This used to be Dale Brothers and now Last Name Brewing. But they are the ones that make "Pomona Queen" One of my favorite brewery in Upland. Their beer menu changes seasonally but they keep their original popular beer all the time. They have plenty of video games you can play inside and plenty of seating inside and out. Depending on which day you go but they usually have food truck vendors there you can order food from. But best part of this place is you can bring outside food there. Great staff and great beer so what else do you need? Must try if you havent yet and some nights they do live music there. read more

Picked up a beer at the brewery, and a couple tacos at a food truck on-site, before a show at Ophelia's jump. Service was friendly and it was pretty lively on a Saturday evening. They have a good variety of beers and I liked what I got (a wheat beer). Glad it wasn't onlyyyy IPAs as sometimes happens at breweries. The only downside to me is the location being in an industrial park. If in the area give them a try! read more

Just came in for 2 growlers of their hazy ipas and they were both delicious. 8.5% prices seemed fair. They had a private event going on so it was only open up front but they had plenty of space outside to enjoy your beer. I'd definitely come back to this place if in the area. Staff was friendly and saw plenty of dogs outside too so that's a plus for those who can't leave the house without their dog. read more

I found this brewery while organizing events for my previous job, and I fell in love with it. Around October, they have a pumpkin beer that is excellent--I used to take growlers home to enjoy whenever I wanted. First time visiting, cool little spot that is easy to find when you know what you're looking for. Indoor and outdoor seating so options abound. Had a live band the Saturday we were there that was pretty solid for a 2 man band! Shuffleboard was fun and right in the perfect spot to watch the band and have a drink. Beer tenders were nice and informative, some reviews knock em but aside from not having an urgency sense they took the time with each person they were assisting. Way better selection of beers and seltzers than what shows online. The strawberry blonde was delightful with the perfect balance of sweetness at the finish. The red was good, nutty but not overpowering. Didn't see any stouts on deck but may have overlooked it. Worth the visit for sure, maybe skip the food truck and hit the Hat like we did. Super cool little spot, tucked away in an industrial complex which adds to the tranquility of it. The beers here are all great, they had a strawberry beer which was absolutely delicious. Brought a few friends and we played trivia as well which was a blast! Really like this place a lot and will forsure be adding it to my weekend rotation for breweries. Last Name Brewing is hands down one of the best breweries in all of California. Definitely my favorite brewery in the IE. Every time I come in the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about all their beer selections. I also love the atmosphere and environment of the brewery. If you like IPAs this is the place to come to. The Giga Watt and Tacklin Fuel are my personal favorites. I also really enjoy the Dropkick Mercy as well. I am never disappointed when I come in. I love coming to Last Name Brewing after I finish flying at Cable Airport. The staff here are wonderful, and they have a really cool looking space inside. I tend to lean towards the IPAs - and my favorite is the runway IPA. They also had this delicious Green Kiwi seltzer for St. Patrick's day that was delicious. You can order flights and then take any of the beer home with you that you liked. They also have a pinball machine and numerous other board games that you can play with your group. They will have food trucks from time to time and you can check their instagram page to see what food trucks will be in during any given day. Last Name is one of my favorite breweries. They are the brewers of Pomona Queen, one of my favorite beers. They often have good entertainment and varied food trucks. I was excited to receive the text about their Seis de Mayo celebration. Latin music, food, and Loteria were advertised. Upon arrival (5:30pm) we noticed there was little too no Latin music playing. The DJ was playing club music. He obviously doesn't know the LNB crowd or authentic Latin music. The other thing we noticed is how many children were there. There were as many children as there were adults. It looked like a Saturday afternoon at the playground. We had one beer and left to go to a more adult setting. None of these things are the totally the fault of Last Name Brewing. But it will make me think twice about going again. read more

Last name Brewing formally known as Dale Brothers is located in an industrial area, easy to miss at night, but easy to see in the day! I was excited to try this brewery as I've heard great things about it, but sadly won't be going back anytime soon. I tried their award winning beers and they were okay, within 15 miles there are sooo many other breweries to try, that have a great environment, great service and great beer. I do give kudos where kudos are due, and their service was really good. The lovely ladies serving beer were so polite and very knowledgeable when it came to beer, I love that! They no longer have pinball machines at the location, nor play music. I went on a Saturday night and it was pretty dead sadly. Overall the service was a 4 parking was a 4 Location was a 3 And beer was a 2 I averaged everything out to a 3 They do have food trucks outside or you are more than welcome to bring your own food as well! This place is awesome! Huge place and the beer was good! They have seating indoors and outdoors. Lots of separate patio tables instead of big benches. Pinball machines! Super cool! Love the names of the beers too! Lucille blonde, james blonde, gigawatt, and disco parade were all delish! Parking was easy! Lots of room. It's hidden in a business complex area in the back side but not hard to find. Staff were great. They pick up your empty glasses keeping the place neat and tidy. PRE-COVID REVIEW: Went here with friends a few times after work to drink some beers! I'm not too big of a beer person, but I enjoyed their Pomona Queen! Seems like it's a big hit on Yelp and I agree. They have a good selection of beers available on their menu the last time I was here, so I believe they really do have something for everyone. Since this was pre-covid we did also come since Last Name was hosting a cool trivia night! I thought that was an awesome idea and it was a lot of fun participating... unfortunately, we didn't win haha. But I would love to do it again whenever things return back to normal! Updated Review: Andy reached out and took full responsibility for the misunderstanding in being able to redeem our Groupon deal. Very nicely done! His follow up and professionalism were excellent. We were able to go back, pick up the glasses that we were supposed receive, and tried another beer. We tried the American Black, which was smooth and enjoyable. (Last time we got the Pomona Queen which tasted like a weak 805.) The person who was there today was Dominicus, and my husband said he was super nice and helpful! We definitely want to keep supporting these guys as they struggle with no dining in due to Covid restrictions but continue to brew the good stuff! read more

I stopped by Last Name Brewery this past weekend for some brewskys. I've been on a mission to try every brewery in the IE, and Last Name is definitely one you don't want to miss. Between the three of us we tried a little bit of everything. Each flight was $10 and came with four beer tastings. I decided on the Cream Ale, Blonde, Oktoberfiesta, and went a little crazy with the Watermelon IPA. I definitely want to return to give the handmade nonalcoholic Root Beer a shot. Overall my favorite was the Cream Ale which was incredibly light and easy to drink. The atmosphere was great with a large shaded patio, fun board games, plus couch and table seating inside. read more

The atmosphere of the place is great, I typically go on Saturday right when they open so there is never really too many people at that time (not sure how much more busy it would be closer to the holidays though). Thoroughly enjoyed this brewery. Lots of open space and lots of seating indoors. Lots of merchandising for sale: T-shirts, hats, cups, mugs, stickers, key rings, soaps (?), etc. The bartender was friendly and chill. There are 5 pinball machines as for funsies as well. We ordered the: gigawatt hazy IPA and the grapefruit IPA and both were delightful. Definitely will come back in the future if I'm ever in the area. read more

"Long live the queen!" Pomona queen is my favorite beer and Last Name makes it lol! It's so good, it's a crisp lager. I love when local eateries have it on their menu...so good! The most recent time I visited was during the pandemic, they were doing to go only so we got 2 growlers of Pomona Queen to go lol! Service is always good and they make you laugh which is something I AM LOOKING FOR in a brewery LOL! So cool, love everyone there! As a tip to guests, for some reason it's always warm, dress down with something cool for sure. I dont know if they're able to regulate the temperature due to it being a warehouse... I dont know but all the times I've been there it's been warm. They normally have events too which is awesome (e.g. live music, games, food vendors). This is my first time going out since Covid-19 and this brewery made it easy. All the bartenders are wearing masks, the tables have signs "sanitized please have a seat" or "not sanitized please wait to be seated". It has a large outdoor seating area with multiple picnic tables, high tables, and low patio tables. They are dog friendly and kid friendly. Great music and amazing environment. It's conveniently located near my father in law so if I need to run to the grocery store or whatever reason I can come up with I can stop here for a quick beer The beer is really good, great IPAs and everyone seems to really like the fruit beers. This is a regular spot for some friends that live here and I can see why.
