I want to give a shoutout to George, the bartender working Saturday--he was incredibly accommodating. He went out of his way to put on the NBA playoffs for our group, stayed attentive the whole time, and made sure we had everything we needed. He also gave great recommendations on the beers. The other bartender working was just as polite and honest, which made the experience even better. As for the drinks, I was hooked on "No Tan Lines" and "P-Town." "No Tan Lines" was super smooth and easy to drink with a nice coconut kick, while "P-Town" had a richer, thicker feel with strong coffee notes--both were absolutely delicious. It was fun trying something new each time, and sometimes I would specifically come because of whichever vendor was there that day. Since transitioning to their in-house Deeply Rooted Bistro, the experience unfortunately hasn't been the same for me. So they opened "the Deeply Rooted" food they sell in -house.. Before they always had great food trucks.. So here's my take on the food. We ordered onion rings, to die for. (5 plus).. We decided on the "sausage and pepper rustica" pizza.. well, I like thick, delicious crust. This one was thin, and chewy.. not enough air so it gets cold and hard fast.. It had good flavor, but when it gets cold, all the topping comes off. I think a 2 star. Wasn't a fan. Hopefully they get it together and get the bumps out..I will definitely return for the beer and now the onion rings or will try something different or just live off the onion rings..so to balance it out.. I've never felt so unwelcome at a business. The women's restroom line was ridiculously long, and my husband suggested I use the men's since it was completely empty. I used the stall quickly and respectfully, and yet, staff came in and told us we needed to leave the brewery altogether just for that. It felt unfair and extreme, especially since this is California, where businesses are supposed to make reasonable accommodations for restroom access. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, they chose to kick out paying customers who were simply trying to avoid waiting in an unnecessarily long line. To make it worse, the men's restroom has urinals with no privacy dividers, which seems like a building code issue in itself. I would encourage Old Stump Brewery to rethink how they treat customers. A little compassion goes a long way, and until then, I cannot recommend this place. read more

The good...cool ambience and outside patio. The OK....some great bands (The Dogs), some not so great bands. Some great food trucks (Infused Roots) and some good food trucks. The bad...I'm a huge craft beer fan and every single beer I've had here is mediocre. I've never had a great beer. For example see the attached picture of what is supposed to be a nitro Irish Stout. No nitro. Zero. Very light in color and flavor. Every hazy ipa I've had is lacking in the juicy flavor one expects in a hazy. We went to Old Stump Brewery in Pomona with another adult couple to see Cheap Sax Band. The band was very good and the reason we came. Unfortunately, the experience was not enjoyable for adults. The dance floor was filled with young children (approximately ages 3-8) running, jumping, and chasing each other throughout the performance. Their parents encouraged it, and brewery staff did not intervene or set any boundaries. As a result, adults were unable to use the dance floor or comfortably enjoy the live music. For an evening show at a brewery, this was disappointing. Clear expectations or staff management during live performances would greatly improve the experience. read more

Come alone or meetup with friends for a place with a cool vibe, good service, fair prices and they are dog-friendly too. I usually stay for a couple of beers, but I have also stopped by to pickup a growler to go. During the pandemic, they managed to survive by partnering with a food truck or caterer to offer tasty food. The Dept of Public Health allowed beer to be served, if food was available. The beers and seltzers are delicious - I highly recommend the blood orange seltzer or No Tan Lines Coconut Milk Stout. The prices were super reasonable too. The slushy machine was down when we went which was such a bummer but we'll just have to come back to give it a shot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food truck that was there when we went was mediocre which would probably be my only gripe.
