Hop Secret is a brewery in Monrovia, near the metro station. It's in a lowkey area, but is very obvious with signage once you're in front of the brewery. There's plenty of parking spaces in the lot. They have a nice selection of beers. I tried the IPA's and it's standard. The smoothie sour has hints of fruitiness, but isn't my preferred beer type - regardless, I love the innovation and uniqueness. This is a great place to catch a sports game and to play old school arcade games for free with friends or family. I also appreciate the free popcorn. There was one person running the place when I was there. She was quick and friendly, and did her job well. Overall, Hop Secret is a great hangout spot for beers, sports lovers, and arcade games.

After a nice dinner my friends and I wanted a place to keep hanging out, so we stopped by Hop Secret Brewing Company. This place in an industrial warehouse area, the secret-spot vibe and plenty of parking out front were the main reasons people come here. They have good beer selection, and we tried a few fruity, sweet brews that were tasty. This place is packed with video games, from old school consoles to full size arcade machines, which is the coolest attraction making people keep coming back. No fancy food here, but complimentary popcorn is a welcome bonus. We had a great time and will definitely return next time we are in the area looking for fun and good beer.

Super nice brewery! I loved that they have a little popcorn machine making fresh popcorn while you drink. Sweet decor and entertaining activities. The beertenders are super sweet as well. We went here because it was part of our beer passport. Will definitely come back again :)

Stumbled upon this little gem last night. Small brewery in a warehouse set up located in Monrovia. Each table has old school Nintendo games from sonic, smash bros, mario kart, street fighter, and more. What a great concept! We enjoyed throwing back a few cold ones while recreating some childhood nostalgia. The setup was really cozy and we all had a great time. The beers were solid and well priced. The sour crumble seemed to be the group favorite. Excited to come back again soon!

I had such a fun time here!! This is a great for a small to medium group of friends. In the back area, they have a plethora of games available. You can play Smash Bros with retro controllers, board games, and the best part - there are 2 arcade game machines which holds a huge variety of vintage arcade games. There's a good amount of seating, and the space is cute and clean. Bathrooms were pretty clean too. Staff was very nice. I enjoyed the selection of beers. This is a business warehouse plaza area so there's lots of available parking. They don't serve food but Lord Empanada is nearby, yum!!

I recently started coming to Hop Secret since I discovered they have beer, they allow dogs, and they got video games. I love the beer, the people, and the services. Also, it seems the majority of the patrons are happy to see my dog, so thats always welcoming. I also enjoy the paintings on the wall.

This place was such a great find! My wife and I had so much fun. She had a flight and really liked the selection of beers. I had a non alcoholic beer which is hard to find in breweries so I was very happy. We played games and enjoyed some video games too. We had good delivered as they do not serve food but have a nice selection of chips and popcorn. The bartender was so friendly! She walked us through the beer selection and just made us feel very welcomed.

    Unpasteurized beer to go. Yay!

Extremely welcoming vibes by the owner and beer tender. Everything we tasted was very unique and on point for the style that they were representing. This is truly a neighborhood craft beer gem that I hope more people discover from different parts of LA. I didn't have a "favorite" brew as such, but I think their stout was something pretty unique that you probably won't get anywhere else. Family friendly as well, with a lot of board games, if you're into that. Give them a try, always nice to support local businesses, right? You won't be disappointed, telling ya. It's really a "hop secret," hidden gem! Highly recommend!

We had a really nice time here! The woman at the bar was very friendly and informative. The ambiance is cool- there are old school video games you can play! I like that this place is like a little secret lol you have the find the little entrance in like a warehouse building. It was also dark lol when I went, maybe added to my confusion. The beers we tried were really tasty. We made like a flavored seltzer by mixing two of their drinks, per recommendation of the bar! Chill spot, good vibes. Check them out!

Smash brothers and a good brew always a good duo.

I must say that we were blessed to find this hidden gem. The beertenders are always nice and let you sample their menu so you can pick what beer is right for you and let me just say that their beer selection is on point. It is family friendly so we've came a couple times with smaller children and it's a blessing that we get to have fun while they do as well. It helps that they have a big arcade selection and even a Nintendo Wii on site! I was also very pleased with the popcorn machine that makes fresh popcorn and also with all the flavor powders you can season them with; also free! The beertenders are always very attentive and very helpful. I would definitely recommend to make a stop for a brew and a good time!

Really great find. Truly a secret and hidden amongst industrial buildings. Inside is a nice space. You can bring your own food or order food from a pizza spot with free delivery. Just order from the bartender. Inside different craft brews- enjoyed the peachy wheat beer and the tongan stout. My friend ordered pizza for us. They have plenty of tvs and video games and board games to play. I'd come back again

Games for adults and kids and an empty bar on a Saturday. You could easily spend hours here. Beer comes in 10oz or 16oz which is handy. You can order takeout food or pizza. Plenty of options within walking distance.

Simple small brewery Hop Secret in the back. Small, but cozy.. NOT a-lot of frill but nice and cool. We came in and sat at the bar, bartender approached us, gave a sample and was sold on the El Cachorro, a crispy light lager with a mild hint of citrus and no bitterness, an all day beer. My guy ordered a "Hefty Peaches," which is a hef but more of a wheat beer with a good taste of peach flavor with no bitterness. Ambiance simple, micro brewery that you can sit and relax with a good beers. Service was good, the gal bartender was friendly and she made fresh popcorn. They even had the Dodgers game on which was a plus. NO food.. Will return.

Right away, the vibe was giving outdoor patio but with cozy indoor energy. Super clean inside and out, and the staff was really friendly. Our waitress this morning--her name was "B"--was the sweetest. Super kind, always checking in on us and making sure we were good. If you're like me and super indecisive, I usually stalk the menu the night before. But this menu was HUGE--pages and pages. I flipped straight to the brunch section in the back (three full pages!) and landed on the Supreme Skillet: potatoes, over-easy eggs, bell peppers, ham, and sausage. It came with three tortillas of your choice--I picked corn. Taste-wise, it was good, but I wish there were bigger and more pieces of meat. Compared to other skillets I've had, this one was a little light on the protein. It was $17.99. I'd rate it a 6.5/10, but with the refried beans on the side, it bumped up to a 6.9/10. My bestie ordered the Combo Benedict with French toast sticks, and honestly...the French toast sticks were the star. Super crispy, fluffy inside, and perfect with syrup. We also got the mimosa flight--mango, strawberry, and peach. All were tasty, super cute, and very Instagram-worthy. I can totally see this place popping at night with music and drinks. That said, even in the morning with only one other couple next to us, the music was pretty loud--it was kinda hard to talk during our brunch, literally had to look at besties lips to know what she's saying. I can't even imagine nighttime volume, lol. Overall: Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 3.5/5 Definitely a fun spot to try, especially if it's your first time! But def plenty better brunch food out there! Happy eats!

It was on the salad menu, but saying the toppings were on a bed of lettuce would be giving the dish too much credit. It was more like a handful of lettuce underneath and that was it. My GF got the ahi salad off the salad menu and hers looked like an actual salad with plentiful lettuce. Only reason for the 4/5 is all of this! I tried one of the 7% "sour" beers on tap, not sure what to expect. I thought maybe sour meant kombucha-like aftertaste. It was KIND OF like that, but in a good way, not in a vinegar tasting way. It was actually really good, so def recommend trying a sour beer if you haven't before. It had the perf amount of sweetness. I find many cider beers to be too sweet for me, so was worried about that as well, but it was perf on sweetness level.

I would have preferred my hash browns to have a bit of a crisper crust but they were bad. My friend substituted sweet potato fries for the regular fries. The service was pretty good. Our waitress did check on us once our food arrived but didn't bother to refill our waters at all during our meal. I loved the low key vibe of the place. At least the patio seating. Just as we were about to leave there was a large party coming in which was a reserved table because we saw "reserved signs on it" and I heard the waitress asked how many dogs were there and the said 3. So I guess it's a pretty dog friendly patio which is a plus for dog owners.
