were absolutely delicious messy in the best way and full of flavor. We also ordered the garlic fries, cooked well done, which made them extra crispy, almost like light potato chips. They were delicious as well. The last dish we shared was the Chicken Pesto Flatbread, which was topped with fresh arugula. I really liked it. It was light and crispy, and the peppery arugula gave it a great texture and fresh flavor. For my cocktail, I had The Sinclair, a fun take on a Paloma made with mezcal, pineapple, lime, and grapefruit juice with an orange twist on top. It was incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced. Overall, I highly recommend Basin 141 if you're in the Monrovia area. Even if you're not nearby, it's worth the trip you won't regret it!

Breakfast burrito was delicious. Ordered it without the beans but so good with that spicy ranch sauce.

The food is delicious and the prices are appropriate given the portion sizes. Service was prompt and professional. Parking might be a challenge, though there are public lots within a block or two. We went on a Friday night and encountered heavy traffic from the local farmer's market/fair. The best item was the Beef kabob, 5 out of 5 stars. It was perfectly cooked, a very simply salt and pepper seasoning, juicy and simply divine! We got the kids meal, which came with only 4 pieces, and I'd be interested to return for the full adult portion. Also a 5-star experience was the Fried cauliflower appetizer. It had just the right amount of crispiness, without any blackening, and the garlic/parsley/lemon juice combo worked well. The juice was sucked into all the crevices, and overall it was light. I think I could have eaten two portions myself and called it a satisfying meal. I did dip in some tzatziki, which worked great too! Lastly the Chicken shawarma was a 4-star dish. Still delicious and I'd get it again, but it was slightly salty from the marinade and added sauce. I was expecting this to be wrapped up, but it was more an open-face naan with the chicken covering the top. Rice pilaf was savory, I'd rather not know just how many calories are included, the rice was still moist even after reheating the next day.

However, the dining room was a little too dark, making it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. Unfortunately, the food was just average. Some of the dishes tasted slightly burnt, which affected the flavor. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't memorable either. The good news is that there are plenty of other great restaurants along the same street, so you have lots of choices. I'd recommend exploring one of the nearby spots instead.

The gentleman behind the bar and the gentleman who brought out my to-go order couldn't have been any nicer. I had the kimchi fried rice (sans Spam) and the kimchi stew (sans pork). I appreciated their accommodating me as I'm a fish/fowl person, not big on meat. Both orders were absolutely delish (and I had enough food for 4 days!). This Pub has all the right food, drink and atmosphere for anyone wanting authentic Korean! 5 stars

I always wanted to try this place when it replaced the previous k chicken restaurant…read more We came on a Friday night so parking was a challenge because of the Monrovia street fair going on in the area. The place wasn't too busy but fairly full, we got a table right away by the manager and sat down, immediately a staff came and provided water and menus. It wasn't dark outside yet and so the restaurant was still bright, but once the sun settled down the restaurant got really dark and neon lights started to hit hard! It was like a night in the streets scene. Very cool but also hard to see food sometimes. We ordered a large boneless chicken (sweet chili and Korean spicy, mild), tteokbokki, bulgolgi and rice, and a side of fries. I would say that mild is really mild, definitely better for me because I cannot stand spicy but my table wanted spicy but I thought I can do mild and yes it was delicious and sweet chili was not spicy at all! Lorena spicy had a kick so I did try it but can't have much. We asked for gloves to help us eat them with our hands! The bulgolgi was the star, I think everyone liked it including my son who ate so much of it! Fries were crispy and soft, I thought they were great. My son didn't eat much of it but it's because he ate a lot of the bulgolgi. Tteokbokki was just as spicy, I had a taste and flavor was good but too spicy for me. Staff came to clean up as we finished eating and checked on us very often. Restrooms are individual and gendered, it does form a line sometimes. Overall, great staff, food, and overall vibe!
