I'll be honest I mainly came here for the Dodgers game to watch the World Series....and the experience was awesome...Service is great especially for how busy they were in a packed house full of Dodgers fans! Everyone was friendly and it is more of a bar so expect BAR food...a lot of fried bites...Onion Rings, Tater Tots, Chicken Bites....Okay I went and got Veggie Potstickers just cuz it seemed healthiest and it wasn't bad either! What can I say the place was exploding with fans and was a fun and great environment! Definitely would come back!

After we have dinner at Jake's Roadhouse a friend of our take us to Copper Still Grill for drink and continue eating the night away and also Happy Hour a perfect night to celebrate my birthday. The Copper Still is a very nice bar and restaurant with atmosphere vide all kind of crowd to dine or hang at the bar and watch sports with friends and having a great time. I have a nice time at the Copper Still Grill we need come to have lunch or dinner.

Great atmosphere and vibes with large seating area and bar area to hang out. Can get quite loud and dark later in the evening however. Appetizers are great priced and quite filling. I personally liked their Buffalo Cauliflower as it was moist and had some heat, whereas the Buffalo chicken was more dry. The tater tots were fresh and crispy and the vegetable egg rolls were solid. I got their Fresh Salmon, which being one of their priciest dishes at $18, was a bit disappointed in their portion size (looked about 1/2 to 1/3 size of a normal salmon filet at any other restaurant). See if you can find the fish in the pile of vegetables on my plate! Their sandwiches looked pretty good overall considering the price point, and probably shoulda stuck with one instead. The pizzas were also pretty decent. Overall decent food, but can't expect that much from a bar. Good for weekends and hanging out, at a reasonable price.

A Bartending Master works at Copper Steel Grill - Thank you so much Nick! We had another amazing experience at Copper Steel Grill in Monrovia, and it was all thanks to the incredible bartender, Nick. From the moment we placed our order, he made us feel like it truly mattered , treating each cocktail like a personal work of art. Nick crafted the most incredible Bloody Mary I've ever had. The flavor was bold, balanced, and just perfectly layered but what made it unforgettable was the way he prepared it. Watching him mix and build the drink felt like we were getting a front-row seat to a cocktail show. His attention to detail, precision, and flair made it feel like more than just a drink...it was an experience. That Bloody Mary was so good, I was genuinely sad when I got to the last sip. If you're at Copper Steel, do yourself a favor and order a Bloody Mary made by Nick!

Cute vibes with a huge wrap around bar!

Relaxed locals spot with fun decor and an interesting wrap around bar that everyone seems to flock to in lovely Old Town Monrovia! They have quite a bit of variety on their menu, their prices are excellent, and staff very attentive and friendly. Their menu seems to focus on pub food with a Cajun slant. We tried their Buffalo crispy chicken bites to start, with the jambalaya and meatloaf sandwich as our mains. Their portions are very generous - the mains were filling and the app was more than the two of us could eat! The Jambalaya was the star of the show with tender bits of chicken breast alongside ample amounts of plump shrimp in a flavorful Cajun sauce on top of savory rice - hubby loved it and I enjoyed a couple of nibbles. Would definitely order this again. My meatloaf sandwich was just ok. The flavor was pretty good and bread was very nice - I got it with the side salad which was delicious. But the texture of their meatloaf is very unusual - it's mushy like a paste and definitely not what your typical meatloaf is like. It was a little off putting for me unfortunately and parts of it were burnt so I don't think I'd order their meatloaf items again. But everything else was great - we especially enjoyed the fun decor like all the colorful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and the art on the walls. And especially their huge bar that encircles the middle of the space - everyone seems to love it and it was packed the whole time we were there - even in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday lol! It lends itself to chatting and bonding with fellow patrons and has lots of TVs playing various sports shows and tons of beer options on tap. Excellent location and there's plenty of street parking around or in one of the public lots. Would be a fabulous choice during the vibrant Friday night farmers market. Definitely a lovely spot with great prices and nice menu options in cute Old Town Monrovia.

Service was slow, poorly staffed and ignored customers. Food was disappointing, with small portions, no flavor, and high prices. The only saving grace was their beer selection, that is, if you can get served!

Ok this place was quite the little gem that I never knew about! It's got a little bit of a sports bar vibe, all the games are in, but the food is a little better than just bar food. The service was excellent, but the reason u gotta visit and the reason I'll be back is the price!!! They have $5-$6 appetizers, and honestly most things on the menu are extremely reasonably priced!!! Appreciate that!!!

    Very nice welcoming interior.

This is truly a fun place to enjoy. I get to stop by here once a month and every time it's a great visit. Stopped by on a Sunday recently. We ordered pizzas, wings, tater tots and jalapeño poppers. The pizza was cheesy, the wings were meaty, the tots were crispy...All the food here is delicious. And the drinks ??? Well they have a great beer selection accompanied by a great mixed drink selection. The mojito, the sangria and the margaritas were tantalizing. All drinks are made well and are flavorful. Linda provided excellent service and was both attentive and friendly. I look forward to returning.

Came here to celebrate a friends go away party. We were a party of 12. When we arrived, no one greeted us. We waited 5 minutes before we walked to a waiter to ask if there were any tables available , we were told we had to wait. Ohh, but during the day we tried calling to make reservations and no answer. Ok, once we got seated, 15 min later waitress came to take our drinks order . We came in the evening so it was somewhat busy because of a football game. The bar tenders are slow with the drinks even with just serving a beer on tap . The bbq chicken pizza was good. I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was not tasty at all. The chicken patty tasted like rubber and was gross. It gave me a stomach ache, I only had half of the sandwich and kept burping the food all night. The service is horrible. I kept having to ask for napkins, refill on water. Not to mention, I ordered a drink and it took almost 30 min to get a beer. After we finished eating , the dirty dishes and cups were not picked up right away. We kept asking the waitress to clear our table. She did apologize , she was the only waitress working. However, that is no excuse. This place has potential but they need to hire more staff on the weekends and during happy hour. Great place maybe to catch a game and drinks at the bar. I don't recommend the food .

Updated review: We continue to regularly eat at CSG for their friendly and prompt service, tasty bar food, beer selection, and to watch Dodger games. This place never disappoints. Our family have now become fans and love going to CSG!!

We sat at a table by the front window facing the main drag. The area definitely has an old town feel with many restaurants and shops up and down the street. There is also a park right across the street. There is plenty of parking around the corner on the street and in a nearby lot. I started out with the Coughlin's Law cocktail (Aviation gin, house infused vanilla syrup, fresh lemon, egg white, lavender bitters, $16). It was a good light drink with light vanilla and lemon flavor. I always love a good foam top too. She started out with a Basil Paloma (Herradura silver tequila, muddled basil & grapefruit, fresh grapefruit juice, lime, simple syrup, seltzer, $15). It had good grapefruit and basil flavor, and was nicely balanced. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower appetizer ($14). The cauliflower was supposed to be grilled, but it seemed almost raw. The buffalo sauce definitely had a good kick. For my entrée, I had the Black Angus Basin Burger (manchego cheese, carmelized onions, arugula, special sauce, brioche bun, $19). The burger was excellent. The cheese, carmelized onions, and arugula was a great flavor combo. The fries were good, but I'd order them more crispy next time. She had the two taco plate with fish and potato tacos ($15). The taco shells were freshly fried, and it was a filling plate that she enjoyed. We had one more round of drinks and I had the Billionaire cocktail (Old Forrester 100 proof bourbon, lemon, house made grenadine, absinthe, $16). This was excellent. It was very balanced, and not boozy at all with a very light sweetness. Her second was the Smoke and Fire (Peloton de la Muerte mezcal, Ancho Reyes liqueur, muddled jalapeno & orange, fresh lime, agave, chili salt, $15). It was pretty well balanced with a medium smokiness. It definitely had a kick of heat on the finish. Our server Lakyn was friendly and provided good service. The menu prices are cash prices. There is an extra 3.5% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was mostly a miss, but everything else was very good so I'm rounding up to five stars. They have a very good sized cocktail and food menu, as well as many beers on tap. They also have happy hour specials. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.
