Came here for my birthday with a pre reserved section! Love thqt you can adjust your reservation 2 days before so you can get refunded on any drops. What a fun place! They have options for you to take pictures they display on monitors all night and if you have goofy friends like I do, they may write messages up there too. It did take all night for me to get called up to get serenaded/roasted awesome of my friend had already left but it was a fun night! Losing a star since they didn't play my sister's song and didn't mention it when they were down the last ones. Also be aware there is a service charge they add to the food so don't accidentally overtip!

Came here on a Friday night with my husband and a friend. It was a first time for all of us so we didn't know what to except. Cover charge to get in was $10 a person. Service was great. Food and drinks were alright. The show is based off of the audience and their song requests. They explain how it works throughout the show. Basically there is a sheet of paper on each table where you can write down your song request. Requests are played with cash or Venmo tips. We thought the piano dual was awesome. All of the pianists are incredibly talented and can play just about any song on the spot. It definitely contained lots of adult humor so if you're not into that then this might not be for you. Overall, it was enjoyable and something different to do.

This place is the best of both worlds. A restaurant and somewhat of a karaoke bar. Book your table ahead of time to guarantee a spot. We had a party of 6 and was able to sit pretty close to the pianos. The playing and singing were great. But be prepared for them to roast you if you get on stage. We all had a great time and couldn't stop laughing. This will forever be a core memory for those in my party. The food was decent. I wouldn't say it was memorable. But with a few drinks and some of the classic songs being sung you'll have a wonderful time and not really care about the food. This is good for groups of 4-6 and for celebrations. We're looking forward to go back soon.

You might think that a place like this on a Thursday might be a smidge less entertaining than a Friday or Saturday. But worry not! The guests were all in and so were the musicians. The back-and-forth between the different table groups and the musicians was an absolute blast! And these musicians - just WOW! The music selections we sent up ran the gamut between 50s standards, to 80s, to country, to rap, to today's hits. There was nothing these extremely talented folks couldn't take on well. My favorites were a crazy incredible take on Devil Went Down to Georgia and a punk version of Blank Space. Clever, witty as heck, amazingly talent, and personable banter with the audience made for lightning in a bottle kind of night. It's a pay to play system, with monetary amounts creating the lineup. So, bring some of the cold, hard stuff. Out of green? No worries! They got you with Venmo. Wings, salads, coconut shrimp - all tasty. Drinks? Yes please! Our server, Kelsey, was 100% amazing. Haven't been here before, but I'm sure gonna be back. It was a heck of a good time.

I went to Piano Piano for the first time this past Saturday for a friend's birthday. We were a party of 18 and they have 4 grown adults per table, we were all squeezed together, not much space at all for everyone's food/drinks. Do not come here if you are not willing to spend some money. To start off there was a $15 reservation fee per person , the drinks are kind of pricey and not that great, they want you to pay for song request, the more you pay the sooner they play/perform your song and if someone out bids you they can stop your song, I get it it's "fun" but all I could see if $$$. The guys were for the most part pretty funny but I don't think I would be going back anytime soon.

A fun, live music experience to help celebrate a girl friend's birthday. We all had such a great time! My first time at a love music piano bar. We did eat dinner before the venue, but we could have opted to enjoy their bar menu. The musicians are all fun, witty, spontaneous, and able to work around the crowd to liven us all up. Highly recommend bringing cash to tip for special requests. They do have Venmo available as well. My least favorite part was how an audience member can bypass your special request/tip and make the musicians stop playing your song. My most favorite part was their exceptional service though, from the reservations, table reserved for our group, and their cocktails. They really helped make our birthday celebration so special. Even entertained our guest of honor with a special song. Fantastic and FUNtastic staff! We even had a round of a special interactive game occurring between music sets and it really kept us all entertained throughout the night. Thank you to their wonderful staff for a great evening. Definitely recommend for any occasion or a fun date night. It's in a separate building in the same lot as the Doubletree Hotel (if I recall correctly). Large groups, I definitely recommend making reservations online/call and note your occasion as their staff is very attentive and have great communication via email, based on what I experienced.

This place is always a good time! It's always super busy, so make sure you get there early to snag a good spot. The food and drinks are great, and the entertainers are always on point. They put on such a great performance--it's really paying to play. The whole restaurant is engaged, and everyone's just having a good time. If you want to prank your friends, send the money and leave a note with it. They will call them up! Sit back, watch and laugh.

Can I take a small cake if I'm celebrating a birthday? Thanks!

Unfortunately because it's stupid liberal LA county you have to be fully vaccinated.

On Taco Tuesday, are tacos still only a dollar?

I don't believe Piano Piano is doing Taco Tuesday or even Thirsty Thursday just yet. I think after being open a few weeks they may restart it again.

What is the age requirement on Saturday night?

Hi Danielle! We are always 21 and over.

    Are Sunday's pretty good?

There are no dueling pianos. It is karaoke night. It is also 1/2 off drinks too!!

Is there a cover charge on the weekends?

Yes there is a cover. But it's only $10

Do you have to have a reservation?

No but reservations for big parties are encouraged so that they can be properly staffed

    What's going on Thursday nights?

$6 teas(long islands, AMF, La water) $6 appetizers too!

Are you open 4th of July?

    No it's not

On the nights that they have karaoke, do they also do the dueling pianos?

No. Sunday monday are just karaoke!

Once you place a reservation..Do you have to pay cover plus seat charge?

Only if you come past the reservation time then you will have to pay cover charge.

Does it get really hot in there?

It can get a little warm, but they are usually good with the A.C. and bringing new drinks!

Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. Do better Manuel, you alone got your place of work a 1 star. The rest of the staff was kind, facility beautiful and food and wine was good. This restaurant is not reflected in the 1 star.

False Advertising and Total Failure of a "Speakeasy"…read more This place should not call itself a speakeasy. According to their website, they are strict about dress code, reservations, and no large parties. None of that was enforced. People arrived wearing sports clothes, tennis shoes, and flip-flops, and a group of more than 10 people was allowed in. That group was loud, drunk, and screaming, completely destroying any speakeasy ambiance. We had a reservation booked one week in advance for 2 tables of six, yet by 8:30 pm, we were told no food was available, despite the bar being almost empty. The water was already on the table when we arrived and tasted strongly of chlorine, with no ice. The waitress was clearly new, untrained, and unprepared. She did not know the menu, didn't know how to take an order properly, and provided no guidance whatsoever. There was one bartender Ricardo, who took over an hour to prepare cocktails and showed no sense of urgency or care. The dramatic cocktail descriptions sounded impressive, but the drinks did not match the descriptions at all. Because of the delays, we were never even able to properly toast or celebrate our friend. The charcuterie board took forever and arrived with an absurd amount of cheese and only six pieces of bread. To make things worse, part of the food we ordered never arrived at all. The live jazz band advertised and promised never showed up. When asked, the staff responded with: "I don't know, they were supposed to be here. I don't have their phone number." That level of disorganization is unacceptable. At the end of the night, we were shocked to receive a check close to $600 for two tables, despite each person only having one cocktail and shared food. The bartender, Ricardo, approached us and said: "Well, sorry, we really tried tonight! It wasn't the best, but we tried." Honestly, that comment made the experience even more frustrating. I can't imagine how bad it would have been if they hadn't "tried."That statement perfectly summarizes the problem -- trying is not enough when everything fails. I would not recommend this place for a speakeasy experience. This is not a speakeasy. It's a poorly run bar hiding behind a concept it does not deliver. Do not recommend.

The staff was inexperienced, dismissive, and unprofessional. Drinks were outrageously overpriced and took forever to arrive. The food was a joke, a $60 charcuterie board made up of cheap grocery store cheese, ham, and crackers that didn't come close to justifying the price. We were served warm water that tasted like chlorine, and the response from staff was literally "I don't know, I just work here." At one point both waitresses vanished, leaving the bartender overwhelmed and everything grinding to a halt. The live jazz band they advertise never showed up, and staff had no explanation or contact info. The so-called dress code was completely ignored, with groups in jeans and sneakers flooding in, turning the place loud, chaotic, and classless. This place delivers nothing it promises. It's not a speakeasy, it's a poorly run bar that shouldn't be in business. Strongly do not recommend, and honestly, I want my money back.

After being seated 40 minutes later, service took 20 minutes to take our order, and another 30 minutes to be served. Food was 'okay', there was no entertainment, and multiple customers were unhappy with similar slow service... but some of them were comped parts of their meals.. we didn't even get a sorry until we spoke to the manager on our way out, expressing the reason was they had no idea it would be this busy on a Thursday (they take reservations, so...), and also blamed an 'all you can eat promotion' they promoted earlier, and they only had two serves on staff that night. 4) We were late to Mr. Wanderlust, but were luck to get two seats at the bar after another couple left. We order two cocktails and a coffee... and were charged just over $140. Then, we were asked to move because they wanted to take our seats. We asked about the bill to the bartendar, and she expressed that since she didn't take our original order, she couldn't help us. She simply just had us stand there. We were not going to pay since it seemed way off... until finally we spoke to a guy walking by. We showed him our ticket/receipt and said out loud, "this isn't right". He came back quickly with a revised bill of almost $120. This was still far too high, but no one else seemed interested in helping us find resolve, so we ate it since we didn't want to be late for part 3 of the night. 5) Hoping to salvage the night with drinks and dancing... we tried to find the entrance to Sinners and Santos for their advertised Latin night. We had made reservations here too, and had full confirmation of the reservation... BUT, after finally being directed to the entrance (outside on the patio), they were closed. No sign of why and no one who worked at the other locations had a reason, but they were just simply closed. 6) So, after paying $35 for parking, about $140 in cocktails and food while waiting for our initial reservation at Golden Hour and Que Barbaro, $150+ for dinner at Lucky Mizu, and $120 at Mr. Wanderlust... approximately $500 total... we didn't even get to dance. Maybe this place had a bad night, but based on what the workers said, and how they treated us... it sure seems like the norm. Don't get me wrong, the place is cool... some really great experiential elements and nice photo ops... but I would have had a much better time somewhere else. Super disappointed in this place.

From the moment of arrival, the atmosphere establishes itself as both sophisticated and intimate. The room is thoughtfully designed, with warm lighting, tasteful décor, and acoustics that elevate the live music experience without overwhelming conversation. The venue strikes a careful balance--energetic yet controlled--making it equally suitable for a night of entertainment or a focused dining experience. A particularly memorable highlight of the evening was a visit to our table from Eden Alpert, daughter of Herb Alpert. She was gracious, engaging, and genuinely attentive, adding a personal touch that reinforced the establishment's commitment to hospitality at every level. The culinary program reflects intention and care. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, with clear attention to detail in both presentation and flavor. Execution in the kitchen is confident, and the overall quality of the food aligns well with the venue's upscale positioning. The wine list is well-curated and sufficient in scope, offering a range of options to complement the menu. However, pricing is notably elevated, with markups that may give even seasoned diners pause. A corkage fee of $50 per bottle is in line with the venue's premium positioning, though it further reinforces the importance of thoughtful wine selection for those mindful of value. Service throughout the evening was attentive and polished, contributing to a seamless flow from seating to service to performance. Staff demonstrated both professionalism and warmth, enhancing the overall guest experience. The live music remains the centerpiece--and rightly so. Performances are exceptional, supported by excellent acoustics that allow every note to resonate clearly throughout the space. It is this combination of sound quality, ambiance, and intimacy that continues to define the venue's reputation. In summary, Vibrato Grill Jazz delivers a compelling and well-rounded experience: elevated cuisine, engaging service, and outstanding live jazz in an elegant setting. While the wine pricing may lean toward the premium end, the overall experience justifies its standing as a destination for both dining and music enthusiasts alike.
