I have been wanting to visit this pub for a while now to sample their British treats. Was greeted by friendly bartender Bree who recommended a great local beer to enjoy while I waited for my food. Ordered a Shepards pie with the side salad. The atmosphere is cozy with great music, friendly regulars, and a large back room to play pool and darts. Food came out piping hot and delicious, a perfect day time comfort lunch! Will definitely be coming back to hang out soon

Service was great! The bartender Stephanie was very down to earth and fun. We didn't order any food. Stopped in for a couple beers. Seems like a great place to watch sports or just hangout. Women's restroom is clean and maintained. That's very important when going to bars.

10 out of 10. Sammy and Stephanie were my bartenders and they were amazing. The Indian curry and fish & chips are must haves. Everything was great - the drinks, food, service & vibe

Bar was a awesome location ... We came here to watch the Colombia vs Argentina Finale of the Copa America. Also the Spain vs England ... Will say that the bar was very accommodating. The drinks where great and had a different variety We ordered chicken strips and fries and they were yummy ... the pub was super clean and the staff was super friendly. Yes, I will come back. Food looked delicious from what other ppl ordered . Nonetheless it was awesome bar to check out

Left to right: Lamb shank, Fish and chips, Bangers and mash, Scottish egg...scrumptious.

BBP... Best British Pub. Great place to hang out, friendly atmosphere with an awesome landlord. Whether at the bar or playing a game of pool, dart aiming or just chit chatting with the average punters, you're guaranteed to have a great time period. Don't forget to try the Bangers and mash, lamb shank and Scottish egg. Their kitchen offers a great variety of dishes to tuck into. So give this place a visit in Upland.

This place was fun for the novelty of going to a British pub and eating British foods, but it's not a place that we will necessarily go back to. We arrived around 6:30ish on a Friday evening. It wasn't really thatttt busy (although it got busier while we were there), but still our food took 30ish minutes to get to us. Our server was apologetic and kept checking up on us. She had warned us that the meat pies would take about 25 minutes, but I would assume our other food should have come out earlier... Wings - These were good! We got the mild and it was a nice buffalo mild spiciness. There was a good amount of meat on them, too. We didn't want fries with it, so we asked if there was any substitute we could do. They said they could give a few extra wings instead, so that was great! At $11, it was good value :) Fish & chips - Fish were a good size and had a nice batter around them. Good with the tartar sauce, but a bit boring without. The fries were actually the biggest disappointment. The waitress highly recommended them, but we were really disappointed. Nice size and texture, but they were dry and flavorless and not really worth finishing. At $19, this was sadly overpriced. Steak & mushroom meat pie - This was good! Nice portion size and yummy taste. Mashed potatoes also good. And this will sound crazy, but a highlight was actually the peas. They were just so pleasantly nice hahaha. The whole combo was good value at $15.

Fish, chips, cole slaw w/tartar sauce & malt vinegar!

The food was amazing as was the service! One of my fave stops for a cold Guinness and their awesome fish & chips.

A blessing and safe space for all entities

Great service - very fun and attentive bartenders. The atmosphere is lively, and the drink list (minus the wine) is thorough.

When we called ahead, no one mentioned they were only serving a limited St. Patrick's Day menu today. Nothing from the regular menu was available. My daughter ended up eating plain fries the whole time because there wasn't a single kid-appropriate option. It felt misleading after being told it's family-friendly when we called prior to coming. The place was packed. The line was out the door, and we had a long wait. Inside was uncomfortably hot and stuffy too. I was eyeing the Cottage Pie but asked the server about peas (not a fan), and she said it might have a lot, so I passed. My wife ordered it instead since she doesn't mind peas and surprise, zero peas in it. She said it was just okay, nothing special, so I guess I didn't miss out. I went with the Irish Nachos instead. They were fine, but the house-made potato chips were underwhelming. Crispy but not flavorful. The standout was the lemon pepper wings. Those were actually really good. Green beer was a fun thematic touch too. Atmosphere is lively for the holiday, but for a regular visit or even future St. Patrick's Day? Probably not coming back. If you're planning to go on the big day, brace for crowds and waits. And for fun, here's a limerick summing it up: There once was a pub in Upland so grand, For St. Paddy's we joined hand in hand. But the menu was slim, Kid options were grim, Just fries for our lass, what a bland! The heat made us sweat, lines out the door, Cottage Pie? "Peas maybe." We weren't sure. No peas in the end, Wife said "meh" my friend, Nachos were fine, wings we adored. Green beer was cool, but that's all the cheer, Average at best, won't return here. Three stars is the call, For the holiday thrall. Fun once, but not every year!

We had about 26 people, and I was so concerned that I wouldn't be able to find a place that could seat us all on a Saturday evening. I emailed with Alex, the taproom manager, a little less than 2 weeks before the date I wanted, and she told me that they would be able to accommodate us! I was so incredibly relieved! After our axe throwing, we walked the VERY short walk across the street, and Alex and her staff had our tables ready to go for everyone! They made our huge group feel so welcomed and taken care of from the moment we got there! Alex explained to us that the food and drinks are ordered at the registers, which made it so easy and convenient for everyone to not have to worry about doing separate checks for a big group (that can get confusing and messy sometimes). The beers, seltzers, and food were all incredible!!! Even the most particular people in our group raved about how good everything was, and trust me when I say, that is a high compliment! The staff were absolutely incredible as well! They were so knowledgeable about the beers, so patient with our big group, and were just so helpful and kind! Everyone is still talking about how great everything was, and I'm truly so grateful to Alex and the rest of the staff at Rescue Brewing for making my husband's birthday so amazing!! We appreciate you all so much, and we can't wait to come back soon!

I must say, the brewery really stands out with their bright and appealing logo out front. When we went in, the place was packed, but we were able to find a table for the four of us. To our surprise, they didn't just have a huge beer selection--they also offered a large variety of seltzers and cocktails for anyone who wasn't in the mood for beer. I decided to try the Tart of War, and my taste buds were in for a pleasant surprise. This sour beer had delicious notes of strawberry, pineapple, coconut, and vanilla. The brewery had a lot of TVs, which was perfect because I was able to catch the Lakers game that night. The bartenders were super friendly and worked efficiently, even with such a large crowd. The 90's alternative rock playing in the background had all of us nodding along. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. They also seem to have a happy hour on Wednesdays from 6-9 PM with food and drink specials, which is definitely worth checking out.

Surprisingly we were seated within 10 minutes, were handed menus and then we waited 15 minutes for a server to arrive at our table to take our drink and appetizer order. 15 minutes later, our cocktails arrived. The Mary's Secret was fantastic as were the Pommes Frites with various dipping sauces we ordered an our app. Another 20 minutes passed, our cocktails were empty and the server arrived at the table again to take our order. We requested a fish and chips, three burgers and another round of cocktails. 20 minutes passed again and the fish and chips arrived; fresh, hot, large portion; delicious! Another 10 minutes passed, our second round of cocktails arrived but no one else's meal did. 20 minutes total passed since the fish and chips meal arrived when the three burgers arrived: one piping hot, juicy and great tasting, the other two burgers stone cold. We called our server back to make him aware of the cold burgers. My husband and daughter-in-law were so over it, that they declined replacement burgers. Instead I cut my burger into thirds to share and my daughter shared her fish 'n chips. 20 minutes later, our server returned with the bill in which he was kind enough to not charge for the two cold burgers, but our bill for seven cocktails, an order of fries, a burger and fish 'n chips was still $175. We requested the bill be split in half amongst two credit cards, we paid and after two hours and none of us able to enjoy a full meal, we left and stopped at a drive-thru. To add insult to injury, this morning I checked my credit card statement and instead of splitting the bill down the middle, one couple was charged $121 and the other $54. What an awful experience at an establishment we were all looking forward to trying for the very first time.

We ordered the steak nachos, and they were seriously impressive -- generously loaded with tender, well-seasoned beef, creamy sauce, fresh pico de gallo, avocado slices, and pickled onions. Luckily, the barista announced to us there's a server in the back and self served seating. When the patrons heard that, only then did the make room for us to walk through. We seated ourselves in the back near the kitchen, where a server named Danny was sweet enough to help us out. He had gotten us two IPAs and a margarita pizza. He also let us sample an additional IPA, since we were quite torn between two. He was very sweet and humorous, so shout out to him! He made our visit amazing! As for the pizza, I wasn't very impressed. Although I liked the dough, the pizza itself was quite plain. I've had some fantastic margarita pizzas, and perhaps this wasn't it. We promised Danny that we'd be back to try a different one, because he swears by it! Overall, the decor was quite interesting. I enjoyed seeing all the street signs and the alternative rock music they had playing. We will be back, as promised, when we crave another pizza.
