    Saloon No. 12 rockin out.

6pm, Saturday, November 15, 2025 K wanted to hear live music, one of the bands she followed. Saloon No. 12, a quartet of dudes played modern & classic rock covers. We stayed for 2 of the 3 sets. It was frickin loud, we danced, great set list. Lots of Tom Petty and Led Zeppelin with a sprinkling of Boingo's Dead Mans Party, ZZ Top, the Cult, Stones, Queen, Boobie Bros, Fleetwood Mac, and Foo Fighters Everlong in between. The trumpeting on Dead Man's Party, rocked! I didn't order any food nor drink. We were headed to dinner afterward and I drove. I took a sip of K's hard Root beer, I thought it was a porter. It tasted good but not a drink I'd usually order. There's an outdoor patio area with heaters as well as heaters inside near the mini stage. There were plenty of tables and chairs, no problem getting a seat. There were two all gender single use restrooms near the front. I'm not from the area and it was raining so I completely passed Porterfield Way (a driveway). It's in an industrial park in the back.

3/15/25 What an awesome place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day weekend!! Didn't know this place existed until our friend V sent us an ad to come check them out today coz she knew about an up & coming Cambodian pop up she found on IG, Chan Smokers. I'm not much of a drinker at all but I love some good ol fashioned smoked brisket--- as they say- off da hook! Man oh man, we were in for a treat! Baldy Brewery is hidden gem that serves up all sorts of spirits, mainly dart beers. Don't know much about that either but this weekend was special due to St. Patrick's Day. They served green colored beer, it actually looked refreshing! Live duo was playing, Matt & Amber, great acoustics & fabulous renditions of classics. The crowd loved it! Ambiance is chill, easy going, come as you are attire. The other food vendor there was Fatboy Tacos--will try them next time. I love that by the entrance to the shop, a wall was covered in green sequined background & a table with props for customers use to take photos or selfies, how fun! Took advantage of that with my friend, V. No cover needed, just purchased food from the vendors, our group ordered beers, sat & listened to the live music. Would've been cool if they have music to dance to lol. Parking is complimentary & plentiful. Would love to return especially if Chan Smokers will be there to get our grub on. Staff seem friendly but did not encounter any when we went. There's indoor & outdoor seating, basic chairs, tables & a few picnic style benches. Very relaxed atmosphere. Come check em out!

I learned of Baldy Brewing from one of the food vendors on their IG @ The _ Chan _ Smokers . Baldy Brewing looks small from the outside, as I walk indoors this brewery is spacious inside. Lots of seatings indoors and bar counters also out doors seatings available with heat lamps to keep customers warm. During this festivities a node to St. Patty's celebration there were two separate musician bands for entertainment. The Craic Haus and Mark & Amber . Both bands kept the crowds atmosphere lively. Beer on tap and IPA's selections were the perfect mix with delicious food provided by the chan smokers and FatBoy tacos . Family and pets friendly.

I went here last Saturday 3/12/25 with an awesome group of 8 friends! I have picked up and dropped off so many riders here over the years, but it was finally time to be a customer here! So this Baldy Brewery is located in Upland, just northwest of the In n Out off of Foothill between Benson and Central and due south of Cable Airport. This place does not have food. However, they allow food vendors to come set up outside. The two food vendors this day were The Chan Smokers and Fat Boy Tacos! All 3 places provided a great service to come enjoy our group outing here! The main reason we came here was my good friend V sent us an add and my other good friend Joel popped us up to support The Chan Smokers, a great Cambodian food producer! This brewery has indoor and outdoor seating. Has restrooms and a water cooler with clear cups for those that don't usually drink or always drive people around. Now the foods...I ordered the beef skewers, rice, and veggie salad bowl. Let me tell you, the slight spice and beautiful overall flavor of the 3 beef skewers was out of this world!!! Included with the bowl was a banana pudding dessert, which was also super tasty. I love how they cook their scrumptious rice as well! I was also able to order 3 asada tacos from Fay Boy Tacos. These were perfectly made. I enjoyed half of my foods and was able to take home the other half of the foods to my daughter as I live about 3/4 of a mile from this brewery. She was happy I shared! Overall, this is a great facility to enjoy company. My friends that drink a little seemed to really enjoy here. When The Chan Smokers and/or Fat Boy Tacos are invited back, I would definitely be back here!!! They also have a stage for live singers and bands for entertainment! Was cool to get a couple people playing and singing for the fun St Patty's Day weekend! See you again here soon as I will keep an eye out for other events here too!!!

Great to see Baldy Brewing alive and thriving on St. Patrick's weekend! Visited with the Yelp fam, enjoyed their pop up food vendors and live bands. The main entrance has the menu board with taps, merch and a few tables lining the walkway to the main seating area. A mix of bar height, tables with benches or chairs. Two patio sections one by the front entrance and the other by the stage towards the back entrance. Restrooms are in front by the main entrance. Water station is self serve with cups in dispenser on the wall. Service was quick and efficient. Wish they served in chilled pints as opposed to plastic cups. Hopefully in the future this can be implemented. Plenty of parking among the warehouses. The street is a little hidden if you end up at tropical lei turn around, you've gone too far :D

Transitioned from "Last Name Brewing" to "Baldy Brewing Company". Good service, good beers, awful seltzers, plenty of seating inside and outside.

    Front Entry!

Service awesome but excellent beer selection and well worth the beer crawl ‼. Very comfortable space and plenty of parking too. !

Great live music!!! Love this artist!!

The seltzers here are delicious and that's crazy for me to say because when I think of seltzers, I think of disgusting Trulys or White Claws. I hate seltzers because it's like a can of carbonated water with one atom of flavor. Vile. Anyway, I am happy to report that that is *not* the case here. I could seriously toss back a bunch of these because they taste (and look) great! I had to order the Mega Man themed seltzer as a Mega Man fan (well, Mega Man X). It was blueberry lemonade and a nice blue color. I also ordered the Spyro one too, but not because I'm a fan of Spyro. I'm just a sucker for anything strawberry. Both were excellent! I also had an IPA which was honestly really good too. Regarding game play it's $10 per person for unlimited play. Although, it sounded like it was for both my friend and I at first until I paid. That's when I realized it's per person. Anyway, still great value considering how much money I would've shoved into House of the Dead 1 and 1943. The space is pretty small though. Wish they had maybe a few more games to choose from, but overall it was a great experience! I work in area exactly like where Level Up is located. It would be so crazy to work next door to a place like this. I would literally be here a few times a week lol

As a seltzer girl, I absolutely LOVE the BlackLav, but Pro-Five recently added something new... a kitchen! They're now serving empanadas, and they are incredible in both flavor and quality. You can get three for $15 and choose from chicken, beef, or spinach. They come with chimichurri and garlic sauce, which take them to the next level. Do yourself a favor and don't skip these. I had them last night and was craving them so much that I came back again today for lunch just to get some more. So good! Great addition!

They did card us at the entrance and give us a wristband. I'm not sure if this is everyday, or just because of the festival. It is family friendly, there were kids of all ages, so the wristbands could just be an extra precaution. The menu is small but they had a bit of everything. You order when you walk in and then pick up your drinks at the counter. We went with a Patio Szzn and a Supplemental (both IPAs). They were both delicious, I found them to be on the lighter side for an IPA. Definitely refreshing though. There was indoor and outdoor seating. We managed to find a high table inside. Outside seemed busy. They also had a food vendor outside, which smelled amazing. I saw a few people with orders of tacos and they looked really good. The place also has a huge calendar with their events for the month. Seems like a cool place for a date night or night out with friends, maybe on trivia night. But overall a cool, low key place with scrumptious beers.

We were fine with it, and were given two menus and told to sit anywhere we wanted. After 15 minutes, no servers had come out to take drink orders or anything, so my boyfriend went inside to ask if someone could come take our order. I looked around the patio area and realized there were two other tables whose patrons were there before us, waiting for drinks and service, just like we were. One of them was fanning herself with the menu, as it was close to 100° outside. (There are no misters on the patio, just a slight breeze now and then. And, if you sit near the patio entrance, you should know that the huge dryer vents from the adjacent hotel are pushing hot air into the patio.) My boyfriend came back and said that he was told "someone will be out soon", and he noticed that all the servers were watching the soccer game inside. We waited another minute or so, and decided to leave and find another place for lunch. We were so glad we left...we ended up at Gus's BBQ across the way, and OMG...save yourself the trouble of the weak menu & non-existent service at The Back Abbey and walk over to Gus's. You won't regret it!
