The date... The 'afternoon' date... In order to avoid awkwardness and boredom this takes a bit of finesse. You must study your opponent, I mean date. What does she like? What will keep her eyes from glazing over with boredom? Luckily for me, my date this afternoon was not a complicated person. She was that rare female breed that enjoyed beer even more than I did, and I really enjoy beer. If I wasn't watching my figure, I would fill a swimming pool with beer, jump in and drink my way out. Also, lucky for me, there was a food hall with brewery right in the city she worked in, meaning I would not be risking a DUI and the Uber fee would be manageable. Inside the Glendora Public Market there was this gem of a brewery called Smog City Brewing. They had a good variety of beers from different breweries ranging in alcohol percentage. My date didn't waste any time, she needed a beer before her shakes returned. She went ahead an ordered the Natural, a dark beer, high in alcohol content. This was my type of lady, I went ahead an ordered the same. Say what you will about beer but it sure does loosen people up, leading to some great conversations, beyond the vapid small talk. We drank, we laughed and when we got hungry, we were surrounded by an array of food stands, saving us from aligning our tastebuds and finding a restaurant to accommodate both of us. She got a hotdog, again this is my type of lady, and I got falafels. Will I see her again? If beer is involved, I just might. Stay looking for love in all the wrong places my friends.....

It may seem that being a beer-bartender is a fun or easy job. But, it is serious business, a lot of work goes into the products they serve which rotate on a regular basis. The Brewmaster here is very knowledgeable and an expert, that is easy to see and TASTE. They cater to every type of customer, from a casual drinker to beer connoisseur! I had been to the Glendora Public Marketplace several times, but this was the first time at the brewery. This neighborhood hangout is laid-back, come solo or with a group. Several customers were regulars, I noticed the Bartender knew their name when they arrived. Smog City has an impressive number of taps ready to go, or should I say flow?? Order by the glass, a tasting flight, or 6-pack to go from their mini store, called the SMOG SHOP. You can buy the glass to take home, which I did at a deal for $4 if you buy the beer or slightly more if you only want a glass as sovereign (no beer purchase). I am planning to go back and try more beers next time. When you arrive, don't forget to tell em that Rosemary sent ya!

No food to review but surely the selection of beers they have are amazing! The service is incredible and the ambiance is vibing!! Always there for a good time. It's inside a market place so if you get hungry there's so many food to choose from!

Located 'Smog City Brewing @Glendora, CA., this past week from visiting 'Glendora Public Market.' I ended up buying a Smog City Pint Glass and a Sleeve because their Purple Sleeve said 'Los Angeles,' on top. I will get around to taking pics of these Brewery swags I bought here. Service: 5/5 friendly bartender. I was fetching a wheat beer, but it was already getting to closing time, so I ended up just shopping their swags here. Ambiance: 5/5 their shop side is decorated even though small but please consult pictures I have attached with this review down below for further reference. I'll be back for a Wheat Beer in the near future with the Pint glass I bought.

This is the best thing the food hall has to offer. Smog has great beers. I always gotta get some to go too. Although it's not the brewery, it beats driving to Torrance. I can't wait until the Smogtoberfest is back. It's one of my favorite from them. I like that they also change their selections constantly so it seems there is something new to try often.

The ambiance here is super chill and laid back. Came here with my family and we had a blast. Got the chance to have a conversation with Anthony and he's such a dope dude. Very knowledgeable with all the beers and definitely recommend some good ones. I had the Lightning Sprites Hazy IPA and it hit the spot. It was juicy and crushable! If you are looking for food well, luckily you are in the right spot. The Glendora market has multiple spots to choose from and being able to stop and get a beer or two from Smog is just the icing on the cake! Thank you Anthony for your magnificent hospitality. I will be visiting soon!

Smog City Brewing is a Beer Company, and this location is in the Glendora Public Market. They have lots of diverse beer options on the menu. The bartender was nice and made good recommendations. I ordered the Citrus Blonde, which was sweet and gave me a good buzz. It was also a reasonable price. We went for Smogtoberfest, which had live music. It was a bit loud, but the vibes were nice. There was also other places for food nearby and lots of seating. I'd recommend coming here with a few friends for a casual get together or drink.

13% alcohol volume... forgot the name, Imagine (something)... dark beer... quite bitter...

Located inside the Glendora Public Market. Has a wide variety of beers to choose from. I'm not a beer gal but if it's your thing, you'll never be short on options. It's a brewery so no wine, no cocktails, etc. Though they do have some strong beer (goes up to 14% for the highest volume). But the stronger the beer, the darker & bitter it is... should have went for their strongest cider instead. Ambiance is casual, tons of food vendor around to pair your beer with. Service is good, quick & simple.

Service was excellent! The atmosphere was low key. You can mix your flavors. I plan to go back and try the other available options.

As I pulled up to the parking lot, I noticed they had an outdoor seating area, which is really nice on hot days. It looked like a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.

They have a little outside in the front with a few picnic tables. There were limited options for both beer and seltzers. The beer I got was red and it was pretty good. The only service is when you go up to order the drinks, they don't come around and pick up cups, they leave it to you to bring them back. The pizza and wings were really delicious. We ordered the supreme pizza and buffalo wings, garlic knots. It was a large enough size to feed 5 adults and 2 toddlers. I would definitely recommend getting the pizza. The ranch was different but good. This brewery is family friendly and pet friendly.

I attempted to make reservations through OpenTable but I screwed this up (but great to know you can make reservations). We arrived at 7:30 and were informed it'd be about 45 minutes for a table. So we ordered our first round; Blonde (for me) and the Light (husband). We grabbed our beers and walked around the interior and exterior. What an awesome venue!!! It definitely gives a camp vibe outside. Absolutely beautiful. We waited about 25-30 minutes before our table was ready; picnic table outside. Note, there was a spot at the bar that opened but we opted for outside (no reservations needed for the bar counter). At our picnic table outside, we were by ourselves with nice spacing from the other table and seating areas. Unfortunately we didn't have a fire pit near us, got a little chilly last night. We ordered a second round of drinks (tried the Pickle and Spicy Pickle Beers), the Brewery Board (charcuterie board) and Chili Cheese Fries. Surprisingly, both beers paired well with the Brewery Board... Now I can say I tried those beers and will opt others lol. Fries were really good (their chili - meaty with few beans, great flavor) delicious and board was fresh and tasty. Overall great experience!!! Thank you to the awesome hostess, pickup area bartender and our server. You all made our night :D
