As a seltzer girl, I absolutely LOVE the BlackLav, but Pro-Five recently added something new... a kitchen! They're now serving empanadas, and they are incredible in both flavor and quality. You can get three for $15 and choose from chicken, beef, or spinach. They come with chimichurri and garlic sauce, which take them to the next level. Do yourself a favor and don't skip these. I had them last night and was craving them so much that I came back again today for lunch just to get some more. So good! Great addition!

They did card us at the entrance and give us a wristband. I'm not sure if this is everyday, or just because of the festival. It is family friendly, there were kids of all ages, so the wristbands could just be an extra precaution. The menu is small but they had a bit of everything. You order when you walk in and then pick up your drinks at the counter. We went with a Patio Szzn and a Supplemental (both IPAs). They were both delicious, I found them to be on the lighter side for an IPA. Definitely refreshing though. There was indoor and outdoor seating. We managed to find a high table inside. Outside seemed busy. They also had a food vendor outside, which smelled amazing. I saw a few people with orders of tacos and they looked really good. The place also has a huge calendar with their events for the month. Seems like a cool place for a date night or night out with friends, maybe on trivia night. But overall a cool, low key place with scrumptious beers.

As an avid beer drinker, Rescue Brewery is one of my go-to breweries in the area. It is always clean, has friendly staff, and has great brews and food! Before sitting down, you're supposed to order your beers with the nice beertenders at the front. I usually get the Haze Against The Machine. They also have a good menu and a happy hour! I had ordered their garlic fries and their poke nachos. The beertenders gives you a number, then you can display it at the table of your choice. The atmosphere inside is nice' they have cute string lights placed all around. They're also usually playing modern music or country. It does get a bit loud in there dependent on how many people are inside. Their garlic fries are very crispy and have garlic pieces sprinkled on top. The sauce it comes with is addicting. My favorite is definitely their poke nachos! It has an abundant amount of tuna sprinkled over it with jalapeños, pickled onions, pickled radishes, and their delicious sauce. Their wonton chips are very crunchy, too! I washed it down with my IPA that was super hazy and crisp. I've been here a few times, but forget to check in/do a review. I didn't forget this time! They're always consistent in every aspect, so brewery hoppers, you need to put this on your list!

We had about 26 people, and I was so concerned that I wouldn't be able to find a place that could seat us all on a Saturday evening. I emailed with Alex, the taproom manager, a little less than 2 weeks before the date I wanted, and she told me that they would be able to accommodate us! I was so incredibly relieved! After our axe throwing, we walked the VERY short walk across the street, and Alex and her staff had our tables ready to go for everyone! They made our huge group feel so welcomed and taken care of from the moment we got there! Alex explained to us that the food and drinks are ordered at the registers, which made it so easy and convenient for everyone to not have to worry about doing separate checks for a big group (that can get confusing and messy sometimes). The beers, seltzers, and food were all incredible!!! Even the most particular people in our group raved about how good everything was, and trust me when I say, that is a high compliment! The staff were absolutely incredible as well! They were so knowledgeable about the beers, so patient with our big group, and were just so helpful and kind! Everyone is still talking about how great everything was, and I'm truly so grateful to Alex and the rest of the staff at Rescue Brewing for making my husband's birthday so amazing!! We appreciate you all so much, and we can't wait to come back soon!

This is a cool, family-owned micro-brewery situated in a strip center. There's plenty of parking, both indoor and patio seating, and a really nice selection of well-made craft beers. BEERS: My wife's first experience, so she tried a 6-pour taster (4 oz/$14), and opted for all stouts, including: Guinness Irish Stout (4.9%), "We Love LA" Stout (6.1%), Obsessed-Coffee Disorder Stout (6.4%), Peanut Butter Stout (6.8%), Smoked Maple Bar Stout (7.5%), and Triple Stout (8.1%). I chose a pint of the Chocoholic Anonymous Stout (6.0%) which has always been one of my favorites. She liked the Peanut Butter Stout the best, so we ended up sharing a pint of that before we left. We got our fill, and they were all pretty delicious! FOOD: Check out social media (@the_stout_house_upland) as to who will be there serving what. On our visit, "Culinary Madness 101" (@culinarymadness101) was set up outside and sold tapas style items. We tried the Papas Bravas con Chorizo ($12) which was excellent and a fantastic accompaniment to the beers. I highly recommend that you check out The Stout House for your next micro-brewery adventure...you won't be sorry.

When I asked for a recommendation, the bartender(?) was very patient with me and gave me samples of two of their bestsellers while explaining the flavor profiles. The brewery only has snacks to serve as food but allow any outside food. They do have a food truck, typically Mexican food, and it was pretty tasty. We tried the carne asada nachos and surprisingly enjoyed the taste. They have numerous tv's playing along the brewery with both the soccer and baseball games that was going on concurrently. There is no "bad" place to sit and you still have a great view of the TVs. There is an open area where kids hang out and if they like, can play with a sports ball of choice; my kids brought a bounce ball. The only thing lacking was parking and music. We got lucky after driving around the block a few times but the parking spaces are pretty tight, especially if you have a truck or SUV. Though games are playing, with all the laughing/talking not much you can hear except the loud clatter so music would have helped as much better "noise" to hear lol Overall, beer and slushy seltzers were great, reasonably priced, and big area to sit.

They predictably have a ton of IPA's, I'm sure they're good but I want browns, stouts and porters. I have a dream that more breweries will brew more darker beers. I don't need 10 ipa choices.
