Before they would kick you out if they saw you taking pictures and they were super strict!! Saw several people kicked out. I do love how they change the drink menu seasonally. And their bartenders are so good you could tell them what you want and they'll make it to your liking. Like what kind of liquor, sweet, fruity, tart, refreshing etc. Their knowledge of what goes together is amazing. My wife and I ordered the same drink but asked for totally different liquors and it was amazing. They do have a food menu, which is the same as the main restaurant, but no samdwhichs or burgers. They are really quick with the drinks. And they taste amazing. Prices are like $15, which you cant find anymore. Especially with their quality!! The drinks look so pretty. The food is good too Tacos are amazing, brussel sprouts are good. Everything here is good. And yhe food comes out quickly too!! The decor is dark. Very dim lights. Odd art on the walls. Evidently women who have killed men. Which i thought was a weird theme to go with. Seating inside is tight. We were on the couch and the high tops must've been like 5 inches away from our heads. So you can hear everyone's conversations. Fortunately for us this time around there was only 1 other person at the bar. So it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Bartender was super cool. Gave us a complimentary drink. Overall it was a very good night. Great drinks. Great prices. Felt very exclusive.

This was formerly Citrus Grove before it was taken over by the current owners. I enjoyed Citrus Grove just as much, and I am happy that Evolve doesn't make me miss it. My favorite drinks are their take on the White Russian and their White Hokkaido. The White Russian is special because they add pistachio, and it's just fantastic! The White Hokkaido is the matcha version, so instead of the coffee liquor, they use matcha, and it's delightful! They often have live jazz, which makes the place fun, though often on jazz nights, they require advance reservations or ticket purchase. Other nights are more quiet and perfect for a relaxed outing. They don't have any food, but there are often food vendors at the brewery across the way, and you can bring your own. I also enjoy that I can bring my dog with me, since I often visit after drinks at the brewery or the ciderie next door (both of which are dog-friendly).

Over one hundred guests attended the party. The entire event and experience were fun and memorable. The bar area and the outdoor patio were vast, clean, and well-maintained. The outdoor area offered guests cabana-like seating with very comfortable padded chairs, as well as bar-like tables. Employees were very hard-working, friendly, and super nice. The food, which consisted of salad, lasagna, and pizza, was EXCELLENT!! And full of flavor. The adult beverages were well-made and easily available from the waiters and waitresses. If I were rating on food alone, this would be a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere was great, featuring a cute bar up front and a large, comfortable back patio. We caught a live set by Zone Trooper Charlie, who played a fantastic two-hour gig outside. While most seating is comfortable, some of the plastic wicker-style chairs could be improved. This service--or lack there of--is where the experience fell short. While the staff was friendly, they were clearly overwhelmed by the Friday night crowd. The salad never arrived, we waited 30 minutes for water, and we had to hunt down our pizza after 45 minutes because it was never delivered to the table. Additionally, the beer list was IPA-heavy with few other options. The owner seemed genuinely nice and was walking the floor checking on guests. I hope people provide honest feedback so they can iterate to success. It's a good spot with good pizza--they just need to dial in the logistics to match the quality of the kitchen.

It is in an old house right on the north side of Foothill Blvd or historic Rt 66 actually. Open only for dinner we got there at 7 pm and were seated in the dining area by the bar. It was dark and I just loved the beautiful and colorful lamps. Felt the old school vibe in the air. Atmosphere - 5 stars - nice and mellow. The room - really cool. The bar was happening and popping. Really fun group. We were in the dark and docile section and had to get the flashlights on our phones to check out the menu. The food - 5 stars- great Calamari. Awesome salmon ( charbroiled with really delicious sides- mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus). The other appetizer was the guac mash which was also really nice. Came with warm bread. Table next to us got really awesome looking steaks. Lobster looked yummy as well. The drinks - Marlene had a couple of Pineapple cosmos and she said they were strrrrrronggggg. The service - 5 stars plus - our waitress Eva was really great. Very attentive and talked to us for a bit not rushing us out at 9 pm. Bartender( lady) and Manager also were really cool. Dress code - I was in slacks and a collared shirt but the two gents by us were in gym attire. So casual on a Monday was ok. Parking - loads in a very big lot. It came to $80 per person plus tip so expect pricing and a tab in that range with drinks $16-18, appetizers also in that range and entrees $35-47. It was an interesting experience.

From the outside this restaurant is very inviting with its huge trees surrounding what seems to be a historic home. The inside can definitely use a rehab as carpet was old and frayed, walls dingy and with outdated decor. We ordered their filet mignon which was overcooked. It had a demiglaze which was good but there wasn't enough and I wished I had asked for more. It came with a side of mashed potatoes which was amazing as well perfectly cooked garlic string beans. They provide complementary sour dough bread which was warm and so delicious! Their dinner salad was a disappointment as it was limp, didnt seem fresh and was literally just lettuce and dressing. What they lacked in ambience they definitely made up for with their service. Staff were friendly and very accommodating and probably one of the best features of this restaurant. Would I return? For a club banquet yes, but for a nice dinner probably not. With their price point and inconsistencies with food- I would go elsewhere for a nice dinner.

One of the coolest things about a speakeasy is the transition into the space. Here, there's a walkway and corner, then turn into the candle and subtle lit space. It's a small thing? But that bit of walk helps distance the mind and feel open to the special space. There is a bar with seating, a long high top, and bench & table booth-ish type seating. The colors are warm, reminiscent of sitting in a western sunset. Music plays - jazzy, alternative, happy music. We were greeted and seated by the friendly hostess, then welcomed warmly by the magic maker himself: the bartender! And what delightfully unique, and dare I say daring, concoctions he made! The cocktails each had a spin, an ingredient, something *different* from the norm, making it challenging for my friend and I to narrow down which delights to try! Even the popcorn was unique, with chili and nutritional yeast savoriness that was the perfect complement to our cocktails. My friend felt the Silver Cloud was quite the adult version of a smoothie dessert! She got ideas...I adored my Last Word. It was refreshing with the green chartreuse and incredibly not-put-down-able. Next up, she had the Bandolier. It was a very unique taste to her, pretty puckery, so the bartender - who checked on us regularly for impressions - added a bit more pineapple. That did the trick! My next was the Boulevardier, which was uniquely and deliciously twisted with the coffee and salt. Absolute yum!!! Even though there's a 90 minute limit, on this Thursday night there was plenty of space between imbibers, and we weren't pressured in any way to move along. Thank you, as we were due for a proper catch up. One thing we did notice, is that once there were more folks chatting and laughing, it became a bit echo-y and harder to hear. On a busier night, I imagine the ambience we first experienced- quieter, mellow, chill vibe - likely changes to more robust and lively. Either way, this place is a feels-far-away retreat worth "traveling" to.
